[0001] The invention relates to a water treading device with at least one basin for receiving water.

[0002] Water treading in shallow pools is widespread. It was initiated by Mr. Kneipp and is used in many spas, saunas, and swimming pools.

[0003] For example, a pool is filled with water to a height of 40 cm above the bottom of the pool; handrails can be provided on the outside of the pool or even inside the pool to allow older or disabled people to use the pool for water treading.

[0004] Water treading devices of the aforementioned type have also been proposed for domestic use, particularly where a property is available. For example, such a water treading device could be installed in a garden.
