Description

Technical field

[0001] The present utility model relates to a process cartridge for removable installation in the main assembly of an electrophotographic imaging device. Background technology

[0002] Process cartridges are typically removable and installed in the main assembly of electrophotographic imaging devices such as laser printers, copiers, and fax machines. The electrophotographic imaging device uniformly charges the electrophotographic light-sensitive component, which serves as the image carrier, and selectively exposes it. This creates a latent image. The latent image is then developed with a developer to make it visible as a developer image. The developer image is subsequently transferred to a recording medium. The developer image transferred to the recording medium is fixed by applying heat and pressure. This process records the image. Existing process cartridges are typically equipped with chips whose contacts establish a communication link with the electrophotographic imaging device by engaging with the contact pins in the main assembly of the electrophotographic imaging device. This allows the electrophotographic imaging device to retrieve information about the process cartridge, such as whether it is installed and its specifications. However, in some process cartridges, the cartridge can be deflected during the separation of the developing component and the photosensitive drum, creating a risk of an electrical break between the chip and the contact pins. Example 1

[0032] With reference to the figures appended to claim CN105929661B, the process cartridge is detachably installed in an electrophotographic imaging device. Specifically, the process cartridge can be mounted along the vertical direction (the second direction) on the slot assembly, and the process cartridge can be installed via the slot assembly of the electrophotographic imaging device on the main body (also referred to as the main assembly) of the imaging device, which is used to generate images on the recording medium. The process cartridge is mounted on the slot assembly and moves in and out of the main body. The insertion unit is configured to move together with the process cartridge along a first direction from an extension position located outside the main body to an installation position located inside the main body; the insertion unit is provided with a plurality of insertion compartments 70, each insertion compartment 70 accommodating a process cartridge 100.

[0033] With reference to the Fig. 7A and Fig. 7B of the description of patent CN105929661B or Fig. In Section 1A of the present application, the imaging device 1 is provided with a rotary stop projection 47, which allows the position of the process cartridge 100 to be restricted when the process cartridge 100 is mounted in the imaging device; in particular, the rotary stop projection 47 is provided within the main body of the imaging device 1.

[0034] The process cartridge 100 can be a developer cartridge with a developing component, a drum cartridge with a photosensitive component, or an integrated cartridge containing both a developing component and a photosensitive component.

[0035] As in the Fig. 1C, Fig. 1D, Fig. 2 and Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the longitudinal direction of the process cartridge is defined as X, the vertical direction in the installed state within the imaging device is defined as Z, and the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal and vertical directions is defined as Y.The process cartridge 100 in this embodiment comprises a developing unit 1 and a photosensitive unit 2, wherein the developing unit 1 and the photosensitive unit 2 are connected to each other in such a way that relative movement is possible; in particular, the developing unit 1 and the photosensitive unit 2 are connected via a side part located at the longitudinal end X of the process cartridge 100, which allows the developing unit 1 and the photosensitive unit 2 to rotate relative to each other; wherein the side part can either be part of the developing unit 1 or the photosensitive unit 2, or can be an independently configured component; the side part is attached to the longitudinal end of the process cartridge.

[0036] The development unit 1 comprises a development component 11, a toner feed component 12, a first drive element 13, a first conductive element 14, and a first frame 15. The first frame 15 is essentially rectangular in shape. The development component 11 and the toner feed component 12 are rotatably mounted on the first frame 15. The toner feed component 12 faces the development component 11, allowing the toner contained in the first frame 15 to be fed to the development component 11. The first drive element 13 is positioned longitudinally at the first end of the process cartridge and can receive a drive force from the electrophotographic imaging device to rotate the development component 11 and the toner feed component 12. The first conductive element 14 is located at the second end opposite the first end and serves to supply power to the development component 11.

