[0014] The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a transmission that is easy to manufacture.
[0015] According to the invention, the object is achieved in the transmission according to the features specified in claim 1.
[0016] Important features of the invention in the transmission with a housing and a shaft unit are that the housing has a lower part and an upper part placed on the lower part, wherein the lower part has at least one, in particular semi-cylindrical recess, in particular bearing receptacle, for receiving the shaft unit, wherein the upper part has at least a second, in particular semi-cylindrical recess, in particular bearing receptacle, which together with the in particular semi-cylindrical recess of the lower part forms a complete and / or cylindrical bearing receptacle, wherein the shaft unit has a shaft onto which a first and a second bearing are placed, the outer rings of which are clamped against one another, wherein the shaft unit has one or more first shims for adjusting the clamping, in particular the bearing tension, wherein the gear has one or more second shims for adjusting the axial position of the shaft unit.
[0017] The advantage here is that the bearing tension of the shaft unit's bearings can be adjusted independently of the shaft unit's axial positioning relative to the pinion. Thus, the contact pattern of the input bevel gear stage can be adjusted independently of the bearing tension, and each of the two settings can be determined using respective shims, i.e., first and second shims. The shaft unit is pre-assembled and can therefore be stored in the warehouse.
[0018] In an advantageous embodiment, the shaft unit has a bushing part, in particular a hook bushing, in which the outer ring of the first bearing and the outer ring of the second bearing are accommodated, in particular wherein one of the outer rings of the first bearing is positioned against a projection formed on the bushing part and projecting radially inwards. It is advantageous in this case that the bushing part accommodates both outer rings and, with a ring region projecting radially inwards, creates a first stop. The second stop is created by the base ring plate, which is pressed onto the bushing part with screws and thus, via interposed shims, determines the distance of the outer ring of the second bearing and thereby adjusts the bearing tension.
[0019] In an advantageous embodiment, the inner ring of the first bearing and the inner ring of the second bearing are mounted on the shaft, with the inner ring of the first bearing being positioned against a shaft step of the shaft or against a ring positioned against a shaft step of the shaft. It is advantageous that the inner rings are axially delimitable.
[0020] In an advantageous embodiment, a round plate screwed into the end face of the shaft axially defines the inner ring of the second bearing, in particular, the inner ring of the first bearing being axially directly adjacent to the inner ring of the second bearing. It is advantageous that the inner rings are axially delimitable.
[0021] In an advantageous embodiment, a base ring plate is held against the bushing part by means of screws, with the screws protruding through the base ring plate and being screwed into axially directed threaded holes in the bushing part. The advantage here is that the distance between the base ring plate and the outer ring of the second bearing can be reduced by means of an intermediate shim or shims.
[0022] In an advantageous embodiment, the first bearing is designed as an angular contact bearing, and the second bearing is designed as an angular contact bearing. This is advantageous because it allows high transverse forces to be dissipated from the angled stage.
[0023] In an advantageous embodiment, the first shim(s) are arranged axially between the outer ring of the second bearing and the base ring plate. The advantage here is that the distance and also the bearing tension can be adjusted by adjusting the wall thickness of the shim(s).
[0024] In an advantageous embodiment, the base ring plate has axially continuous threaded holes for adjusting screws, particularly for adjusting the bearing preload, which press against the outer ring of the second bearing. This is advantageous because the distance can be adjusted using the adjusting screws before inserting the shims, thus determining the wall thickness of the shims to be inserted after removing the adjusting screws.
[0025] In an advantageous embodiment, the base ring plate has axially through holes for a feeler gauge or depth gauge, in particular with which the distance between the base ring plate and the outer ring of the second bearing can be determined. This is advantageous because the spacing and thus the wall thickness of the shims to be inserted can be easily determined.
[0026] According to the inventionthe base ring plate has radially directed recesses on its outer circumference, wherein a first of the recesses exposes the mouth of an oil bore. With an advantageous design in the area covered by the oil well
[0027] The circumferential angular range of the radial clearance area covered by the oil bore is radially spaced from the radial clearance area covered by the base ring plate. The advantage here is that oil can be supplied to the clearance between the base ring plate and the bearing cap.
