Description

[0001] The invention relates to a device for guiding the sliding gate of a sliding gate system according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] Sliding gates, for example those used to close off a courtyard entrance or factory premises, are often constructed as a single piece. Sliding gate systems with such sliding gates comprise roller blocks fastened to the ground to the side of the gate opening, in the so-called clamping area, on which the sliding gate is slidably mounted with a roller profile arranged on its underside. To guide the sliding gate laterally, two guide posts are anchored in the ground opposite each other in the clamping area on either side of the sliding gate. These posts have opposing guide rollers between which the sliding gate is guided. To drive the sliding gate, a longitudinal rack is usually arranged on the rack, into which a gear wheel of a drive engages.

[0003] The sliding gate's lateral guidance is particularly important for trouble-free operation, as it ensures that the sliding gate is positioned vertically on the roller blocks. A tilted position of the sliding gate on the roller blocks can lead to incorrect loading of the rollers. Furthermore, the engagement of the drive pinion with the sliding gate's rack can be compromised.

[0004] Lateral guidance is provided by guide rollers mounted on the sides of the guide posts. These rollers are adjustable for adjusting the sliding gate. They have a threaded rod screwed into a threaded hole in the guide post. Once a roller has been adjusted, its position can be secured by screwing on a lock nut.

[0005] Also known are so-called guide blocks. These are angled metal sheets with elongated holes through which a threaded axle of a guide roller is guided and then secured with nuts. A roller can be adjusted by simply loosening and sliding one of the roller axles along the elongated hole. To guide a sliding gate, a guide block can be attached to each guide post, or a guide block can be attached as a bridge between the two guide posts.

[0006] With the previously known solutions, it has been shown that the adjustment of the guide rollers can be hindered after some time due to corrosion and / or dirt, which is why the guide block must be replaced after a certain period of time.

[0007] This is where the present invention comes in. The invention is based on the object of providing a device for guiding the sliding gate of a sliding gate system, which ensures reliable adjustment of the guide rollers even after extended periods of use. According to the invention, this object is achieved by a device having the features of claim 1.

[0008] The invention provides a device for guiding the sliding gate of a sliding gate system, which ensures reliable adjustment of the guide rollers even after extended periods of time. Because the bridge part comprises a tubular channel piece that has at least one elongated hole and is arranged between the two guide posts, the threaded rod slidably guided in the elongated hole is comprehensively protected from environmental influences, thereby preventing any impairment of the adjustability of the at least one guide roller. Because the channel piece has an opening that is releasably closed by a cover, accessibility of the threaded rod from the outside is guaranteed at all times.

[0009] In a further development of the invention, the channel piece is essentially hollow cuboid-shaped and comprises a base part with a U-shaped cross-section, which has at least one elongated hole. The opening is formed by the open side, which is releasably closed by a cover. This improves accessibility to the threaded rods.

[0010] In an embodiment of the invention, the lid has locking means that are releasably engaged with locking means arranged on the sides bordering the opening. This enables tool-free opening and closing of the channel piece. Preferably, the locking means of the lid are formed by locking webs arranged on its longitudinal sides, and the locking centers of the base part are formed by locking grooves arranged on its longitudinal sides.

[0011] In a further embodiment of the invention, the at least two guide rollers each have a threaded rod guided through the rotational axis of the respective guide roller, which is guided through the slotted hole of the channel piece and secured thereto. The threaded rod is provided with a clamping device by means of which it can be fixed in various positions in the slotted hole. This enables easy adjustment of the guide rollers.

[0012] In a further development of the invention, the clamping means is formed by a first nut that is screwed onto the threaded rod. The first nut is preferably designed as a wing nut. This enables tool-free adjustment of the at least one guide roller.

[0013] In one embodiment of the invention, a second nut is arranged on the threaded rod on the side of the elongated hole opposite the first nut, which can be clamped against the first nut. This enables reliable fixation of the at least one guide roller in a set position. Alternatively, a collar can also be provided on the threaded rod, which rests against the channel piece.

[0014] In a further embodiment of the invention, a U-shaped guide plate is arranged in the channel section, the opposite legs of which are arranged on the end faces of the channel section and are each fastened to a guide post, preferably screwed thereto, wherein at least one second elongated hole is made in the guide plate, which is aligned with the at least one elongated hole in the channel section and which is preferably designed to correspond to the at least one elongated hole in the channel section, wherein the threaded rods of the at least two guide rollers are guided through the second elongated hole. This creates a stable, torsion-resistant mount for the guide rollers, thereby improving the guidance of a sliding gate. The channel section also protects the screw connection between the guide plate and the guide posts from the effects of the weather. For the rotationally fixed fastening of the guide plate, it can preferably be fastened to a guide post with at least one leg via at least two screws arranged at a distance from one another.

