Description

[0001] The invention relates to a cooking system according to claim 1.

[0002] A cooking system is already known from the prior art, for example EP 2 696 144 A2, DE 103 60 593 B3, US 5 185 047 A, or WO 96 / 25630 A1, which comprises a worktop, a cooktop assembly, and a cooktop plate, the latter being arranged in a mounting area of the cooktop assembly when assembled. The cooktop plate is specifically designed to fit the cooktop assembly. In particular, the cited prior art discloses that the cooktop assembly, together with the cooktop plate, is intended as a single unit for mounting in a recess in the worktop. EP 2 696 144 A2 is particularly noteworthy because it discloses the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore, a cooking system is known from DE 297 05 731 U1, wherein a cooktop assembly can be mounted directly to the underside of a kitchen worktop. From US 2016 / 039326 A1, a mobile cooking system is further known in which a cooking hob device together with a worktop is integrated as a unit in a mobile cooking cart.

[0003] The object of the invention is, in particular, to provide a cooking system of the generic type with improved flexibility. This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1, while advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention can be found in the dependent claims.

[0004] The invention relates to a cooking system with at least one hob device, a worktop and a freely adaptable hob plate, wherein the at least one hob device is provided for mounting in a recess of the worktop, in particular a kitchen worktop, wherein the at least one hob device has at least one mounting area which is provided for a later mounting of at least one freely adaptable hob plate, in particular in terms of time, wherein the freely adaptable hob plate is at least partially arranged in the mounting area.

[0005] The design according to the invention increases flexibility, particularly with regard to adaptation to the worktop. In particular, it allows for a high degree of flexibility because the cooktop can be easily replaced if necessary, for example, if it is damaged or discolored. This is especially cost-effective and / or requires relatively little effort compared to replacing an entire worktop. Furthermore, the material and / or color of the cooktop can be selected independently of the worktop material, allowing for the use of a cooktop tailored to the customer's specific needs. In particular, simplified access to cooktop components of the cooktop assembly, such as at least one heating element and / or at least one control unit and / or at least one cooktop electronics unit, can be enabled. Specifically, the worktop can still be produced and / or delivered as a single unit, and the cooktop assembly can be installed in the recess of the worktop in a manner similar to a method known in the prior art. According to the invention, in contrast to a method known in the prior art, a cooktop panel can be installed after the cooktop assembly has been mounted in the recess of the worktop, thereby achieving, in particular, high flexibility and / or a low probability of damage to the cooktop panel. In particular, a design can be provided to the operator in which the worktop is clearly distinguishable from the hob, thereby enabling, in particular, a defined placement area for cooking utensils.

[0006] A "cooktop device," and in particular an "induction cooktop device," is understood to be at least a part, and especially a subassembly, of a cooktop, particularly an induction cooktop. The cooktop device differs from a cooktop in particular in that, unlike the cooktop device, the cooktop has a cooktop plate. In particular, the cooktop device, in at least one pre-assembly state in which it is arranged, in particular, in the recess of the worktop, is unlimited upwards, especially in an area facing the user, and / or free of a cooktop plate. According to the invention, the cooktop device has at least one cooktop plate mounting unit, which at least partially defines and / or limits the mounting area.

[0007] The cooktop device comprises, in particular, at least one housing unit. A "housing unit" is understood to mean, in particular, a unit designed to at least partially delimit and / or define, in at least one assembled state, at least one receiving space, in particular a cavity, for receiving and / or storing at least one component. The component could, for example, be at least one heating element and / or a control unit and / or a power supply unit and / or a user interface. In particular, the housing unit and the cooktop plate, in at least one assembled state, jointly delimit the receiving space, at least substantially. The receiving space is, in particular, designed as a cavity. The housing unit, in at least one assembled state, absorbs, in particular, a weight force from components, at least to a large extent, and / or transfers the weight force to at least one other unit, such as the cooktop and / or advantageously to the worktop. Advantageously, the housing unit is designed as an outer housing unit and, in at least one assembled state, defines, at least substantially, a cooktop outer housing, particularly together with the cooktop. In at least one assembled state, in which, in particular, the cooktop is at least partially located within the mounting area, the component is, in particular, concealed by the cooktop and / or arranged in a manner invisible to the user.

