Abstract

Hair clipper with an electric motor, motor control and power supply arranged in the housing, characterized in that the hair clipper has an active hair lifter which, during operation, lifts hairs from the skin surface and guides them into a cutting zone, and in that a rotating cutter mounted on an inclined cutter axis is provided in this cutting zone, the cutting edges of which cut the lifted hairs at a tangential cutting angle almost flush with the skin, wherein a cutter cover prevents direct contact between the skin and the rotating cutter and lateral guide elements orient the hairs towards the cutting zone.
