Description

Technical area

[0001] The present application relates to a toilet lid with handle. State of the art

[0002] Conventional toilet lids don't have handles. To lift the lid, you have to hold it by the edges, which is impractical and unhygienic.

[0003] There are some retrofittable toilet lid lifters available in the state of the art, such as one published in China under patent number CN204306749U, which is attached to the underside of the seat ring with adhesive. However, the adhesive elements of these toilet lid lifters are attached with double-sided tape, which easily peels off in humid environments. Furthermore, the adhesive elements are thick, which can easily create a gap between the seat ring and the toilet, preventing the lid from closing properly. Contents of this application

[0019] The present application is explained in more detail with reference to the attached drawings. Embodiment 1

[0020] With reference to Fig. 1 to 8, a toilet lid with handle comprises a seat ring 1 and a cover plate 4, which are pivotally mounted, as well as a handle element 2.

[0021] A first insertion part 11 is arranged on a bottom side of the seat ring 1; the handle element 2 comprises a main part 21 and a handle part 22; a second insertion part 23 is arranged on an inner side of the main part 21; the second insertion part 23 is inserted into the first insertion part 11 so that the handle part 22 is connected to the bottom of the seat ring 1; the handle part 22 extends from one end of the main part 21 outwards towards the seat ring 1.

[0022] The handle part 22 is circular.

[0023] The grip element 2 of the present technical solution is easy to attach and does not easily fall out due to the fit of the second insert part 23 into the first insert part 11. Furthermore, the second insert part 23 does not protrude excessively from the underside of the seat ring, thus not impairing the covering effect of the seat ring 1.

[0024] Specifically, the first insert part 11 is a groove; the second insert part 23 is installed in the groove; the second insert part 23 includes an outer frame 231 conforming to the shape of the groove and reinforcing ribs 232 fixedly mounted in the outer frame 231, the outer frame 231 closely abutting the wall of the groove; the reinforcing ribs 232 are arranged crosswise to form a plurality of recesses 233.

[0025] The second insert part 23 of the present technical solution is not solid, which means that the recesses 233 save material and reduce costs. Furthermore, the reinforcing ribs 232 in the outer frame 231 serve as support and prevent the outer frame 231 from deforming and loosening.

[0026] On the inside of the handle part 22, a recess 221 is provided which fits the edge of the seat ring 1; the edge of the seat ring 1 falls into the recess 221.

[0027] The present technical solution provides that the handle part 22 has the recess 221 which fits to the edge of the seat ring 1, thereby further reducing the height of the projection on the underside of the seat ring 1 and thus reducing the impairment of the covering effect of the seat ring 1.

[0028] The base of the seat ring 1 is provided with several cushions 3. Each cushion 3 comprises a buffer part 31 protruding from a seat ring underside 12, which rests against a toilet body and provides a cushioning effect. In this embodiment, the cushion 3 has a connecting part identical to the second insert part 23, which serves to interlock with the first insert part 11, thus creating a secure connection.
