AI Technical Summary
The manual processing of workpieces with multiple similar steps is cumbersome, requiring frequent repositioning and reclamping, especially in transitioning from individual to small-series production.
A stop rod with incremental holes is used, allowing a centering pen to mark new processing points, simplifying the repositioning process by enabling precise adjustments in specified increments.
This solution significantly simplifies and accelerates the repositioning process, reducing the complexity and time required for multiple processing steps on workpieces.

Abstract
Description
SUBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The invention relates to an aid for the efficient manual processing of workpieces with a fixed offset. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] For manual machining, workpieces are clamped in a clamping device, such as a vise, to prevent them from slipping during processing. They are usually fixed in position with a workpiece stop. This allows several identical workpieces to be quickly clamped for the same machining process.
[0003] To perform multiple machining steps on a workpiece, it is conventionally clamped into a suitable fixture and either the tool or the workpiece is repositioned after the first machining operation to allow for easy re-machining.
[0004] If a workpiece is to be treated with several similar machining steps, it is advantageous to clamp it in a movable fixture. However, it is cumbersome to remeasure this fixture each time. TASK OF INVENTION
[0005] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a tool with which repositioning can be carried out quickly and accurately.
[0006] Such devices are already known as workpiece stops and are offered in various designs. However, even with these, the workpiece must be re-clamped and measured using a measuring instrument after each machining step.
[0007] This is particularly cumbersome when transitioning from individual production to the manual production of small series. TASK OF INVENTION
[0008] The object of the present invention is therefore to simplify and accelerate this process. INVENTIVE STEP
[0009] Conventional setting gauges are placed at a fixed starting point and moved in incremental steps relative to the axis of the machining tool, with each step being measured.
[0010] The inventive step here is to provide the attached measuring sensor with holes spaced at intervals of these increments and to secure it with a pin through these holes. SOLUTION
[0011] The object of the present invention is achieved by guiding a stop rod through the head of the stop and drilling through it at the predetermined increments of the offset.
[0012] A centering pin can be inserted through these holes, marking a new machining point each time it is offset by one hole. This significantly simplifies the machining process. DESCRIPTION BASED ON THE DRAWINGS
[0013] Fig. Figure 1 shows a workpiece (1) which is arranged to be displaceable in a guide plate (4, not shown) by means of a clamping device (2) by means of T-nuts (3).
[0014] The stop rod (6) provided with the incremental bores (5) can be moved by the centering pins (7) in the increments thus specified and can be adjusted to the intended dimension by pushing the centering pins through the respective bore.
Claims