[0037] The photosensitive unit 2 comprises a photosensitive component 21, a charging component 22, a second drive element 23, a second conductive element 24, and a second frame 25. The photosensitive component 21 and the charging component 22 are rotatably mounted on the second frame 25. The photosensitive component 21 faces the developing component 11 to enable imaging operations. The developing component 11 supplies the photosensitive component 21 with toner to develop the electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the photosensitive component 21. The charging component 22 charges the photosensitive component 21. The second drive element 23 is positioned longitudinally at the first end of the process cartridge and can receive a drive force from the electrophotographic imaging device to rotate the photosensitive unit 2.The second conductive element 24 is located at the second end opposite the first end and serves to supply power to the light-sensitive unit 2 or the charging component 22.

[0038] In the following, along the Z-direction, the side with the photosensitive component 21 / developing component 11 is considered the top, while the opposite side is considered the bottom. Along the X-direction, the side with the first drive element 13 / second drive element 23 is considered the right side, while the opposite side is considered the left side. Along the Y-direction, the direction of development unit 1 facing the photosensitive unit 2 is considered the reverse direction, while the opposite direction is considered the forward direction.

[0039] As in the Fig. As shown in Figures 1 to 6, in this embodiment the side part forms part of the photosensitive unit 2 and comprises a first side part 3 located at the first end of the process cartridge and a second side part 4 located at the second end of the process cartridge. In this utility model, both the first side part 3 and the second side part 4 can be referred to as side parts. The first side part 3 and the second side part 4 are each fixedly connected to both ends of the second frame 25 of the photosensitive unit 2 along their longitudinal direction and can be connected to the developing unit 1, allowing the developing unit 1 to rotate relative to the photosensitive unit 2.

[0040] As in the Fig. 2 and Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the process cartridge 100 further comprises a restoring element 17 and a separation force receiving element 6. The restoring element 17 and the separation force receiving element 6 are arranged vertically and spaced apart from each other. The separation force receiving element 6 receives a separation force from the imaging device to force the developing unit 1 to rotate about the axis of rotation A1 relative to the photosensitive unit 2 in the direction indicated by r. This causes the developing component 11 and the photosensitive component 21 to move from a state of mutual proximity to a state of mutual separation. Simultaneously, the restoring element 17 undergoes elastic deformation to generate a restoring force. After the separation force exerted by the imaging device on the separation force receiving element 6 is removed, the return element 17 releases its elastic force and forces the developing unit 1 to rotate about the axis of rotation A1 in the direction opposite to that indicated by r. This causes the developing component 11 and the light-sensitive component 21 to move from their separated state back to the state in which they are close together, allowing the process cartridge 100 to perform the development / imaging process.

[0041] As in the Fig. 3 and Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the first side part 3 further comprises a chip receptacle 51, a first exposed section 33a for exposing at least one section of the first drive element 13, and a second exposed section 33b for exposing at least one section of the second drive element 23. This configuration enables the first drive element 13 and the second drive element 23 to receive external drive forces. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the chip receptacle 51 is provided on the first main body 32 (as described below) to mount the chip 31 (memory unit). The chip 31 comprises a substrate 311, a connector 312 attached to the front 311a of the substrate, a rear 311b of the substrate opposite the front 311a, and a side 311c connecting the front 311a and rear 311b of the substrate. The connector 312 is configured for electrical contact with a contact pin inside an imaging device to establish a communication link between the process cartridge 100 and the imaging device. When the process cartridge is mounted in an electrophotographic imaging device, both the chip 31 and the chip receptacle 51 are located above the first side 3, with the front 311a of the substrate facing upwards.

[0042] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 4, the first exposed section 33a is located closer to the chip 31 in the vertical direction Z than the second exposed section 33b. The exposed section can be either a hole structure or a notch structure.

[0043] In this embodiment, the chip receptacle 51 has an upwardly oriented mounting surface 511. The chip 31 can be attached to the mounting surface 511 along a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface 511, with the mounting surface 511 supporting the chip 31. In particular, the substrate 311 of the chip 31 is attached to the mounting surface 511 by means of an adhesive method. This bonding can be achieved using adhesive, double-sided tape, or solvent. This structure simplifies the chip receptacle 51 structurally.

[0044] Preferably, the direction of expansion of the mounting surface 511 is perpendicular to the vertical direction.

