Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a fastening device for a drive rod fitting component on a sash rebate of a sash composed of profiled bars. The sash rebate is profiled and has a double C-shaped guide groove with two webs running perpendicular to the rebate and two facing edge strips. The edge strips run parallel to the rebate and a groove base. This creates an undercut between the groove base and the edge strip. A drive rod mounted along the sash rebate is guided longitudinally displaceably in the groove and engages behind the undercut. This secures the drive rod against removal from the guide groove. However, the same circumstance also prevents installation of the drive rod in a direction perpendicular to the rebate. Therefore, designs were used that provide for the partial removal of the webs and edge strips in the joint area between two profile bars, thus opening the guide groove and allowing the drive rods to be inserted along the sash rebate. This is time-consuming and requires a space at the installation site that corresponds to the largest length of the drive rod. Therefore, various designs have already been developed that allow the drive rods and drive rod components to be inserted perpendicular to the sash rebate.
[0002] DE 19962152 A1 discloses fastening devices for this purpose that allow a mounting movement directed perpendicular to the sash rebate. This discloses a fastening device for an angular drive rod element, which has locking elements for mounting in the previously described rebate groove. In addition, pivotable clamping elements are disclosed, which, in an installed position, are aligned with the outer edges of the housing and can thus be guided between the legs of the guide groove. The clamping elements can be brought into a locking position by rotation, in which they engage in the undercut.
[0003] DE 7132734 U1 discloses a fastening device for a corner drive housing. It is provided that a recess in the corner area of the sash allows the insertion of a housing leg, which, with two longitudinal grooves, allows the engagement of the edge strips. An adjustable clamping element is provided on the second leg, which, in a first position, assumes an orientation in which the housing can be inserted with the first leg along the guide groove until the housing rests on the groove base of the orthogonal leg. Thus, the first leg of the housing is already secured to the sash. A 90° rotation of the clamping element also secures the second leg of the housing, which rests with a flat surface on the edge strip. The angular housing is thus secured to the sash. The design requires the recess on at least one profile bar of the sash.
[0004] To secure a faceplate fitting in a rebate groove, DE 3041500 A1 stipulates that a faceplate is gripped by a U-shaped tongue with outward-facing cutting edges at V-shaped diverging side edges. In a first position, the tongue grips the narrowed waist of the faceplate so that the cutting edges do not protrude beyond the width of the faceplate. If the tongue is moved along the faceplate, the V-shaped diverging side edges of the faceplate spread the tongue, which digs into the side walls of the rebate groove with its cutting edges. This design is suitable for sash profiles made of soft materials, but not for those made of metal.
[0005] DE 2015723 A1 proposes an angular housing with elastic locking tabs along the long side edges of both legs. The locking tabs are mounted parallel to the side walls of the housing and have undercuts at their ends that engage behind the locking webs of the rebate groove. No clearance of the rebate groove is required for assembly. The locking tabs are designed as a single unit with the housing and must therefore be made of the same material. This design requires that the locking tabs have sufficient freedom of movement. To prevent the locking tabs from unlocking, locking elements are mounted in the housing, which support the locking tabs against the housing in the locked position. Pins or threaded bolts are proposed for this purpose. After the locking tabs have been locked during assembly, the locking elements are moved behind the locking tabs and lock the locking tabs against being pushed back. The design allows for only complex disassembly, because the locking elements must first be removed and the locking tongues then pushed back.
[0006] A similar design is known from DE 4138741 A1, in which the locking tabs are attached to a clamp that engages the angled housing on one leg. Lateral projections are provided on the second leg, which engage in the undercut of the rebate groove and thereby secure the leg. These projections require partial removal of the edge strips for assembly. Therefore, mounting the housing perpendicular to the rebate is not possible.
[0007] DE 102021203760 B4 discloses a fitting for attaching an angular connecting rod fitting component. A locking element is provided on one leg, which can pass the edge strip in the rebate groove. The locking element can be moved along the rebate groove. A displacement body can assume a joining position and an operating position by moving the locking element. In the joining position, the locking element can be unlocked, and in the operating position, it is fixed. The connecting rod element can thus be assembled and disassembled without tools. This design is not reliable under high loads.
[0008] There is therefore a need for a fastening that allows tool-free installation and ensures secure attachment to both edge strips.