[0008] The housing unit is preferably formed at least partially integrally with the cooktop mounting unit and, in particular, forms the cooktop mounting unit itself. Specifically, the cooktop mounting unit is part of the housing unit. The phrase "at least partially integrally formed" means, in particular, that the first object has at least one element and / or at least one sub-area which is integrally formed with at least one element and / or at least one sub-area of the second object.

[0009] In particular, the housing unit could form at least one frame, especially at least one cooktop frame. The frame could, for example, be arranged in at least one installed state so that it is invisible to the user, in order to ensure a consistent appearance when installed. Alternatively or additionally, the frame could be arranged so that it is visible to the user, for example, to at least substantially prevent heat transfer to a thermally sensitive material and / or to protect at least one edge of the worktop, which in particular defines the cutout.

[0010] A "recess" shall be understood to mean, in particular, an opening and / or a hole and / or a cutout. When viewed perpendicularly to a principal extension plane of the worktop, the worktop shall, in particular, limit and / or define the recess with respect to a geometric center and / or centroid of the recess over an angular range of at least 180°, in particular at least 270°, advantageously at least 300°, particularly advantageously at least 330°, and preferably at least 350°. A "principal extension plane" of an object shall, in particular, be understood to mean a plane that is parallel to a largest side face of the smallest imaginary geometric cuboid that just completely encloses the object, and in particular passes through the center of the cuboid.

[0011] A "worktop," particularly a kitchen worktop, is understood to mean a slab-like unit intended for placing and / or setting down at least one food item, at least one cooking utensil, at least one processing tool, at least one dish, and / or at least one piece of cutlery. Specifically, when viewed perpendicularly, the worktop extends along a main plane around a cooktop. The worktop is intended for carrying out at least one activity and / or action related to a cooking process, particularly one carried out on the cooktop. For example, the worktop could be used for processing and / or preparing at least one food item. The worktop consists, in particular, at least to a large extent of wood and / or glass and / or glass-ceramic and / or marble and / or stone, in particular natural stone, and / or laminate and / or metal and / or plastic and / or ceramic. "At least to a large extent" shall be understood to mean, in particular, a proportion, especially a mass proportion and / or volume proportion, of at least 70%, in particular of at least 80%, advantageously of at least 90%, and preferably of at least 95%.

[0012] The term "mounting area" shall be understood to mean, in particular, an area provided for the mounting of a cooktop that can be mounted separately from the cooktop mounting unit. In at least one mounted state, at least a partial area of the cooktop, in particular at least an edge area of the cooktop, is arranged in the mounting area. In particular, a proportion, in particular a mass proportion and / or a volume proportion, of a maximum of 50%, in particular a maximum of 40%, advantageously a maximum of 30%, particularly advantageously a maximum of 20%, and preferably a maximum of 10% of the cooktop is arranged in the mounting area.According to the invention, the cooktop mounting unit defines at least one support surface above which at least a partial area of the cooktop, in particular at least an edge area of the cooktop, is arranged in at least one mounted state when viewed perpendicularly to a principal extension plane of the cooktop. The support surface limits the mounting area in an installation position, particularly downwards, and especially in a direction parallel to a direction of gravity.

[0013] The term "cooktop plate" shall be understood to mean, in particular, a unit that, in at least one operating state, is designed for the placement of cooking utensils and that is specifically intended to form part of a cooktop outer housing, in particular the cooktop device and / or a cooktop comprising the cooktop device. In particular, in one installation position, the cooktop plate forms a part of the cooktop outer housing facing the user. The cooktop plate could, for example, consist at least largely of glass and / or glass-ceramic and / or marble and / or stone, in particular natural stone and / or laminate and / or metal and / or plastic and / or wood and / or ceramic.

[0014] A "freely adaptable" cooktop is understood to mean, in particular, a cooktop that is freely, and especially completely, selectable, particularly by an operator and advantageously according to their wishes and / or needs. Specifically, the cooktop is individually tailored to an operator and / or their wishes and / or needs, in particular by shape and / or cut. The operator is particularly free, and especially completely free, in selecting the cooktop, and advantageously, this avoids limiting the selection to a set of pre-made cooktops. In particular, at least one property of the cooktop is selectable. The selectable property of the cooktop could, for example, be its thickness and / or material and / or appearance, such as printing and / or a coating.

[0015] The term "intended" should be understood to mean, in particular, specially designed and / or equipped. The fact that an object is intended for a specific function should be understood to mean, in particular, that the object fulfills and / or performs this specific function in at least one application and / or operating state.

