Abstract
Description
[0001] This application claims priority over Chinese patent application No. 202321319962,4, filed with the Chinese National Intellectual Property Administration on May 26, 2023, entitled “ELECTRONIC DEVICE, DISPLAY MODULE AND SUPPORT ELEMENT”, which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. TECHNICAL AREA
[0002] This application relates to the field of foldable electronic product technologies and in particular to an electronic device, a display module and a support element. BACKGROUND
[0003] For a foldable electronic product that can be folded more than once, a support element is typically arranged on the underside of a flexible display panel to improve its rigidity. However, as the rigidity of the flexible display panel increases, it becomes difficult for it to conform to the folding mechanism of the electronic device when the device is in a second folded state. Therefore, it is particularly important to arrange a display module that can meet both stiffness and flexibility requirements. SUMMARY
[0004] This application provides a support element, a display module and an electronic device that can meet both a stiffness requirement and a bendability performance requirement.
[0005] According to a first aspect, an embodiment of this application provides an electronic device. The electronic device comprises a first housing, a second housing, a third housing, a first foldable mechanism, a second foldable mechanism, and a display module. The first foldable mechanism is connected to the first housing and the second housing, and the second foldable mechanism is connected to the second housing and the third housing.
[0006] The display module includes a scoreboard and a support element, and the support element is attached to a non-display area of the scoreboard.
[0007] The support element comprises a first fastening part, a first bent part, a second fastening part, a second bent part and a third fastening part, arranged sequentially in a first direction, wherein the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part and the stiffness of the third fastening part are greater than the stiffness of the first bent part and the stiffness of the second bent part, and the first direction is a direction from the first housing to the third housing when the electronic device is in an unfolded state.
[0008] The scoreboard has a first display area, a second display area, a third display area, a fourth display area and a fifth display area, arranged in the first direction.A first surface of the first mounting part is attached to the first display area, a first surface of the first curved part is attached to the second display area, a first surface of the second mounting part is attached to the third display area, a first surface of the second curved part is attached to the fourth display area, and a first surface of the third mounting part is attached to the fifth display area; and when the electronic device is in the unfolded state, the first surface of the first mounting part, the first surface of the first curved part, the first surface of the second mounting part, the first surface of the second curved part, and the first surface of the third mounting part are on the same surface.
[0009] A second surface of the first fastening part is attached to the first housing, a second surface of the second fastening part is attached to the second housing, and a second surface of the third fastening part is attached to the third housing, wherein the first surface of the first fastening part is opposite the second surface of the first fastening part, the first surface of the second fastening part is opposite the second surface of the second fastening part, and the first surface of the third fastening part is opposite the second surface of the third fastening part.
[0010] In a process where the first and second housings are unfolded or folded relative to each other, the first bent part is bent. In a process where the second and third housings are unfolded or folded relative to each other, the second bent part is bent.
[0011] When the electronic device is in the unfolded state, the first mounting part, the first curved part, the second mounting part, the second curved part and the third mounting part form a plate-like structure.
[0012] When the electronic device is in a first folded state, the first mounting part, the first bent part and the second mounting part form a plate-like structure, the second bent part is bent, the third mounting part and the second mounting part are stacked, and the first display area, the second display area, the third display area, the fourth display area and the fifth display area are all located on an outside of the electronic device.
[0013] When the electronic device is in a second folded state, the first bent part and the second bent part are bent, the first fastening part, the second fastening part and the third fastening part are stacked, the first display area, the second display area and the third display area are located in a receiving space formed by the first fastening part, the first bent part and the second fastening part, and the fifth display area and at least a section of the fourth display area are located on the outside of the electronic device.
[0014] The first curved part comprises a first curved lower part, a first curved main part, and a second curved lower part, arranged sequentially in the first direction. In the process of unfolding or folding the first housing and the second housing relative to each other, the first curved main part is bent in one folding direction, the first curved lower part and the second curved lower part are bent away from the folding direction, the first curved lower part, the first curved main part, and the second curved lower part form a receiving space, and at least one portion of the second display area is located within the receiving space.
[0015] It is understood that the first bent part has minimal stiffness when positioned within the first mounting bracket, the first bent part, the second mounting bracket, and the third mounting bracket. Consequently, the stiffness of a second part of the display module, which includes the first bent part and the second display area, is low. In this case, the second part of the display module is more likely to bend when the electronic device is in a second folded state. Furthermore, the second bent part exhibits minimal stiffness when positioned within the first mounting bracket, the second mounting bracket, the second bent part, and the third mounting bracket. Therefore, the stiffness of a fourth part of the display module, which includes the second bent part and the fourth display area, is low.In this case, the fourth part of the display module is more likely to bend when the electronic device is in the first folded or second folded state. Additionally, the stiffness of the first mounting part, the stiffness of the second mounting part, and the stiffness of the third mounting part are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent part and the stiffness of the second bent part, so that the stiffness of the first mounting part, the stiffness of the second mounting part, and the stiffness of the third mounting part are high, and each of the first, second, and third mounting parts can provide rigid support for the first, third, and fifth display areas of the scoreboard, respectively. Therefore, the support element in this application can be configured to provide a rigid support for the scoreboard in order to improve the scoreboard's structural strength. Additionally, the support element can also be bent under external force while maintaining a certain degree of stiffness. In other words, the support element also exhibits a degree of flexibility.
[0016] It is understood that when the electronic device transitions between the first folded state and the second folded state (i.e., in the process of the electronic device being relatively unfolded or folded), the first bent main part is bent in the folding direction. In this case, the first bent lower part and the second bent lower part of the first bent part can be positioned close to each other, allowing the first bent part of the support element and the second display area of the display panel to be bent into a shape with a small volume. In this way, the first bent part of the support element can satisfy a bending requirement of the second display area of the display panel, enabling the first bent part of the support element and the second display area of the display panel to conform to an inwardly folding mechanism.
[0017] Additionally, the first curved lower section and the second curved lower section of the first curved section are arranged so that they bend away from the folding direction, allowing them to be positioned close together. In this case, the first curved section of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. This allows the first curved section of the support element to better meet the bending requirements of the second display area of the scoreboard, enabling them to better conform to the inward-folding mechanism.
[0018] In one possible implementation, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part are all greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0019] It is understood that the first bent main section, below the first bent lower section, has minimal stiffness, thus exhibiting greater flexibility. In other words, the first bent main section can be bent more sharply when the electronic device is in its second folded state. In this case, the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section of the first bent part can be positioned closer together. The first bent part of the support element and the second display area of the display panel can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. In this way, the first curved part of the support element can better meet the bending requirement of the second display area of the scoreboard, so that the first curved part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can better adapt to the receiving space of the inwardly folding mechanism.
[0020] Additionally, in this implementation, the stiffness of both the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main section, so that both the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section of the first bent part exhibit a specific bending capability. In this case, both the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section of the first bent part are bent away from the folding direction. The first bent lower section and the second bent lower section of the first bent part can also be positioned close to each other, and the first connecting section and the second connecting section of the first bent part can also be positioned close to each other. In this case, the first bent part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. In this way, the first curved part of the support element can better meet the bending requirement of the second display area of the scoreboard, so that the first curved part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can better adapt to the receiving space of the inwardly folding mechanism.
[0021] In one possible implementation, the thickness of the first fastening part, the thickness of the second fastening part, the thickness of the first bent lower part, and the thickness of the second bent lower part are all greater than the thickness of the first bent main part. In this way, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part can all be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0022] In one possible implementation, the weight per unit volume of the first fastening part, the weight per unit volume of the second fastening part, the weight per unit volume of the first bent lower part, and the weight per unit volume of the second bent lower part are all greater than the weight per unit volume of the first bent main part. In this way, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part can all be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0023] In one possible implementation, the width of the first curved main section is greater than the width of the first curved lower section, and vice versa. This reduces the overall stiffness of the first curved section, allowing the first curved section of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard to be bent into a shape with a small volume. The first curved section of the support element can better meet the bending requirements of the second display area of the scoreboard, thus enabling the first curved section of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard to better conform to the inward-folding mechanism.
[0024] In one possible implementation, the first curved main section is provided with multiple rows of through-holes, and the through-hole penetrates two plate surfaces of the support element. This contributes to significantly reducing the overall stiffness of the first curved main section.
[0025] In one possible implementation, the through-hole extends in a second direction, and this second direction is parallel to the plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction. This significantly reduces the overall stiffness of the first curved main section.
[0026] In one possible implementation, the through-hole is rod-shaped. This helps to significantly reduce the overall stiffness of the first curved main part.
[0027] In one possible implementation, a first row of through-holes of the plurality of rows of through-holes penetrates a first side edge of the first bent main part in the second direction; and / or a final row of through-holes of the plurality of rows of through-holes penetrates a second side edge of the first bent main part in the second direction, the second direction being parallel to the plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction. This contributes to significantly reducing the stiffness of the first side edge of the first bent main part and / or the second side edge of the first bent main part, thus improving the bending performance of the first bent main part and further significantly reducing its overall stiffness.
[0028] In one possible implementation, the first curved lower part and the second curved lower part are arranged symmetrically with respect to the first curved main part.
[0029] In one possible implementation, the first curved lower section is provided with multiple rows of first through-holes, and the first through-hole penetrates two plate surfaces of the support element. This helps to reduce the overall stiffness of the first curved lower section.
[0030] In one possible implementation, the first through-hole extends in a second direction, and the second direction is parallel to the plate surface of the support element and is perpendicular to the first direction.
[0031] In one possible implementation, the first through-hole is rod-shaped.
[0032] In one possible implementation, the first bent part further comprises a first connecting part and a second connecting part; the first connecting part is located between the first bent lower part and the first bent main part, and the second connecting part is located between the second bent lower part and the first bent main part; the stiffness of the first connecting part and the stiffness of the second connecting part are greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first bent main part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part; and in the process of unfolding or folding the first housing and the second housing relative to each other, the first bent lower part, the first connecting part, the first bent main part, the second connecting part, and the second bent lower part together form the receiving space.
[0033] It is understood that the stiffness of the first connecting part and the stiffness of the second connecting part are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first bent main part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part, in order to ensure that the first bent part as a whole has a specific stiffness to provide a rigid support for the second display area of the scoreboard.
[0034] In one possible implementation, the first connecting part and the second connecting part are arranged symmetrically with respect to the first curved main part.
[0035] In one possible implementation, the first and second connecting parts are completely plate-like structures. This helps to ensure that both the first and second connecting parts exhibit a certain degree of stiffness.
[0036] In one possible implementation, a second through-hole or a second groove is provided in a second direction on at least one side edge of the first connecting part, wherein the second direction is parallel to a plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction.
[0037] It is understood that the second through-hole or groove is provided on at least one side edge of the first connecting part to reduce the stiffness of the first connecting part. In other words, the first connecting part exhibits a certain degree of flexibility. In this case, the stiffness of the first connecting part can provide a transition function between the stiffness of the first bent lower part and the stiffness of the first bent main part. In other words, the stiffness of a connection area between the first bent lower part and the first bent main part is not high. The stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first connecting part, and the stiffness of the first bent main part are continuous. In this way, it is unlikely that a bump with a large bending amplitude will be created on a side edge of the first connecting part if the electronic device is struck due to an impact, ensuring that the first connecting part can be restored after the impact; that is, that the first connecting part is unlikely to be damaged. In other words, it is unlikely that the support element will fold if the electronic device is struck due to an impact.
[0038] In one possible implementation, the second set of through holes or grooves on a side edge of the first connecting piece are spaced apart; in other words, a second set of through holes in the first connecting piece does not penetrate the side edge of the first connecting piece. In this way, the stiffness of the first connecting piece is unlikely to be significantly reduced. The stiffness of the first connecting piece can provide a smooth transition between the stiffness of the first bent lower piece and the stiffness of the first bent main piece. In other words, the stiffness of a connection area between the first bent lower piece and the first bent main piece is not low. In this case, the stiffness of the first bent lower piece, the stiffness of the first connecting piece, and the stiffness of the first bent main piece are more continuous. In this way, it is less likely that a bump with a large bending amplitude will be created on a side edge of the first connecting piece if the electronic device is struck by an impact, thus ensuring that the first connecting piece can be restored after the impact; that is, that the first connecting piece is unlikely to be damaged. In other words, it is unlikely that the support element will fold if the electronic device is struck by an impact.
[0039] In one possible implementation, the thickness of the first connecting part and the thickness of the second connecting part are greater than the thickness of the first bent lower part, the thickness of the first bent main part, and the thickness of the second bent lower part; or the weight per unit volume of the first connecting part and the weight per unit volume of the second connecting part are greater than the weight per unit volume of the first bent lower part, the weight per unit volume of the first bent main part, and the weight per unit volume of the second bent lower part. In this way, the stiffness of the first connecting part and the stiffness of the second connecting part can be greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first bent main part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part.
[0040] In one possible implementation, the support element is provided with a first recessed area, the first recessed area forms an opening on a side edge of the first curved lower part and / or a side edge of the first connecting part and / or a side edge of the first curved main part and / or a side edge of the second connecting part and / or a side edge of the second curved lower part, and a section of an end part of the first folding mechanism is arranged in the first recessed area.
[0041] It is understood that the first recessed area is located at the end section of the first foldable mechanism, allowing the first foldable mechanism to utilize a space within the support element along the Y-axis. This means that the first foldable mechanism and the support element have an overlapping area along the Y-axis. This helps to reduce the black edge area of the electronic device, thus enabling the electronic device to implement a narrow bezel design.
[0042] In one possible implementation, the first folding mechanism includes at least a first inwardly folding plate and a second inwardly folding plate; and when the electronic device is in the unfolded state, both the first inwardly folding plate and the second inwardly folding plate are stacked with the first bent part. It is understood that in this way, when the electronic device is unfolded into the unfolded state and the first bent part is subjected to a compressive force, a crushing force, an impact force, or the like, the first inwardly folding plate and the second inwardly folding plate can be configured to improve the compressive and impact resistance of the first bent part; in other words, it is ensured that the first bent part is not susceptible to a problem such as being crushed.
[0043] In one possible implementation, both the first inwardly folding plate and the second inwardly folding plate are partially attached to the first curved part.
[0044] It is understood that in a folding process of the electronic device, both the first inwardly folding plate and the second inwardly folding plate can, through the first curved part of the support element, pull the second display area of the scoreboard inward to be folded (that is, bent in a direction close to a first hinge structure), thus preventing the second display area of the scoreboard from bulging in a direction away from the first hinge structure. Additionally, in an unfolding process of the electronic device, both the first inwardly folding plate and the second inwardly folding plate can, through the first curved part of the support element, cause the second display area of the scoreboard to unfold.
[0045] In one possible implementation, the first bent part further includes a first connecting part and a second connecting part, wherein the first connecting part is located between the first bent lower part and the first bent main part, and the second connecting part is located between the second bent lower part and the first bent main part.
[0046] The first connecting piece is attached to the first inwardly folding plate, and the second connecting piece is attached to the second inwardly folding plate.
[0047] In the process of unfolding or folding the first housing and the second housing relative to each other, the first curved lower part, the first connecting part, the first curved main part, the second connecting part, and the second curved lower part together form the receiving space.
