Abstract

Axis range limiting body (10) for use on a stop device for the mechanical limitation of a maximum travel path of a robot axis on a robot device (1), comprising: - a metallic base body (14) with a fastening means (15) designed for rigidly connecting the axis range limiting body (10) to a base frame (5), a carousel (6) or a first member (3.1) a robot device (1),- at least one metallic deformation body (16) rigidly connected to the metallic base body (14), which is designed to strike a stop (13) of the robot device (1) when the maximum travel distance is exceeded and to deform plastically depending on the kinetic energy to be dissipated to stop the robot device (1) in order to convert the kinetic energy of the robot device (1) into deformation work in the metallic deformation body (16).
