Description

[0001] In the forestry and agricultural sectors, so-called horde gates are known for fencing forest crops. These consist of a wooden frame with a number of vertical and transverse bars at different distances from each other in order to prevent wild animals from entering a cultivated area and causing considerable and costly damage to young plants by grazing or sweeping.

[0002] These frame constructions mostly consist of a combination of wooden bars of any size which are joined together to form a coherent frame, in dimensions of, for example, 1.6 metres high and 3.0 metres long, or 2.0 metres high and up to 4.0 metres long.

[0003] With these dimensions and the height of 1.6 meters and 2.0 meters respectively, it is impossible for roe deer, fallow deer and red deer, as well as to a limited extent wild boars, to overcome the barrier.

[0004] The cross-bar spacing in the lower floor area varies and is chosen to allow predators such as foxes, martens, wild cats, and lynx to pass through and satisfy their hunting instincts. Wild boars are capable of lifting the lower bars, breaking through them, or even lifting the entire herd gate element from its anchorage.

[0005] This is due to the light wooden construction, which is relatively easy to break through, and the usually very inadequate anchoring by means of earth stakes in the ground.

[0006] The inventive idea of the device is to create a horde gate element 1a in particular for young cultures that require intensive protection, such as Christmas tree cultures or highly sensitive new plantings in the forestry sector.

[0007] These 1a-type horde gate elements are initially limited in their dimensions, as large elements tend to be unstable, are too heavy, and have poor stability. The dimensions should therefore be limited to 3.0 m in length and a maximum of 2.0 m in height, as these dimensions ensure good stability and convenient transport, even with a lightweight construction.

[0008] In the wild boar safe element 1a, there is a wire 6, wires 6 or barbed wire 6 between the lower cross bars 5, which are tensile-resistant connected to the wooden construction 1a, i.e. the upright bars 4 / 8.

[0009] The wire 7 or barbed wire 7 is attached to the lower end of all upright bars 4 / 8, so that after erecting the horde gate elements 1a, this wire 7 comes to lie close to the ground 3 or even in it.

[0010] This makes it very difficult, if not impossible, for a wild boar to get under the wire 7 and thus under the entire horde gate element 1a in order to push it upwards or to directly break through individual cross bars 5 and thus break into the crop that is actually to be protected.

[0011] Essentially, however, the pushing up of the horde gate element 1a is also prevented by a solid ground fastening 9, for which purpose the horde gate element 1a described according to the invention is firmly and solidly fastened to the ground 3 on both sides with a single fastening element 9 as described in GB 20 2025 000 420.

[0012] To secure the middle area of the Horde gate element 1a, an additional support post 10 is driven into the ground 3 at the middle support bar 8 and connected to the middle support bar 8 by screws, nails or tackers.

[0013] This combination of barrier wires 6 lying between the lower cross bars 5, the final wire 7 at the lower end of the upright bars 4 / 8 and the ground fixing 3 with the patented individual fixing elements 9, supplemented by the central securing by an additional support post 10, results in the inventive solid, stable and almost impossible for wild boars to penetrate herd gate Wild Boar-Save Element 1a. Description and structure of the Wild Boar Save Horde Gate

[0014] A wild boar-safe element 1a is constructed like all other commercially available horde gates 1. Depending on the dimensions, the individual elements 1 consist of at least 3 upright bars 4, which are connected by 6 to 10 cross bars 5, which are then nailed, stapled, or screwed together to form a complete horde gate element 1.

[0015] However, to supplement the protection against wild boar penetrations, the Wild Boar Safe 1a herd gate has one or more wires 6 incorporated into the lower three or four spaces between the crossbars 5, which are tensile-resistant and fastened to the uprights 4 using staples, tackers, or nails. These wires 6 incorporated into the spaces between the crossbars 5 prevent wild boars from breaking through the herd gate element 1a in such a way that even if one of the crossbars 5 were to break, the wire 6 would still keep the resulting opening closed, thus making it impenetrable.

[0016] In addition, a wire 7 or barbed wire 7 is fastened to the lower end of the support bars 4 / 8 in a tensile manner, which makes it much more difficult for the wild boar to dig down into the ground 3 again.

[0017] The solid earth fastening 9 on both sides of the horde gate element 1a with the individual fastening element 9 according to GB 20 2025 000 420 massively counteracts the knocking over of the entire horde gate element 1a by a wild boar.

[0018] In order to achieve this stabilizing effect in the middle part of the Wild Boar Save 1a herd gate, an additional support post 10 is driven into the ground 3 at the middle support bar 8 and fastened to the middle support bar 8 using a nail, screw or stapler.

[0019] This combination of wires 6 / 7 or barbed wires 6 / 7 between the cross bars 5, the wire 7 attached to the lower end of the upright bars 4 / 8, the individual fastening elements 9 on both sides together with the additional support post 10 attached to the middle upright bar 8 make the horde gate element 1a, individually or assembled together in a row, into a protective fence a for wild boars that is virtually impenetrable and also offers a long service life due to its long durability and solid stability.

[0020] The solution to the problem of the invention results from the features of claim 1 in conjunction with the features of the preamble. Further advantageous embodiments and uses of the invention result from the subclaims.