[0009] To achieve this object, the invention provides that in a device according to the preamble, the plate has two parallel side edges, each of which ends at right angles to transverse edges of the narrow sides, which open into cutouts inclined to the side edges and the transverse edges, wherein a bore is provided in the transition region of a cutout to the side edge, the plate sits in a shallow pocket of the housing. The pocket is open on both sides of the housing and has two stop edges inclined to the long edges of the housing, and the housing supports a slider that can be moved along the housing, engages the plate and moves it in the pocket such that the plate abuts the stop edges and is pivotally deflected thereon until the long edges are perpendicular to the side edge. The plate can be made of a highly resilient material and rests extensively on the underside of the edge strips, securely anchoring the housing perpendicular to the groove. At the same time, the plate and housing securely support the drive rod component perpendicular to the rebate groove.
[0010] It is intended that the drive rod fitting component is designed as a corner drive with an angular housing.
[0011] In order to maximize the transferable forces, it is provided that the slide is mounted on a first leg of the housing and that a rear grip edge is attached to one side of the second leg along a longitudinal edge.
[0012] Because the housing is provided with a support strip which rests on the edge strip when the housing is assembled, the housing is also securely fixed perpendicular to the rebate groove.
[0013] The plate is designed to have a hole for the engagement of a pin of the slider. This creates coupling elements that are easy to manufacture.
[0014] In order to ensure a simple design of the slide, it is provided that the slide has a U-shaped cross-section and engages with guide webs in guide grooves of the housing.
[0015] In order to ensure safe storage of the disk, the guide grooves are provided on both sides of the housing.
[0016] In order to secure the end positions of the slide, it is provided that the slide and the housing can be locked against each other in a joining position and an operating position at least via a locking device.
[0017] Further advantageous embodiments are shown in the drawings. They show: Fig. 1 an angular connecting rod fitting component in a first view, Fig. 2 the angular connecting rod fitting component according to Fig. 1 in a second view, Fig. 3 a section through a profile bar with a drive rod fitting component mounted therein in a joining position, Fig. 4 a section through a profile bar with a drive rod fitting component mounted therein in an operating position, Fig. 5 a section along the line VV in Fig. 3 without the wing profile, Fig. 6 a view along the arrow VI in Fig. 3 without the wing profile, Fig. 7 a section along the line VII-VII in Fig. 4 without the wing profile, Fig. 8 a view along the arrow VIII in Fig. 4 without the wing profile and Fig. 9 a section along the line IX in Fig. 2 with the wing profile.
[0018] In the Fig. 1, the connecting rod fitting component is provided with the reference number 1. The connecting rod fitting component 1 is a corner drive with an angular housing 2. The housing 2 has a first leg 3 and a second leg 4.
[0019] On each leg 3, 4, a drive rod 5, 6 is guided longitudinally and coupled to adjacent drive rod components not shown here. The drive rod fitting component 1 is provided as a corner deflection for the movement deflection of the adjacent drive rod components and therefore has a deflection channel 7 in which flexible deflection bands 8 ( Fig. 3, Fig. 4). For coupling with adjacent connecting rod elements, connecting rods 5 and 6 are equipped with coupling elements.
[0020] A pocket 9 is provided in the housing 2 on the leg 3. A rear grip edge 10 in the form of a strip is provided on the leg 4. The Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 shows an installation situation in the assembled and operating position of the drive rod component 1 on a profile bar 11. The profile bar 11 is a component of a window or door sash. Two profile bars attached to each other at right angles form a right angle of the sash. The profile bar 11 has a groove 12. The drive rod fitting component 1 can be secured in the groove 12 of the window or door sash using a clamping device 13. The clamping device 13 comprises, first, the housing 2, in which the clamping device 13 is mounted. The housing 2 also serves to guide the drive rods 5, 6.
[0021] According to the Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the housing 2 is equipped with a foot 14. The foot 14 rests on the groove base 15 and has a width that is smaller than the clear distance 16 between the mutually facing edge strips 17, 18 of the groove 12.
[0022] In the exemplary embodiment, the clamping device 13 further comprises an adjustable clamping element 19. The clamping element 19 occurs in a first inactive position ( Fig. 3) behind the longitudinal edge 20 of the housing 2 and has an effective width that is smaller than the distance 16. Therefore, the clamping element 19 does not protrude beyond the foot 14. This position is the joining position. In a second active position, the operating position, the clamping element 19 protrudes in front of the longitudinal edges 20, 21 of the housing 2. The clamping element 19 engages behind the edge strip webs 17, 18, as the Fig. 4 points to and projects into the rear grip area 22, 23. The rear grip area 22 and 23 lies between the groove base 15, the edge strip webs 17, 18, and the groove side walls 24, 25.
[0023] The clamping element 19 is a plate 26 pivotally mounted in the housing 2. The plate 26 is in the Fig. 5. The plate 26 is almost hexagonal and has two parallel side edges 27, 28, each of which ends at right angles to the transverse edges 29, 30 of the narrow sides, which open into cutouts 31, 32 inclined to the side edges 27, 28 and the transverse edges 29, 30. A hole 34 is provided in the transition area 33 between the cutout 32 and the side edge 28. The hole 34 is open-edged.