[0016] For example, the cooktop device could have at least one cooktop plate mounting unit, which could, in particular, define and / or form a support surface for the cooktop plate. Specifically, the support surface could limit the mounting area downwards in an installation position. The mounting area could, in particular, be laterally unlimited. Preferably, the cooktop device has at least one cooktop plate mounting unit that at least partially surrounds the mounting area. The phrase "at least partially surrounds" the mounting area is to be understood, in particular, as meaning that the cooktop plate mounting unit alone and / or together with at least one other unit limits the mounting area, and / or that the cooktop plate mounting unit forms at least part of a lateral edge and / or boundary of the mounting area. The cooktop mounting unit could, for example, form at least part of a lateral edge and / or boundary of the mounting area, and in particular, additionally form at least another part of a lateral edge and / or boundary of the mounting area. For example, the cooktop mounting unit could completely define the lateral boundaries of the mounting area. This allows, in particular, a defined and / or spatially limited mounting area to be provided, thereby enabling a precise and / or optimized mounting of the cooktop.

[0017] The mounting area could, for example, be designed exclusively for mounting the cooktop. Preferably, the mounting area is also designed for mounting at least one control panel, in addition to mounting the cooktop. In particular, when viewed perpendicularly along a main plane of its extension, the control panel is arranged, in at least one mounted state, at least partially overlapping with a user interface. The cooktop device has, in particular, at least one user interface, which is designed for inputting and / or outputting at least one piece of information to a user. In particular, the control panel is designed differently from the cooktop and / or the user interface. This allows for a high level of user-friendliness.

[0018] According to the invention, the cooktop device has at least one protective unit designed to reduce the ingress of contaminants, in particular dust and / or liquids and / or fluids, into an area below the mounting area before the cooktop panel is installed, particularly in comparison to a design without a protective unit. The protective unit is specifically designed to demarcate and / or shield at least one component, which is located in a storage area at least partially enclosed by the cooktop device, from its surroundings. In particular, the protective unit is designed to reduce the probability of direct contact between an operator and at least one component, which is located, in particular, in a storage area at least partially enclosed by the cooktop device, especially compared to a design without a protective unit. The component could, for example, be at least one heating element, in particular at least one induction heating element, and / or at least cooktop electronics and / or at least power electronics. The protective unit is, in particular, made at least predominantly of at least one heat-resistant material. The protective unit consists, in particular, at least predominantly of plastic. When viewed perpendicularly to a main plane of extension of the cooktop, the protective unit, in at least one mounted state in which the cooktop is at least partially located within the mounting area, extends at least to a large extent over the entire length of the cooktop. This ensures a high level of safety for the operator and / or results in a durable design, as it significantly reduces the probability of component defects.

[0019] The cooking system includes, in particular, at least one sealing unit which, in at least one assembled state, seals at least substantially at least the gap between the cooktop and at least one other component, such as the worktop and / or the housing unit and / or the cooktop mounting unit. The sealing unit is, in particular, made of silicone, at least to a large extent. The worktop can be manufactured and / or delivered as a single unit, and the cooktop can be installed in a known manner. In particular, the cooktop selected by the operator can be inserted into the installation area in a subsequent assembly step. This allows the operator to still be provided with a clearly recognizable cooking surface, in particular while avoiding the need for a uniform surface.

[0020] The worktop and the cooktop could, for example, be made of different materials, at least to a large extent. For instance, the cooktop could be made of at least a large extent of a material that is at least partially transparent for at least one wavelength range, such as glass and / or glass-ceramic. Alternatively, the worktop could be made of at least one material that is at least substantially opaque and / or have at least a substantially opaque coating. Preferably, the worktop and the cooktop are made of the same material, at least to a large extent, and in particular entirely. The cooktop is formed, in particular, by a portion of the worktop, which is removed and / or cut out, especially to create the recess.Alternatively, the cooktop could be manufactured independently of the worktop. For example, the cooktop could be made from at least one section removed from the worktop and / or from at least one newly cut piece of material. This allows for a high level of user-friendliness and / or ease of handling and / or maintenance, as the cooktop and worktop are treated identically, particularly with regard to cleaning. This avoids cleaning issues and ensures a long-lasting design.

