Abstract

A transparent detergent bottle suitable for holding 0.2 to 5 liters of liquid detergent, containing a liquid detergent, the bottle comprising a bottle body made of transparent plastic material and one or more labels, wherein the plastic material of the bottle comprises at least 70% by weight, based on the total weight of the plastic, of polyethylene terephthalate (PET); and wherein the liquid detergent comprises a surfactant and a dye; and wherein the bottle body comprises: a bottom wall (3) forming a base structure for supporting the bottle in an upright position; and an upper opening (4) suitable for closing with a cap; and one or more side walls extending from the bottom wall to the upper opening; and wherein, when standing upright on a horizontal flat surface, the bottle comprises a front wall (Fig. 1), a rear wall (Fig. 2), and two side walls (Fig. 3 and Fig. 4).4) has,• wherein one or more grooves and / or ribs (1) surround a continuous smooth surface (2) on the front wall of the bottle, wherein the surface of said smooth front surface (2) comprises at least 50% of the total surface of the front wall of the bottle; and• wherein the continuous smooth surface (2) includes a label (8); and• wherein at least 70% of the front wall surface is covered by the one or more grooves and / or ribs (1) and the label (8) on the continuous smooth front surface (2).