[0045] Preferably, the substrate 311 of the chip 31 is positioned above the chip receptacle 51, with the side surface 311c of the substrate 311 exposed to the outside. This configuration of the process cartridge 100 facilitates the installation and removal of the chip 31 while minimizing the risk of damage to the chip 31.

[0046] The second side part 4 is arranged longitudinally at the second end of the process cartridge 100. It comprises a third exposed section 41a and a fourth exposed section 41b to expose the first conductive element 14 and the second conductive element 24, respectively. The third exposed section 41a and the fourth exposed section 41b can be configured as a through-hole or a notch.

[0047] In some embodiments, the chip receptacle 51 further includes a limiting section to facilitate accurate installation of the chip 31.

[0048] In some embodiments, the first exposed section 33a and the second exposed section 33b are designed as a circular opening structure, wherein the first exposed section 33a and the second exposed section have identical dimensions.

[0049] In some embodiments, the first exposed section 33a and the second exposed section 33b are designed as a circular opening structure, wherein the radius of the first exposed section 33a is smaller than the radius of the second exposed section 33b.

[0050] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 6, the chip 31 further comprises a memory 313 located on its rear side 311b. The chip mount 51 further comprises a recess 512, the recess 512 corresponding to the memory 313. The recess 512 is designed as a depression extending from the mounting surface 511 away from the chip 31. When the chip 31 is mounted on the mounting surface 511, the memory 313 is located within the recess 512.

[0051] In some embodiments, the chip receptacle 51 is configured to be removable relative to the first side part 3. This facilitates chip removal by allowing the chip receptacle 51 to be detached directly when the chip needs to be replaced, without the need for tools to pry the chip open. Example 2

[0052] This embodiment differs from embodiment 1 with regard to the chip mounting and the chip structure. As in the Fig. As shown in Figures 7A-7C, the chip receptacle 52 comprises a mounting surface 521 and several mounting projections 522. The mounting surface 521 supports the substrate 311 of the chip 31, while the several mounting projections 522 secure the substrate 311 of the chip 31; the mounting projections 522 extend outwards in a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface 521.

[0053] When the chip 31 is mounted in the chip receptacle 52, the mounting projections 522 rest against portions of the side surface 311c of the substrate 311 to limit the movement of the chip 31. Preferably, the chip receptacle 52 also includes a cover section 523 for securing the chip 31. In this embodiment, at least one end of the mounting projections 522 is provided with a cover section 523. The cover section 523 is positioned at the end of the mounting projection 522 and can cover a portion of the front surface 311a of the substrate 311 to limit the movement of the substrate 311. In particular, the cover section 523 can be a structure that is formed after the end of the mounting projection 522 melts / deforms during the welding process.

[0054] In some embodiments, the substrate 311 of the chip 31 further comprises a through-section 311d extending through the substrate 311. This through-section 311d can be a hole structure or a notch structure. The mounting projection 522 is inserted into the through-section 311d and rests against the side surface 311c of the substrate 311 of the chip 31, thereby restricting the movement of the substrate 311.

[0055] In this embodiment, during the installation of the chip 31, the chip 31 can first be mounted in the chip receptacle 52 along a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface 521, after which the chip 31 is attached by soldering.

[0056] The process cartridge in this embodiment reduces wear on the substrate 311 of the chip 31 during installation of the chip 31. Furthermore, removing the chip 31 requires only partial destruction of the mounting protrusions 522 or the cover section 523, which allows for convenient removal of the chip 31. Example 3

[0057] This embodiment differs from embodiment 2 with regard to the chip mounting and the chip structure.

[0058] As in the Fig. As shown in Figures 8 to 12, the chip receptacle 53 comprises a mounting surface 531, a locking section 533b, and a cover section 533. The mounting surface 531 supports the substrate 311 of the chip 31, while the cover section 533 secures the chip 31. The cover section 533 includes a contact section 533a, which can bear against the front face 311a of the substrate of the chip 31, and a receptacle 532 that engages with the locking section 533b. The locking section 533b engages in the receptacle 532 of the cover section 533 to secure the cover section 533. In particular, the locking section 533b and the receptacle 532 can be configured as a snap-fit structure.