[0048] It is understood that in the folding process of the electronic device, both the first inwardly foldable plate and the second inwardly foldable plate can pull the second display area of the display board in order to be folded inwards through the first connecting part and the second connecting part of the support element, and therefore it is prevented that the second display area of the display board curls in a direction away from the folding direction, that is to say, that the second display area of the display board does not curl.
[0049] In one possible implementation, the second curved section is provided with multiple rows of penetration hole groups. These multiple rows of penetration hole groups are spaced apart in a second direction. Each penetration hole group contains multiple penetration holes spaced apart. The majority of penetration holes are arranged in the first direction. The penetration hole penetrates two plate surfaces of the support element, and the second direction is parallel to the plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction. This significantly reduces the overall stiffness of the second curved section.
[0050] In one possible implementation, the penetration hole is rod-shaped and extends in the second direction. This helps to significantly reduce the overall stiffness of the second curved part.
[0051] In one possible implementation, the plurality of rows of penetration hole groups includes a first-row penetration hole group, and the first-row penetration hole group is near a first side edge of the second curved part; and the first-row penetration hole group includes first-type penetration holes and second-type penetration holes, the second-type penetration holes being arranged on two sides of the first-type penetration hole, the first-type penetration hole further penetrating the first side edge, and the second-type penetration holes being spaced apart from each other on the first side edge.
[0052] It is understood that the penetration hole of the first type is arranged to penetrate the first side edge of the second bent part, such that the stiffness of a central portion of the first side edge of the second bent part is low, meaning that the central portion of the first side edge of the second bent part is more likely to bend. Additionally, the penetration hole of the second type is arranged not to penetrate the first side edge of the second bent part, so that the stiffness at both ends of the first side edge of the second bent part is not low.In this way, it is unlikely that a bump with a large bending amplitude will be created at both ends of the first side edge of the second bent part if the electronic device is struck by an impact, thus ensuring that the second bent part can recover its shape after the impact; that is, that the second bent part is unlikely to be damaged. In other words, it is unlikely that the support element will fold if the electronic device is struck by an impact.
[0053] In one possible implementation, the second curved part is provided with a second recessed area. This recessed area forms an opening on either a first or second side edge of the second curved part, and a section of an end part of the second foldable mechanism is positioned within this recessed area. In this way, the second foldable mechanism can utilize space within the support element along the Y-axis, meaning that the second foldable mechanism and the support element have an overlapping area along the Y-axis. This helps to reduce the black edge area of the electronic device, thus enabling the implementation of a narrow bezel design.
[0054] In one possible implementation, the second surface of the first mounting part is attached to the first housing by a first adhesive layer, the second surface of the second mounting part is attached to the second housing by a second adhesive layer, and the second surface of the third mounting part is attached to the third housing by a third adhesive layer; and both the first and second adhesive layers are ring-shaped, and the third adhesive layer is ⊏-shaped.
[0055] Both the first and second adhesive layers are arranged in a ring shape, and the third adhesive layer is ⊏-shaped, ensuring that the support element is stably bonded to the first, second, and third housings and minimizing the space occupied by the adhesive layer. This improves the space utilization of the housing.
[0056] According to a second aspect, this application provides a display module. The display module includes a scoreboard and a support element, and the support element is attached to a non-display area of the scoreboard.
[0057] The support element comprises a first fastening part, a first bent part, a second fastening part, a second bent part and a third fastening part, arranged successively in a first direction, wherein the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part and the stiffness of the third fastening part are greater than the stiffness of the first bent part and the stiffness of the second bent part, and the first direction is a direction from the first fastening part to the third fastening part when the support element is in an unfolded state.
[0058] The scoreboard has a first display area, a second display area, a third display area, a fourth display area and a fifth display area, arranged in the first direction.
[0059] The first mounting part is attached to the first display area, the first curved part is attached to the second display area, the second mounting part is attached to the third display area, the second curved part is attached to the fourth display area, and the third mounting part is attached to the fifth display area.
[0060] In a process in which the first fastening part and the second fastening part are unfolded or folded relative to each other, the first bent part is bent; and in a process in which the second fastening part and the third fastening part are unfolded or folded relative to each other, the second bent part is bent.
[0061] When the support element is in the unfolded state, the first fastening part, the first curved part, the second fastening part, the second curved part and the third fastening part form a plate-like structure.
[0062] When the support element is in a first folded state, the first fastening part, the first bent part and the second fastening part form a plate-like structure, the second bent part is bent, the third fastening part and the second fastening part are stacked, and the first display area, the second display area, the third display area, the fourth display area and the fifth display area are all located on an outside of the support element.
[0063] When the support element is in a second folded state, the first bent part and the second bent part are bent, the first fastening part, the second fastening part and the third fastening part are stacked, the first display area, the second display area and the third display area are located in a receiving space formed by the first fastening part, the first bent part and the second fastening part, and the fifth display area and at least one section of the fourth display area are located on the outside of the support element.
[0064] The first curved part includes a first curved lower part, a first curved main part, and a second curved lower part, arranged successively in the first direction.
[0065] In the process in which the first mounting part and the second mounting part are unfolded or folded relative to each other, the first bent main part is bent in a folding direction, the first bent lower part and the second bent lower part are bent away from the folding direction, the first bent lower part, the first bent main part and the second bent lower part form a receiving space and at least one section of the second display area is located in the receiving space.
[0066] It is understood that the first curved section has minimal stiffness when positioned within the first mounting bracket, the second curved section, and the third mounting bracket. Consequently, the stiffness of a second section of the display module, which includes the first curved section and the second display area, is low. In this case, the second section of the display module is more likely to bend when the support element is in a second folded state. Furthermore, the second curved section also has minimal stiffness when positioned within the first mounting bracket, the second mounting bracket, the second curved section, and the third mounting bracket. Therefore, the stiffness of a fourth section of the display module, which includes the second curved section and the fourth display area, is low.In this case, the fourth section of the display module is more likely to bend when the support element is in the first folded or second folded state. Additionally, the stiffness of the first mounting part, the stiffness of the second mounting part, and the stiffness of the third mounting part are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent section and the stiffness of the second bent section, ensuring that the stiffness of the first mounting part, the stiffness of the second mounting part, and the stiffness of the third mounting part are high, and that each of the first, second, and third mounting parts can provide rigid support for the first, third, and fifth display areas of the scoreboard, respectively.
[0067] It is understood that when the support element transitions between the first folded state and the second folded state (i.e., in the process of the support element being relatively unfolded or folded), the first bent main part is bent in the folding direction. In this case, the first bent lower part and the second bent lower part of the first bent part can be positioned close to each other, allowing the first bent part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard to be bent into a shape with a small volume. In this way, the first bent part of the support element can meet a bending requirement of the second display area of the scoreboard, enabling the first bent part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard to conform to an inwardly folding mechanism.
[0068] Additionally, the first curved lower section and the second curved lower section of the first curved section are arranged so that they bend away from the folding direction, allowing them to be positioned close together. In this case, the first curved section of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. This allows the first curved section of the support element to better meet the bending requirements of the second display area of the scoreboard, enabling them to better conform to the inward-folding mechanism.
[0069] In one possible implementation, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part are all greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0070] It is understood that the first curved main section, below the first curved lower section, has minimal stiffness, thus allowing the first curved main section to exhibit greater flexibility. In other words, the first curved main section can be bent more sharply when the support element is in its second folded state. In this case, the first curved lower section and the second curved lower section of the first curved section can be positioned closer together. The first curved section of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. In this way, the first curved part of the support element can better meet the bending requirement of the second display area of the scoreboard, so that the first curved part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can better adapt to the receiving space of the inwardly folding mechanism.
[0071] Additionally, in this implementation, the stiffness of both the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main section, so that both the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section of the first bent part exhibit a specific bending capability.
[0072] In one possible implementation, the thickness of the first fastening part, the thickness of the second fastening part, the thickness of the first bent lower part, and the thickness of the second bent lower part are all greater than the thickness of the first bent main part. In this way, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part can all be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0073] In one possible implementation, the weight per unit volume of the first fastening part, the weight per unit volume of the second fastening part, the weight per unit volume of the first bent lower part, and the weight per unit volume of the second bent lower part are all greater than the weight per unit volume of the first bent main part. In this way, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part can all be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0074] In one possible implementation, the width of the first curved main section is greater than the width of the first curved lower section, and vice versa.
[0075] In one possible implementation, the first curved main section is provided with multiple rows of through-holes, and the through-hole penetrates two plate surfaces of the support element. This contributes to significantly reducing the overall stiffness of the first curved main section.
[0076] In one possible implementation, the through-hole extends in a second direction, and this second direction is parallel to the plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction. This significantly reduces the overall stiffness of the first curved main section.
[0077] In one possible implementation, the through-hole is rod-shaped. This helps to significantly reduce the overall stiffness of the first curved main part.
[0078] In one possible implementation, a first row of through-holes of the plurality of rows of through-holes penetrates a first side edge of the first bent main part in the second direction; and / or a final row of through-holes of the plurality of rows of through-holes penetrates a second side edge of the first bent main part in the second direction, the second direction being parallel to the plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction. This contributes to significantly reducing the stiffness of the first side edge of the first bent main part and / or the second side edge of the first bent main part, thus improving the bending performance of the first bent main part and further significantly reducing its overall stiffness.
[0079] In one possible implementation, the first curved lower part and the second curved lower part are arranged symmetrically with respect to the first curved main part.
[0080] In one possible implementation, the first curved lower section is provided with multiple rows of first through-holes, and the first through-hole penetrates two plate surfaces of the support element. This helps to reduce the overall stiffness of the first curved lower section.
[0081] In one possible implementation, the first through-hole extends in a second direction, and the second direction is parallel to the plate surface of the support element and is perpendicular to the first direction.
[0082] In one possible implementation, the first through-hole is rod-shaped.
[0083] In one possible implementation, the first bent part further includes a first connecting part and a second connecting part, wherein the first connecting part is located between the first bent lower part and the first bent main part, and the second connecting part is located between the second bent lower part and the first bent main part.
[0084] The stiffness of the first connecting part and the stiffness of the second connecting part are greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first bent main part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part; and in the process of unfolding or folding the first fastening part and the second fastening part relative to each other, the first bent lower part, the first connecting part, the first bent main part, the second connecting part, and the second bent lower part together form the receiving space.
[0085] It is understood that the stiffness of the first connecting part and the stiffness of the second connecting part are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first bent main part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part, in order to ensure that the first bent part as a whole has a specific stiffness to provide a rigid support for the second display area of the scoreboard.
[0086] In one possible implementation, the first and second connecting parts are completely plate-like structures. This helps to ensure that both the first and second connecting parts exhibit a certain degree of stiffness.
[0087] In one possible implementation, a second through-hole or a second groove is provided in a second direction on at least one side edge of the first connecting part, wherein the second direction is parallel to a plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction.
[0088] It is understood that the second through-hole or groove is provided on at least one side edge of the first connecting part to reduce the stiffness of the first connecting part.
[0089] In one possible implementation, the second set of through holes or grooves on a side edge of the first connecting piece are spaced apart; in other words, a second set of through holes in the first connecting piece does not penetrate the side edge of the first connecting piece.
[0090] In one possible implementation, the thickness of the first connecting part and the thickness of the second connecting part are greater than the thickness of the first bent lower part, the thickness of the first bent main part, and the thickness of the second bent lower part; or the weight per unit volume of the first connecting part and the weight per unit volume of the second connecting part are greater than the weight per unit volume of the first bent lower part, the weight per unit volume of the first bent main part, and the weight per unit volume of the second bent lower part. In this way, the stiffness of the first connecting part and the stiffness of the second connecting part can be greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first bent main part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part.
[0091] In one possible implementation, the support element is provided with a first recessed area, the first recessed area forms an opening on a side edge of the first curved lower part and / or a side edge of the first connecting part and / or a side edge of the first curved main part and / or a side edge of the second connecting part and / or a side edge of the second curved lower part, and the first recessed area is used to accommodate a section of an end part of the first folding mechanism.
[0092] It is understood that the first recessed area is located at the end section of the first foldable mechanism, allowing the first foldable mechanism to utilize a space within the support element along the Y-axis. This means that the first foldable mechanism and the support element have an overlapping area along the Y-axis. This helps to reduce the black edge area of the electronic device, thus enabling the electronic device to implement a narrow bezel design.
[0093] In one possible implementation, the second curved section is provided with multiple rows of penetration hole groups.
[0094] In one possible implementation, the penetration hole is rod-shaped and extends in the second direction. This helps to significantly reduce the overall stiffness of the second curved part.
[0095] In one possible implementation, the plurality of rows of penetration hole groups includes a first-row penetration hole group, and the first-row penetration hole group is near a first side edge of the second curved part; and the first-row penetration hole group includes first-type penetration holes and second-type penetration holes, the second-type penetration holes being arranged on two sides of the first-type penetration hole, the first-type penetration hole further penetrating the first side edge, and the second-type penetration holes being spaced apart from each other on the first side edge.
[0096] It is understood that the penetration hole of the first type is arranged to penetrate the first side edge of the second bent part, such that the stiffness of a central portion of the first side edge of the second bent part is low, meaning that the central portion of the first side edge of the second bent part is more likely to bend.
[0097] In one possible implementation, the second curved part is provided with a second recessed area.
[0098] According to a third aspect, this application provides a support element. The support element comprises a first fastening part, a first bent part, a second fastening part, a second bent part, and a third fastening part, arranged successively in a first direction, wherein the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, and the stiffness of the third fastening part are greater than the stiffness of the first bent part and the stiffness of the second bent part, and the first direction is a direction from the first fastening part to the third fastening part when the support element is in an unfolded state.
[0099] In a process in which the first fastening part and the second fastening part are unfolded or folded relative to each other, the first bent part is bent; and in a process in which the second fastening part and the third fastening part are unfolded or folded relative to each other, the second bent part is bent.
[0100] When the support element is in the unfolded state, the first fastening part, the first curved part, the second fastening part, the second curved part and the third fastening part form a plate-like structure.
[0101] When the support element is in a first folded state, the first fastening part, the first bent part and the second fastening part form a plate-like structure, the second bent part is bent and the third fastening part and the second fastening part are stacked.
[0102] When the support element is in a second folded state, the first bent part and the second bent part are bent, and the first fastening part, the second fastening part, and the third fastening part are stacked.
[0103] The first curved part includes a first curved lower part, a first curved main part, and a second curved lower part, arranged successively in the first direction.
[0104] In the process of unfolding or folding the first mounting part and the second mounting part relative to each other, the first bent main part is bent in a folding direction, the first bent lower part and the second bent lower part are bent away from the folding direction, the first bent lower part, the first bent main part and the second bent lower part form a receiving space and the receiving space is used to arrange at least one section of the second display area.