[0024] From the Fig. 6, which shows the joining position with the housing 2 not cut, it can be seen that the plate 26 does not protrude beyond the longitudinal edges 20, 21 of the housing 2 due to the cutouts 31, 32 in the joining position. Fig. 6 shows a section of the top view of the leg 3. The housing 2 forms a recess 35 for the slide 36, so that the latter does not protrude or only protrudes insignificantly beyond the housing 2.
[0025] The pocket 9 is open on both sides of the housing 2 and has two stop edges 37, 38 running inclined to the longitudinal edges 20, 21 of the housing 2. The stop edges 37, 38 end in edges 39, 40 running perpendicular to the longitudinal edges 20, 21.
[0026] The plate 26 sits in the flat pocket 9 of the housing 2 below the slide 36, as the Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 clarify.
[0027] The housing 2 supports the slide 36, which is movable along the leg 3 of the housing 2. For this purpose, the housing 2 has two guide grooves 41, 42. The slide 36 engages in the guide grooves 41, 42 with the legs 43, 44. The leg 43 is longer. A guide web 45, 46 is provided at the free end of each leg 43, 44. The slide 36 engages in the bore 34 of the plate 26 with a pin 47. The pin 47 is rotatably received in the bore 34. The pin 47 is designed as a locking pin and locks into the bore 34. It is therefore expedient for the slide 36 to be made of a material with spring-elastic properties. Because the slider 36 has a U-shaped cross-section and engages with the guide webs 45, 46 in the guide grooves 41, 42 of the housing 2 and the guide webs 45, 46 are shorter than the guide grooves 41, 42, the slider 36 can be moved along the leg 3.
[0028] High actuation forces can act on the connecting rod fitting component 1, which can lead to the connecting rod fitting component 1 being inadvertently displaced relative to the sash and the profile bar 11. In order to maximize the transferable forces, the slider 36 is mounted on the first leg 3 of the housing 2 and the engagement edge 10 is attached to one side of the second leg 4 along a longitudinal edge. Furthermore, support strips 48, 49, 50 are provided on the housing 2, which, when the housing 2 is assembled, rest on the edge strip web 17. These have the effect of additionally fixing the housing 2 perpendicular to the groove.
[0029] This results in the following effect: In the delivery state, the slide 36 is in accordance with the Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 is moved to the end position shown on the left in the drawing. It is advisable that the slider 36 is fixed in this position to ensure the joining position of the plate 26. The drive rod fitting component 1 is brought to the sash corner, consisting of two profile bars 11, 51 running at right angles to each other. The drive rod fitting component 1 is inserted by a pivoting movement with the rear gripping edge 10 under the edge strip web 52 of the second profile bar 51. An alignment movement of the leg 3 along the groove 12 results in the leg 4 Fig. 9 and the edge strip web 52 lies between the rear grip edge 10 and the support strip 53. The pivoting movement is completed when the support strip 54 rests on the edge strip web 55. The drive rod fitting component 1 is slidably guided in the groove 56 by this engagement and can now be moved until the leg 3 enters the groove 12 and the housing 2 encompasses the corner area of the sash corner.
[0030] If the leg 3 comes to rest on the groove base 15 and / or the support strip 48 comes to rest on the edge strip web 17 ( Fig. 3), the alignment is complete.
[0031] The fastening of the connecting rod fitting component 1 can be completed by operating the slider 26. Starting from the Fig. 5, the plate 26 is moved by a displacement of the slide 36 toward the edge 39. The eccentric arrangement of the pin 47 relative to the tip 57 causes the plate 26 to pivot about the tip 57. The plate 26 pivots in the pocket 9 without a fixed cylindrical axis of rotation existing between the plate 26 and the housing 2.
[0032] The displacement of the plate 26 in the pocket 9 occurs exclusively during assembly and, if necessary, disassembly, so that the plate 26 either abuts the stop edge 39 or 40 in the operating position, in order to be pivotally deflected thereon until the longitudinal edges 37, 38 are perpendicular to the side edges 27, 28, or in the joining position, abut the inner edges 58, 59. Due to its design, the recess forms a pointed bearing.
[0033] The Fig. 8 shows that in the operating position the plate 26 protrudes laterally beyond the housing 2.
[0034] The Fig. 6 and Fig. 8 shows that the slide 36 has a tongue 60. In the operating position, the tongue 60 can be assigned to a locking recess 61 in the housing 2. The tongue 60 is provided on its underside with a locking hook that engages the locking recess 61 when the slide 36 is moved into the operating position.
