Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELDThe present utility model relates to the technical field of adapter hoses, specifically an adapter assembly.PRIOR ARTMain pipelines are widely used on the market and are most frequently pushed onto faucets and vacuum cleaner connections. Thus, water can flow out from a faucet safely and efficiently through an adapter pipe. Further, extension of a vacuum cleaner port is made possible for more convenient waste disposal. Most of the main pipelines available on the market are pushed directly onto liquid or gas ducts. However, since they do not have a fixing device, they can be easily broken off in use by water pressure or air pressure, which requires frequent re-attachment to the liquid or gas channels. This is not only impractical, but also uncertain in use. In addition, these main pipes can only be pushed onto liquid or gas channels with certain shapes and no pushing onto differently shaped liquid or gas channels is possible.CONTENT OF THE PRESENT INVENTIONThe present invention is based on the object of providing an adapter assembly in view of the deficiencies and the disadvantages in the prior art, which adapter assembly comprises:a main pipe provided for the flow of gas or liquid;an adapter flexible tubing, said adapter tubing having a proximal end and a distal end opposite said proximal end of said adapter tubing, said distal end of said adapter tubing being adapted to be releasably connected to a liquid channel or a gas channel, and said adapter tubing being sealingly connected to said main tubing so as to prevent leakage of gas or liquid at the junction between said adapter tubing and said main tubing. As a development of the present utility model, it is provided that the proximal end of the adapter pipe is formed and connected in one piece with the main pipe.As a development of the present utility model, it is provided that the proximal end of the adapter pipe is detachably connected to the main pipe.As a development of the present invention, it is provided that the main pipe comprises an extension pipe and a connection pipe, wherein one end of the connection pipe is connected to and communicates with the extension pipe, while the other end of the connection pipe has an inlet which communicates with the liquid channel or the gas channel. As a development of the present invention, it is provided that the one end of the connection pipe is formed and connected in one piece with the extension pipe and communicates therewith; or that the one end of the connection pipe is detachably connected to the extension pipe and communicates therewith. As a development of the present invention, it is provided that the material of the extension pipeline and the material of the connection pipeline are identical, wherein the length of the extension pipeline is greater than the length of the connection pipeline; wherein the material of the main pipeline is different from that of the adapter pipeline, wherein the main pipeline is a flexible main pipeline, the adapter pipeline is an elastic adapter pipeline and the elasticity of the adapter pipeline is greater than the elasticity of the main pipeline. As a development of the present utility model, it is provided that the adapter pipe is a rubber adapter pipe, a silicone adapter pipe or a latex adapter pipe.As a further development of the present invention, it is provided that the radius of the distal end of the adapter pipe is smaller than the radius of the liquid channel or gas channel, wherein, when the adapter pipe is pushed onto the liquid channel or gas channel, the elastic restoring force of the adapter pipe generated by expansion causes the inner surface of the adapter pipe to be pressed firmly against the outer surface of the liquid channel or gas channel, whereby the inner surface of the adapter pipe is pressed sealingly against the outer surface of the liquid channel or gas channel; and that the radius of the proximal end of the adapter pipe is smaller than or equal to the radius of the connection pipe; wherein, when the adaptor pipe is slid onto the adaptor pipe, the elastic restoring force of the adaptor pipe generated by stretching causes the inner surface of the adaptor pipe to be firmly pressed against the outer surface of the adaptor pipe, thereby pressing the inner surface of the adaptor pipe sealingly against the outer surface of the adaptor pipe.As a development of the present utility model, it is provided that a corrugation is provided between an outlet and an inlet of the main pipeline, along which corrugation the main pipeline can be bent.As a development of the present invention, it is provided that a part of the connection pipeline lies within the adapter pipeline; wherein the end of the part of the connection pipeline lying within the adapter pipeline has an inlet which serves for connection to the liquid channel or gas channel; and wherein the inlet of the part of the connection pipeline lying within the adapter pipeline is pushed onto the liquid channel or gas channel and is thus in plug connection.By using the above technical solution, the present utility model has the following advantageous effects: The present utility model provides an adapter assembly comprising a main pipe for passing gas or liquid and an elastic adapter pipe. The adapter tubing has a proximal end and a distal end opposite the proximal end of the adapter tubing. The distal end of the adapter tubing is for releasable connection to a liquid channel or gas channel. The adapter pipe is detachably connected to the main pipe to prevent leakage of gas or liquid at the joint between the adapter pipe and the main pipe. By expanding the distal end of the adapter pipe and pushing it onto the liquid channel or gas channel, the elastic restoring force of the expanded adapter pipe due to its elasticity causes the inner surface of the adapter pipe to be firmly pressed against the outer surface of the liquid channel or gas channel, whereby the inner surface of the adapter pipe is sealingly pressed against the outer surface of the liquid channel or gas channel. This leads to more stable fixation of the main pipe and the liquid channel or gas channel to each other, makes it difficult for the adapter pipe to be broken off by water pressure or air pressure, and can effectively prevent leakage of gas or water at the joint between the adapter pipe and the liquid channel or gas channel. Those skilled in the art, having read this description, can make non-inventive changes to the present embodiment as required, all such changes that are within the scope of the claims of the present utility model being protected