[0105] It is understood that the first curved section has minimal stiffness when positioned within the first mounting bracket, the second curved section, and the third mounting bracket. Consequently, the stiffness of a second section of the display module, which includes the first curved section and the second display area, is low. In this case, the second section of the display module is more likely to bend when the support element is in a second folded state. Additionally, the second curved section has minimal stiffness when positioned within the first mounting bracket, the second mounting bracket, the second curved section, and the third mounting bracket. Therefore, the stiffness of a fourth section of the display module, which includes the second curved section and the fourth display area, is low.In this case, the fourth section of the display module is more likely to bend when the support element is in the first folded or second folded state. Additionally, the stiffness of the first mounting part, the stiffness of the second mounting part, and the stiffness of the third mounting part are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent section and the stiffness of the second bent section, such that the stiffness of the first mounting part, the stiffness of the second mounting part, and the stiffness of the third mounting part are large, and the first, second, and third mounting parts are each configured to provide rigid support for the first, third, and fifth display areas of the scoreboard.
[0106] It is understood that when the support element transitions between the first folded state and the second folded state (i.e., in the process of the support element being relatively unfolded or folded), the first bent main part is bent in the folding direction. In this case, the first bent lower part and the second bent lower part of the first bent part can be positioned close together, allowing the first bent part of the support element to be bent into a shape with a small volume. In this way, the first bent part of the support element can be configured to meet a bending requirement of the second display area of the scoreboard, so that the first bent part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can adapt to an inwardly folding mechanism.
[0107] Additionally, the first curved lower section and the second curved lower section of the first curved section are arranged to bend away from the folding direction, allowing them to be positioned close together. This enables the first curved section of the support element to be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. In this way, the first curved section of the support element can be configured to better meet the bending requirements of the second display area of the scoreboard, allowing the first curved section of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard to better conform to the inward-folding mechanism.
[0108] In one possible implementation, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part are all greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0109] It is understood that the first bent main section, below the first bent lower section, has minimal stiffness, thus exhibiting greater flexibility. In other words, the first bent main section can be bent more sharply when the support element is in its second folded state. In this case, the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section of the first bent part can be positioned closer together. The first bent part of the support element can be bent into a shape with a small volume. In this way, the first curved part of the support element can be configured to better meet the bending requirement of the second display area of the scoreboard, so that the first curved part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can better fit into the receiving space of the inwardly folding mechanism.
[0110] Additionally, in this implementation, the stiffness of both the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main section, so that both the first bent lower section and the second bent lower section of the first bent part exhibit a specific bending capability. In this case, the first bent part of the support element can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. In this way, the first curved part of the support element can better meet the bending requirement of the second display area of the scoreboard, so that the first curved part of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard can better adapt to the receiving space of the inwardly folding mechanism.
[0111] In one possible implementation, the thickness of the first fastening part, the thickness of the second fastening part, the thickness of the first bent lower part, and the thickness of the second bent lower part are all greater than the thickness of the first bent main part. In this way, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part can all be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0112] In one possible implementation, the weight per unit volume of the first fastening part, the weight per unit volume of the second fastening part, the weight per unit volume of the first bent lower part, and the weight per unit volume of the second bent lower part are all greater than the weight per unit volume of the first bent main part. In this way, the stiffness of the first fastening part, the stiffness of the second fastening part, the stiffness of the first bent lower part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part can all be greater than the stiffness of the first bent main part.
[0113] In one possible implementation, the width of the first curved main section is greater than the width of the first curved lower section, and the width of the first curved main section is greater than the width of the second curved lower section. This helps to reduce the overall stiffness of the first curved section, allowing it to be bent into a shape with a small volume. The first curved section of the support element can be configured to better meet the bending requirements of the second display area of the scoreboard, enabling the first curved section of the support element and the second display area of the scoreboard to better conform to the inward-folding mechanism.
[0114] In one possible implementation, the first curved main section is provided with multiple rows of through-holes, and the through-hole penetrates two plate surfaces of the support element. This contributes to significantly reducing the overall stiffness of the first curved main section.
[0115] In one possible implementation, the through-hole extends in a second direction, and this second direction is parallel to the plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction. This significantly reduces the overall stiffness of the first curved main section.
[0116] In one possible implementation, the through-hole is rod-shaped. This helps to significantly reduce the overall stiffness of the first curved main part.
[0117] In one possible implementation, a first row of through-holes of the plurality of rows of through-holes penetrates a first side edge of the first bent main part in the second direction; and / or a final row of through-holes of the plurality of rows of through-holes penetrates a second side edge of the first bent main part in the second direction, the second direction being parallel to the plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction. This contributes to significantly reducing the stiffness of the first side edge of the first bent main part and / or the second side edge of the first bent main part, thus improving the bending performance of the first bent main part and further significantly reducing its overall stiffness.
[0118] In one possible implementation, the first curved lower part and the second curved lower part are arranged symmetrically with respect to the first curved main part.
[0119] In one possible implementation, the first curved lower section is provided with multiple rows of first through-holes, and the first through-hole penetrates two plate surfaces of the support element. This helps to reduce the overall stiffness of the first curved lower section.
[0120] In one possible implementation, the first through-hole extends in a second direction, and the second direction is parallel to the plate surface of the support element and is perpendicular to the first direction.

[0122] In one possible implementation, the first bent part further includes a first connecting part and a second connecting part, wherein the first connecting part is located between the first bent lower part and the first bent main part, and the second connecting part is located between the second bent lower part and the first bent main part.

[0124] It is understood that the stiffness of the first connecting part and the stiffness of the second connecting part are set to be greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first bent main part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part, in order to ensure that the first bent part as a whole has a specific stiffness to provide a rigid support for the second display area of the scoreboard.
[0125] In one possible implementation, the first and second connecting parts are completely plate-like structures. This helps to ensure that both the first and second connecting parts exhibit a certain degree of stiffness.
[0126] In one possible implementation, a second through-hole or a second groove is provided in a second direction on at least one side edge of the first connecting part, wherein the second direction is parallel to a plate surface of the support element and perpendicular to the first direction.
[0127] It is understood that the second through-hole or groove is provided on at least one side edge of the first connecting part to reduce the stiffness of the first connecting part. [0129] In one possible implementation, the thickness of the first connecting part and the thickness of the second connecting part are greater than the thickness of the first bent lower part, the thickness of the first bent main part, and the thickness of the second bent lower part; or the weight per unit volume of the first connecting part and the weight per unit volume of the second connecting part are greater than the weight per unit volume of the first bent lower part, the weight per unit volume of the first bent main part, and the weight per unit volume of the second bent lower part. In this way, the stiffness of the first connecting part and the stiffness of the second connecting part can be greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part, the stiffness of the first bent main part, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part.
[0130] In one possible implementation, the support element is provided with a first recessed area, the first recessed area forms an opening on a side edge of the first curved lower part and / or a side edge of the first connecting part and / or a side edge of the first curved main part and / or a side edge of the second connecting part and / or a side edge of the second curved lower part, and the first recessed area is used to accommodate a section of an end part of the first folding mechanism.

In the following descriptions, terms such as "first" and "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and cannot be understood as implying a relative meaning or as implying or implicitly indicating a set of specified technical features. Therefore, a feature limited by "first" or "second" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more features. Additionally, "a plurality of" means "at least two."The term "and / or" in embodiments of this application describes only an association relationship for describing associated objects and indicates that three relationships can exist. For example, A and / or B can represent the following three cases: only A exists, both A and B exist, and only B exists. Additionally, the character " / " in this specification generally indicates an "or" relationship between the associated objects.
[0139] Additionally, embodiments of this application mention a mathematical concept, such as parallel, vertical, and the like. These restrictions all apply to the current process level, but not to an absolutely strict definition in the mathematical sense. A small deviation is permissible, which may be approximately parallel or vertical. For example, that A is parallel to B means that A is parallel or approximately parallel to B, and an included angle of 0 degrees to 10 degrees between A and B is permissible. For example, that A is perpendicular to B means that A is vertical or approximately perpendicular to B, and an included angle of 80 degrees to 100 degrees between A and B is permissible.
[0140] In the following, embodiments of this application are described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0141] Fig. Figure 1 is a diagram of the structure of an electronic device 1000 in an unfolded state according to an embodiment of this application. Fig. 2 is a diagram of a structure of the in Fig. 1 shown electronic device 1000 in a first folded state according to an implementation. Fig. 3 is a diagram of a structure of the in Fig. 1 shown electronic device 1000 in a second folded state according to an implementation.
[0142] As in Fig. 1 to Fig. As shown in Figure 3, this application provides the electronic device 1000, which can be folded more than once. The electronic device 1000 can be a foldable device such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a personal computer, a notebook computer, a vehicle-mounted device, or a portable device. The electronic device 1000 in the Fig. The embodiment shown in Figure 1 is described using a mobile phone as an example. For the sake of simplicity, a thickness direction of the electronic device 1000 is defined as a Z-axis direction, and a longitudinal direction of a rotation axis of the electronic device 1000 is defined as a Y-axis direction; that is, a width direction of the electronic device 1000 is defined as the Y-axis direction. A direction perpendicular to the Y-axis and Z-axis directions is an X-axis direction; that is, a length direction of the electronic device 1000 is an X-axis. For example, the X-axis direction is defined as a first direction, and the Y-axis direction is defined as a second direction. In another implementation, the first direction and the second direction can alternatively be flexibly set according to a requirement, provided that the first direction differs from the second direction.
[0143] It is understood that the coordinate system of the electronic device 1000 can alternatively be flexibly set based on a specific requirement. In this implementation, if the direction of the rotation axis of the electronic device 1000 is the Y-axis direction, the electronic device 1000 can be unfolded or folded in the Y-axis direction. In this way, when the electronic device 1000 is in a second folded state, its size is reduced in the X-axis direction.
[0144] Fig. 4 is a partial exploded view of the in Fig. 1 electronic device 1000 shown according to an implementation. Fig. 5 is a partial sectional view of the Fig. 3 electronic device shown on an AA line according to an implementation.
[0145] It will be on Fig. 4 and Fig. 5. Referenced. With reference to Fig. 1 to Fig. The electronic device 1000 comprises a display module 100, a first housing 210, a second housing 220, a third housing 230, a first folding mechanism 310, and a second folding mechanism 320. The first folding mechanism 310 is connected to the first housing 210 and the second housing 220. The first folding mechanism 310 is configured to unfold or fold the first housing 210 and the second housing 220 relative to each other. The second folding mechanism 320 is connected to the second housing 220 and the third housing 230. The second folding mechanism 320 is configured to unfold or fold the second housing 220 and the third housing 230 relative to each other. It is understood that in this application, the first foldable mechanism 310 and the second foldable mechanism 320 are arranged in the electronic device 1000 such that the electronic device 1000 can be folded a plurality of times. The first foldable mechanism 310 can be an inwardly foldable mechanism. The second foldable mechanism 320 can be an outwardly foldable mechanism. The inwardly foldable mechanism 310 is a foldable mechanism that can fold at least one section of the display module 100 between the two housings. The outwardly foldable mechanism 320 is a foldable mechanism that can fold at least one section of the display module 100 to the outside of the housing. In another implementation, the first foldable mechanism 310 can alternatively be an outwardly foldable mechanism. The second foldable mechanism 320 can alternatively be an inwardly foldable mechanism. This is not specifically restricted in this application.
[0146] This implementation uses an example for description where the first folding mechanism 310 is an inward-folding mechanism and the second folding mechanism 320 is an outward-folding mechanism. For better readability and understanding, the following description refers to the first folding mechanism 310 using an inward-folding mechanism, and the following description refers to the second folding mechanism 320 using an outward-folding mechanism. A reference to the inward-folding mechanism is a reference to the first folding mechanism 310. A reference to the outward-folding mechanism is a reference to the second folding mechanism 320.
[0147] See Fig. 4. With reference to Fig. 1. The electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state when the first housing 210, the second housing 220, the third housing 230, the inwardly folding mechanism 310, and the outwardly folding mechanism 320 are unfolded relative to each other. For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state, the first housing 210, the second housing 220, the third housing 230, the inwardly folding mechanism 310, and the outwardly folding mechanism 320 may be arranged in an X-axis direction and may be approximately 180° (a slight deviation, for example, 165°, 177°, or 185°, is permissible).
[0148] See Fig. 2. With reference to Fig. 4. The electronic device 1000 is in its first folded state when the first housing 210, the second housing 220, the third housing 230, the inwardly folding mechanism 310, and the outwardly folding mechanism 320 are folded into a first folded state relative to each other. For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in its first folded state, the first housing 210, the second housing 220, and the inwardly folding mechanism 310 may be arranged in the X-axis direction and may be approximately 180° (a slight deviation, for example, 165°, 177°, or 185°, is permissible). The second housing 220 and the third housing 230 may be close together, and the second housing 220 and the third housing 230 may be stacked in one thickness direction of the electronic device 1000.
[0149] See Fig. 5. With reference to Fig. 3. The electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state when the first housing 210, the second housing 220, the third housing 230, the inwardly folding mechanism 310, and the outwardly folding mechanism 320 are folded into a second folded state relative to each other. For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, the first housing 210 and the second housing 220 may be close together and stacked in the thickness direction of the electronic device 1000. The second housing 220 and the third housing 230 may also be close together, stacked in the thickness direction of the electronic device 1000, and the second housing 220 may be stacked between the first housing 210 and the third housing 230.In this case, the first housing 210, the second housing 220, and the third housing 230 can be arranged in the Z-axis direction. When the first housing 210 and the second housing 220 are switched from the first folded state to the second folded state, the inwardly folding mechanism 310 can enclose a receiving space 3104. It is understood that inwardly folding mechanisms 310 with different structures may have receiving spaces 3104 with different shapes. Specific structures of the inwardly folding mechanism 310 and the outwardly folding mechanism 320 are not restricted in this application.
[0150] See Fig. 4 and Fig. 5. With reference to Fig. 1 to Fig. The display module 100 comprises a first part 100A, a second part 100B, a third part 100C, a fourth part 100D, and a fifth part 100E, which are connected sequentially. The second part 100B is connected between the first part 100A and the third part 100C. The third part 100C is connected between the second part 100B and the fourth part 100D. The fourth part 100D is connected between the third part 100C and the fifth part 100E. For example, in Fig. 1 and Fig. 4 An example is used for illustration in which the first part 100A, the second part 100B, the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E are arranged in the X-axis direction.
[0151] The first part 100A of the display module 100 can be attached to the first housing 210. The third part 100C can be attached to the second housing 220. The fifth part 100E can be attached to the third housing 230. It is understood that when the first housing 210 and the second housing 220 are unfolded or folded relative to each other by the inwardly folding mechanism 310, the first housing 210 can cause the first part 100A of the display module 100 to unfold or fold relative to the third part 100C, and the second housing 220 can cause the third part 100C of the display module 100 to unfold or fold relative to the first part 100A. In this case, the second part 100B of the display module 100 can be bent. When the second housing 220 and the third housing 230 are unfolded or folded relative to each other by the outwardly folding mechanism 320, the second housing 220 can cause the third part 100C of the display module 100 to unfold or fold relative to the fifth part 100E, and the third housing 230 can cause the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 to unfold or fold relative to the third part 100C. In this case, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 can be bent.
[0152] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 4, in one implementation the first part 100A of the display module 100 can be attached to the first housing 210 by a first adhesive layer 1. The third part 100C can be attached to the second housing 220 by a second adhesive layer 2. The fifth part 100E can be attached to the third housing 230 by a third adhesive layer 3.