[0028] In an advantageous embodiment, a wheel, in particular a bevel gear or face-toothed wheel, is placed on the shaft and positioned against a shaft shoulder, wherein a spacer sleeve is pressed against the wheel by the ring part on the side axially remote from the shaft shoulder.
[0029] In particular, the base ring plate presses the inner ring of the second bearing toward the inner ring of the first bearing, which is pressed onto the ring part. This is advantageous in that the first bearing can be easily spaced from the gear, allowing the same housing to be used for various transmission variants, particularly larger input pinions that allow for axial displacement.
[0030] In an advantageous embodiment, a third bearing is mounted on the shaft on the side of the gear facing away from the first and second bearings. This third bearing can be provided as a floating bearing, particularly as a cylindrical roller bearing or spherical roller bearing, while the other two bearings form a common fixed bearing. The first bearing and second bearing can be accommodated together in the same housing wall of the gearbox, with the wall thickness of this housing wall being greater than the sum of the wall thicknesses of the inner ring of the first bearing and the inner ring of the second bearing.
[0031] In an advantageous embodiment, the bushing part is received and / or inserted in the first, in particular semi-cylindrical, recess of the lower part, and / or the third bearing of the shaft is received and / or inserted in a further, in particular semi-cylindrical, recess for receiving the lower part. Advantageously, the shaft unit can be lowered from above onto the lower part and can be received there, in particular, on two opposite housing walls of the transmission.
[0032] In an advantageous embodiment, the base ring plate is pressed towards the lower part by means of further screws passing through the base ring plate, wherein one or more second shims are arranged between the base ring plate and the lower part, in particular wherein the base ring plate has axially continuous threaded bores through which adjusting screws protrude, which are supported on the lower part, and further axially continuous bores through which the distance between the base ring plate and the lower part can be determined using a feeler gauge. The advantage here is that a simple connection of the base ring plate and the lower part is possible.
[0033] In an advantageous embodiment, a bearing cover is connected to the lower part by means of screws in a tight, in particular oil-tight manner, in particular to cover the base ring plate, wherein a free space is formed between the base ring and the bearing cap, which free space is at least partially filled with oil, in particular wherein the area covered by the bearing cap in the axial direction comprises the area covered by the base ring plate in the axial direction and / or wherein the radial distance area covered by the bearing cap comprises the radial distance area covered by the base ring plate. It is advantageous in this case that the bearing cap covers an oil-filled free space from which the second bearing can be supplied with oil. In contrast, the first bearing can be supplied with oil from the oil sump in the interior region of the transmission.
[0034] Important features of the method for producing a gearbox are that in a first method step, a pre-completed shaft unit is produced, wherein a first and a second bearing are placed on a shaft and then their outer rings are clamped against each other, in particular by means of a bushing part receiving the outer rings and a base ring plate, using one or more first shims to adjust the clamping, in particular the bearing tension, wherein in a second method step following the first method step, the shaft unit is inserted into a lower part of the housing of the gearbox by inserting one or more second shims between the base ring plate and the lower part, the relative axial position of the shaft unit with respect to the lower part is determined,in particular, the axial position is determined by assessing the contact pattern of a gear pair formed by a wheel connected to the shaft in a rotationally fixed manner and a pinion, in particular a bevel pinion, of the transmission rotatably mounted in the housing.
[0035] The advantage here is that the bearing tension is set first, meaning the shaft unit is pre-assembled with bearing tension. The bearing tension is independent of the axial positioning of the shaft unit in the gearbox. This means that the bearing tension is not influenced when setting the contact pattern of the first gear stage, but rather the axial position can be adjusted independently of the bearing tension. This means that the shaft unit is moved axially until the contact pattern has the desired appearance. During this axial displacement, the bearing tension of the bearings that support the shaft and form a fixed bearing, i.e. the first and second bearings, remains unchanged. The third bearing on the shaft is designed as a floating bearing to compensate for thermally induced expansion. The first and second bearings are closer to the wheel than the third bearing.
