Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a backpack, in particular a backpack for rescue workers, with a compartment for storing a cloth, in particular a rescue cloth.
[0002] Currently, carrying sheets are typically transported in the main compartment of backpacks or in separate externally accessible pockets. If such a carrying sheet is needed in an emergency, the backpack must first be removed, the corresponding pocket opened, and the carrying sheet taken out. Only then can the carrying sheet be unfolded and the person to be transported placed on it. This results in a loss of time and hinders the rapid evacuation of injured or immobilized persons, particularly in tactical or emergency medical service operations.
[0003] The object of the invention is therefore to provide a backpack in which a carrying sling stored in the backpack is particularly quick and easy to access, so that an evacuation can be initiated without loss of time.

[0005] According to the invention, a compartment is provided in one wall of the backpack, preferably in the bottom area, in which a removable, expandable cloth, in particular a rescue cloth, can be stored. The cloth compartment is arranged and designed such that the cloth can be removed without having to put the backpack down or open it.
[0006] This allows for particularly quick access to the rescue sheet, saving valuable time during evacuations. In particular, it ensures that rescue workers can deploy the sheet immediately without having to completely remove the backpack first.
[0007] It has proven advantageous for the cloth compartment to have an opening to the outside that can be closed by a flap. The flap is designed so that, when inserted, it reliably secures the cloth in the compartment and releases it only by applying a deformation force. This ensures the cloth is securely stowed, but according to a further advantageous embodiment, it can be immediately removed when needed by pulling on a carrying loop protruding from the compartment.
[0008] It is also advantageous if the flap is trapezoidal, with the free end forming the longer base of the trapezoid, and the flap, due to its sloping sides, automatically pulls itself into the cloth compartment. This results in a self-locking function of the flap, which prevents the cloth from unintentionally falling out.

Claims
[1] Backpack (1), especially a backpack for rescue workers, characterized by , that a cloth compartment (2) is provided in a wall (10), preferably in the bottom area (11), in which a removable, deployable cloth (3), in particular a rescue cloth (3), can be stored, wherein the cloth compartment (2) is arranged and designed in such a way that the cloth (3) can be removed without having to put down and / or open the backpack (1) for removal.