[0153] For example, the first adhesive layer 1 can be ring-shaped. If this ensures that the first adhesive layer 1 can be attached to the first housing 210, the first adhesive layer 1 does not occupy a large area of the first housing 210, and the space utilization of the first housing 210 is high. Additionally, the first adhesive layer 1 includes a first rod segment 1a. The first rod segment 1a is located near the inwardly folding mechanism 310. In this way, a side section belonging to the first part 100A, which is near the second part 100B, can be attached to the first housing 210 by the first rod segment 1a. In this case, during an inward folding process of the second part 100B, it is unlikely that the second part 100B will fold in a direction opposite to the inward folding direction. In another implementation, the shape of the first adhesive layer 1 is not specifically restricted.
[0154] For example, the second adhesive layer 2 can also be ring-shaped. If this ensures that the second adhesive layer 2 can be attached to the second housing 220, the second adhesive layer 2 does not occupy a large area of the second housing 220, and the space utilization of the second housing 220 is high. Additionally, the second adhesive layer 2 includes a second rod segment 2a. The second rod segment 2a is located near the inwardly folding mechanism 310. In this way, a side section belonging to the third part 100C, which is near the second part 100B, can be attached to the second housing 220 by the second rod segment 2a. In this case, during an inward folding process of the second part 100B, it is unlikely that the second part 100B will fold in a direction opposite to the inward folding direction. In another implementation, one form of the second adhesive layer 2 is not specifically restricted.
[0155] For example, the third adhesive layer 3 can be ⊏-shaped. It is understood that the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 is an outwardly foldable screen. Since the underside of the fourth part 100D is supported by the outwardly foldable mechanism 320, it is unlikely that the fourth part 100D will fold in a direction opposite to the outwardly folding direction during the outward folding process. Thus, in this implementation, the third adhesive layer 3 can omit a rod segment near the outwardly foldable mechanism 320 without affecting the folding of the fourth part 100D. Additionally, the second adhesive layer 2 includes a third rod segment 2b. The third rod segment 2b is located near the outwardly foldable mechanism 320.In this way, the third rod segment 2b of the second adhesive layer 2 can fit into the third adhesive layer 3, so that the fifth part 100E is attached to the third housing 230. Compared to the ring-shaped third adhesive layer 3, the third adhesive layer 3 in this implementation can omit a rod segment near the outwardly foldable mechanism 320. Therefore, the third adhesive layer 3 occupies a smaller area of the third housing 230, and the space utilization of the third housing 230 is higher. In another implementation, the shape of the third adhesive layer 3 is not specifically restricted.
[0156] As in Fig. 1 and Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the display module 100 can be in its unfolded state when the electronic device 1000 is in its unfolded state. For example, the first part 100A, the second part 100B, the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D, and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 can be approximately 180° (a slight deviation, for example, 165°, 177°, or 185°, is permissible). In this case, the display module 100 has a large continuous display area. In other words, the display module 100 can implement a large screen display, thus providing a good user experience.
[0157] For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in its unfolded state, at least one section of the inwardly folding mechanism 310 can be configured to support the second part 100B, and at least one section of the outwardly folding mechanism 320 can be configured to support the fourth part 100D. In this way, if the second part 100B and the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 are subjected to a compressive force, a crushing force, an impact force, or the like, the inwardly folding mechanism 310 and the outwardly folding mechanism 320 can be configured to improve the compressive and impact resistance of the second part 100B and the fourth part 100D; in other words, it is ensured that the second part 100B and the fourth part 100D are not susceptible to a problem such as being crushed.
[0158] See Fig. 2. With reference to Fig. 1. When the electronic device 1000 is in the first folded state, the display module 100 can also be in the first folded state. The first part 100A, the second part 100B, the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D, and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 are all located on the outside of the electronic device 1000. In this case, the first part 100A, the second part 100B, the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D, and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 are folded into an outer screen of the electronic device 1000. For example, the first part 100A, the second part 100B, and the third part 100C of the display module 100 can be approximately 180° apart (a slight deviation, for example 165°, 177°, or 185°, is permissible). The third part 100C and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 are positioned close together. In this case, the third part 100C and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 can be arranged in the Z-axis direction. Additionally, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 can be bent.
[0159] As in Fig. 3 and Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the display module 100 can be in the second folded state when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state. For example, the first part 100A and the third part 100C of the display module 100 are arranged close together, and the third part 100C and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 are also arranged close together. In this case, the first part 100A, the third part 100C, and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 can be arranged in the Z-axis direction. Additionally, the second part 100B and the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 are bent.
[0160] For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, the first part 100A, the second part 100B and the third part 100C of the display module 100 are all located between the first housing 210 and the second housing 220, the second part 100B is located in the receiving space 3104 of the inwardly folding mechanism 310, both the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 are located on the outside of the outwardly folding mechanism 320 and the third housing 230 (i.e. outside the electronic device 1000), and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 is located on a side of the third housing 230 that is away from the second housing 220.When the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, since the first part 100A, the second part 100B and the third part 100C of the display module 100 are all located between the first housing 210 and the second housing 220, a display surface of the first part 100A faces a display surface of the third part 100C, the second part 100B is bent and arranged between the first part 100A and the third part 100C, the second part 100B is located in the receiving space 3104 of the inwardly foldable mechanism 310, and the first part 100A, the second part 100B and the third part 100C of the display module 100 can be referred to as an inner screen of the display module 100.When the first housing 210 and the second housing 220 are folded, the first part 100A, the second part 100B and the third part 100C are folded into a space formed by the first housing 210, the second housing 220 and the inwardly foldable mechanism 310, and therefore the first part 100A, the second part 100B and the third part 100C can also be referred to as an inner screen of the display module 100. When the second part 100B and the third part 100C are folded, at least one section of a display area of the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 and a display area of the fifth part 100E are located outside the outwardly foldable mechanism 320 and the third housing 230, i.e., outside the electronic device 1000, and therefore the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 can be referred to as an outer screen of the display module 100.In this case, the outwardly foldable mechanism 320 is configured to fold the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 into an outer screen of the electronic device 1000.
[0161] It is understood that for a conventional display module to ensure high pressure and shock resistance, the display module must have high rigidity. In this case, it is difficult to position the second part of the conventional display module within the receiving space when the electronic device is in its second folded state. Even for some inwardly folding mechanisms with complex structures, the shapes of the receiving space enclosed by the inwardly folding mechanism are often irregular when the electronic device is in its second folded state. This makes it more difficult to position the second part of the conventional display module within the receiving space. In other words, it is difficult for the second part of the conventional display module to conform to receiving spaces with varying shapes.Since the conventional display module has a high stiffness, it is also difficult to bend the fourth part of the conventional display module when the electronic device is in its second folded state. Therefore, it is difficult to use the conventional display module in a multiply folded electronic device. However, in this application, the display module 100, which also has good flexibility while ensuring a specific stiffness, is arranged such that, when the electronic device 1000 is in its second folded state, the second part 100B of the display module 100 can be arranged in the receiving space 3104; in other words, the second part 100B of the display module 100 can adapt to the inwardly folding mechanism 310. Additionally, in this application, the second part 100B of the display module 100 can adapt to receiving spaces 3104 with different shapes. When the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 can also be easily bent. In other words, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 can adapt to outwardly foldable mechanisms 320 with different structures. Therefore, the display module 100 in this application can be readily used in the multiply folded electronic device 1000.
[0162] In the following, a structure of the display module 100 and a way of arranging the display module 100 in the inwardly foldable mechanism 310 and the outwardly foldable mechanism 320 are described in particular with reference to the associated accompanying drawings.
[0163] See Fig. 4 and Fig. 5. The inwardly folding mechanism 310 comprises a first inwardly folding plate 3101, a second inwardly folding plate 3102, and a first hinge structure 3103. The first hinge structure 3103 is connected to the first inwardly folding plate 3101 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102. For example, the first hinge structure 3103 can be connected to the first inwardly folding plate 3101 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102 in a connection type such as a rotatable connection or a sliding connection. This is not specifically limited in this application. In addition, the first inwardly folding plate 3101 can also be connected to the first housing 210. The second inwardly folding plate 3102 can also be connected to the second housing 220.For example, the first inwardly folding plate 3101 can be connected to the first housing 210 by a connection type such as a rotatable or a sliding connection. The second inwardly folding plate 3102 can be connected to the second housing 220 by a connection type such as a rotatable or a sliding connection. This is not specifically limited in this application. The first hinge structure 3103 can furthermore be connected to the first housing 210 and the second housing 220. For example, the first hinge structure 3103 can be attached to the first housing 210 and the second housing 220.In some implementations, when the first housing 210 and the second housing 220 are in the unfolded state, the first inwardly folding plate 3101 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102 are connected to each other to form a flat support surface for the second part 100B; that is, when the first housing 210 and the second housing 220 are in the unfolded state, there is a small gap or almost no gap between the first inwardly folding plate 3101 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102, and in one direction from the first inwardly folding plate 3101 to the second inwardly folding plate 3102 there is no other mechanical part between the first inwardly folding plate 3101 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102.In some other implementations, when the first housing 210 and the second housing 220 are in the unfolded state, at least one plate is arranged between the first inwardly foldable plate 3101 and the second inwardly foldable plate 3102, and the first inwardly foldable plate 3101, the second inwardly foldable plate 3102 and the at least one plate form a flat support surface for the second part 100B.
[0164] In another implementation, the structure of the inwardly folding mechanism 310 is not specifically restricted. Although, for example, Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 only showing that the inwardly folding mechanism 310 includes the first inwardly folding plate 3101 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102, the inwardly folding mechanism 310 in another implementation may further include a third inwardly folding plate, ..., and an M-th inwardly folding plate, where M may be an integer greater than or equal to 1.
[0165] See Fig. 4. When the electronic device 1000 is unfolded into its unfolded state, the first inwardly folding plate 3101, the second inwardly folding plate 3102, and the first hinge structure 3103 can be unfolded relative to each other. In this case, the first inwardly folding plate 3101, the second inwardly folding plate 3102, and the first hinge structure 3103 can jointly support the second part 100B of the display module 100. In this way, if the second part 100B of the display module 100 is subjected to a compressive force, a crushing force, an impact force or the like: The first inwardly folding plate 3101, the second inwardly folding plate 3102 and the first hinge structure 3103 can be configured to improve the compressive and impact resistance of the second part 100B, that is, to ensure that the second part 100B is not susceptible to a problem such as being crushed.
[0166] See Fig. 5. When the electronic device 1000 is folded into the second folded state, the first inwardly folding plate 3101 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102 are located close to each other, and the receiving space 3104 is enclosed by the first inwardly folding plate 3101, the second inwardly folding plate 3102, and the first hinge structure 3103. The second part 100B is arranged within the receiving space 3104. It is understood that the cross-sectional shape of the receiving space 3104 is not a trapezoid similar to that shown in Fig. The 5 shown is limited. In another implementation, the cross-sectional shape of the recording space 3104 can alternatively be an irregular shape or the like.
[0167] For example, the first inwardly folding plate 3101, the second inwardly folding plate 3102, and the first hinge structure 3103 are all attached to the second part 100B of the display module 100. In this way, during a folding process of the electronic device 1000, the first inwardly folding plate 3101, the second inwardly folding plate 3102, and the first hinge structure 3103 can all pull the second part 100B of the display module 100 inward (that is, bent in a direction close to the first hinge structure 3103). Therefore, the second part 100B of the display module 100 is prevented from bulging in a direction away from the first hinge structure 3103.
[0168] For example, in the folding process of the electronic device 1000, the first inwardly foldable plate 3101 and the second inwardly foldable plate 3102 can exert a force on the second part 100B of the display module 100, causing the second part 100B to form a specific shape and significantly reducing the volume of the space occupied by the second part 100B. For example, the second part 100B can have the shape of a water droplet, a baseball, or the like.
[0169] Fig. 6 is a partial exploded view of the in Fig. 4 Display module 100 shown according to an implementation. Fig. 7 is a partial exploded view of the in Fig. 2 of the display module 100 shown according to an implementation. Fig. 8 is a partial exploded view of the in Fig. 5 Display module 100 shown according to an implementation.
[0170] As in Fig. 6 to Fig. As shown in Figure 8, the display module 100 includes a display panel 10 and a support element 20. The display panel 10 is configured to display an image and the like. The display panel 10 can be a flexible display panel. For example, the display panel 10 can be an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display panel, an active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display panel, a mini-organic light-emitting diode (mini-organic) display panel, a microorganic light-emitting diode (micro-organic) display panel, a quantum dot light-emitting diode (QLED) display panel, or the like.
[0171] For example, the display module 100 can further include structures such as a backsheet (not shown in the figure), a polarizer (POL) (not shown in the figure), and a protective cover (not shown in the figure). In one implementation, the display module 100 can further include a touch panel (not shown in the figure) and the like.
[0172] As in Fig. 6 to Fig. As shown in Figure 8, the material of the support element 20 can be a composite material such as carbon fiber or glass fiber. It is understood that carbon fiber, glass fiber, and the like have a high modulus. In another implementation, the material of the support element 20 can alternatively be a material such as stainless steel, an aluminum alloy, a magnesium alloy, a titanium alloy, or a copper alloy. It is understood that stainless steel and titanium alloy are materials with a high modulus and exhibit good load-bearing capacity. The aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, and copper alloy exhibit good thermal conductivity. The support element 20 can, as far as possible, meet the requirements for weight, modulus of elasticity, stiffness, and thermal conductivity through material selection and structural design.
[0173] As in Fig. 6 to Fig. As shown in Figure 8, the scoreboard 10 includes a first display area 11, a second display area 12, a third display area 13, a fourth display area 14, and a fifth display area 15, which are connected sequentially in the X-axis direction. In other words, the second display area 12 is connected between the first display area 11 and the third display area 13. The fourth display area 14 is connected between the third display area 13 and the fifth display area 15. It is understood that in Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 the first display area 11, the second display area 12, the third display area 13, the fourth display area 14 and the fifth display area 15 can be schematically distinguished by using dashed lines.
[0174] As in Fig. 6 to Fig. As shown in Figure 8, the support element 20 comprises a first fastening part 21, a first curved part 22, a second fastening part 23, a second curved part 24, and a third fastening part 25, which are connected sequentially in the X-axis direction. In other words, the first curved part 22 is connected between the first fastening part 21 and the second fastening part 23. The second fastening part 23 is connected between the first curved part 22 and the second curved part 24. The second curved part 24 is connected between the second fastening part 23 and the third fastening part 25.It is understood that, although an arrangement direction of parts of the support element 20 is the same as an arrangement direction of parts of the display panel 10, within an area of a process error or tolerance the arrangement direction of the parts of the support element 20 may differ from the arrangement direction of the parts of the display panel 10, i.e. the two arrangement directions are not strictly parallel to each other.
[0175] It is understood that the first fastening part 21, the first curved part 22, the second fastening part 23, the second curved part 24, and the third fastening part 25 have an integral structure; that is, the support element 20 is an integrally formed mechanical part. In this case, the connection strength between the first fastening part 21, the first curved part 22, the second fastening part 23, the second curved part 24, and the third fastening part 25 is good. Additionally, the first fastening part 21, the first curved part 22, the second fastening part 23, the second curved part 24, and the third fastening part 25 are formed in a small number of stages, thus reducing the cost of preparing the support element 20.In another implementation, the first fastening part 21, the first bent part 22, the second fastening part 23, the second bent part 24 and the third fastening part 25 can alternatively be formed by welding or connected by snap-fit connection.