[0015] The guide plate is preferably made of a stable, torsion-free material, preferably a steel alloy. The channel section can be made of a softer material, since the forces absorbed by the guide rollers are transferred to the guide posts via the guide plate. For example, the channel section can be made of weather-resistant aluminum or stainless steel. It is also possible to construct the channel section from a weather-resistant plastic.

[0016] In a further development of the invention, the guide plate is connected to the base part in a form-fitting and / or force-fitting manner. This ensures a stable attachment of the channel piece to the guide plate. Preferably, at least one leg of the guide plate is additionally connected to the base part.

[0017] Further developments and refinements of the invention are specified in the remaining subclaims. An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawings and described in detail below. They show: Fig. 1 the schematic representation of a sliding gate system; Fig. 2 the detailed view of section “A” of the sliding gate of the sliding gate system from Fig. 1 in longitudinal section; Fig. 3 the representation of the section from Fig. 2 in cross section; Fig. 4 the schematic representation of the channel section of the bridge of the arrangement from Fig. 2.

[0018] The example chosen in Fig. 1, a sliding gate system 1, shown only schematically, comprises two roller blocks 11 fixed to the ground at a distance from one another, on which a sliding gate 12 is slidably mounted. On either side of the sliding gate 12, two guide posts 2 are anchored in the ground opposite one another in the clamping area. These posts are connected to one another via a bridge section 3, on which two oppositely arranged guide rollers 6 are arranged, between which the sliding gate 12 is guided. On the side of the area to be closed opposite the roller blocks 11, a stop post 13 is arranged, which is also anchored in the ground.

[0019] The bridge part 3 comprises a channel piece 4 in which a guide plate 5 is arranged, via which the bridge part 3 is connected to the two guide posts 2. In the exemplary embodiment, the channel piece 4 is made of aluminum and formed from a base part 41 with a U-shaped cross-section, which is releasably closed by a flat, rectangular cover 42. For this purpose, the cover 42 has a locking web 421 on its long sides, which can be releasably locked to a locking groove 411 arranged on the base part 41 (cf. Fig. 4). A slotted hole 413 is formed centrally in the bottom 412 of the base part 41 in the longitudinal direction.

[0020] The guide plate 5 is manufactured as a U-shaped sheet steel part, the length of which corresponds to the length of the channel section. A second elongated hole 52 is formed centrally in the guide plate 5 between its legs 51, which are set at an angle of 90° in the longitudinal direction. This second elongated hole corresponds to the elongated hole 413 of the base part 41. The guide plate 5 is arranged on the bottom 412 of the base part 41 of the channel section 4, with the second elongated hole 52 of the guide plate 5 being aligned with the elongated hole 413 of the base part 41, and with the legs 51 of the guide plate 5 forming the end faces of the bridge part 3. In the exemplary embodiment, the guide plate 5 is glued to the base part 1. Alternatively, the guide plate 5 and the base part 41 can also be riveted or screwed together. The guide plate 5 is screwed to each of the two guide posts 2 by means of screws 53 which are guided through holes provided for this purpose in the legs 51 of the guide plate 5.

[0021] The sliding gate 12 is guided between two guide rollers 6, each of which is rotatable about a threaded rod 61 having a screw head 62 at its end. The guide rollers 6 are held axially on the respective threaded rod 61 between the screw head 62 and a bearing nut 63 screwed onto the threaded rod 61. The threaded rods 61 of the two guide rollers 6 are guided at a distance from one another through the aligned elongated holes 413, 52 of the base part 41 and the guide plate 5, with a first nut 64 and a second nut 65 being screwed onto each of the threaded rods, with the first nut 64 resting on the guide plate 5 and the second nut 65 resting on the base part 41 (cf. Fig. 2). By tightening the first nut 64 and the second nut 65 against each other, the guide rollers 6 are fixed in a respectively adjusted position. The end sections of the threaded rods 61 with the first nuts 64 screwed onto them are arranged within the channel piece 4 closed by the cover 42, whereby this screw connection is protected from environmental influences. This prevents any impairment of loosening a first nut 64 for adjusting the position of a guide roller 6 along the mutually aligned elongated holes 413, 52. We Fig.As can be seen in Figure 3, the screw heads 54 of the screws 53, by which the guide plate 5 is screwed to the two guide posts 2, are also arranged within the channel section 4. The end threaded section of these screws 5, onto which a nut 55 is screwed, is arranged within the profile of one of the two guide posts 2, which is why these screw connections are also protected from environmental influences. The profiles of the guide posts 2 are closed by covers 21 that are slipped over the guide posts 2.