[0059] When installing the chip 31, the chip 31 can first be mounted on the mounting surface 531 in a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface 531, followed by the mounting of the cover section 533, which secures the chip 31 in the chip receptacle 53; the cover section 533 can either be installed perpendicular to the mounting surface 531, thus enabling engagement between the locking section 533b and the receptacle 532, or installed parallel to the mounting surface 531.

[0060] The process cartridge 100 with the aforementioned structure facilitates the installation of the chip 31. Furthermore, when removing the chip 31, it is sufficient to remove the cover section 533 to take it out, thus avoiding damage to the chip receptacle 53.

[0061] In some embodiments, such as in Fig. As shown in Figure 12, the first side part 3 has a guide groove 34. The end face of the development unit 1 has a projection 16 designed to engage in the guide groove 34. The development unit 1 is supported by the first side part 3 through this engagement between the guide groove 34 and the projection 16. During the relative movement between the development unit 1 and the light-sensitive unit 2, the projection 16 can slide within the guide groove 34. Furthermore, the first exposed section 33a is designed as a notch structure, the opening of which points in the direction of movement towards the development unit 2, while the second exposed section 33b is designed as a circular opening structure, the dimensions of which are larger than those of which are larger. In this process cartridge with this structure, the developing unit 1 can move within the groove structure when the developing unit 1 moves relative to the light-sensitive unit 2, the groove structure providing sufficient displacement space for the developing unit 1. The aforementioned guide groove 34 and projection 16 can also be applied to other embodiments of the present utility model. Example 4

[0062] This embodiment differs from embodiment 1 with regard to the chip mounting and the chip installation method.

[0063] As in the Fig. As shown in Figures 13-14, the chip receptacle 54 comprises a receiving chamber 542, a mounting surface 541 arranged within the receiving chamber 542 for supporting the substrate 311, and a cover section 543 arranged above the mounting surface 541 for fixing the chip 31. The receiving chamber 542 is adapted to the substrate 311 of the chip 31 and has a mounting access 544, the mounting access 544 being oriented towards the top of the process cartridge. The substrate 311 of the chip 31 can be installed in the receiving chamber 542 through the mounting access 544 in a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface 541.

[0064] Preferably, the side surface 311c of the substrate 311 of the chip can be enclosed by the receiving space 542.

[0065] Preferably, the mounting access 544 includes a guide section 545 for mounting; when the chip is inserted into the receiving space, the guide section 545 facilitates the smooth installation of the chip.

[0066] During the installation of the chip 31, the chip 31 can be pushed through the mounting access 544 into the receiving space 542, which simplifies the assembly. Example 5

[0067] This embodiment differs from the above-mentioned embodiment 4 with regard to the chip mounting and the chip installation method.

[0068] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 15, at least one side of the receiving space 542 is provided with an elastic component 546 along the X or Y direction. This elastic component 546 includes a cover section 543, which is located at the end of the elastic component 546. When the chip 31 is installed perpendicular to the mounting surface, the elastic component 546 deforms elastically to allow the chip 31 to be mounted in the receiving space 542. The cover section 543 is located at the front 311a of the substrate of the chip 31 to limit the position of the chip 31. This chip receiving structure allows the chip to be pressed into the mounting position for installation, providing a simple structure and convenient assembly.

[0069] In particular, the elastic component 546 can be designed as an elastic hook section, with the cover section 543 extending towards the interior of the receiving space 542. The number of elastic hook sections can be one or more; preferably, two elastic components 546 are provided, arranged along the X-direction of the process cartridge 100 or along the Y-direction perpendicular to the X-direction and the Z-direction of the process cartridge 100, with the two elastic components located on both sides of the receiving space 542. Example 6

[0070] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 16, the embodiment further improves the second side part 4 based on the embodiment mentioned above, which means that the second side part 4 in this embodiment can be applied to the process cartridge in the embodiment mentioned above.