[0176] Fig. 9 is a diagram of a structure of the in Fig. 5 Display module 100 shown according to an implementation.
[0177] See Fig. 9. With reference to Fig. 6 to Fig. In section 8, the support element 20 is attached to a non-display area of the scoreboard 10. For example, a first surface 21a of the first mounting part 21 of the support element 20 is attached to the first display area 11 of the scoreboard 10. A first surface 22a of the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 is attached to the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10. A first surface 23a of the second mounting part 23 of the support element 20 is attached to the third display area 13 of the scoreboard 10. A first surface 24a of the second curved part 24 of the support element 20 is attached to the fourth display area 14 of the scoreboard 10. A first surface 25a of the third mounting part 25 of the support element 20 is attached to the fifth display area 15 of the scoreboard 10. In this way, the first mounting part 21 is arranged opposite the first display area 11. The first curved part 22 is arranged opposite the second display area 12.The second fastening part 23 is arranged opposite the third display area 13. The second curved part 24 is arranged opposite the fourth display area 14. The third fastening part 25 is arranged opposite the fifth display area 15. It is understood that, as in . Fig. Figure 6 shows that when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state, the first surface 21a of the first fastening part 21, the first surface 22a of the first curved part 22, the first surface 23a of the second fastening part 23, the first surface 24a of the second curved part 24 and the first surface 25a of the third fastening part 25 can be located on the same surface.
[0178] It is understood that the first display area 11 of the display panel 10 and the first fastening part 21 of the support element 20 form a section of the first part 100A (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) of the display module 100. The second display area 12 of the display panel 10 and the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 can form a section of the second part 100B (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) of the display module 100. The third display area 13 of the display panel 10 and the second mounting part 23 of the support element 20 can form a section of the third part 100C (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) of the display module 100. The fourth display area 14 of the display panel 10 and the second curved part 24 of the support element 20 can form a section of the fourth part 100D (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) of the display module 100. The fifth display area 15 of the display panel 10 and the third mounting part 25 of the support element 20 can form a section of the fifth part 100E (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) of the display module 100.
[0179] It is understood that the support element 20 can be configured to provide a rigid support for the scoreboard 10 in order to improve the support strength of the scoreboard 10. Additionally, the support element 20 can also be bent under external force while maintaining a certain degree of stiffness. In other words, the support element 20 also exhibits a certain degree of flexibility. The following section describes, in particular, the structure of the support element 20 with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0180] See Fig. 9. With reference to Fig. 6 to Fig. 8 is a second surface 21b of the first fastening part 21 attached to the first housing 210 (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) A second surface 23b of the second mounting part 23 is attached to the second housing 220 (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) A second surface 25b of the third fastening part 25 is attached to the third housing 230 (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) A first surface 21a of the first mounting part 21 is opposite the second surface 21b of the first mounting part 21. A first surface 23a of the second mounting part 23 is opposite the second surface 23b of the second mounting part 23. A first surface 25a of the third mounting part 25 is opposite the second surface 25b of the third mounting part 25. It is understood that the second surface 21b of the first mounting part 21 can be attached to the first housing 210 by the first adhesive layer 1 (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) The second surface 23b of the second fastening part 23 can be attached to the second housing 220 by the second adhesive layer 2 (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) The second surface 25b of the third fastening part 25 can be attached to the third housing 230 by the third adhesive layer 3 (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) One way of arranging the first adhesive layer 1, the second adhesive layer 2 and the third adhesive layer 3 is described above with reference to Fig. Section 4 is described in detail. Details are not described again here.
[0181] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 6, both the display panel 10 and the support element 20 can be in the unfolded state when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state. For example, the first display area 11, the second display area 12, the third display area 13, the fourth display area 14, and the fifth display area 15 of the display panel 10 can be approximately 180° (a slight deviation, for example, 165°, 177°, or 185°, is permissible). Additionally, the first mounting part 21, the first curved part 22, the second mounting part 23, the second curved part 24, and the third mounting part 25 of the support element 20 can form a plate-like structure. In other words, the first fastening part 21, the first curved part 22, the second fastening part 23, the second curved part 24 and the third fastening part 25 can be approximately 180° (a slight deviation, for example 165°, 177° or 185°, is permissible).
[0182] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 7, the display panel 10 can be in the first folded state when the electronic device 1000 is in the first folded state. The first display area 11, the second display area 12, the third display area 13, the fourth display area 14, and the fifth display area 15 of the display panel 10 are all located on an outer surface of the electronic device 1000. For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first folded state, the first display area 11, the second display area 12, and the third display area 13 of the display panel 10 can be approximately 180° (a slight deviation, for example, 165°, 177°, or 185°, is permissible), the fourth display area 14 is curved, and the fifth display area 15 and the third display area 13 are positioned close together. In this case, the third part 100C and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 can be arranged in the Z-axis direction.
[0183] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 7, the support element 20 can be in the first folded state when the electronic device 1000 is in the first folded state. For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in the first folded state, the first mounting part 21, the first bent part 22, and the second mounting part 23 form a plate-like structure; in other words, the first mounting part 21, the first bent part 22, and the second mounting part 23 can be at approximately 180° (a slight deviation, for example, 165°, 177°, or 185°, is permissible). Additionally, the second bent part 24 is bent, and the third mounting part 25 and the second mounting part 23 are positioned close together. In this case, the third mounting part 25 and the second mounting part 23 can be stacked in the Z-axis direction.
[0184] As in Fig. 8 and Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the display panel 10 can be in the second folded state when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state. The first display area 11, the second display area 12, and the third display area 13 of the display panel 10 are located inside the electronic device 1000, while the fifth display area 15 and at least a portion of the fourth display area 14 of the display panel 10 are located on the outside of the electronic device 1000. For example, the first display area 11 and the third display area 13 of the display panel 10 are arranged close together, and the third display area 13 and the fifth display area 15 of the display panel 10 are arranged close together. In this case, the first display area 11, the third display area 13, and the fifth display area 15 of the display panel 10 can be arranged in the Z-axis direction.Additionally, the second display area 12 and the fourth display area 14 of the scoreboard 10 are curved.
[0185] Additionally, the support element 20 can be in the second folded state when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state. For example, the first fastening part 21 and the second fastening part 23 of the support element 20 are arranged close together, and the second fastening part 23 and the third fastening part 25 of the support element 20 are arranged close together. In this case, the first fastening part 21, the second fastening part 23, and the third fastening part 25 of the support element 20 can be stacked in the Z-axis direction. Additionally, the first bent part 22 and the second bent part 24 of the support element 20 are bent. The first fastening part 21, the first bent part 22, and the second fastening part 23 of the support element 20 form a receiving space 26.The first display area 11, the second display area 12 and the third display area 13 of the display panel 10 are located in the receiving space 26. In addition, the fifth display area 15 and at least a section of the fourth display area 14 are located outside the second curved part 24 and the third mounting part 25.
[0186] See Fig. 9. With reference to Fig. 6 to Fig. For example, the stiffness of the first fastening part 21, the stiffness of the second fastening part 23, and the stiffness of the third fastening part 25 are greater than the stiffness of the first bent part 22 and the stiffness of the second bent part 24. In other words, the first bent part 22 has a minimum stiffness compared to the first fastening part 21, the first bent part 22, the second fastening part 23, and the third fastening part 25. Thus, the stiffness of the second part 100B (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) of the display module 100, which includes the first curved part 22 and the second display area 12, is small. In this case, it is more likely that the second part 100B (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) of the display module 100 is bent and is arranged in the receiving space 3104 (see Fig. 4 and Fig. 5) when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state. Additionally, the second curved part 24 below the first mounting part 21, the second mounting part 23, the second curved part 24, and the third mounting part 25 has minimal stiffness. Thus, the stiffness of the fourth part 100D of the display module 100, which includes the second curved part 24 and the fourth display area 14, is low. In this case, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 is more likely to bend when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state. It is understood that the stiffness settings of the first mounting part 21, the second mounting part 23, the third mounting part 25, the first curved part 22, and the second curved part 24 are specifically described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0187] In some implementations, the width of a first bent main part 223 is greater than the width of a first bent lower part 221 in the X-axis direction. The width of the first bent main part 223 is greater than the width of a second bent lower part 225. This helps to reduce the overall stiffness of the first bent part 22.
[0188] Fig. 10 is an enlarged view of the in Fig. 6 shown support element 20 at M1 according to an implementation. Fig. 11 is an enlarged view of the in Fig. 8 shown support element 20 at M2 according to an implementation.
[0189] As in Fig. 11 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, the first curved part 22 comprises the first curved lower part 221, a first connecting part 222, the first curved main part 223, a second connecting part 224, and a second curved lower part 225, arranged sequentially along the X-axis. In other words, the first connecting part 222 is located between the first curved lower part 221 and the first curved main part 223. The first curved main part 223 is connected between the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224. The second connecting part 224 is located between the first curved main part 223 and the second curved lower part 225. Additionally, the first curved lower part 221 is connected to the first fastening part 21. The second curved lower part 225 is connected to the second fastening part 23.It is understood that, although an arrangement direction of parts of the first bent part 22 is the same as an arrangement direction of parts of the display panel 10, within a range of process error or tolerance, the arrangement direction of the parts of the first bent part 22 may differ from the arrangement direction of the parts of the display panel 10; that is, the two arrangement directions are not strictly parallel to each other. Alternatively, in another implementation, the first bent part 22 may not include the second connecting part 224 and / or the second bent lower part 225. Furthermore, in another implementation, the first bent part 22 may include a sixth bent lower part, ..., and an Mth bent lower part.
[0190] It is understood that the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 can be the same or similar structures, symmetrical or partially symmetrical structures, or different structures. In this implementation, the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 are symmetrical structures. For details of a basic component structure design of the second bent lower part 225, a design of a connection relationship between components and a design of a connection relationship between a component and another structure other than the component refer to a related solution of the first bent lower part 221. Additionally, the second bent lower part 225 and the first bent lower part 221 may differ slightly in a detailed structure or a positional arrangement of components. It is understood that the first curved lower part 221 and the second curved lower part 225 are symmetrical structures. Therefore, the following uses the first curved lower part 221 as an example for description, and a specific structure of the second curved lower part 225 is not described again here.
[0191] Additionally, the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 can be the same or similar structures, symmetrical or partially symmetrical structures, or different structures. In this implementation, the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 are symmetrical structures. For details of a basic component structure design of the second connecting part 224, a design of a connection relationship between components and a design of a connection relationship between a component and another structure other than the component refer to a related solution of the first connecting part 222. Additionally, the second connecting part 224 and the first connecting part 222 can differ slightly in a detailed structure or a positional arrangement of components. It is understood that the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 are symmetrical structures. Therefore, the first connecting part 222 is used as an example for the following description, and a specific structure of the second connecting part 224 is not described again here.
[0192] See Fig. 10. With reference to Fig. 7. When the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state or the first folded state, the first bent lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first bent main part 223, the second connecting part 224, and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22 can form a plate-like structure. In other words, the first bent lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first bent main part 223, the second connecting part 224, and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22 can be approximately 180° (a slight deviation, for example 165°, 177°, or 185°, is permissible).
[0193] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 11, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, the first bent main part 223 bends in a folding direction, the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 bend away from the folding direction, and the receiving space 27 is formed jointly by the first bent lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first bent main part 223, the second connecting part 224, and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22. The receiving space 27 is configured to hold at least one section of the second display area 12 (see Figure 11). Fig. 8) to accommodate. It is understood that when the electronic device 1000 switches between the first folded state and the second folded state (i.e., in a process in which the electronic device 1000 is relatively unfolded or folded), the first bent main part 223 bends in the folding direction, and the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 bend away from the folding direction. In other words, the bending directions of the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 differ from the bending direction of the first bent main part 223.
[0194] As in Fig. 11 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222. The stiffness of the first bent main part 223 is less than the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221. Thus, the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 is also less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222. In other words, the first connecting part 222 exhibits maximum stiffness below the first bent lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, and the first bent main part 223, and the first bent main part 223 exhibits minimum stiffness. It is understood that there are multiple implementations in a solution where the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222.
[0195] In one implementation, the material of the first bent lower part 221 is the same as the material of the first connecting part 222. In one solution, both the first bent lower part 221 and the first connecting part 222 are provided with through holes or grooves. A through hole is used as an example for description. In this case, a quantity of holes of the first bent lower part 221 can be set to differ from a quantity of through holes of the first connecting part 222, and a size of the through hole of the first bent lower part 221 can be set to differ from a size of the through hole of the first connecting part 222, and / or a shape of the through hole of the first bent lower part 221 differs from a shape of the through hole of the first connecting part 222, so that the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222.In another solution, the first bent lower part 221 can be provided with a through hole or a groove, and the first connecting part 222 has no through hole or groove, so that the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222. In yet another solution, neither the first bent lower part 221 nor the first connecting part 222 has a through hole or a groove. In this case, the thickness of the first bent lower part 221 can be set to be less than the thickness of the first connecting part 222, and / or the weight per unit volume of the first bent lower part 221 can be set to be less than the weight per unit volume of the first connecting part 222. In this way, the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222.
[0196] In one implementation, the material of the first bent lower part 221 can be configured to differ from the material of the first connecting part 222, such that the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is lower than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222. For example, the material of the first bent lower part 221 is a flexible material (e.g., rubber), and the material of the first connecting part 222 is a metallic material (e.g., stainless steel). In another implementation, the material of the first bent lower part 221 is configured to differ from the material of the first connecting part 222 in one aspect, and in another aspect, the first bent lower part 221 and / or the first connecting part 222 are provided with a hole. In this way, the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is lower than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222.
[0197] Similarly, there are also multiple implementations in a solution where the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 is less than the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221. For this implementation, we refer to a solution where the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222. For example, the thickness of the first bent main part 223 may be set to be less than the thickness of the first bent lower part 221, and / or the weight per unit volume of the first bent main part 223 may be set to be less than the weight per unit volume of the first bent lower part 221. Details are not described again specifically here.
[0198] Similarly, there are also multiple implementations in a solution where the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222. For this implementation, we refer to a solution where the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222. For example, the thickness of the first bent main part 223 may be set to be less than the thickness of the first connecting part 222, and / or the weight per unit volume of the first bent main part 223 may be set to be less than the weight per unit volume of the first connecting part 222. Details are not described again specifically here.
[0199] Additionally, the stiffness of both the first and second fastening parts of the support element is greater than the stiffness of the first curved part of the support element. Therefore, the stiffness of both the first and second fastening parts of the support element is also greater than the stiffness of the first curved main part 223 of the first curved part of the support element. It is understood that there are also multiple implementations in a solution where the stiffness of both the first and second fastening parts of the support element is greater than the stiffness of the first curved main part 223 of the first curved part of the support element. For this implementation, we refer to a solution where the stiffness of the first curved lower part 221 is less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222. Details are not described again specifically here.
[0200] In the following, the structures of the first curved lower part 221, the first connecting part 222 and the first curved main part 223 are described in particular with reference to the associated accompanying drawings according to an implementation.
