AI Technical Summary
Existing door drives for automatic sliding door systems face challenges in achieving high integration and power density while maintaining compact dimensions, especially when integrating engine units, power supplies, and controls, due to the cylindrical shape of engine transmission units and the need for additional space for gear units.
The engine unit is designed with a cuboid shape, allowing for a more compact integration by forming a basic shape with two interconnected housing halves, enabling the integration of the power supply and control on opposite side surfaces, and using flange elements to attach to a carrier profile, thus reducing overall dimensions and allowing for a direct drive configuration.
This design achieves a high integration density and power density, allowing the door drive to be integrated into a carrier profile with smaller dimensions, reducing noise and optimizing space usage while maintaining adequate dynamics for large wing elements.
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a door system with a door drive, comprising a motor unit with a housing in which a stator is accommodated in a stationary manner. A rotor is rotatably arranged in the housing, which rotor has an output shaft, wherein the output shaft can be brought into operative connection with the leaf element in a driving manner. Furthermore, the invention relates to a door system with such a door drive, comprising at least one leaf element with which the door drive is operatively connected in a driving manner.
[0002] DE 10 2008 046 062 A1 discloses a door drive for installation on a door system. The drive serves to move the leaf elements of the door system, which is designed as an automatic sliding door. For this purpose, the door drive comprises a motor unit with a housing, and a gear unit designed as a worm gear is attached to the housing of the motor unit. Thus, the motor unit is designed as a high-speed motor, and the gear unit reduces the higher speed of the motor unit's rotor to a lower speed to drive a pulley mounted on an output shaft of the gear unit.
[0003] A toothed belt is placed over the pulley, which is connected to the leaf elements of the automatic sliding door. Since the motor unit is designed to rotate quickly and the speed must be reduced to the pulley, the gearbox unit is required in conjunction with the motor, which requires additional installation space and makes the design of the door drive more complex. The spatial dimensions of the door drive must be adapted to the requirements of the gearbox unit, and since the motor has a cylindrical basic shape, it takes up a space that does not allow for optimal use of space in relation to its installation environment. The same applies to a worm gear, which is very space-intensive, especially when combined with the motor.
[0004] DE 10 2014 115 932 A1 discloses another door drive. The door drive has a one-piece, cuboid-shaped body as its base body, in which recesses are provided to accommodate a motor unit and a gear stage. Further recesses and openings are provided in the block to accommodate a control unit, a power supply, and the like. The cuboid-shaped body thus forms a housing that supports the individual components of the door drive and is designed as a one-piece, virtually monolithic body over the entire dimensions of the drive.
[0005] DE 10 2014 115 921 A1 discloses a door drive with a drive unit, wherein the drive unit comprises at least one electric drive. Furthermore, the drive unit has a housing. The housing has a housing recess into which a control device can be inserted. The drive unit and a gear can also be inserted into the housing recess. The housing of the drive unit is formed by a base body of the door drive itself.
[0006] A door drive for a door system is known from EP 2 757 219 A2.
[0007] When designing door drives for installation on or in conjunction with a door system, the aim is to make the door drive as compact and small as possible, for example by avoiding a gear unit or gear stage within the door drive. Door drives are usually arranged above the linearly movable leaf elements of an automatic sliding door system and have a support profile that forms the base of the door system. The door drive is integrated into the support profile, and the leaf elements are also guided linearly. A toothed belt is usually used as the connection between the door drive and the leaf elements, although other traction devices such as chain connections and the like are also possible. The door drive forms a separate unit with at least the motor, a power supply and a control system, which is integrated into the door system with its arrangement on the support profile.
[0008] In order to minimize the size of the support profile with a corresponding cover, housing, or other components, it is advantageous to also, and especially, design the door drive itself as compact and small as possible. However, since glass leaf elements can reach large masses, the door drive must have a high power density in order to be able to accelerate and decelerate such leaf elements accordingly, so that the door system still achieves adequate dynamics even with large leaf elements.
[0009] For high power density and, in particular, quiet operation, motor units combined with a timing belt are ideal as direct drives. The pulley is mounted directly on the output shaft of the motor unit, over which the timing belt is placed, which in turn is directly connected to the leaf elements. This allows the door drive to operate with minimal noise, as high motor speeds are not reached. With the appropriate design of the motor unit, power densities can be provided that are sufficient to accelerate and decelerate leaf elements of, for example, 200 kg to 250 kg sufficiently for the operation of an automatic sliding door.
[0010] Motor-gearbox units with a cylindrical outer motor shape and a worm gear arranged transversely to it do not allow for particularly high integration density, especially with regard to the available output power at the output shaft. Furthermore, the further compact arrangement of a power supply, a controller, and, for example, a control unit while maintaining a high integration density is difficult.
