Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a core removal rod with a threaded reducing nut. The threaded removal rod 1¼ is used to remove stuck cores from diamond core bits. This is achieved by screwing a threaded rod with the same dimensions as the diamond core bit's receiving thread into the diamond core bit, forcing the core out of the core bit. This process is usually very time-consuming because the threaded rod is screwed in until the core is free and then has to be screwed back in again once the core blockage has been resolved.
[0002] The innovation is based on the task of screwing the ejection threaded rod into a reducing nut. The reducing nut with the ejection rod can then be screwed into the receiving thread of the core bit and then only needs to be screwed in approximately 20 mm for its fastening. The time savings achieved through this measure are 75-80%. Another advantage is the weight reduction by changing the ejection rod from 1¼" (4.5 kg) to M20 or similar (1.2 kg).
[0003] The drawings show 2 functional examples: Fig. 1 ejection rod with diamond core bit Fig. 2 push-out rods with rod extension
[0004] The ejection rod -2- is screwed into the reducing nut -3-. The reducing nut -3- and the ejection rod -2- are screwed into the receiving thread -4- of the diamond core bit -5-. The ejection rod -2- is turned further until it makes contact with the drill core -6-. The ejection process can now be carried out by further turning the ejection rod -2- with a wrench via the ejection rod head -1-. If the diamond core bit -5- is too long, the ejection rod -2- can be extended with an extension bolt -7-.
Claims
[1] A core thread ejection rod, called ejection rod for short, with which a stuck core bit or a stuck core bit is released via the receiving thread of the core bit. [2] An ejection rod according to claim -1- characterized by that the ejection rod is provided with a reducing nut to reduce the diameter. [3] An ejection rod according to claim 1-2 characterized by that the reducing nut reduces the mounting path of the push-out rod to only about 20-30mm. [4] An ejection rod according to claim 1-3 characterized by that tightening and loosening the reducing nut with the ejection rod only requires a few turns. [5] An ejection rod according to claims 1-4 characterized by that the push-out rod can be extended as required.