[0201] As in Fig. 11 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, in one implementation the first curved lower part 221 of the first curved part 22 is provided with a plurality of rows of first through-hole groups 226. The plurality of rows of first through-hole groups 226 can be arranged from the top to the bottom of the first curved lower part 221, that is, the plurality of rows of first through-hole groups 226 can be arranged in the Y-axis direction. The first through-hole group 226 includes a plurality of first through-holes 2261, which are spaced apart from one another. The plurality of first through-holes 2261 can be spaced apart from the left part to the right part of the first curved lower part 221, that is, the plurality of first through-holes 2261 can be spaced apart from one another in the X-axis direction. It is understood that Fig. 11 schematically provides a first through-hole group 226 in a row by using a rectangular frame to clearly distinguish the first through-hole group 226 in each row.
[0202] For example, the first through hole 2261 penetrates two plate surfaces of the first curved lower part 221 in the Z-axis direction.
[0203] With reference to Fig. In this application, the first through-hole groups 226 are arranged throughout the entire area of the first curved lower part 221; that is, the first through-hole groups 226 are arranged in both the end part and the middle part of the first curved lower part 221. Alternatively, in another implementation, the first through-hole group 226 may be arranged in a partial area of the first curved lower part 221. For example, the first through-hole group 226 may be arranged only in the middle part of the first curved lower part 221. This is not specifically restricted in this application.
[0204] In this implementation, two adjacent rows of first through-hole groups 226 can be spaced apart in the Y-axis direction. In other words, there is a distance between the two adjacent rows of first through-hole groups 226 in the Y-axis direction. Additionally, the majority of first through-holes 2261 of the first through-hole group 226 are staggered. For example, a first through-hole 2261 of one first through-hole group 226 can be located between two adjacent first through-holes 2261 of another first through-hole group 226. In another implementation, a majority of first through-holes 2261 of two adjacent rows of first through-hole groups 226 can alternatively be staggered, opposite, partially opposite, partially staggered, or arranged in some other way.
[0205] As in Fig. 11 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, for example, the first through-hole 2261 is rod-shaped. A longitudinal direction of the first through-hole 2261 can be a Y-axis. It is understood that the longitudinal direction of the first through-hole 2261 can be a longitudinal direction of an opening of the first through-hole 2261 on the plate surface of the support element 20. For a longitudinal direction of a hole below, refer to a definition of the direction of extension of the first through-hole 2261. Details are not described again. It is understood that a shape of the first through-hole 2261 can alternatively be a dumbbell shape, a rhombus shape, a square shape, a waisted circle shape, or the like. This is not specifically restricted in this application.
[0206] In another implementation, the first curved lower part 221 of the first curved part 22 is provided with a plurality of rows of first groove groups. The plurality of rows of first groove groups includes a plurality of first grooves. An opening of a first groove can form an opening on the second surface 22b (see Fig. 8) of the first curved part 22. In this way, the first groove can be located away from the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10 (see Fig. 8) Certainly, in another implementation, the opening of the first groove can be an opening on the first surface 22a (see Fig. 8) of the first curved part 22. This is not specifically limited in this application. The first surface 22a of the first curved part 22 and the second surface 22b of the first curved part 22 are arranged opposite each other. Additionally, for a type of arrangement of the plurality of first groove groups, refers to a type of arrangement of the plurality of rows of first through-hole groups 226. Details are not specifically described again herein.
[0207] As in Fig. 11 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, for example, a plurality of rows of second through-hole groups 227 can be arranged on at least one side edge of the first connecting part 222. The plurality of rows of second through-hole groups 227 can be arranged from the top to the middle part and / or from the bottom to the middle part. In this case, the plurality of rows of second through-hole groups 227 can be arranged in the Y-axis direction. The second through-hole group 227 includes a plurality of second through-holes 2271, which are spaced apart from one another. The plurality of second through-holes 2271 are spaced apart from one another from the left side to the right side of the first connecting part 222, that is, the plurality of second through-holes 2271 can be spaced apart from one another in the X-axis direction. It is understood that Fig. Figure 10 schematically provides a second group of through holes 227 in a row by using a rectangular frame to clearly distinguish the second group of through holes 227 in each row. Additionally, show Fig. 10 and Fig. 11 Both, that the first connecting part 222 is provided with two rows of second through-hole groups 227, there are three second through-holes 2271 in a first-row second through-hole group 227 and there are two second through-holes 2271 in a second-row second through-hole group 227. In another implementation, the number of rows of second through-hole groups 227 and the number of second through-holes 2271 in the second through-hole group 227 are not specifically restricted.
[0208] For example, the second through-hole 2271 penetrates two plate surfaces of the first connecting part 222 in the Z-axis direction.
[0209] As in Fig. 11 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, for example, the second through-hole 2271 is rod-shaped. One longitudinal direction of the second through-hole 2271 can be a Y-axis. It is understood that in another implementation, the shape of the second through-hole 2271 could alternatively be a dumbbell shape, a diamond shape, a square shape, a waist-circle shape, or the like. This is not specifically restricted in this application.
[0210] It is understood that, in contrast to a case where the first through-hole groups 226 are arranged throughout the entire area of the first bent lower part 221, a plurality of rows of second through-hole groups 227 are arranged on at least one side edge of the first connecting part 222; in other words, the central part of the first connecting part 222 is not provided with any second through-hole group 227. In this way, the first connecting part 222 has greater stiffness compared to the first bent lower part 221; that is, the stiffness of the first connecting part 222 is greater than the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221.
[0211] In this implementation, an arrangement of two adjacent rows of second through-hole groups 227 and an arrangement of the plurality of second through-holes 2271 of the second through-hole group 227 refer to an arrangement of two adjacent rows of first through-hole groups 226 and an arrangement of the plurality of first through-holes 2261 of the first through-hole group 226. Details are not described again here. It is understood that in another implementation, an arrangement of the second through-hole group 227 may alternatively differ from an arrangement of the first through-hole group 226, and an arrangement of the plurality of second through-holes 2271 of the second through-hole group 227 may differ from an arrangement of the plurality of first through-holes 2261 of the first through-hole group 226. Details are not described again here.
[0212] In another implementation, the first connecting part 222 can alternatively be provided with a plurality of rows of second groove groups. The plurality of rows of second groove groups includes a plurality of second grooves. An opening of a second groove can be an opening on the second surface 22b (see Fig. 8) of the first curved part 22. In this way, the second groove can be located away from the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10 (see Fig. 8) Certainly, in another implementation, the opening of the second groove can be an opening on the first surface 22a (see Fig. 8) of the first curved part 22. This is not specifically limited in this application. Additionally, for a type of arrangement of the plurality of rows of second groove groups, refers to a type of arrangement of the plurality of rows of second through-hole groups 227. Details are not specifically described again herein.
[0213] In another implementation, the first connecting part 222 can alternatively be a complete plate-like structure, that is, the first connecting part 222 is not provided with a second through-hole 2271.
[0214] Fig. 12 is an enlarged view of the in Fig. 10 shown support element 20 at M3 according to an implementation.
[0215] Referring to Fig. 12, with reference to Fig. 10 and Fig. 11, the first curved main part 223 of the first curved part 22 is provided with a plurality of rows of through-hole groups 228. The plurality of rows of through-hole groups 228 can be arranged from the top to the bottom of the first curved main part 223, that is, the plurality of rows of through-hole groups 228 can be arranged in the Y-axis direction. The through-hole group 228 includes a plurality of through-holes 2281, which are spaced apart from one another. The plurality of through-holes 2281 are spaced apart from one another from the left side to the right side of the first curved main part 223, that is, the plurality of through-holes 2281 can be spaced apart from one another in the X-axis direction. It is understood that Fig. Figure 12 shows three dashed lines, each with a double arrow. Through holes 2281, through which a dashed line aa with double arrows runs, form a through hole group 228 in a first row. Through holes 2281, through which a dashed line bb with double arrows runs, form a through hole group 228 in a second row. Through holes 2281, through which a dashed line cc with double arrows runs, form a through hole group 228 in a third row.
[0216] For example, the through-hole 2281 is rod-shaped. One longitudinal direction of the through-hole 2281 can be a Y-axis. In another implementation, the shape of the through-hole 2281 can alternatively be a dumbbell shape, a diamond shape, a square shape, a waist-circle shape, or the like. This is not specifically restricted in this application.
[0217] See Fig. 12. With reference to Fig. 10 and Fig. 11 penetrates the majority of through holes 2281 through two plate surfaces of the first curved main part 223 in the Z-axis direction. Additionally, the through hole group 228 in one row of the majority of rows of through hole groups 228 penetrates a first side edge 2231 of the first curved main part 223 in the Y-axis direction. The through hole group 228 in another row of the majority of rows of through hole groups 228 penetrates a second side edge 2232 of the first curved main part 223 in the Y-axis direction (see Fig. 6) The first side edge 2231 and the second side edge 2232 are two side edges of the first bent main part 223 and are arranged opposite each other in the Y-axis direction. In other words, the first side edge 2231 and the second side edge 2232 are arranged opposite each other and are aligned in the Y-axis direction. In this way, the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 can be further reduced.
[0218] See Fig. 12. With reference to Fig. 6. The through-hole groups 228 are arranged throughout the entire area of the first curved main part 223, that is, the through-hole groups 228 are arranged in both the end part and the middle part of the first curved main part 223. In another implementation, the through-hole group 228 can alternatively be arranged in a partial area of the first curved main part 223. For example, the through-hole group 228 is arranged only in the middle part of the first curved main part 223. This is not specifically restricted in this application.
[0219] For example, a plurality of through holes 2281 are staggered by two adjacent groups of through holes 228. In one implementation, an end portion of the through hole 2281 of the through hole group 228 in the second row may be located between two adjacent through holes 2281 of the through hole group 228 in the first row. Another end portion of the through hole 2281 of the through hole group 228 in the second row may be located between two adjacent through holes 2281 of the through hole group 228 in the third row. In other words, two upper and lower adjacent groups of through holes 228 can reuse a section of space in the Y-axis direction. In this embodiment, when the first bent main part 223 is cut in the X-axis direction, it is divided into a plurality of sections by the through-holes 2281; that is, the first bent main part 223 does not have a continuous section. In this case, the flexibility of the first bent main part 223 is further improved. Thus, in a process of unfolding or folding the electronic device 1000, the first bent main part 223 exhibits better flexibility. It is understood that, compared to the arrangement of the first through-hole groups 226 of the first bent lower part 221, the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 is lower; in other words, the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 is lower than that of the first bent lower part 221.
[0220] In another implementation, two adjacent groups of through holes 228 can alternatively be spaced apart from each other in the Y-axis direction. In another implementation, a plurality of through holes 2281 of two adjacent groups of through holes 228 can alternatively be staggered, arranged opposite each other, partially opposite each other, partially staggered, or in another arrangement.
[0221] See Fig. 12. With reference to Fig. 10 and Fig. For example, in the X-axis direction, the distance between two adjacent through holes 2281 is less than the distance between two adjacent first through holes 2261. Therefore, the through holes 2281 of the first bent main part 223 are closely spaced. The stiffness of the first bent main part 223 is low; that is, the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 is also less than the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221.
[0222] In another implementation, the first curved lower part 221 of the first curved part 22 is provided with a plurality of rows of third groove groups. An opening of a third groove can form an opening on the second surface 22b (see Fig. 8) of the first curved part 22. In this way, the third groove can be located away from the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10 (see Fig. 8) Certainly, in another implementation, the opening of the third groove can be an opening on the first surface 22a (see Fig. 8) of the first curved part 22. This is not specifically limited in this application. Additionally, the plurality of rows of third groove groups includes a plurality of third grooves. For a type of arrangement of the plurality of third groove groups, refers to a type of arrangement of the plurality of rows of through-hole groups 228. Details are not specifically described again herein.
[0223] Fig. 13 is a partial sectional view of the Fig. 1 shown electronic device 1000 on a BB line according to an implementation. Fig. 14A is a partially enlarged view of the in Fig. 5 shown electronic device 1000 at M4 according to an implementation.
[0224] As in Fig. 13 and Fig. As shown in Figure 14A, the first curved lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first curved main part 223, the second connecting part 224, and the second curved lower part 225 of the first curved part 22 are attached to different areas of a non-display surface of the second display area 12 of the display panel 10. In one aspect, the first curved part 22 can improve the stiffness of the second display area 12 to enhance its crush resistance and impact resistance when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state. In another aspect, the first curved part 22 exhibits different stiffness in different areas. In this way, the first curved part 22 can meet different bending requirements of the second display area 12 in different areas when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state. It goes without saying that in . Fig. 13 the first curved lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first curved main part 223, the second connecting part 224 and the second curved lower part 225 are schematically divided by using different dashed lines.
[0225] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 13, the first curved lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first curved main part 223, the second connecting part 224, and the second curved lower part 225 of the first curved part 22 support different areas of the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state or in the first folded state. The first curved part 22 can be configured to improve the stiffness of the second display area 12 of the display panel 10. In this way, if the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 is pressed or squeezed, it has sufficient strength to withstand the compressive and crushing forces, thus preventing problems such as crushing in the second display area 12 of the display panel 10.
[0226] For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in its unfolded state or in its first folded state, the first hinge structure 3103, the first inwardly folding panel 3101, and the second inwardly folding panel 3102 of the inwardly folding mechanism 310 unfold relative to each other, and both the first inwardly folding panel 3101 and the second inwardly folding panel 3102 are stacked with the first curved part 22. The first curved part 22 of the support element 20, which is located above the first inwardly folding panel 3101, the second inwardly folding panel 3102, and the first hinge structure 3103, is configured to support the second display area 12 of the display panel 10.In this way, the support of the first inwardly folding plate 3101, the second inwardly folding plate 3102 and the first hinge structure 3103 can further improve the crush resistance and shock resistance of the second display area 12 when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state.
[0227] For example, when the electronic device 1000 is in its unfolded state or in its first folded state, the first hinge structure 3103, the first inwardly folding plate 3101, and the second inwardly folding plate 3102 together support the first curved main part 223 of the first curved part 22. The first inwardly folding plate 3101 can further be configured to support at least one section of the first curved lower part 221 and the first connecting part 222. The second inwardly folding plate 3102 can further be configured to support the second connecting part 224 and at least one section of the second curved lower part 225.For example, a section of the first curved lower part 221 faces the first housing 210, a section of the first curved lower part 221 faces between the first housing 210 and the first inwardly folding panel 3101, and a section of the first curved lower part 221 faces the first inwardly folding panel 3101. At least one section of the first connecting part 222 faces the first inwardly folding panel 3101. At least one section of the first curved main part 223 faces the first hinge structure 3103. One section of the second curved lower part 225 faces the second housing 220, one section of the second curved lower part 225 faces between the second housing 220 and the second inwardly foldable plate 3102, and one section of the second curved lower part 225 faces the second inwardly foldable plate 3102.At least one section of the second connecting part 224 faces the second inwardly foldable plate 3102.
