Abstract

Pedal simulator, comprising: a damper housing; a damper holder coupled to a first side of the damper housing; a damper piston positioned on a second side of the damper housing opposite the first side and movably arranged within the damper housing; a damper received within the damper housing and configured to be compressively deformed by being brought into contact with the damper holder by movement of the damper piston; and a pushrod configured to push the damper piston, the damper comprising: a first body section configured in a column shape and configured to be compressively deformed by being brought into contact with the damper holder when the damper piston moves beyond a first preset distance;and a second body section, connected to the first body section, formed in a column shape with a larger cross-sectional area than that of the first body section and designed to be compressively deformed by being brought into contact with the damper holder when the damper piston moves beyond a second preset distance which is longer than the first preset distance.