[0071] Referring to Fig. 1A and Fig. 16 The second side part 4 comprises a first end surface 41 and a stepped part 42 that projects longitudinally from the first end surface 41. Along the longitudinal direction X, the first end surface 41 faces away from the developing unit 1 / the first frame 15. This stepped part 42 rests against the rotary stop projection 47 when the process cartridge is inserted into the electrophotographic imaging device and the door cover is closed, thus restricting the position of the process cartridge. In particular, the stepped part 42 has a contact surface 421 that faces the underside of the process cartridge. Along the first direction P (parallel to the Y direction), the contact surface 421 is located upstream of the second conductive element 24. This contact surface 421 rests against the rotary stop projection 47 of the electrophotographic imaging device; that is, the contact surface 421 is located behind the second conductive element 24.

[0072] Preferably, the stepped section 42 comprises a recess 422, the recess 422 being deepened along the X-direction of the process cartridge from the stepped section 42 towards the first end of the process cartridge and from the first direction P. Preferably, the second conductive element 24 is positioned within this recess 422; preferably, the second conductive element 24 is exposed along a direction opposite to the first direction P; this facilitates the installation of the second conductive element 24. The first direction P preferably runs parallel to the Y-direction. This design prevents a collision between the stepped section and the rotary stop projection 47 when the process cartridge is inserted into the electrophotographic imaging device. In particular, this ensures that the contact surface 421 comes into smooth contact with the rotary stop projection 47 when the cover is closed. Example 7

[0073] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 17, the chip receptacle 55 in this embodiment also includes an elastic component 556 and a cover section 553 located at the end of the elastic component 556. When the chip 31 is installed in the receptacle 557 along a direction perpendicular to the mounting surface 551, the elastic component 556 undergoes elastic deformation to allow the chip 31 to be installed. The cover section 553 is located at the front face 311a of the substrate of the chip 31 to confine the chip 31.

[0074] Furthermore, the chip receptacle 55 includes a locking section (mounting projection) 552, which is located on a side different from the elastic component 556. When the chip 31 is mounted on the mounting surface 551, both the locking section 552 and the elastic component 556 are in contact with the side face 311c of the substrate, thus enabling the chip 31 to be stably positioned on the mounting surface 551. Consequently, the locking section 552 and the elastic component 556 together can be referred to as a limiting section. This limiting section restricts the movement of the chip 31 in a direction perpendicular to the Z-direction by contacting the side face 311c of the substrate.

[0075] Preferably, two elastic components 556 are provided. Along the longitudinal direction X or Y, the two elastic components 556 are positioned on both sides of the receiving space 557; in some embodiments, only one of the two elastic components 556 may exhibit elasticity. Fig. Figure 17 shows an example where both elastic components 556 are arranged along the longitudinal direction X on both sides of the receiving space 557. Alternatively, in a deformable configuration, the two elastic components 556 can be arranged along the Y direction on both sides of the receiving space 557.

[0076] Using the example of the in Fig. In the structure shown in Figure 17, the blocking section 552 is provided on the Y-direction side of the receiving space 557. Preferably, two blocking sections 552 are provided, arranged on both sides of the receiving space 557. The two blocking sections (two mounting projections) 552 are spaced apart from each other along the Y-direction. In one embodiment, the two blocking sections 552 are offset from each other. In particular, the blocking sections 552 comprise a first blocking section 552a, which is positioned behind the receiving space 557, and a second blocking section 552b, which is positioned in front of the receiving space 557. Along the longitudinal direction X, the dimensions of the extension of the first blocking section 552a and the second blocking section 552b are smaller than the dimensions of the receiving space 557. Consequently, a cavity section 550 is formed next to the first blocking section 552a and the second blocking section 552b.That is, along the arrangement direction of the two elastic components 556 or along a direction that intersects the arrangement direction of the two blocking sections, within the area S limited by the receiving space 557, the cavity section 550 is provided next to the blocking sections 552.

