Description

[0001] The invention relates to a multi-purpose sanitary display stand for sanitary areas, preferably in toilets.

[0002] Sanitary stands are known as freestanding elements that serve as holders for toilet paper, toilet brushes, and other accessories. They are placed in restrooms, near the toilet bowl. These stands typically consist of one or two vertical supports to which holders for the toilet brush and a roll of toilet paper are attached. The stand is usually equipped with a base, making it portable rather than permanently fixed.

[0003] Such state-of-the-art sanitary fixtures are usually functionally designed but, as a disadvantage, require a large amount of space and, due to this space, have an undesirable visual dominance. Furthermore, the space required is then unavailable for other purposes.

[0004] The object of the invention is to provide a multi-purpose sanitary display unit that, overcoming the disadvantages of the prior art, offers extended functionality in special toilet areas, particularly in hotels, conference venues or catering establishments with high application standards.

[0005] The problem is solved by the features listed in claim 1. Preferred embodiments are set forth in the dependent claims.

[0006] The multi-purpose sanitary display unit has as its basic components a base body, a mounting base, at least one holding application and a planting tray insert.

[0007] The basic body has a vertical extension and features a lower end section and an upper end section.

[0008] The base body is preferably designed in the form of a rectangular stainless steel tube. An advantage of this preferred design is that the stainless steel tube is hollow inside. This allows the cavity to accommodate additional elements.

[0009] The shape of the tube can optionally include a square, round, or oval cross-section in addition to the preferred rectangular one. Furthermore, it can optionally be designed by joining tubes with different decreasing diameters to make the base body telescopic.

[0010] The base material is preferably stainless steel. This allows the high hygiene standards and sophisticated design requirements to be met at the same time.

[0011] The base is located at the lower end of the base. It is designed to hold the base stably in a vertical position. Furthermore, it is designed for easy and secure connection to the base. The base preferably has a flat shape and is preferably made of high-quality materials such as stainless steel, natural stone, or premium woods.

[0012] Furthermore, the multi-purpose sanitary display unit has at least one mounting bracket from a group consisting of a toilet paper holder, toilet brush holder, hygiene wipe dispenser, and sanitary bin holder. Preferably, the multi-purpose display unit has several of these mounting brackets.

[0013] The mounting bracket(s) are attached to the base unit. These brackets can be either permanently fixed or removable. In particular, universal mounts that correspond to connectors on the mounting brackets are advantageous, allowing for modular configuration of the base unit. The ability to configure the multi-purpose sanitary dispenser modularly with different mounting brackets enables easy adaptation to its intended use. This allows it to be used in sanitary areas such as restrooms and washrooms, as well as in entrance areas as a hygiene dispenser.

[0014] The multi-purpose sanitary display stand according to the invention is characterized in particular by a plant tray insert.

[0015] The plant tray insert is located at the upper end section. Different plants can be placed in the plant tray insert depending on the season. These can be used as cut flowers in a water reservoir or as seedlings in potting soil. The plant tray insert can be designed to function as a vase or flowerpot. According to the present invention, the plant tray insert can also be designed to hold dried decorative items such as floral arrangements or other decorative elements.

[0016] This solution allows for the advantageous provision of a sanitary display stand that simultaneously offers a physical base for flowers or greenery as interior design elements. The flowers or greenery are particularly advantageously positioned at a height that is well within the field of vision of a standing or seated person and is also ergonomically beneficial for any necessary maintenance. Furthermore, attention is drawn to the flowers or greenery, making the sanitary fixtures appear less dominant.

[0017] In a further advantageous embodiment, the multi-purpose sanitary stand is characterized by the fact that the base body is hollow and has an interior space at the upper end section that opens upwards. The plant tray insert is also recessed into this interior space.

[0018] The plant tray insert is inserted into the upper end section and can be easily removed and reinserted. This allows the plant tray inserts and plants to be quickly adapted to the respective season or event, and also enables storage and maintenance outside the multi-purpose sanitary unit. The integrated functionality effectively utilizes the volume of the base unit for multiple functions.

