Abstract

[1] Helmet lining (1), comprising: - a base material (2) having an inner folded part (21) in the center and two outer folded parts (22) on two corresponding side edges, wherein the inner folded part (21) is folded inwards and the two outer folded parts (22) are folded outwards, wherein a front end part (23) is formed at the front end of the base material (2) and a rear end part (24) is formed at the rear end of the same; and - two hot melt adhesive yarns (3), each arranged at the front and rear end parts (23, 24) of the base material (2) and provided for fixing the edges of the inner folded part (21) and the outer folded parts (22); and - two flexible slats (4) which are each arranged between the base material (2) and the outer folding parts (22); characterized by, that the outer folding parts (22) are stretched on the two corresponding side edges of the base material (2) in such a way that a three-dimensional space is created over which the user places the helmet lining (1) on his head to protect his head from contamination.