[0077] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 18, the first blocking section 552a is positioned to the left of the second blocking section 552b. The first blocking section 552a has a first end surface 552c at its right end and a second end surface 552d at its left end along the longitudinal direction X. The second blocking section 552b has a third end surface 552e at its right end and a fourth end surface 552f at its left end. A first reference line L1, parallel to the Y direction, is drawn through the rightmost point / surface of the first blocking section 552a, with the first reference line L1 being positioned at least to the left of the third end surface 552e. Preferably, the first reference line L1 is positioned to the left of the fourth end surface 552f or the first reference line L1 passes through the fourth end surface 552f. In this preferred configuration, the first blocking section 552a and the second blocking section 552b do not overlap in the Y direction. The structure of the chip holder 55 is simplified, and the mold for manufacturing the chip holder 55 facilitates demolding.

[0078] In some embodiments, the first blocking section 552a and the second blocking section 552b can also be exchanged along the longitudinal direction X, such that the first blocking section 552a is located to the right of the second blocking section 552b. In this case, the first reference line L1 passes through the leftmost point / surface of the first blocking section 552a. Along the longitudinal direction X, the first reference line L1 is positioned at least to the right of the fourth end surface 552f. Preferably, the first reference line L1 is positioned to the right of the third end surface 552e, or the first reference line L1 passes through the third end surface 552e.

[0079] In some embodiments, the blocking section 552 and the elastic component 556 can also be exchanged in their position, i.e., the elastic component 556 is provided on the Y-direction of the receiving space 557, while the blocking section 552 is provided on the longitudinal direction X of the receiving space 557.

[0080] The imaging device further includes a preventer section located within the main body. The existing process cartridge also has a U-shaped groove section configured to engage with the preventer section. This U-shaped groove is provided on a side panel. When the tray unit is inserted into the main body and the process cartridge moves downward with the tray unit, the preventer section enters the U-shaped groove section, thereby positioning the process cartridge within the imaging device. As, for example, in Fig. 8 of patent US8862022B2 or Fig. As shown in Figure 1B of the present application, the imaging device further comprises a preventer section 53b arranged within the main body. The existing process cartridge also has a U-shaped groove section 24b configured to engage with the preventer section 53b. This U-shaped groove section 24b is provided on a side part. When the insertion unit is inserted into the main body and the process cartridge moves downward with the insertion unit, the preventer section 53b enters the U-shaped groove section 24b, thereby positioning the process cartridge within the imaging device. However, this positioning structure requires precise alignment between the preventer section 53b and the U-shaped groove section 24b.If this alignment is not achieved, the insertion unit may not move smoothly downwards, and there is even a risk of damaging the imaging device or the process cartridge.

[0081] To remedy this, the present utility model additionally includes an alternative section 37, which is formed by cutting out the U-shaped groove section 24b, as shown in Fig. Figure 17 shows that the escape section 37 is positioned behind the chip receptacle 55 along the Y-direction. When the process cartridge 100 of the present utility model, with the insertion tray unit, lowers to a predetermined position, the obstruction section 53 within the imaging device enters the escape section 37, or in other words, the obstruction section 53 is exposed along the Y-direction. In certain embodiments, the U-shaped groove 24 may be retained. Nevertheless, the obstruction section 53 still enters the U-shaped groove 24 when the process cartridge 100 of the present utility model, with the insertion tray unit, lowers to the predetermined position. Regardless of the forces exerted on the process cartridge within the imaging device, the obstruction section 53 does not contact the side walls forming the U-shaped groove 24.This means that the U-shaped groove 24 no longer engages with the prevention section 53 to position the process cartridge 100. Example 8

[0082] In contrast to embodiment 7, the first blocking section 552a and the second blocking section 552b in this embodiment are designed to coincide along the Y-direction or the longitudinal direction X. In particular, along the Y-direction or the longitudinal direction X, the entire first blocking section 552a or the entire second blocking section 552b coincides with the other. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 19, the first blocking section 552a and the second blocking section 552b are positioned on both sides of the recording space 557 in the Y direction. The first blocking section 552a and the second blocking section 552b overlap along the Y direction. A second reference line L2, parallel to the Y direction, is drawn through the leftmost point / surface of the first blocking section 552a. The second reference line L2 passes through the leftmost point / surface of the second blocking section 552b. Furthermore, the extent of the first blocking section 552a along the longitudinal direction X does not exceed the extent of the second blocking section 552b, nor does the extent of the second blocking section 552b exceed the extent of the first blocking section 552a.