[0021] For example, the cooktop could have a thickness that corresponds at least substantially, and in particular completely, to the thickness of the worktop. Preferably, the cooktop has a thickness that is less than the thickness of the worktop. The "thickness" of an object is understood to mean, in particular, the length of the shortest side of the smallest imaginary geometric cuboid that just completely encloses the object. In particular, the thickness of the cooktop is at most 90%, more particularly at most 80%, advantageously at most 70%, and preferably at most 60% of the thickness of the worktop. The thickness of the cooktop is, in particular, at least 10%, more particularly at least 20%, advantageously at least 30%, and preferably at least 40% of the thickness of the worktop. This allows for optimized heating of cookware placed on the hob, as it achieves optimal coupling between at least one heating element and the cookware. In particular, significantly more efficient energy transfer is possible, especially without the need for a complicated thinning of the worktop in the cooking area.

[0022] Furthermore, it is proposed that the worktop has at least a partial area above which at least a partial area of the cooktop is arranged, particularly in at least one installed state and advantageously when viewed perpendicularly to a principal extension plane of the cooktop and / or the worktop. In particular, the partial area of the worktop above which the partial area of the cooktop is arranged is located in a region of the worktop facing the recess. In particular, the partial area of the worktop above which the partial area of the cooktop is arranged at least partially delimits the recess and forms, in particular, at least an edge delimiting the recess. In at least one cross-sectional plane, the worktop in this partial area could, for example, have a rectangular shape.Alternatively or additionally, the worktop could have a stepped shape in at least one cross-sectional plane within the relevant section. Viewed perpendicularly to a main plane of extension of the worktop and / or the cooktop, the worktop and the cooktop, in particular the relevant section, are arranged in an overlapping manner. This allows for a particularly compact and / or stable design.

[0023] For example, in at least one assembled state, the cooktop could be separated from the worktop section only by the cooktop mounting unit and, in particular, have a distance to the worktop section which could be defined, in particular, by the thickness of the cooktop mounting unit. Preferably, the cooktop device has at least one spacer unit which is arranged at least partially, in particular at least to a large extent and advantageously completely, between the worktop section and the cooktop section and which supports the cooktop section at a defined distance from the worktop section. The phrase "at least partially" referring to the spacer unit being arranged between the section of the worktop and the section of the cooktop" means, in particular, that the spacer unit has at least one section located between the section of the worktop and the section of the cooktop, and, in particular, could additionally have at least one further section which, when viewed perpendicularly to a main plane of extension of the worktop and / or the cooktop, could be located outside an overlap area between the cooktop and the worktop. In particular, the specified distance is at least 0.5 mm, more particularly at least 1 mm, advantageously at least 2 mm, particularly advantageously at least 3 mm, and preferably at least 4 mm.In particular, the specified distance is a maximum of 50 mm, more particularly a maximum of 40 mm, advantageously a maximum of 30 mm, particularly advantageously a maximum of 20 mm, and preferably a maximum of 10 mm. For example, the spacer unit could consist at least largely of plastic. This allows, in particular, an optimal position of the cooktop relative to the worktop to be achieved, especially in a simple manner.

[0024] Furthermore, it is proposed that a user-facing surface of the cooktop and a user-facing surface of the worktop be arranged at least substantially in a common plane. For example, the user-facing surface of the cooktop and the user-facing surface of the worktop could, in particular, merge seamlessly into one another and / or be flush with each other. Alternatively or additionally, the surface of the cooktop and the surface of the worktop, viewed perpendicularly to a principal extension plane of the worktop and / or the cooktop, could be arranged adjacent to each other and, in particular, separated from each other by at least one further component, such as the housing unit and / or the cooktop mounting unit and / or the sealing unit. The phrase "the user-facing surface of the cooktop and the user-facing surface of the worktop are arranged at least substantially in a common plane" means, in particular, that a first plane spanned by the user-facing surface of the cooktop and a second plane spanned by the user-facing surface of the worktop have a distance of no more than 2 mm, in particular no more than 1.5 mm, advantageously no more than 1 mm, particularly advantageously no more than 0.5 mm and preferably no more than 0.1 mm, in a direction perpendicular to the first plane and / or to the second plane, and / or have a distance of no more than 50%, in particular no more than 15%, advantageously no more than 10%, particularly advantageously no more than 5% and preferably no more than 0.1% of the extent of the cooktop and / or the worktop in that direction. This allows, in particular, a surface facing an operator to be designed to be at least substantially flush, thereby reducing the likelihood of an operator being injured due to protruding corners and / or edges and / or irregularities.