[0228] See Fig. 14A. With reference to Fig. 11 When the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, the first inwardly folding plate 3101 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102 are located close to each other, the receiving space 3104 is enclosed by the first inwardly folding plate 3101, the second inwardly folding plate 3102 and the first hinge structure 3103, and both the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 and the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 have a curved shape. Additionally, the second display area 12, the first curved lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first curved main part 223, the second connecting part 224, and the second curved lower part 225 are all located in the receiving space 3104. The first curved main part 223 of the first curved part 22 is bent in a direction close to the first hinge structure 3103 (that is, bent in a folding direction). In this way, the first curved lower part 221 and the second curved lower part 225 of the first curved part 22 are located close to each other, and the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 of the first curved part 22 are also located close to each other. Additionally, both the first curved lower part 221 and the second curved lower part 225 of the first curved part 22 are bent away from the folding direction, so that the first fastening part 21 and the second fastening part 23 are close to each other. In this case, the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10 can be bent into a shape with a small volume (for example, a teardrop shape). In other words, the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 can be accommodated in a smaller volume within the receiving space 3104 of the inwardly folding mechanism 310. For example, a section of the first curved lower part 221 faces the first housing 210, a section of the first curved lower part 221 faces between the first housing 210 and the first inwardly folding panel 3101, a section of the first curved lower part 221 faces the first inwardly folding panel 3101, at least one section of the first connecting part 222 faces the first inwardly folding panel 3101, and at least one section of the first curved main part 223 faces the first hinge structure 3103.One section of the second curved lower part 225 faces the second housing 220, one section of the second curved lower part 225 faces between the second housing 220 and the second inwardly folding plate 3102, and one section of the second curved lower part 225 faces the second inwardly folding plate 3102. At least one section of the second connecting part 224 faces the second inwardly folding plate 3102.
[0229] See Fig. 13 and Fig. 14A. In this implementation, the first bent main part 223, below the first bent lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first bent main part 223, the second connecting part 224, and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22, has minimal stiffness, and therefore the first bent main part 223 has better bending ability, that is, the first bent main part 223 can be bent with a large amplitude when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state. In this way, the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 of the first bent part 22 can be arranged close together to a large extent, and the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22 can be arranged close together to a large extent. In this case, the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10 can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. In this way, the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 can better meet the bending requirement of the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10, so that the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10 can better fit into the receiving space 3104 of the inwardly folding mechanism 310.
[0230] Additionally, in this implementation, the stiffness of the first bent lower section 221 of the first bent part 22 is set to be less than the stiffness of the first connecting section 222 of the first bent part 22, and the stiffness of the second bent lower section 225 of the first bent part 22 is less than the stiffness of the second connecting section 224 of the first bent part 22, so that both the first bent lower section 221 and the second bent lower section 225 of the first bent part 22 have a specific bending capability. In this case, the middle part of the first bent lower section 221 of the first bent part 22 can be bent in a direction close to the second bent lower section 225 (that is, bent away from the folding direction). The middle part of the second curved lower section 225 of the first curved section 22 can be bent in a direction close to the first curved lower section 221 (that is, bent away from the folding direction). Furthermore, the first curved lower section 221 and the second curved lower section 225 of the first curved section 22 can be arranged close to each other, and the first connecting section 222 and the second connecting section 224 of the first curved section 22 can also be arranged close to each other. In this case, the first curved section 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume. In other words, the first curved section 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 can be accommodated in the receiving space 3104 of the inwardly folding mechanism 310 in a smaller volume. In this way, the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 can better meet the bending requirement of the second display area 12 of the display panel 10, so that the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 can better fit into the receiving space 3104 of the inwardly folding mechanism 310.
[0231] It is understood that in some implementations, the width of the first curved main part 223 in the X-axis direction is greater than the width of the first curved lower part 221. In this way, the overall stiffness of the first curved part 22 is reduced, so that the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10 can be bent into a shape with a smaller volume, and the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 and the second display area 12 of the scoreboard 10 can be accommodated in the smaller volume receiving space 3104 of the inwardly folding mechanism 310.
[0232] For example, in a folding process of the electronic device 1000, the first inwardly foldable plate 3101 can exert a force on the first bent lower part 221 of the first bent part 22, and the second inwardly foldable plate 3102 can exert a force on the second bent lower part 225 of a second support plate. In this case, the middle part of the first bent lower part 221 of the first bent part 22 can be bent in a direction close to the second bent lower part 225 (that is, bent away from the folding direction). The middle part of the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22 can be bent in a direction close to the first bent lower part 221 (that is, bent away from the folding direction). In another implementation, a different component of the inwardly folding mechanism 310 can also be used to exert a force on the first curved lower part 221 of the first curved part 22. A different component of the inwardly folding mechanism 310 can also be used to exert a force on the second curved lower part 225 of the second support plate. This is not specifically limited in this application.
[0233] With reference to Fig. 10 and Fig. 11. It is understood that, compared to a solution where the first connecting part 222 is not provided with a second set of through holes 227, in this implementation a plurality of rows of second sets of through holes 227 are arranged on at least one side edge of the first connecting part 222. In this way, the stiffness of the first connecting part 222 is reduced, that is, the first connecting part 222 exhibits a specific flexibility. In this case, the stiffness of the first connecting part 222 can provide a transition function between the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 and the stiffness of the first bent main part 223. In other words, the stiffness of a connection area between the first bent lower part 221 and the first bent main part 223 is not high. The stiffness of the first bent lower part 221, the stiffness of the first connecting part 222, and the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 are continuous. This makes it less likely that a bump with a large bending amplitude will be created on a side edge of the first connecting part 222 if the electronic device 1000 is struck by an impact, thus ensuring that the first connecting part 222 can recover after the impact; that is, that the first connecting part 222 is unlikely to be damaged. In other words, it is unlikely that the support element 20 will fold if the electronic device 1000 is struck by an impact.
[0234] Additionally, in the first connecting part 222, the second sets of through holes 227 of the first connecting part 222 are spaced apart from each other at the side edge of the first connecting part 222; in other words, the second set of through holes 227 of the first connecting part 222 does not penetrate the side edge of the first connecting part 222. In this way, it is unlikely that the stiffness of the first connecting part 222 will be significantly reduced. The stiffness of the first connecting part 222 provides a smooth transition between the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 and the stiffness of the first bent main part 223. In other words, the stiffness of a connection area between the first bent lower part 221 and the first bent main part 223 is not low.In this case, the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221, the stiffness of the first connecting part 222, and the stiffness of the first bent main part 223 are more continuous.
[0235] See Fig. 13 and Fig. 14A. For example, the first inwardly foldable plate 3101 can be attached to the first connecting part 222 of the first curved part 22 by an adhesive layer (not shown in the figure). The second inwardly foldable plate 3102 can also be attached to the second connecting part 224 of the first curved part 22 by an adhesive layer (not shown in the figure). In this way, in a folding process of the electronic device 1000, both the first inwardly foldable plate 3101 and the second inwardly foldable plate 3102 can be drawn by the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 to pull the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 inwards (i.e., to be bent in a direction near the first hinge structure 3103), and therefore the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 is prevented from bulging in a direction away from the first hinge structure 3103, i.e., the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 is prevented from bulging. Additionally, in a process of unfolding the electronic device 1000, both the first inwardly foldable plate 3101 and the second inwardly foldable plate 3102 can drive the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 to unfold through the first curved part 22 of the support element 20.
[0236] It is understood that the first inwardly foldable plate 3101 is attached to the first connecting part 222 of the first bent part 22 by an adhesive layer (not shown in the figure), and the second inwardly foldable plate 3102 is attached to the second connecting part 224 of the first bent part 22 by an adhesive layer (not shown in the figure). Thus, when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state or the folded state (including the first folded state and the second folded state), neither the first connecting part 222 nor the second connecting part 224 of the first bent part 22 is bent; in other words, both the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 of the first bent part 22 are not bent parts. In another implementation, when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded or folded state (including the first folded state and the second folded state), the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 of the first bent part 22 can be bent. The bending direction is not specifically restricted. For example, if the first inwardly folding plate 3101 is not connected to the first connecting part 222 of the first bent part 22, and the first outwardly folding plate is not connected to the second connecting part 224 of the first bent part 22, the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 can be bent by bending the first bent lower part 221, the first bent main part 223, and the second bent lower part 225.
[0237] Fig. 14B is a diagram of a positional relationship between the in Fig. 10 shown support element 20 and the first housing 210, the second housing 220 and the first folding mechanism 310.
[0238] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 14B, for example, the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 is provided with a first recessed area 28 ( Fig. Figure 10 also shows the first recessed area 28). The first recessed area 28 can be formed by recessing a side edge of the first curved part 22 towards the middle part of the first curved part 22. In other words, the first recessed area 28 forms an opening at the side edge of the first curved part 22.
[0239] For example, there can be two first recessed areas 28. One is located at an upper end part of the first curved part 22 and the other is located at a lower end part of the first curved part 22. Fig. Figure 10 shows only the first recessed area 28 at the lower end part of the first curved part 22 in Fig. 6. Alternatively, in another implementation, a first recessed area 28 may be present. A first recessed area 28 may be located at the upper end part or the lower end part of the first curved part 22.
[0240] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 14B, the first recessed area 28 can be used to accommodate a section of an end part of the first foldable mechanism 310 (for example, a section of an end cover of the first foldable mechanism 310, also referred to as part of a T-shaped part). In other words, a section of the end part of the first foldable mechanism 310 can be located in the first recessed area 28. In this way, the first foldable mechanism 310 can utilize a space of the support element 20 in the Y-axis direction, meaning that the first foldable mechanism 310 and the support element 20 have an overlap area in the Y-axis direction. This helps to reduce the black edge area of the electronic device 1000, thus supporting the electronic device 1000 in implementing a narrow bezel design.
[0241] For example, the first recessed area 28 can extend from the first curved lower part 221 to the second curved lower part 225. In other words, the first recessed area 28 forms an opening on a side edge of the first curved lower part 221, a side edge of the first connecting part 222, a side edge of the first curved main part 223, a side edge of the second connecting part 224, and a side edge of the second curved lower part 225. In this case, the first recessed area 28 is large, and the first folding mechanism 310 can utilize more space of the support element 20 in the Y-axis direction. This helps to reduce the black-edged area of the electronic device 1000, that is, it helps to implement a narrow bezel design for the electronic device 1000.In another implementation, the arrangement position of the first recessed area 28 is not specifically restricted; for example, the first recessed area 28 can form an opening on a side edge of the first bent lower part 221 and / or a side edge of the first connecting part 222 and / or a side edge of the first bent main part 223. In other words, the first recessed area 28 can form an opening on any one, any two, or any all of the side edges of the first bent lower part 221, the side edge of the first connecting part 222, or the side edge of the first bent main part 223.
[0242] The following describes in particular the structures and connection relationships of the inwardly folding mechanism 310, the second display area 12 of the display panel 10, and the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following also describes in particular the structures and connection relationships of the outwardly folding mechanism 320, the fourth display area 14 of the display panel 10, and the second curved part 24 of the support element 20 with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0243] See Fig. 3 to Fig. 5. In one implementation, the outwardly folding mechanism 320 comprises a first outwardly folding plate 3201, a second outwardly folding plate 3202, and a second hinge structure 3203. The first outwardly folding plate 3201, the second outwardly folding plate 3202, and the second hinge structure 3203 can be connected in a manner such as a rotatable or a sliding connection. This is not specifically restricted in this application.
[0244] In another implementation, the structure of the outwardly foldable mechanism 320 is not specifically restricted. For example, although Fig. 3 to Fig. Figure 5 merely shows that the outwardly folding mechanism 320 includes the first outwardly folding plate 3201 and the second outwardly folding plate 3202. In another implementation, the outwardly folding mechanism 320 may further include a third outwardly folding plate, ..., and an Nth outwardly folding plate, where N is an integer greater than 2.
[0245] See Fig. 4. With reference to Fig. 1. When the electronic device 1000 is unfolded into its unfolded state, the first outwardly folding plate 3201, the second outwardly folding plate 3202, and the second hinge structure 3203 can be unfolded relative to each other. In this case, the first outwardly folding plate 3201 can support the third part 100C of the display module 100. The second hinge structure 3203 can support the fourth part 100D of the display module 100. The second outwardly folding plate 3202 can support the fifth part 100E of the display module 100.In this way, when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state and the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 are subjected to a compressive force, a crushing force, an impact force or the like, the first outwardly foldable plate 3201, the second outwardly foldable plate 3202 and the second hinge structure 3203 can be configured to improve the compressive and impact resistance of the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E, in other words, it is ensured that the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E are not susceptible to a problem such as being crushed.
[0246] See Fig. 5. With reference to Fig. 3. When the electronic device 1000 is folded into the second folded state, the first outwardly folding plate 3201 and the second outwardly folding plate 3202 are located close to each other. In this case, the first outwardly folding plate 3201 can be configured to support the third part 100C of the display module 100. The second hinge structure 3203 can be configured to support the fourth part 100D of the curved display module 100. The second outwardly folding plate 3202 can be configured to support the fifth part 100E of the display module 100.In this way, when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state and the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 are subjected to a compressive force, a crushing force, an impact force or the like, the first outwardly foldable plate 3201, the second outwardly foldable plate 3202 and the second hinge structure 3203 can be configured to improve the compressive and impact resistance of the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E, in other words, it is ensured that the third part 100C, the fourth part 100D and the fifth part 100E are not susceptible to a problem such as being crushed.
[0247] See Fig. 4. When the electronic device 1000 is folded into the first folded state, the state of the outwardly folding mechanism 320 and the relationship between the outwardly folding mechanism 320 and the display module 100 are the same as the state of the outwardly folding mechanism 320 and the relationship between the outwardly folding mechanism 320 and the display module 100 when the electronic device 1000 is folded into the second folded state. Details are not specifically described again herein.
[0248] For example, the first outwardly folding panel 3201 can be attached to the third part 100C of the display module 100. The second hinge structure 3203 can be attached to the fourth part 100D of the display module 100. The second outwardly folding panel 3202 can be attached to the fifth part 100E of the display module 100. In this way, in a process of folding or unfolding the electronic device 1000, the first outwardly foldable plate 3201 can cause the third part 100C of the display module 100 to be folded or unfolded, the second hinge structure 3203 can cause the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 to be folded or unfolded, and the second outwardly foldable plate 3202 can cause the fifth part 100E of the display module 100 to be folded or unfolded.
[0249] It is understood that the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 is exposed regardless of whether the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state, the first folded state, or the second folded state. Therefore, the structural design of the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 must ensure sufficient rigidity so that, when subjected to a compressive force, crushing force, impact force, or the like, the fourth part 100D exhibits sufficient compressive and impact resistance to ensure that it is not susceptible to problems such as being crushed. Additionally, it must be ensured that the fourth part 100D has sufficient flexibility to allow the electronic device 1000 to bend during the unfolding or folding process. The following describes in particular the structure of the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0250] As in Fig. 6 to Fig. As shown in Figure 8, the stiffness of the first fastening part 21, the stiffness of the second fastening part 23, and the stiffness of the third fastening part 25 of the support element 20 are all greater than the stiffness of the second curved part 24 of the support element 20. In other words, the stiffness of the second curved part 24 of the support element 20 is less than the stiffness of the first fastening part 21 of the support element 20. The stiffness of the second curved part 24 of the support element 20 is less than the stiffness of the second fastening part 23 of the support element 20. The stiffness of the second curved part 24 of the support element 20 is also less than the stiffness of the third fastening part 25 of the support element 20. In other words, the second curved part 24 below the first fastening part 21, the second fastening part 23, the second curved part 24, and the The third fastening part 25 exhibits a minimum stiffness.