[0036] Further advantages arise from the subclaims.
[0037] The invention will now be explained in more detail with the aid of schematic illustrations: In the Figure 1 a first process step for the pre-assembly of a pre-completed shaft unit is shown, in which a wheel 3, a third bearing 6 and a spacer sleeve 4 are placed on the shaft.
[0038] In the Figure 2 The second method step is shown, in which two further bearings are fitted, the outer rings (21, 23) of which are accommodated in a bushing part 25.
[0039] In the Figure 3 a third method step is shown in which a base ring plate 30 pressing on the bushing part 25 is screwed onto the shaft 1.
[0040] In the Figure 4 An oblique view of the pre-completed shaft unit produced in this way is shown.
[0041] In the Figure 5 the shaft unit is shown in section.
[0042] In the Figure 6the shaft unit is shown inserted into a lower part 60 of the housing of a transmission according to the invention and shown in section.
[0043] In the Figure 7 A section of the gearbox with the bearing cover 70 mounted is shown.
[0044] In the Figure 8 is an excerpt from the Figure 6 shown enlarged.
[0045] In the Figure 9 the shaft unit is inserted into a lower part 60 of the housing of a transmission according to the invention.
[0046] In the Figure 10 is an excerpt from the Figure 9 shown enlarged.
[0047] In the Figure 11 The gearbox is shown in an oblique view, whereby in contrast to the Figure 9 the upper part 110 is placed on the lower part 60.
[0048] In the Figure 12 is an excerpt from the Figure 11 shown enlarged.
[0049] As shown in the figures, a gearbox is manufactured according to the invention by inserting a pre-completed shaft unit, which is provided with a bearing clamp before being inserted into the gearbox housing and the contact pattern of a bevel gear stage is adjusted after insertion.
[0050] The individual steps are explained in more detail below: As in Figure 1 As shown, a third bearing 6 is placed on a shaft 1 until it rests against a step formed on the shaft 1. On the side of the third bearing 6 facing away from this step, the bearing is axially secured with a retaining ring which snaps into an annular groove in the shaft 1.
[0051] A gear 3, in particular a ring gear of the bevel gear stage of the transmission, is also placed on the shaft 1 until it rests against a shaft shoulder 2, in particular a second stage. A spacer sleeve 4 is then placed on the shaft 1 and rests against the gear 3. An annular part 5 is then placed on the shaft 1 and rests against another shaft shoulder, in particular a stage, wherein the inner diameter of the annular part 5 is smaller than the inner diameter of the spacer sleeve 4 and the radial distance area covered by the annular part 5 comprises the radial distance area covered by the spacer sleeve 4.
[0052] As in Figure 2 As shown, a first and a second bearing are placed on the shaft following the ring part 5. The inner ring 20 of the first bearing is positioned against the ring part 5, and the inner ring 22 of the second bearing is positioned against the inner ring 20 of the first bearing.
[0053] A round plate 24 pressed onto the end face of the shaft 1 by screws 26 presses on the inner ring 22, which presses on the inner ring 20, which is pressed against the ring part 5.
[0054] The screws 26 are screwed into axially directed threaded holes in the end face of the shaft 1, so that the screw heads of the screws 26 press against the round plate 24. The outer ring 21 of the first bearing is accommodated in a bushing part 25, in particular a hooked bushing. The outer ring 23 of the second bearing is also accommodated in this bushing part 25.
[0055] The first and second bearings are preferably designed as angular contact bearings, in particular in an X arrangement.
[0056] The bushing part 25 has at its first axial end region a radially inwardly projecting ring region, in particular a projection, against which the outer ring 21 is positioned.
[0057] The bushing part 25 radially surrounds the outer ring 21 and the outer ring 23 and has, on its end face facing away from the end region, axially directed threaded holes that are regularly spaced from one another in the circumferential direction.