[0025] Furthermore, it is proposed that the cooktop assembly include at least one control panel. The control panel could be located adjacent to the cooktop, and advantageously between the cooktop and the worktop, particularly when viewed perpendicularly to a principal plane of the worktop. For example, the control panel could be located adjacent to the cooktop assembly and / or the cooktop mounting unit when viewed perpendicularly to a principal plane of the worktop. The control panel could be attached to the cooktop assembly and / or the cooktop mounting unit, and could form a pre-assembled unit together with the cooktop assembly and / or the cooktop mounting unit. Preferably, the control panel is located within the mounting area. For example, the control panel could be a portion of the cooktop. In particular, the control panel and the cooktop are designed differently and are separate components. This allows for a high level of user comfort. Specifically, it eliminates the need for the user to bend down to operate the cooktop, which would be necessary if the control panel were located on the front and, in particular, vertically oriented. This allows the user to operate the cooktop directly and / or in an ergonomically advantageous position. Furthermore, it allows for the retention of brand-specific operating logic.

[0026] Furthermore, it is proposed that the control panel and the cooktop surface be made at least largely from different materials, thereby achieving a high degree of design flexibility. In particular, the control panel can be designed in a brand-typical shape, thereby achieving a high level of brand recognition and / or identification.

[0027] Furthermore, it is proposed that the control panel be made at least largely of a material that is at least partially transparent for at least one wavelength range, which could be located in the visible light range. In particular, the cooktop could be made at least largely of a material that could be at least substantially opaque, especially for visible light. The wavelength range could be, in particular, red light and extend from at least substantially 650 nm to 750 nm. Alternatively or additionally, the wavelength range could extend substantially over the entire visible light range and / or over a range from at least substantially 380 nm to 750 nm.The phrase "at least partially transparent" for at least one wavelength range is meant to indicate, in particular, that the object is completely transparent or partially transparent, especially milky transparent, as in the case of a milky-colored object. This allows for targeted illumination, particularly in a specific area of the control panel, thereby enabling simple and / or intuitive operation of the cooktop.

[0028] Furthermore, it is proposed that the cooking system includes at least one extraction unit, which is designed to extract vapors generated in at least one operating state from at least one cooking chamber and which, when viewed perpendicularly to a main extension plane of the worktop, is at least partially adjacent to the cooktop surface. The phrase "a first object is arranged at least partially adjacent to a second object when viewed perpendicularly to a principal plane of the worktop" means, in particular, that the first object has at least one object element which, when viewed perpendicularly to a principal plane of the worktop, is adjacent to the second object, and, in particular, could have at least one further object element which, when viewed perpendicularly to a principal plane of the worktop, is arranged relative to the second object in an arrangement different from an adjacent arrangement. For example, at least one further object element of the extractor unit could, when viewed perpendicularly to a principal plane of the worktop, be arranged to overlap the cooktop and / or the cooktop unit to a large extent.Alternatively or additionally, at least one further component of the extraction unit could be arranged, when viewed perpendicularly to a main extension plane of the worktop, overlapping the worktop to a large extent. The first component could, for example, be the extraction unit and / or the control panel. The second component could, for example, be the cooktop and / or the cooktop assembly and / or the cooktop mounting unit. In particular, if the first component is the extraction unit, the component could, in particular, be at least one air guide unit of the extraction unit and / or at least one fan wheel of the extraction unit. The further component could, in particular, if the first component is the extraction unit, be at least one fan wheel of the extraction unit.

[0029] The term "extraction unit" shall be understood to mean, in particular, a unit designed to extract and / or filter fumes generated in at least one operating state, and which is specifically designed to at least transport these fumes away from a cooking area. The extraction unit shall, in particular, include at least one grease filter designed to at least substantially capture and / or remove from the fumes dissolved in the vapors generated in at least one operating state. In particular, the extraction unit shall include at least one fan wheel designed to provide, in at least one operating state, an intake flow for fumes generated in that operating state and, in particular, to transport the extracted fumes away from the cooking area. For example, the extraction unit could be designed to extract the fumes generated during operation from the cooking area and additionally from a cooking chamber, and to feed them, for example, into at least one exhaust duct. Alternatively, the extraction unit could be designed, in particular, to transport the fumes generated during operation from the cooking area to at least one further sub-area of the cooking chamber. A "cooking area" is understood to be, in particular, a sub-area of a cooking chamber in which a cooking process takes place in at least one operating state, and in which fumes generated during the cooking process escape from at least one heated cooking vessel, and which, advantageously, extends at least to a large extent above the cooktop in an installation position. The term "cooking room" shall be understood to mean in particular a room, especially a space, in which the cooktop device and / or the cooking system comprising the cooktop device is set up and / or arranged.

