Abstract

Ratchet screwdriver (1) comprising a handle (10); a toothed ring (20) having a ring section (21) and a neck section (22) connected to the ring section (21), wherein the inner wall surface of the ring section (21) is provided with a plurality of ratchet teeth (211), and wherein the neck section (22) is inserted into the working end (11) of the handle (10); a ring sleeve (30) arranged in the ring section (21), wherein the outer circumferential surface of the ring sleeve (30) is provided with a hole (31), a plurality of receptacles (32) and a switching groove (33), and wherein the ring sleeve (30) forms a first stop wall (34) on one side of the switching groove (33) and a second stop wall (35) on the other side;a rotary knob (40) comprising a rotary cap (41) and a switching rod (42) arranged in the rotary cap (41), the rotary cap (41) being mounted on the toothed ring (20) and having a locking block (43) and a plurality of recesses (410) on its inner wall, the switching rod (42) projecting into the switching groove (33) and bearing against the first stop wall (34) or the second stop wall (35) by rotation of the rotary cap (41); a locking unit (50) comprising an elastic element (51), a steel ball (52) and a plurality of locking sets (53), the elastic element (51) being arranged in the hole (31), the steel ball (52) being pre-tensioned by the elastic element (51) such that it is positioned in one of the recesses (410), the locking sets (53) being arranged in the respective receptacles (32) and each being engaged by one of the ratchet teeth (211) be blocked or pressed down;and a blade (60) that penetrates the rotating cap (41), the through-hole (300) of the ring sleeve (30) and the toothed ring (20) and is fixed in the handle (10).
