Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The invention relates to a child seat for motor vehicles which can also be attached to a stroller. BACKGROUND
[0002] Child seats for transporting a child in a motor vehicle are known from the prior art. To expand the application range of such child seats, it is known to provide a mechanical interface with which the child seat can also be attached to a stroller or buggy, allowing it to be used outside of a motor vehicle. Adapters can be attached to the stroller for attachment, providing an attachment point. Typically, the attachment point is designed as a projection that is received in a mounting area of the child seat.
[0003] The attachment points of common strollers are subject to considerable tolerance variations. Therefore, common child seats cannot always be optimally attached to such attachment points. SUMMARY
[0004] The object of the invention is to provide an improved child seat. In particular, it is an object to provide a child seat that allows for improved, detachable attachment to a stroller.
[0005] The problem is solved by the subject matter described in the independent claim. Advantageous further developments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
[0006] According to one embodiment, a child seat is provided. The child seat can be a motor vehicle child seat designed to be mounted in a motor vehicle. Furthermore, the child seat is designed to be attached to a stroller.
[0007] According to one embodiment, the child seat has a stroller coupling portion that is releasably engageable with a stroller coupling interface provided on the stroller.
[0008] The child seat may further comprise a motor vehicle coupling portion that is releasably engageable with a motor vehicle coupling interface provided in a motor vehicle and is configured differently from the stroller coupling portion. The motor vehicle coupling portion may be configured for coupling to a fastening system of the motor vehicle, for example, an ISOFIX system. The motor vehicle coupling portion may be configured for coupling to a child seat base that is mountable on a motor vehicle seat. The motor vehicle coupling portion may comprise a fastening system that enables the child seat to be secured using a seat belt.
[0009] According to one embodiment, the stroller coupling section has a receiving area designed to receive a coupling section of the stroller coupling interface. The receiving area is designed to receive the coupling section without play.
[0010] According to one embodiment, the receiving area has a flexible receiving space configured so that the coupling section can be inserted into the receiving area while expanding the receiving space. The receiving area can be formed at least partially by a housing, in particular by a housing that is open at the bottom.
[0011] According to one embodiment, the receiving space and the coupling section are configured to form a kind of interference fit with each other. The receiving space and the coupling section can be dimensioned such that there is a positive interference between them.
[0012] According to one embodiment, a receiving space defined in the receiving area is smaller than the outer dimension of the coupling section.
[0013] According to one embodiment, the receiving space is delimited by one or more spring sections provided in the receiving area. These spring sections can be provided such that they are pushed outward or compressed upon insertion of the coupling section. For example, the receiving space can be formed between three side walls and a spring section provided on another side wall. According to one embodiment, spring sections can be provided on several side walls, for example, on opposite side walls.
[0014] According to one embodiment, a spring device is provided on at least one side wall of the receiving area. This spring device can be, for example, a leaf spring. Alternatively or additionally, one or more spring-mounted bolts or spring-loaded pressure screws can be provided.
[0015] According to one embodiment, the receiving area comprises a two-part housing with a first housing part and a second housing part. These housing parts can be biased toward each other by means of a urging component, for example, a spring. Inserting the coupling section is then only possible by pushing the housing parts apart against the preload force applied by the urging component. The housing parts can clamp the coupling section between them.
[0016] According to one embodiment, the stroller coupling section has a locking mechanism. This locking mechanism can be configured to positively lock the coupling section in the receiving area. The child seat can further have a release mechanism for actuating the locking mechanism. The release mechanism can have an actuating section actuatable by a user. This actuating section can be operatively coupled to the locking mechanism such that the locking mechanism is transferred to a release state upon actuation of the actuating section. In this release state, the receiving area can be removed from the coupling section.