[0011] The object of the invention is to create a door drive with a motor unit that has a high integration density and a high power density, and wherein the motor, in conjunction with the at least one leaf element, is to be designed, in particular, as a direct drive. The high integration density of the door drive is also to be achieved in the arrangement of the motor unit in conjunction with a power supply and a control unit, as well as with other components, for example an operating unit. Furthermore, consideration should be given to the fact that the door drive can be integrated into a support profile of a door system with as little space as possible, in particular in order to design the latter with smaller dimensions.
[0012] This object is achieved by a door system with a door drive according to claim 1 with the respective characterizing features. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims and in the description.
[0013] The invention includes the technical teaching that the motor unit has the basic shape of a cuboid, which is formed by at least two housing halves connected to one another.
[0014] A cuboid within the meaning of the invention is a body bounded by six rectangular surfaces, whereby the rectangular surfaces should be essentially, but not completely, flat, and may therefore have projections, curvatures, bevels, ribs, and the like. In this respect, within the meaning of the invention, the cuboid shape of the motor unit is to be understood at most approximately in the mathematical sense; a rectangular body with slight angular deviations and shape deviations thus also falls under the term cuboid, without adhering to the mathematical term of a cuboid. Since, according to the invention, only the basic shape of the motor unit is intended to form a cuboid, the basic shape can also be understood as an envelope shape, without the housing of the motor unit exactly replicating the cuboid envelope shape.
[0015] The cuboid-shaped motor unit designed according to the invention can be advantageously integrated into a door drive. The resulting side surfaces, end face, and flat rear side enable a simple assembly of the door drive with directly adjacent components, in particular components such as the power supply, the control system, and the like. In particular, a cuboid-shaped body can be arranged particularly advantageously in or on a support profile, allowing the door drive to be dimensioned with smaller dimensions overall.
[0016] The housing halves can be designed as half-shells, and when joined together, the resulting housing body completes to form a cuboid. The housing halves do not necessarily have to form an exact half of the housing, and the dividing plane between the housing halves does not have to be at half the height of a cuboid's edge. In this respect, housing halves with different dimensions, shapes, and sizes can also be provided. However, these can be placed and joined together in such a way that the cuboid is created to form the housing, thus forming the basic shape of the motor unit.
[0017] The housing halves are designed so that at least the stator and the rotor are housed internally between the housing halves. The housing halves are designed like shells and are directly connected to one another, so that a circumferential, approximately rectangular edge of each housing half is joined to one another.
[0018] According to the invention, the cuboid has a longitudinal edge, a width edge, and a height edge, wherein the longitudinal edge is larger than the width edge and / or wherein the width edge is larger than the height edge. For example, the width edge has a length of 70% to 98%, in particular of 85% to 95%, of the length of the longitudinal edge. The height edge has a length of 30% to 60%, in particular of 40% to 50%, of the length of the longitudinal edge. If the length of the longitudinal edge is, for example, 100 mm, the width edge has a length of, for example, 90 mm, and the height edge has a length of, for example, 40 mm to 50 mm.
[0019] In particular, if the width edge is smaller than the length edge, the motor unit can be integrated into the door drive in such a way that the width edge extends vertically, so that the door drive can be designed with a low installation height, particularly when arranged above the leaf elements, which is determined by the installation height of the door drive, and the installation height of the door output is in turn determined by the width of the motor unit, i.e. by the length of the width edge.
[0020] Another advantage is that the longitudinal edge and the width edge define an end face, with the output shaft projecting vertically from the end face. A pulley is mounted on the projecting section of the output shaft, and the end face can be designed without any fastening elements, allowing the belt to be guided as close as possible over the end face when the pulley is guided up to the end face.
[0021] The door drive advantageously has at least one power supply and at least one control unit, wherein the power supply and the control unit are arranged at least indirectly on the opposite side surfaces of the cuboid, wherein the opposite side surfaces are spanned by the width edge and the height edge of the cuboid. In this respect, the power supply and the control unit are arranged in the extension of the extension direction of the longitudinal edge of the cuboid of the motor unit, which is advantageous when the longitudinal edge of the motor unit extends parallel to the longitudinal direction of a support profile of the door drive. In this direction, the integration of the door drive is not as space-critical as in a transverse direction thereto, so that the longitudinal edge has the largest dimension of the cuboid of the motor unit. The indirect arrangement of the power supply and / or the control on the motor unit relates to an arrangement in which at least one further component is present between the power supply and / or the control and the motor unit, for example a bracket or a flange.