[0030] The extraction unit has, in particular, at least one inlet unit, which defines and / or limits, in particular, at least one extraction recess through which the extraction unit extracts vapors generated in at least one operating state and / or through which vapors generated in at least one operating state pass. For example, the inlet unit could be formed, at least partially, integrally with the worktop and / or the cooktop and / or the cooktop mounting unit. In particular, the inlet unit could be formed in multiple parts, wherein, in particular, at least one sub-area of the inlet unit could be integrally formed with a first component and, in particular, a second sub-area of the inlet unit could be integrally formed with a second component. The first and / or second component could, for example, be the worktop and / or the cooktop and / or the cooktop mounting unit. The extraction unit, in particular, comprises at least one air guide unit, which defines and / or limits at least one guide path for vapors extracted from the cooking area in at least one operating state.

[0031] In particular, the air guidance unit connects the blower wheel and the inlet unit using fluid technology.

[0032] This allows for a particularly compact design. Specifically, the extraction unit can be arranged together with the cooktop and cooktop surface in the recess, thus eliminating the need for an external extraction unit. By mounting the extraction unit in the worktop recess, the user-facing surface of the extraction unit and the user-facing surface of the worktop can be arranged at least substantially in the same plane, allowing the user-facing surface to be designed at least substantially flush. This significantly reduces the likelihood of operator injury due to protruding corners, edges, or irregularities. In particular, by mounting the extraction unit in the recess of the worktop, any gaps that may occur between the extraction unit and the worktop and / or the hob plate and / or the hob plate mounting unit can be easily sealed, for example using silicone, which in particular prevents the ingress of contaminants and / or ensures a durable design.

[0033] The extraction unit could, in particular, be arranged at least partially within the mounting area. Specifically, when viewed perpendicularly to a main plane of the worktop, the extraction unit could be arranged overlapping the cooktop and / or the cooktop mounting unit for at least a large portion of its area. Preferably, when viewed perpendicularly to a main plane of the worktop, the extraction unit is arranged at least partially adjacent to the cooktop and / or the cooktop mounting unit. In particular, when viewed perpendicularly to a main plane of the worktop, the extraction unit is arranged at least partially adjacent to the cooktop and advantageously at least partially between the cooktop and the worktop. When viewed perpendicularly to a main plane of the worktop, at least the air guide unit of the extraction unit is arranged, in particular, adjacent to the cooktop and advantageously between the cooktop and the worktop. At least one component of the extraction unit, in particular at least the air guide unit of the extraction unit, could be attached, in particular, to the cooktop assembly and / or to the cooktop mounting unit and, in particular, together with the cooktop assembly and / or the cooktop mounting unit, form a pre-assembled unit. The cooking system has, in particular, at least one fastening unit which, in at least one pre-assembled state and advantageously in the operating state, attaches at least one component of the extraction unit, in particular at least the air guide unit of the extraction unit, to the cooktop assembly and / or to the cooktop mounting unit. This allows for a high degree of flexibility, particularly regarding the arrangement of the extraction unit relative to the cooktop and / or the cooktop mounting unit. Specifically, the extraction unit can be positioned next to and / or behind cooktops of varying widths and / or depths, thus achieving a high degree of flexibility and / or eliminating the need for different extraction unit designs, each adapted to a specific cooktop design, thereby reducing costs and / or inventory.

[0034] Furthermore, it is proposed that the cooking system comprise at least one inlet unit, which defines and / or limits at least one extraction opening through which the extraction unit draws away vapors generated in the operating state, particularly from the cooking chamber, and at least one closure unit, which is designed for reversibly closing the extraction opening. A "closure unit" is understood to be, in particular, a unit comprising at least one closure element which, in at least one closed state, at least substantially closes the extraction opening and, in at least one open state, at least partially and advantageously at least to a large extent, exposes the extraction opening. The closure unit comprises, in particular, at least one closure housing unit, which is attached to the inlet unit, especially in the operating state. The locking element is movably mounted, in particular relative to the locking housing unit. In the closed state of the locking element, a surface of the locking unit facing the user and a surface of the cooktop and / or worktop facing the user are arranged at least substantially in one plane.

[0035] For example, the locking element could have exactly two states, in particular the closed state and the open state, and / or be arrangable in exactly two states.
