[0038] With reference to the figures mentioned, the present utility model relates to a protection arrangement 1 for a garment 100.

[0039] The Fig. Figures 1-2 and 6 show different types of clothing 100 that have the protective arrangement 1 on certain parts of the body or body parts that are to be covered and protected, e.g. on the shoulders, elbows and knees of the user.

[0040] In principle, the garment can be of any type and used in civilian, industrial, military, or sporting contexts. It can be a garment like the ones in the Fig. 1-2 shown, or an accessory worn by the user (e.g., a knee pad, elbow pad, buffer, etc.) to protect a specific part of the body, as shown in Fig. 6 shown.

[0041] The Fig. Figures 3-5 and 7 schematically illustrate the protection arrangement of the utility model in a basic configuration.

[0042] The protective arrangement 1 consists of several layers that lie on top of each other and are connected to each other, preferably at one or more peripheral edges 2 ( Fig. 3) Overall, the protective arrangement therefore consists of a multi-layered structure that can deform elastically, at least partially, in order to follow the profile of the body part to be covered and protected.

[0043] This configuration is highly advantageous because it significantly facilitates the industrial production of the protective arrangement through processes that are compatible with and integrable into the industrial manufacturing processes of garment 100. According to the utility model, the protective arrangement 1 comprises a first layer 11, which is elastically deformable and has a first surface 111 and a second surface 112 facing each other.

[0044] In general, the first layer 11 is intended to serve as a support layer for a structure made of elastically deformable thermoplastic material.

[0045] Layer 11 of the protective arrangement can be an integral part of the garment 100 or can be attached to it using known techniques, such as sewing, gluing, heat sealing, etc.

[0046] Preferably the first layer 11 consists of an elastically deformable material selected from a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a foam or a combination of these materials.

[0047] Preferably, the first layer 11 is arranged such that it can be heat-sealed to at least one other layer of the protective arrangement. In this case, it could, if necessary, be at least partially covered (for example, at the edges of the protective arrangement) with a heat-sealable material, such as TPU or PVC.

[0048] Preferably, the first layer 11 consists at least partially of a breathable material to improve user comfort.

[0049] The protective arrangement 1 comprises a first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material, which is connected to the first layer 11 and is arranged such that it at least partially covers the surface 111 of the layer.

[0050] Preferably, the aforementioned thermoplastic material consists of TPE, TPU, PVC, HDPE, LDPE or other suitable thermoplastic materials.

[0051] In principle, the structure 10 made of thermoplastic material can be produced by applying a thermoplastic material to the first surface 111 of the first layer 11 using any known industrial process, for example injection molding, additive printing by a 3D printer, gluing, heat sealing, casting and the like.

[0052] Preferably, however, the first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material is applied to the first layer 11 by means of an injection molding process.

[0053] The first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material is elastically deformable, preferably in one or more directions of deformation.

[0054] The first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material can have a continuous, mesh-like, or discrete configuration. Preferably, however, it comprises a plurality of shaped elements made of thermoplastic material, which are separated from one another and arranged side by side according to the desired pattern, for example, according to the solutions described in patent application DE 10 2020 120 936 A1.

[0055] Preferably, groups of elements made of thermoplastic material are joined together to facilitate deformation of the structure along correspondingly preferred deformation lines.

[0056] The protective arrangement 1 comprises a second layer 12, which is elastically deformable and has a third surface 123 and a fourth surface 124, which are opposite each other.

[0057] The second layer 12 is arranged such that the third surface 123 of the second layer 12 faces the first layer 11 and the fourth surface 124 points in the opposite direction with respect to layer 11.

[0058] In general, the second layer 12 is intended to cover the first thermoplastic structure 10, which is connected to the first layer 11.

[0059] The structure 10, made of thermoplastic material and connected to the first layer 11, is located between layers 11 and 12 of the protective arrangement, in particular between the first surface 111 of the first layer 11 and the third surface 123 of the second layer 12.

[0060] According to some embodiments of the utility model, which are described in more detail below, layer 12 of the protective arrangement can also serve as a support layer for another elastically deformable structure.

[0061] The second layer 12 could be an integral part of the garment 100 or be joined to it using known techniques, such as sewing, gluing, heat sealing, etc.

[0062] Preferably the second layer 12 consists of an elastically deformable material selected from a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a foam, a thermoplastic material or a combination of these materials.

[0063] Preferably, the second layer 12 is arranged such that it can be heat-sealed to at least one other layer of the protective arrangement. In this case, it could, if necessary, be at least partially covered (for example, at the edges of the protective arrangement) with a heat-sealable material, such as TPU or PVC.