[0019] After further advantageous development, the multi-purpose sanitary display stand is characterized by the fact that the plant tray insert can be inserted and removed without tools.

[0020] The tool-free interchangeability makes it easier to remove and thus maintain the individual inserts, for example by changing the flower water or the planting in the variant of an insert for green plants.

[0021] The high flexibility and quick adaptability of the plant tray insert offer an additional advantage of this variant.

[0022] For example, in hotels or other applications that simultaneously maintain a large number of multi-purpose sanitary displays according to the invention, the plant tray inserts can be prepared and kept ready for use. Depending on current needs, the plant tray inserts can then be inserted or removed. This also allows for easy decoration changes. Furthermore, for maintenance purposes, a plant tray insert requiring care can be conveniently removed and immediately replaced with a freshly prepared one, thus eliminating the need for staff to remain in a hotel room or restroom for extended periods. The actual care of the flowers or plants can then be carried out in dedicated work areas outside the guest area.Furthermore, in this way living green plants can also be used in areas with insufficient light by regularly exchanging them in groups to compensate for longer periods in areas with better light.

[0023] According to a further advantageous development, the multi-purpose sanitary display stand is characterized by the fact that the plant tray insert is designed as a flower vase.

[0024] This container can hold water, which is used to nourish the cut flowers. The cut flowers are also placed in the vase.

[0025] According to another advantageous embodiment, the multi-purpose sanitary display stand is characterized by the fact that the planting tray insert is designed as a flower pot. It can hold a certain amount of soil or planting substrate into which a plant seedling can be planted as a green plant.

[0026] According to another advantageous further development, the multi-purpose sanitary display stand is characterized in that the interior in the upper end section of the base body is designed to accommodate a fragrance dispenser.

[0027] In this design, the planter insert does not occupy the entire volume of the upward-opening interior. Instead, a space remains below the planter insert. A fragrance dispenser can be easily placed here. It is covered by the planter insert and thus visually concealed. This also makes it particularly easy to check and replace the dispenser after removing the planter. Optionally, the base unit can have discreet side ventilation openings to enhance the fragrance dispenser's function. Another advantage is that, as is typical in bathrooms, the fragrance dispenser is positioned in close proximity to areas with particularly strong odors.

[0028] The invention is described as an embodiment by reference to Fig. 1 Oblique view of a schematic sectional view of the multi-purpose sanitary stand Fig. 2 Schematic front view of the multi-purpose sanitary unit explained in more detail.

[0029] In this context, identical reference symbols in different figures refer to the same features or components. These reference symbols are used in the description even if they are not shown in the figure in question.

[0030] The Fig. Figure 1 shows a schematic sectional view of the multi-purpose sanitary display unit as an oblique projection.

[0031] The base body 10 is designed as a vertically standing stainless steel square tube and represents the central component.

[0032] For stable positioning, a support foot 20 is attached to the lower end section 12. This foot is sufficiently heavy and wide to hold the attached base unit with its attached applications upright. It is also designed to be flat, taking up as little space as possible.

[0033] The base body 10 has mounting brackets 30 attached along its vertical extent. Depending on the desired configuration, different brackets are attached. In the present embodiment, two mounting brackets 30 are arranged: one for a toilet brush holder 32 and the other for a toilet paper holder 31. In another embodiment – not shown here – a hygiene wipe dispenser 33 and a hygiene bucket 34 are arranged as additional mounting brackets.

[0034] As a further essential component, a plant tray insert 40 is attached to the upper end section 11 of the main body 10. This insert is designed to hold plants that serve as decorative elements in interior design and create a suitable ambiance in high-end catering establishments. The plant tray insert 40 is specifically designed to be removable. This allows the plants to be easily and quickly replaced, adapting them to the current season, event, etc., or simplifying service.

[0035] The Fig. Figure 2 shows a schematic front view of the exemplary embodiment of the multi-purpose sanitary display stand. Attached to the base 10 are the support foot 20, the holding applications 30 with the toilet paper holder 31 and the toilet brush holder 32, and the plant tray insert 40, as shown in Figure 2.