[0017] According to one embodiment, the locking mechanism comprises a locking portion. This locking portion can be movable between a locking position and an unlocking position. In the locking position, the locking portion can be positioned in the receiving area such that it can engage with an engagement portion provided on the coupling portion. In the unlocking position, the locking portion can be moved out of the receiving area and disengaged from a coupling portion received in the receiving area. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0020] Embodiments and modifications are described with reference to the Fig. 1 to 6.
[0021] Disclosed is a child seat 1 with a stroller coupling section 2. The child seat 1 may further comprise a motor vehicle coupling section 3. As shown in the Fig. 1 and Fig. As shown in Figure 2, the stroller coupling section 2 is detachably engageable with a stroller coupling interface 4 provided on a stroller 5. The motor vehicle coupling section 3 is detachably engageable with a motor vehicle coupling interface (not shown in detail) provided in a motor vehicle. The stroller coupling section 2 and the motor vehicle coupling section 3 are designed differently.
[0022] As in the Fig. As can be seen in Figures 3 to 6, the stroller coupling section 2 has a receiving area 21 designed to receive a coupling section 41 of the stroller coupling interface 4. The receiving area 21 is designed to receive the coupling section 41 without play in order to ensure a secure and stable connection.
[0023] In a preferred embodiment, the receiving area 21 has a flexible receiving space 211 which is designed such that the coupling section 41 can be inserted into the receiving area 21 by widening the receiving space 211.
[0024] The receiving space 211 and the coupling section 41 are configured to form a type of interference fit with each other. The receiving space 211 and the coupling section 41 are dimensioned such that a positive interference exists between them. This means that a receiving space 211 defined in the receiving area 21 is smaller than the outer dimensions of the coupling section 41, so that when the coupling section 41 is inserted into the receiving space 211, parts of the receiving area must be deformed or displaced.
[0025] In a further embodiment, the receiving space 211 is delimited by at least one spring section 212 provided in the receiving area 21. Each spring section 212 is designed such that it is pushed outward or compressed when the coupling section 41 is inserted. This enables simple and secure, play-free installation of the child seat 1 on the stroller 5.
[0026] On at least one side wall 213 of the receiving area 21, a spring device 214 (see Fig. 4) or several spring devices 214 (see Fig. 6), for example one or more leaf springs (see Fig. 4) or one or more spring-loaded pressure screws (see Fig. 6).
[0027] In a further embodiment, the receiving area 21 has a two-part housing 215 with a first housing part 2151 and a second housing part 2152 (see Fig. 5). These housing parts 2151, 2152 are preloaded toward each other by a urging component 216, for example, a tensile component such as a spring. Insertion of the coupling section 41 is only possible by pushing the housing parts 2151, 2152 apart against the preload force applied by the urging component 216. The housing parts 2151, 2152 clamp the coupling section 41 between them, ensuring a secure and stable connection.
[0028] The stroller coupling section 2 further comprises a locking mechanism 22 which is designed to lock the coupling section 41 in the receiving area 21 in a form-fitting manner (see Fig. 3).
[0029] The child seat 1 also includes a release mechanism 23 for actuating the locking mechanism 22. The release mechanism 23 has a user-actuated actuating portion 231, which is operatively coupled to the locking mechanism 22 such that the locking mechanism 22 is transferred into a release state upon actuation of the actuating portion 231. In this release state, the receiving area 21 can be removed from the coupling portion 41.
[0030] The locking mechanism 22 has a locking portion 221 that is movable between a locking position and an unlocking position. In the locking position, the locking portion 221 is positioned in the receiving area 21 such that it can engage with an engagement portion 411 provided on the coupling portion 41. In the unlocking position, the locking portion 221 is moved out of the receiving area 21 and disengaged from a coupling portion 41 received in the receiving area 21.
[0031] The described arrangement enables a secure and stable connection between the child seat 1 and the stroller 5 as well as a simple and safe assembly and disassembly of the child seat 1. The flexible design of the receiving space 211 and the use of spring sections 212 and spring devices 214 ensure a secure and play-free connection.