[0064] Preferably, the first and second layers 11, 12 of the protective arrangement mentioned above are connected to each other at one or more connection areas 2 (preferably by heat sealing). The latter are configured to form one or more edges of the protective arrangement, as shown in Fig. 3 shown.

[0065] Preferably the protective arrangement comprises a cover layer 14 which rests on the layers 11, 12 in the connection areas 2 of the layers.

[0066] The top layer 14 is advantageously shaped (for example, ring-shaped) so that it follows the edges of the protective arrangement ( Fig. 4A).

[0067] Preferably the top layer 14 consists of a heat-sealable material, for example TPU or PVC.

[0068] Preferably, the top layer 14 is joined to the edges of the second layer 12 before the latter layer is joined to the first layer 11. In other cases, however, the top layer 11, 12 could be applied to the layers 11, 12 after they have already been joined together.

[0069] The in Fig. Solution 4A is particularly effective in ensuring an improved appearance of the covering arrangement. The covering layer 14 guarantees that the connection areas 2 between layers 11 and 12 have a smooth linear profile, even if the aforementioned layers have non-negligible differences in thickness. The protective arrangement 1 can be applied to a garment 11 according to the [reference to be added]. Fig. The protective arrangement 1 can be arranged in the orientation shown in Figure 4. The first layer 11 is intended to face the user's body, while the second layer 12 is intended to face outwards. In other cases, the protective arrangement 1 can be arranged on a garment 11 in a reversed orientation, as shown in Figure 4. Fig. Figure 5 is shown. According to this configuration, the second layer 12 is intended to face the user's body, while the first layer 11 is intended to face outwards.

[0070] Protective arrangement 1 can be designed for use on garments or parts of garments with very little curvature. In this case, the protective arrangement has a substantially flat or slightly curved configuration during use, so that it follows the profile of the body part of the user to be covered.

[0071] The Fig. Figures 6-7 show an example where the protective arrangement 1 is applied to garments with a very pronounced curvature or with a tubular or semi-tubular structure. In this case, the protective arrangement 1 can have a distinctly curved shape. For example, the first layer 11 can be folded and joined to an edge 101A of the garment 100 to form the aforementioned tubular or semi-tubular structure.

[0072] Fig. Figure 8 shows a variant of the utility model.

[0073] According to this embodiment, the arrangement 1 comprises a first layer 11, a first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material, and a second layer 12, which is configured according to the following: Fig. 4 are arranged.

[0074] However, the second layer 12 is connected to the first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material at one or more second connection areas 3.

[0075] This solution is particularly advantageous because it ensures improved cohesion between the parts of the protective arrangement.

[0076] The connection between the second layer 12 and the structure 10 made of thermoplastic material can be achieved by known techniques, for example by melting between the layers, gluing, heat sealing, etc.

[0077] The connection between the second layer 12 and the structure 10 is preferably flat. However, it can also be produced in a curved shape after the protective arrangement has been pre-formed.

[0078] The protective arrangement can be applied to a garment 11 according to the aforementioned design variant, as described in Fig. They can be arranged in the orientation shown in 8 or with the reversed orientation, analogous to that shown in Fig. 5 configurations shown.

[0079] The Fig. Figures 9-10 show another variant of the utility model.

[0080] The protective arrangement 1 comprises a first layer 11, a first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material and a second layer 12 according to the one described in Fig. 4 configurations shown.

[0081] In this case, however, the second layer 12 has an opening 4. The thermoplastic structure 10 is therefore only partially covered by the second layer 12 even when layers 11 and 12 of the protective arrangement are connected to each other.

[0082] Preferably, the second layer 12 is connected to the first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material at one or more second connection areas 3, which are designed to form one or more edges of the opening 4.

[0083] Preferably, the connection between the second layer 12 and the structure 10 made of thermoplastic material is produced by heat sealing. For this purpose, the second layer 12 can consist of a thermoplastic material or be coated at the edges of the opening 4 with a heat-sealable material.

[0084] In this variant of the manufacturing process, the protective arrangement is preferably applied to a garment 11 in accordance with the [specification / guideline]. Fig. The structure 10 is attached in the orientation shown in Figure 10, with the second layer 12 facing outwards and the first layer 11 facing the user's body. In this way, the thermoplastic structure 10 is advantageously visible on the outside, giving the garment 100, to which the protective arrangement is attached, a special aesthetic appearance and ensuring improved breathability. Fig. 9).