[0251] It is understood that the second curved part 24 below the first fastening part 21, the second fastening part 23, the second curved part 24, and the third fastening part 25 has minimal stiffness. Thus, the stiffness of the fourth part 100D of the display module 100, which includes the fourth display area 14 of the display panel 10 and the second curved part 24 of the support element 20, may be low. In this case, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 is more likely to bend when the electronic device 1000 is in the first folded state or the second folded state.
[0252] It is understood that there are multiple implementations in a solution where the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is less than the stiffness of the second fastening part 23.
[0253] In one implementation, the material of the second bent part 24 is the same as the material of the second fastening part 23. In one solution, the second bent part 24 may have a through hole or a groove, and the second fastening part 23 may not have a through hole or a groove, so that the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is less than the stiffness of the second fastening part 23. In another solution, both the second bent part 24 and the second fastening part 23 have through holes or grooves. An example in which both the second bent part 24 and the second fastening part 23 have through holes is used for description. In this case, the number of through holes in the second bent part 24 can differ from the number of through holes in the second fastening part 23, the size of the through hole in the second bent part 24 can differ from the size of the through hole in the second fastening part 23, and / or the shape of the through hole in the second bent part 24 differs from the shape of the through hole in the second fastening part 23, such that the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is less than the stiffness of the second fastening part 23. In another solution, both the second bent part 24 and the second fastening part 23 are provided with through holes. In this case, the thickness of the second bent part 24 can be set to be less than the thickness of the second fastening part 23, and / or the weight per unit volume of the second bent part 24 can be set to be less than the weight per unit volume of the second fastening part 23, so that the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is less than the stiffness of the second fastening part 23.
[0254] In one implementation, the material of the second bent part 24 can be configured to differ from the material of the second fastening part 23, such that the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is lower than that of the second fastening part 23. For example, the material of the second bent part 24 is a flexible material (e.g., rubber), and the material of the second fastening part 23 is a metallic material (e.g., stainless steel). In another implementation, the material of the second bent part 24 is configured to differ from that of the second fastening part 23, and the through-hole is provided in the second bent part 24, so that the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is lower than that of the second fastening part 23.
[0255] It is understood that there are also multiple implementations for a solution where the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is less than the stiffness of the third fastening part 25, and a solution where the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is less than the stiffness of the first fastening part 21. For this implementation, we refer to a solution where the stiffness of the second bent part 24 is less than the stiffness of the second fastening part 23. Details are not described again specifically here.
[0256] In the following, the structures of the second fastening part 23, the second curved part 24 and the third fastening part 25 are described in particular with reference to the associated accompanying drawings according to an implementation.
[0257] As in Fig. 6 to Fig. As shown in Figure 8, for example, none of the first fastening part 21, the second fastening part 23, and the third fastening part 25 are provided with a through hole, a groove, or the like. The first fastening part 21, the second fastening part 23, and the third fastening part 25 can each be a complete plate-like structure. In this way, the stiffness of the first fastening part 21, the stiffness of the second fastening part 23, and the stiffness of the third fastening part 25 are all high.
[0258] Fig. 15 is an enlarged view of the in Fig. 6 shown support element 20 at M5 according to an implementation. Fig. 16 is an enlarged view of the in Fig. 8 shown support element 20 at M6 according to an implementation.
[0259] As in Fig. 15 and Fig. As shown in Figure 16, the second curved part 24 is provided with a plurality of rows of penetration hole groups 245. The plurality of rows of penetration hole groups 245 can be spaced apart from one another in the Y-axis direction. The penetration hole group 245 includes a plurality of penetration holes 246, which are spaced apart from one another. The plurality of penetration holes 246 can be spaced apart from one another in the X-axis direction. It is understood that for one arrangement of the penetration hole groups 245 and one arrangement of the penetration holes 246, the arrangement of the through-hole groups 228 of the first curved main part 223 of the first curved part 22 and the arrangement of the through-holes 2281 refer to (see Figure 16). Fig. 10 to Fig. 12) Details are not described again specifically herein. In another implementation, the arrangement of the penetration hole groups 245 and the arrangement of the penetration holes 246 may also differ from the arrangement of the through hole groups 228 of the first curved main part 223 of the first curved part 22 and the arrangement of the through holes 2281 (see Fig. 10 to Fig. 12). For example, the distance between two adjacent holes can be flexibly adjusted according to a requirement.
[0260] For example, the penetration hole 246 is rod-shaped. One longitudinal direction of the penetration hole 246 can be the Y-axis. In another implementation, the shape of the penetration hole 246 can alternatively be a dumbbell shape, a diamond shape, a square shape, a waist-circle shape, or the like. This is not specifically limited in this application.
[0261] For example, the penetration hole 246 penetrates two plate surfaces of the second curved part 24 in the Z-axis direction.
[0262] As in Fig. 15 and Fig. As shown in Figure 16, for example, the majority of rows of penetration hole groups 245 include a first-row penetration hole group 245a and a last-row penetration hole group 245b. The first-row penetration hole group 245a is near a first side edge 2421 of the second curved part 24. The last-row penetration hole group 245b is near a second side edge 2422 of the second curved part 24.
[0263] It is understood that the first-row penetration hole group 245a and the last-row penetration hole group 245b can be the same or similar structures, symmetrical or partially symmetrical structures, or different structures. In this implementation, the first-row penetration hole group 245a and the last-row penetration hole group 245b are symmetrical structures. For a basic design of a component structure of the last-row penetration hole group 245b, a design of a connection relationship between components and a design of a connection relationship between a component and another structure other than the component refer to a related solution of the first-row penetration hole group 245a.Additionally, the first-row penetration hole group 245a and the last-row penetration hole group 245b may differ slightly in their detailed structure or component arrangement. It is understood that the first-row penetration hole group 245a and the last-row penetration hole group 245b are symmetrical structures. Therefore, the first-row penetration hole group 245a is used as an example for the following description, and the specific structure of the last-row penetration hole group 245b is not described again here.
[0264] The first-row penetration hole group 245a includes penetration holes of the first type 2451 and penetration holes of the second type 2452. The penetration holes of the second type 2452 are arranged on two sides of the penetration hole of the first type 2451. In addition, the penetration hole of the first type 2451 also penetrates the first side edge 2421 of the second curved part 24. The penetration holes of the second type 2452 are spaced apart from each other on the first side edge 2421 of the second curved part 24; in other words, the penetration hole of the second type 2452 does not penetrate the first side edge 2421 of the second curved part 24. It is understood that Fig. Figure 15 shows a dashed line dd with double arrows. Penetration holes 246, through which the dashed line dd with the double arrows passes, form the penetration holes of the first type 2451 of the first-row penetration hole group 245a.
[0265] It is understood that the penetration hole of the first type 2451 is arranged to penetrate the first side edge 2421 of the second bent part 24, such that the stiffness of the middle part of the first side edge 2421 of the second bent part 24 is low, meaning that the middle part of the first side edge 2421 of the second bent part 24 is more likely to bend. Additionally, the penetration hole of the second type 2452 is arranged not to penetrate the first side edge 2421 of the second bent part 24, so that the stiffness at both ends of the first side edge 2421 of the second bent part 24 is not low.In this way, it is unlikely that a bump with a large bending amplitude will be generated at both ends of the first side edge 2421 of the second bent part 24 if the electronic device 1000 is struck due to an impact, to ensure that the second bent part 24 can recover after the impact, that is, that the second bent part 24 is unlikely to be damaged. In other words, it is unlikely that the support element 20 will be folded if the electronic device 1000 is struck due to an impact.
[0266] In another implementation, the second curved part 24 is provided with a plurality of rows of groove groups. The plurality of rows of groove groups includes a plurality of grooves. An opening of the groove can form an opening on the second surface 24b (see Fig. 8) of the second curved part 24. In this way, the groove can be located away from the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 (see Fig. 8) Certainly, in another implementation, the opening of the groove can be an opening on the first surface 24a (see Fig. 8) of the second curved part 24. This is not specifically limited in this application. The first surface 24a of the second curved part 24 and the second surface 24b of the second curved part 24 are arranged opposite each other. Additionally, for a type of arrangement of the plurality of groove groups, refers to a type of arrangement of the plurality of rows of penetration hole groups 245. Details are not specifically described again herein.
[0267] Fig. 17 is a diagram of a positional relationship between the in Fig. 15 shown support element 20 and the second housing 220, the third housing 230 and the second folding mechanism 320.
[0268] See Fig. 17. As in Fig. 15 and Fig. As shown in Figure 16, for example, the second curved part 24 of the support element 20 is provided with a second recessed area 247. The second recessed area 247 can be formed by recessing a side edge of the second curved part 24 in the direction of the middle part of the second curved part 24. In other words, the second recessed area 247 can form an opening on the side edge of the second curved part 24.
[0269] For example, two second recessed areas 247 may be present. One is located at an upper end part of the second curved part 24 and the other is located at a lower end part of the second curved part 24. Fig. Figure 17 shows that both the upper end and the lower end of the second curved part 24 are provided with the second recessed areas 247. In another implementation, a second recessed area 247 may alternatively be present. A second recessed area 247 may be located on either the upper end or the lower end of the second curved part 24.
[0270] See Fig. 17. The second recessed area 247 can be used to accommodate a section of an end part of the second foldable mechanism 320 (for example, an end cover of the second foldable mechanism 320, also referred to as a T-shaped part). In other words, a section of the end part of the second foldable mechanism 320 can be located in the second recessed area 247. In this way, the second foldable mechanism 320 can utilize a space of the support element 20 in the Y-axis direction, meaning that the second foldable mechanism 320 and the support element 20 have an overlap area in the Y-axis direction. This helps to reduce the black edge area of the electronic device 1000, thus supporting the electronic device 1000 in implementing a narrow bezel design.
[0271] Fig. 18 is a diagram of a structure of the in Fig. 1 electronic device 1000 shown in a second folded state according to another implementation. Fig. 19 is a partial sectional view of the in Fig. 14A Display module 100 shown according to an implementation.
[0272] As in Fig. 18 and Fig. As shown in Figure 19, it is understood that, with reference to the accompanying drawings, it is specifically described below that the second folding mechanism 320 is an outwardly folding mechanism 320. In this implementation, the second folding mechanism 320 can alternatively be an inwardly folding mechanism. It is understood that if both the first folding mechanism 310 and the second folding mechanism 320 are inwardly folding mechanisms, the display module 100 can be in the unfolded state when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state, and the display module 100 can be in various forms when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, for example, an S-type or a G-type. Fig. Figure 18 shows that the display module 100 can be in a G-shape when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state.
[0273] It is understood that if both the first folding mechanism 310 and the second folding mechanism 320 are inwardly folding mechanisms, the second folding mechanism 320 must also enclose a receiving space when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, in order to accommodate the fourth part 100D of the display module 100. In this implementation, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100, which furthermore exhibits good flexibility while ensuring a specific rigidity, is arranged such that, whether the electronic device 1000 is in the first folded state or the second folded state, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 can be arranged in the receiving space 3104; in other words, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 can adapt to the second folding mechanism 320.Additionally, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 in this application can adapt to recording spaces with different shapes of the second foldable mechanism 320. In particular, the fourth part 100D of the display module 100 includes the fourth display area 14 of the display panel 10 and the second curved part 24 of the support element 20. Thus, for a structure of the second curved part 24 of the support element 20 in this implementation, refers to the structure of the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 in the preceding implementations. In particular, details are not described again in this implementation.
[0274] Fig. 20 is a diagram of a structure of the in Fig. 1 electronic device 1000 shown in a second folded state according to another implementation.
[0275] See Fig. 20. It is hereby specifically described, with reference to the accompanying drawings, that the first folding mechanism 310 is an inwardly folding mechanism. In this implementation, the first folding mechanism 310 can alternatively be an outwardly folding mechanism. It is understood that if both the first folding mechanism 310 and the second folding mechanism 320 are outwardly folding mechanisms, the display module 100 can be in the unfolded state when the electronic device 1000 is in the unfolded state, and the display module 100 can be in various forms when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state, for example, an S-type or a G-type. Fig. Figure 20 shows that the display module 100 can be in a G-shape when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state.
[0276] It is understood that, although the first folding mechanism 310 is an outwardly folding mechanism, the first curved part 22 of the support element 20 is still a structure of the first curved part 22 of the in Fig. 6 to Fig. The support element 20 shown in 12 is used. In other words, the structure of the first curved part 22 of the in Fig. 6 to Fig. The support element 20 shown in 12 can not only be based on the one in Fig. 13 and Fig. The mechanism shown in 14A, which folds inwards, may be applicable, but it may also be applicable to the mechanism that folds outwards. Details are not described again specifically here.
[0277] It is understood that if the structure of the first curved part 22 of the in Fig. 6 to Fig.The first curved part 22 of the support element 20 shown in Figure 12 is used in the outwardly folding mechanism and can also well meet the bending requirements of the outwardly folding mechanism at various positions. Details are as follows:
[0278] It is understood that the first bent main part 223, below the first bent lower part 221, the first connecting part 222, the first bent main part 223, the second connecting part 224, and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22, has minimal stiffness, and therefore the first bent main part 223 has better bending ability, that is, the first bent main part 223 can be bent more easily when the electronic device 1000 is in the second folded state. In this way, the first connecting part 222 and the second connecting part 224 of the first bent part 22 can be arranged close to each other, and the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22 can be arranged close to each other. In this case, the first foldable mechanism 310 folds the second display area 12 of the display panel 10 slightly into an outer screen of the electronic device 1000.
[0279] For example, the stiffness of the first bent lower part 221 of the first bent part 22 is set to be less than the stiffness of the first connecting part 222 of the first bent part 22, and the stiffness of the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22 is less than the stiffness of the second connecting part 224 of the first bent part 22, so that the stiffness of both the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22 is in an intermediate state. In this way, if both the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 of the first bent part 22 have a specific bending ability, the stiffness is not easily reduced to a large extent, and it is ensured that the first bent lower part 221 and the second bent lower part 225 have crush resistance and impact resistance.
[0280] It is understood that the preceding electronic device 1000 is described using an example in which the electronic device 1000 is folded twice. In another implementation, the electronic device 1000 can alternatively be folded more than twice. For example, the electronic device 1000 can be folded three times, and the electronic device 1000 is folded into a "W" shape. The electronic device 1000 can alternatively be folded four times, five times, six times, or the like.
[0281] It should be noted that embodiments in this application and features in embodiments can be combined with one another without conflict, and any combination of features in different embodiments also falls within the scope of protection of this application. In other words, the plurality of embodiments described above can be further combined according to an actual requirement.
[0282] It should be noted that all the preceding accompanying drawings are exemplary figures of this application and do not represent actual product sizes. Furthermore, any proportional relationship between components in the accompanying drawings is not intended to limit the actual product in this application.
[0283] The preceding descriptions are merely specific implementations of this application and are not intended to limit the scope of protection of this application.