[0083] In some embodiments, the second reference line L2 may also not pass through the leftmost point / surface of the second blocking section 552b.Overall, it is sufficient if, along the longitudinal direction X, the first blocking section 552a does not exceed the area formed by the extension from the leftmost point / surface and the rightmost point / surface of the second blocking section 552b along the Y-direction, or in other words, it is sufficient if, along the longitudinal direction X, the second blocking section 552b does not exceed the area formed by the extension from the leftmost point / surface and the rightmost point / surface of the first blocking section 552a along the Y-direction.

[0084] Based on the above description, the structure of the chip holder 55 is also simplified in this embodiment, and the mold for manufacturing the chip holder 55 facilitates demolding. Example 9

[0085] As described in reference patent CN105929661B, the imaging device includes a slot unit that can accommodate the process cartridge. The slot unit comprises several slots 70, each of which can accommodate a process cartridge. Fig. Figure 20 shows the structure of the insert tray 70. As shown, the insert tray 70 comprises an insert tray frame 79 and a support section 75 arranged on the insert tray frame 79, the support section 75 serving to support the process cartridge; in particular, the insert tray frame 79 comprises a first side plate 71, a second side plate 72, a third side plate 73 and a fourth side plate 74, wherein the first side plate 71 and the second side plate 72 are spaced apart opposite each other along the Y-direction, the third side plate 73 and the fourth side plate 74 are spaced apart opposite each other along the longitudinal X-direction, wherein the first side plate 71, the second side plate 72, the third side plate 73 and the fourth side plate 74 enclose and form a receiving space 76, wherein along the Y-direction the first side plate 71 is positioned in front of the second side plate 72,The first side plate 71 has a first inner surface 711 facing the receiving chamber 76 of the process cartridge, while the second side plate 72 has a second inner surface 721 facing the receiving chamber 76 of the process cartridge, the first inner surface 711 and the second inner surface 721 being arranged opposite each other. As in , Fig. As shown in Figure 21, the first side part 3 comprises a first main body 32, a first support section 34, and a second support section 35 arranged on the first main body 32, with the first exposed section 33a and the second exposed section 33b arranged on the first main body 32. The second side part 4 comprises a second main body 46, a third support section 44, and a fourth support section 45 arranged on the second main body 46. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 16, the third exposed section 41a and the fourth exposed section 41b are provided on the second main body 46.

[0086] When the insert tray unit is pulled out of the main body, the first support section 34 and the third support section 44 are simultaneously supported by the support section 75. This supports the process cartridge 100 within the receiving space 76 of the process cartridge. When the insert tray unit is moved into the main body, the second support section 35 and the fourth support section 45 are simultaneously supported by a positioning section within the main body (as shown in Fig. 8 of patent US8862022B2 or 51a and 52a in Fig. 1B of the present application).

[0087] As in the Fig. 2 and Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the side part or development unit experiences a forward thrust when the development unit 1 rotates and the separation force receiving element 6 absorbs a separation force. Simultaneously, the elastically deformed return element 17 exerts a backward thrust on the second frame 25. For this purpose, the process cartridge 100 also includes a positioning element for positioning the process cartridge 100 within the receiving space 76. The positioning element enables the positioning of the process cartridge 100 by counteracting the aforementioned forward thrust and / or backward thrust.

[0088] As described above, the development unit 1 is designed to rotate relative to the light-sensitive unit 2. Preferably, the positioning element is arranged on at least one side panel or on a second frame 25.

[0089] As in the Fig. 21 and Fig. As shown in Figure 22, the positioning element in this embodiment comprises a first positioning element 81 and a third positioning element 83, which are attached to the first side part 3, as well as a second positioning element 82 and a fourth positioning element 84, which are attached to the second side part 4. Along the Y-direction, the first positioning element 81 and the third positioning element 83 are spaced apart from each other, as are the second positioning element 82 and the fourth positioning element 84. Along the longitudinal X-direction, the first positioning element 81 and the second positioning element 82 are spaced apart, and the third positioning element 83 and the fourth positioning element 84 are spaced apart.