[0085] According to further implementation variants of the utility model ( Fig. 11-15) the protective arrangement 1 comprises a second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material, which is connected to a layer of the protective arrangement.

[0086] In this case too, the thermoplastic material can consist of TPE, TPU, PVC, HDPE, LDPE or other suitable thermoplastic materials.

[0087] In principle, the structure 20 made of thermoplastic material can be produced by applying a thermoplastic material to a surface of the corresponding support layer using any known industrial process, for example injection molding, 3D printing, gluing, heat sealing, casting and the like.

[0088] Preferably, however, the second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material is applied to the corresponding support layer by means of an injection molding process.

[0089] The second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material is elastically deformable, preferably in one or more deformation directions.

[0090] The second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material can have a continuous, mesh-like, or discrete configuration. Preferably, however, it comprises a plurality of shaped elements made of thermoplastic material that are separate from one another and arranged side by side according to the desired pattern, for example, according to the solutions described in patent application DE 10 2020 120 936 A1.

[0091] Preferably, groups of elements made of thermoplastic material are joined together to facilitate deformation of the structure 20 along correspondingly preferred deformation lines.

[0092] Fig. Figure 11 shows another variant of the utility model.

[0093] The protective arrangement 1 comprises a first layer 11, a first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material and a second layer 12 according to the one described in Fig. 4 configuration shown or, if necessary, the configurations of the Fig. 8 and Fig. 10.

[0094] In this case, however, the protective arrangement includes a second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material, which is connected to the second layer 12 and is arranged so that it at least partially covers the fourth surface 124 of the second layer.

[0095] The second layer 12 thus serves as a support layer for the second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material.

[0096] The structures 10, 20 made of thermoplastic material are arranged at opposite positions with respect to the second layer 12.

[0097] The protective arrangement is preferably on a garment 11 according to the one described in Fig. The two layers are arranged in the orientation shown in Figure 11, with the second layer 12 facing outwards and the first layer 11 facing the user's body. In this way, the second structure 20, made of thermoplastic material, can advantageously be seen from the outside and give the garment 100, to which the protective arrangement is applied, a special aesthetic appearance.

[0098] Fig. Figure 12 shows another variant of the utility model.

[0099] The protective arrangement 1 comprises a first layer 11, a first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material and a second layer 12 according to the one described in Fig. 4 configuration shown or, if necessary, according to the configurations of the Fig. 8 and Fig. 10.

[0100] In this case, however, the protective arrangement includes a second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material, which is connected to the second layer 12 and is arranged so that it at least partially covers the third surface 123 of the second layer.

[0101] In this case, too, the second layer 12 serves as a support layer for the second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material.

[0102] The structures 10, 20 made of thermoplastic material are arranged between the first and second layers 11, 12 and face each other.

[0103] The protective order 1 can be applied to a garment 11 in accordance with the instructions in Fig. 12 shown orientation or with reversed orientation, analogous to that in Fig. The configuration shown in section 5 will be arranged.

[0104] According to further embodiments of the utility model ( Fig. 13-15) the protective arrangement 1 comprises, in addition to the second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material mentioned above, a third layer 13 which is preferably elastically deformable.

[0105] The third layer 13 can be intended to cover the second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material and / or to serve as a support layer for it.

[0106] The third layer 13 can be an integral part of the garment 100 or can be attached to it using known techniques, such as sewing, gluing, heat sealing, etc.

[0107] Preferably the third layer 13 consists of an elastically deformable material selected from a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a polyurethane foam, a thermoplastic material or a combination of these materials.

[0108] Preferably, the third layer 13 is arranged such that it is heat-sealed to at least one other layer of the protective arrangement. In this case, it could, if necessary, be at least partially covered (for example, at the edges of the protective arrangement) with a heat-sealable material, such as TPU or PVC.

[0109] Preferably, the third layer 13 is connected to the above-mentioned first and second layers 11, 12 of the protective arrangement at the above-mentioned connection areas 2.

[0110] Fig. Figure 13 shows another variant of the utility model.

[0111] The protective arrangement 1 comprises a first layer 11, a first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material and a second layer 12 according to the one described in Fig. 4 configuration shown or, if necessary, according to the configurations of the Fig. 8 and Fig. 10.

[0112] In this case, however, the protective arrangement 1 includes a third layer 13 with a fifth surface 135 and a sixth surface 136, which is opposite the fifth surface 135.

[0113] The third layer 13 is arranged such that the fifth and sixth surfaces 135 each face the first layer 11 in the opposite direction to this layer.