[0022] It is also advantageous to electrically insulate the motor unit in conjunction with the power supply and / or the control system, so that an additional insulating element can be placed adjacent to the side surfaces of the motor unit.
[0023] It is further advantageous to provide a first flange element arranged on the first side surface and accommodating the power supply unit, and / or a second flange element arranged on the second side surface and accommodating the control unit. In particular, the motor unit is thus held in place in the door drive by the two flange elements. By arranging the flange elements on the side surfaces, the end surface can be designed free of fastening means and, in particular, free of flange elements, so that the toothed belt, which is placed over the pulley, can run freely and as closely as possible over the end surface.
[0024] The base body of the door drive is particularly advantageously formed with the support profile, which, for example, forms an L-shaped aluminum profile. The motor unit can be aligned with the support profile and arranged on it with respect to a later installation position so that the output shaft has a horizontal extension. This results in a belt path with belt strands arranged vertically one above the other. This design is advantageous with regard to the required movement of the leaf elements and advantageous with regard to the integration of a locking device for the leaf elements, which are connected to the belts.
[0025] The flange elements are designed to be attached to the support profile, allowing the motor unit to be mounted on the support profile using the flange elements. The flange elements are sheet metal components manufactured using a stamping and bending process. These components are shaped so that the motor can be attached to the support profile via its side surfaces using the flange elements. The sheet metal elements simultaneously accommodate the power supply on one side of the motor unit and the control unit on the opposite side of the motor. Furthermore, an operating and display unit and other components for operating the door drive can be accommodated using the flange elements.
[0026] The stator of the motor unit has a substantially round basic shape, so that corner regions are formed in the body of the cuboid, in which corner regions screw holes for arranging the flange elements and / or a screw arrangement for screwing the housing halves together and / or a screw arrangement for screwing the stator to one of the housing halves are arranged. The design of the motor unit with a substantially annular stator and a cuboid-shaped housing thus advantageously provides the possibility of integrating the fastening means in the corner regions, so that the motor unit itself also has a high spatial integration density and other structural areas do not remain unused in spatial terms. The side surfaces can have a ribbed structure for further improved heat dissipation, which does not hinder the attachment of the flange elements.
[0027] Notwithstanding minor deviations such as screw receptacles and the like, the stator has a substantially annular basic structure, and the stator is received in at least one of the housing halves in such a way that an at least partially circumferential heat transfer gap is formed between the radial outer side of the stator and the inner receiving area of the housing half. In order to serve as such for heat transfer from the stator to at least one or both housing halves, this heat transfer gap is designed with values of, for example, between -0.05 mm and 0.1 mm, so that a transition fit is created between the stator and the receiving area of the stator in the housing half or in both housing halves. Heat generated in the stator during operation of the motor unit can advantageously be transferred to the housing halves and dissipated to the environment via these.
[0028] Further advantageously, the stator has surface sections on two opposite outer sides of the cuboid, wherein the surface sections correspond to window-like recesses in the opposite outer sides of the cuboid. At least one of the surface sections of the stator is brought into thermal contact with the support profile through the window-like recess. Alternatively or additionally, at least one of the surface sections of the stator can be brought into thermal contact with a separate heat sink through the window-like recess.
[0029] The door system may have a connecting element for connecting to a leaf element. Additionally or alternatively, the door system may have at least one leaf element with which the door drive is operatively connected.
[0030] For example, the door system can be designed as a sliding door system. The sliding door system can comprise a belt, in particular a toothed belt. The connecting element can be connected at least indirectly to the belt. The connecting element can be designed as a runner, in particular as a trolley. The connecting element can run in a rail, in particular in a rail of the support profile. The belt can be tensioned between pulleys of the door system.
[0031] Further measures improving the invention are described in more detail below, together with the description of a preferred embodiment of the invention, with reference to the figures. It shows: Fig. 1 shows an overall view of the door drive of a door system according to the invention with a motor unit having the design according to the invention, Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of the motor unit of a door system according to the invention, Fig. 3 shows a perspective view of the motor unit according to Fig. 2 , with one housing half removed in the view and Fig. 4 a view of another housing half of the motor unit with a stator and an output shaft.
[0032] Fig. 1shows an overall view of the door drive 100 as it can be installed in a building, which is also intended to include installation on ships and in aircraft. A door drive 100 of this type serves, for example, as a drive for an automatic sliding door system. The basic structure of the door drive 100 is a support profile 27, which is shown in abbreviated form for ease of viewing. Furthermore, the essential upper part of the L-shaped support profile 27 is shown cut open to reveal the other essential components of the door drive 100.