[0090] Along the Y-direction, the first main body 32 has a first forward-facing front surface 36a and a first rearward-facing rear surface 36b. The second main body 46 has a second forward-facing front surface 43a and a second rearward-facing rear surface 43b. The first positioning element 81 is configured to project forward from the first front surface 36a, and the third positioning element 83 is configured to project rearward from the first rear surface 36b. Preferably, each positioning element is configured as a projection, which may be fixed or movable.

[0091] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 23, after the process cartridge 100 is installed in the receiving chamber 76, the first positioning element 81 and the second positioning element 82 are simultaneously opposite the first inner surface 711, while the third positioning element 83 and the fourth positioning element 84 are simultaneously opposite the second inner surface 721. In general, the first positioning element 81 and the second positioning element 82 can be referred to as the front positioning elements, and the third positioning element 83 and the fourth positioning element 84 as the rear positioning elements. That is, the front positioning elements comprise at least one of the first positioning elements 81 and second positioning elements 82, while the rear positioning elements comprise at least one of the third positioning elements 83 and fourth positioning elements 84. Preferably, the front positioning elements are in mutual contact with the first inner surface 711 before the separating force receiving element 6 receives the separating force, or a gap is formed between the front positioning elements and the first inner surface 711 to facilitate smooth installation of the process cartridge 100. Similarly, the rear positioning elements and the second inner surface 721 also exhibit one of the two states mentioned above.

[0092] Along the longitudinal direction X, the various positioning elements in this embodiment can rest against the insertion frame 79 at both ends of the process cartridge 100, thereby distributing the forces acting on the process cartridge 100 more evenly.

[0093] When the separating force receiving element 6 receives the separating force, the front positioning element rests against the first inner surface 711 and the rear positioning element against the second inner surface 721 under the combined action of the forward and backward thrust. This ensures that the second frame 25 and the side panel achieve stable positioning within the receiving space 76 of the process cartridge. Even if the developing unit 1 rotates relative to the photosensitive unit 2, the position of the process cartridge 100 within the receiving space 76 of the process cartridge remains unchanged, thus eliminating the risk of the connector 312 losing electrical contact with the contact pins.

[0094] In some embodiments, the respective positioning elements can alternatively have no projections by increasing the dimensions of the side part along the Y-direction. In this case, the entire first front surface 36a can be considered the first positioning element 81, the entire first rear surface 36b the third positioning element 83, the entire second front surface 43a the second positioning element 82, and the entire second rear surface 43b the fourth positioning element 84.

[0095] In some embodiments, the process cartridge 100 further comprises a bracket / side plate positioned between the first frame 15 / second frame 25 and the side panel. The bracket / side plate serves to support rotatable components within the process cartridge (the photosensitive component 21, the loading component 22, the developing component 11, the toner feed component 12, the first drive element 13, the second drive element 23, etc.). Based on the inventive concept of the present utility model, the positioning elements can also be provided on the bracket / side plate. Typically, the bracket / side plate is fixedly connected to the second frame 25; consequently, the bracket / side plate can also be considered part of the photosensitive unit 2 / second frame 25. Example 10

[0096] As in the Fig. 24 and Fig.As shown in Figure 25, the rear positioning element in this embodiment is a projection 75b attached to the second frame 25, while the front positioning element 81 / 82 remains attached to the side part. In some embodiments, the projection 75b is positioned approximately in the middle of the second frame 25 along the longitudinal direction X. The first positioning element 81, the second positioning element 82, and the projection 75b are arranged in a triangular configuration. This ensures stable positioning of the process cartridge 100 when the separating force receiving element 6 absorbs a separating force. That is, the connecting lines of the first positioning element 81, the second positioning element 82, and the projection 75b form a triangle.

[0097] In some embodiments, two projections 75b can also be spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal direction X, which similarly serve to ensure a stable positioning of the process cartridge 100.