[0114] The protective arrangement comprises a second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material, which is connected to the third layer 13 and is arranged so that it at least partially covers the fifth surface 135 of the third layer.

[0115] The third layer 13 thus serves as a support layer for the second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material.

[0116] The structure 20 made of thermoplastic material is arranged between the first and the third layer 11, 13, while the structures 10, 20 made of thermoplastic material are located in opposite positions with respect to the first layer 11.

[0117] The protective order 1 can be applied to a garment 11 in accordance with the instructions in Fig. 13 shown orientation or with reversed orientation, analogous to that in Fig. The configuration shown in section 5 will be arranged.

[0118] Fig. Figure 14 shows another variant of the utility model.

[0119] The protective arrangement 1 comprises a first layer 11, a first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material and a second layer 12 according to the one described in Fig. 4 configuration shown or, if necessary, according to the configurations of the Fig. 8 and Fig. 10.

[0120] However, in this case too, the protective arrangement 1 includes a third layer 13 with a fifth surface 135 and a sixth surface 136, which is opposite the fifth surface 135.

[0121] The third layer 13 is arranged such that the fifth and sixth surfaces 135 each face the first layer 11 and are located in the opposite direction to this layer.

[0122] The protective arrangement comprises a second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material, which is connected to the first layer 11 and is arranged so that it at least partially covers the second surface 112 of the first layer.

[0123] In this case, the first layer 11 also serves as a support layer for the second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material.

[0124] The structure 20 made of thermoplastic material is arranged between the first and the third layer 11, 13, while the structures 10, 20 made of thermoplastic material are located in opposite positions with respect to the first layer 11.

[0125] According to this embodiment, the third layer 13 can also be connected to the second structure 30 made of thermoplastic material at one or more corresponding connection areas.

[0126] The protective arrangement 1 can be attached to a garment 11 according to the instructions in Fig. 14 shown orientation or with reversed orientation, analogous to that in Fig. The configuration shown in section 5 will be arranged.

[0127] Fig. Figure 15 shows another variant of the utility model.

[0128] The protective arrangement 1 comprises a first layer 11, a first structure 10 made of thermoplastic material and a second layer 12 according to the one described in Fig. 4 configuration shown or, if necessary, according to the configurations of the Fig. 8 and Fig. 10.

[0129] However, in this case too, the protective arrangement 1 includes a third layer 13 with a fifth surface 135 and a sixth surface 136, which is opposite the fifth surface 135.

[0130] The third layer 13 is arranged such that the fifth and sixth surfaces 135 of the first layer 11 are each facing in opposite directions with respect to this layer.

[0131] The protective arrangement comprises a second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material, which is connected to the third layer 13 and is arranged to at least partially cover the sixth surface 136 of the third layer.

[0132] The third layer 13 thus also serves as a support layer for the second structure 20 made of thermoplastic material.

[0133] The structures 10, 20 are located in opposite positions to the first and third layers 11, 13 and face the respective surfaces 112, 135.

[0134] The protective order 1 can be applied to a garment 11 in accordance with the instructions in Fig. 15 shown orientation or with reversed orientation, analogous to that in Fig. The configuration shown in section 5 will be arranged.

[0135] The protective arrangement according to the utility model has significant advantages over the prior art.

[0136] The protective arrangement comprises one or more structures 10, 20 made of thermoplastic material, which are elastically deformable both in the direction perpendicular to and in the direction parallel to the respective support layers.

[0137] The structures 10, 20 made of thermoplastic material can therefore provide an effective damping effect in the event of an impact on the user's body.

[0138] At the same time, these structures work synergistically with the other elastically deformable layers of the protective arrangement, so that the entire multi-layered structure can easily adapt to the shape of the body.

[0139] The protective arrangement thus ensures high performance in terms of abrasion and impact protection and provides a high level of ergonomics and comfort for the user.

[0140] The cover layers 12 and 13 of the protective arrangement ensure effective protection against abrasion of the thermoplastic structures 10 and 20 when these structures face outwards. Conversely, when the aforementioned structures face the user's body, the cover layers ensure effective protection of the user's body against friction or contact allergies.

[0141] The protective arrangement can be manufactured in such a way that it can be easily applied to a garment without significantly complicating the garment's manufacturing process.

[0142] For example, due to its elastically deformable structure, the protective arrangement can advantageously be manufactured using planar assembly techniques that are compatible with the garment's manufacturing techniques.

[0143] The protective arrangement can easily be manufactured on an industrial scale, with significant advantages in terms of production time and cost. QUOTES INCLUDED IN THE DESCRIPTION