[0033] As a central component, the door drive 100 comprises a motor unit 1, and the motor unit 1 has the basic shape of a cuboid 14, which forms the housing 10 of the motor unit 1. To enable an output and thus a connection to a leaf element of a door system (not shown in detail), a pulley 36 is arranged on the motor unit 1, over which a toothed belt can be placed, which ultimately establishes the connection to the leaf element(s), for example, the sliding glass elements.
[0034] Adjacent to the motor unit 1, the door drive 100 has a power supply 21 and a controller 22, and the power supply 21 and the controller 22 are arranged on opposite sides of the motor unit 1. The motor unit 1 is fastened to the support profile 27 by a first flange element 25, wherein the first flange element 25 also accommodates the power supply 21. Furthermore, the motor unit 1 is connected to the support profile 27 by a second flange element 26, wherein the second flange element 26 also accommodates the controller 22. Alternatively, the design of a single flange is also possible in order to accommodate at least the motor unit 1, the power supply 21, and the controller 22. Furthermore, it is possible for the motor unit, the power supply 21, and / or the controller 22 to each have associated separate flange elements for arrangement in or on the support profile 27.
[0035] Fig. 2shows a perspective view of the isolated motor unit 1 with the housing 10, and outside the housing 10, in the illustration, the pulley 36 for coupling a toothed belt is located on the top side above the end face 20 of the housing 10. The housing 10 of the motor unit 1 has a first upper housing half 15 and a second lower housing half 16, which are designed identically by way of example, but do not have to be designed identically within the scope of the invention. The housing 10 is delimited laterally by a first side surface 23 and an opposite second side surface 24, and the flange elements 25 and 26 can be arranged on the side surfaces 23 and 24, which in Fig. 1 are shown.
[0036] The cuboid 14 formed by the housing 10 has corner regions 28, and in the respective corner regions 28, screw holes 29 are provided for fastening the flange elements 25, 26 by means of screw elements, two of which are numbered by way of example. Furthermore, screw arrangements 30 for screwing the housing halves 15 and 16 together are located in the corner regions.
[0037] The cuboid 14 is determined by the longitudinal edge 17, the width edge 18 and the height edge 19, whereby the side surfaces 23, 24 are spanned by the width edge 18 and the height edge 19.
[0038] The front surface, which is spanned by the longitudinal edge 17 and the height edge 19, has a window-shaped recess 37, from which a surface section 33 of the stator (not shown in the view) protrudes, wherein in connection with the stator 11 on Fig. 3The outwardly facing surface section 33 of the stator 11 serves for heat-transferring contact with another body, for example, with the support profile 27 or with another, separate heat sink. This allows the stator 11 to be brought into direct heat-transferring contact with a motor component, despite the essentially closed housing 10 with the upper and lower housing halves 15, 16.
[0039] The stator 11 as shown in Fig. 3 is screwed to the lower housing half 16 with the screw arrangement 31, and on the front and on the back of the stator 11 there are respective surface sections 33 in an opposite arrangement, which form a surface section of the outer skin of the motor unit 1 as described above.
[0040] Through the removed first housing half 15, the stator 11 is shown with the rotor 12 arranged inside the stator 11, wherein the rotor 12 is formed integrally with the output shaft 13, which is led out of the upper housing half 15, and the part of the output shaft 13 extending out of the end face 20 of the housing 10 receives the pulley 36.
[0041] Fig. 4 shows in conjunction with Fig. 3 In a further illustration, the lower housing half 16, further showing the rotor 12 with the output shaft 13. Within the housing half 16, but also in a manner not shown in detail in the housing half 15, there is a substantially annular receiving area 38 in which the stator 11 is received. Fig. 3a heat transfer gap 32 is shown, which results as an at least partially circumferential annular gap between the outer side of the stator 11 and the inner surface of the receiving area 38.
[0042] When the motor unit 1 is operated, the stator 11 heats up due to the current flowing through the winding (not shown in detail) on the stator 11, and the heat from the stator 11 can be transferred into the housing halves 15, 16 via the very small heat transfer gap 32. The heat transfer gap 32 is advantageously designed as a transition fit. On the rear side of the cuboid 14 opposite the end face 20 is a printed circuit board 39 on which conductor tracks are arranged, which serve in particular for contacting and wiring the winding of the stator 11. The printed circuit board 39 is attached to the housing 10 of the motor unit 1 by means of holding elements.
[0043] The invention is not limited in its implementation to the preferred embodiment described above. Rather, a number of variants are conceivable, which utilize the presented solution even in fundamentally different embodiments, as long as they fall within the scope of protection defined by the patent claims.
