Abstract

Modular manually vertically pivotable ventilation fan for a chimney, characterized in that the ventilation fan comprises a cold aluminum base, a fan module, a pivot support, an aluminum support, and a connecting component for connecting the pivot support to the aluminum support, wherein the top of the cold aluminum base is detachably or permanently mounted to the bottom of the pivot support, wherein the aluminum support is rotatably mounted to the pivot support by the connecting component, such that the aluminum support is rotatable between a first direction and a second direction, the angle between the first direction and the second direction being 0° to 90°; wherein the fan module comprises an electric motor and fan blades, wherein the electric motor has an output, wherein the electric motor is mounted on the connecting component, and the fan blades are mounted on the output;wherein the connecting component comprises a first connecting plate and a damping element, wherein the first connecting plate serves to mount the electric motor, and wherein the damping element serves to maintain any angle between the first direction and the second direction in a stable state when the aluminium support is adjusted to that angle.