by the patent law.Reference is made to Figures 1 to 9. The present embodiment relates to an adapter assembly. It comprises:a main pipe 1 provided for the passage of gas or liquid;an adapter flexible pipe 2, the adapter pipe 2 having a proximal end and a distal end opposite to the proximal end of the adapter pipe 2, the distal end of the adapter pipe 2 being for detachably connecting to a liquid channel or a gas channel, and the adapter pipe 2 being tightly connected to the main pipe 1 so as to prevent leakage of gas or liquid at the joint between the adapter pipe 2 and the main pipe 1.The above structure includes a main pipe 1 for passing gas or liquid therethrough and an elastic adapter pipe 2. the adapter pipe 2 has a proximal end and a distal end opposite to the proximal end of the adapter pipe 2. The distal end of the adapter pipe 2 is used for detachable connection to a liquid channel or gas channel. The adapter pipe 2 is detachably connected to the main pipe 1 to prevent leakage of gas or liquid at the joint between the adapter pipe 2 and the main pipe 1. Moreover, the adapter pipe is made elastic, whereby it is suitable for gas or liquid channels of various types and shapes, which enables a better connection between the main pipe and the liquid or gas channel. The adapter pipe serves here for connection to a faucet 6 or a vacuum cleaner 7.In the present embodiment, the proximal end of the adapter pipe 2 is integrally molded and connected to the main pipe 1. Here, the proximal end of the adapter pipe 2 is integrally molded and connected to the main pipe 1 by two-shot injection molding, hot melt bonding or solvent bonding. By the above structure, the connection between the main pipe and the adapter pipe is made more stable, the detachment of the main pipe from the adapter pipe is prevented, and the tightness between the main pipe and the adapter pipe is effectively increased. Here, the proximal end of the adapter pipe 2 is integrally molded with one end of the connection pipe 3 by the technique of two-shot injection molding, hot melt bonding or solvent bonding. In some embodiments, the proximal end of the adapter tubing 2 is detachably connected to the main tubing 1. With the above structure, the user is allowed to easily disassemble and replace the main pipe.In the present embodiment, the main pipe 1 includes an extension pipe 5 and a connection pipe 3. one end of the connection pipe 3 is connected to and communicates with the extension pipe, while the other end of the connection pipe has an inlet communicating with the liquid channel or the gas channel. A part of the connection pipe 3 lies within the adapter pipe 2. the end of the part of the connection pipe 3 lying within the adapter pipe 2 is provided with an inlet 31 which serves for connection to the liquid channel or gas channel. The inlet of the part of the connecting pipe 3 lying within the adapter pipe 2 is pushed onto the liquid channel or gas channel and is thus in plug connection. By the above structure, a primary seal is achieved by sliding the inlet of the part of the connection pipe 3 lying inside the adapter pipe 2 onto the liquid channel or gas channel and being in plug connection therewith, while a secondary seal is achieved by pressing the elastic adapter pipe sealingly against the outer surface of the liquid or gas channel. In the present embodiment, it is arranged that the one end of the connection pipe 3 is integrally formed and connected to the extension pipe and communicates therewith; or that the one end of the connection pipe is detachably connected to and communicates with the extension pipe. By the above structure, not only the user is facilitated to exchange and maintain the extension pipe, but also the connection between the connection pipe and the adapter pipe is stabilized, thereby preventing the connection pipe from being detached from the adapter pipe and effectively improving the tightness between the connection pipe and the adapter pipe.In the present embodiment, the material of the extension pipe 5 and the material of the connection pipe 3 are identical, and the length of the extension pipe 5 is greater than the length of the connection pipe 3. The adapter pipe 2 is an elastic adapter pipe 2, and the elasticity of the adapter pipe 2 is greater than the elasticity of the main pipe 1, and the adapter pipe 2 is a rubber adapter pipe, a silicone adapter pipe, or a latex adapter pipe. Specifically, the main pipe is a resin main pipe. By the above structure, the main pipe is tightly connected to the liquid or gas passage by means of the adapter pipe having high elasticity. In the present embodiment, the radius of the distal end of the adapter pipe 2 is smaller than the radius of the liquid channel or gas channel. When the adapter pipe 2 is slid onto the liquid channel or gas channel, the elastic restoring force of the adapter pipe 2 generated by expansion causes the inner surface of the adapter pipe 2 to be firmly pressed against the outer surface of the liquid channel or gas channel, whereby the inner surface of the adapter pipe 2 is sealingly pressed against the outer surface of the liquid channel or gas channel. The radius of the proximal end of the adapter pipe 2 is equal to or smaller than the radius of the connection pipe 3, and when the adapter pipe 2 is slid onto the connection pipe 3, the elastic restoring force of the adapter pipe 2 generated by expansion causes the inner surface of the adapter pipe 2 to be firmly pressed against the outer surface of the connection pipe 3, thereby pressing the inner surface of the adapter pipe 2 sealingly against the outer surface of the connection pipe 3.In the present embodiment, between an outlet and an inlet of the main pipe 1, there is provided a corrugation 4 along which the main pipe can be bent. By the above structure, the main pipe can be bent along the corrugation 4, whereby adjustment of the pipe angle can be facilitated to adjust the outflow angle at the outlet of the main pipe. In the present embodiment, the extension pipe 5 has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end of the extension pipe 5. The first end of the extension pipe 5 is provided with an outlet. One end of the connection pipe 3 is connected to the second end of the extension pipe 5, while the other end of the connection pipe 3 is integrally formed and connected to the proximal end of the adapter pipe 2. Specifically, the inner diameter of the second end of the extension pipe 5 is smaller than the outer diameter of the connection pipe 3.Only technical solutions of the present invention have been explained so far, which do not represent a restriction.