[0058] As in Figure 3 As shown, a base ring plate 30 is pressed towards the end face of the bushing part 25 facing away from the ring area, in particular the projection, by means of screws 34, wherein the screws are screwed into axially directed threaded bores of the bushing part 25.
[0059] To adjust the bearing tension, one or more shims are inserted between the bushing part 25 and the base ring plate 30. To determine the wall thickness to be applied by the shims, before inserting the shims, adjusting screws 33 are first screwed into threaded holes through the base ring plate 30 until these adjusting screws protrude toward the bushing part 25 and press on the bushing part 25 and / or until the adjusting screws press on the outer ring 23 of the second bearing.
[0060] By operating the adjusting screws 33, this pressure is adjusted such that the desired bearing tension is achieved. During this adjustment process, a measure of the bearing tension is determined using an appropriate means. For example, a torque is determined when rotating shaft 1 in a test fixture, and the adjusting screws are operated such that the torque value reaches a target value.
[0061] Alternatively, the breakaway torque of shaft 1 is determined and the adjusting screws are operated until the breakaway torque reaches a target value.
[0062] Alternatively, only the clearance of the base ring plate 30 to the bushing part 25 or to the outer ring 23 is determined via push-pull and the adjusting screws 33 are actuated until the breakaway torque reaches a desired value.
[0063] Push-Pull here includes checking the freedom from play or the remaining axial clearance by measuring the axial play using a measuring probe.
[0064] Alternatively, the adjusting screws are operated in such a way that the bearing stress can be estimated by visual inspection by rotating all rolling elements of the first and second bearing when a predetermined torque is applied to the shaft.
[0065] After the adjusting screws 33 have been actuated in such a way, in particular in one of the ways mentioned by way of example, that the desired bearing tension has been set, the axial distance between the base ring plate 30 and the outer ring 23 is determined and / or recorded by means of a feeler gauge or by means of another measuring device through a hole 35 axially passing through the base ring plate 30.
[0066] Then the adjusting screws 33 are removed and one or more shims are installed between the base ring plate 30 and the outer ring 23. When screwing on the screws 34, the screw heads of the screws 34 press on the base ring plate 30, which then presses on the outer ring 23 via the shims, which then presses on the outer ring 23 via the
[0067] Rolling elements of the second bearing press the inner ring 22 onto the inner ring 21, which in turn presses the outer ring 21 of the first bearing against the ring area of the bushing part 25 via the rolling elements of the first bearing. The bushing part 25 is connected to the base ring plate 30 by means of the screws 34.
[0068] In Figure 4 and Figure 5 Further views are shown. It can be seen that the base ring plate 30 has radially directed recesses 31 and 32, particularly depressions, on its radial outer circumference. The function of these recesses 31 and 32 is clearly evident in the subsequent figures. This is because the recess 32 creates space for the outlet area of an oil pipe, and the recess 31 creates space for the actuation of screws.
[0069] After manufacturing this pre-assembled shaft unit, it is inserted into the lower part 60 of the gearbox housing, as shown in Figure 6 shown.
[0070] The gearbox housing has a lower part 60 and an upper part 110 that can be placed on top of it.
[0071] The lower part 60 has semicircular machined bearing seats for the third bearing 6 and the first and second bearings. The outer rings of the respective bearings can be countersunk and thus accommodated in these semicircular recesses.
[0072] As in Figure 6 As shown, after receiving the pre-completed shaft unit, the wheel 3 is arranged in such a way that a bevel pinion, the axis of rotation of which is aligned perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the shaft 1, can be received in a further semicircular recess 61 with the input shaft of the gear unit connected to this bevel pinion and the further bearing placed thereon.
[0073] Thus, the input gear stage can be designed as a bevel gear stage.
[0074] The upper part 110 is placed on the lower part 70 and connected to it.
[0075] As in Figure 7 As shown, a bearing cap 70 is screwed onto the lower part 60 and the upper part 110 connected to it for covering. This covers the base ring plate 30 and is spaced from the base ring plate 30. In this way, oil can flow into the space between the base ring plate 30 and the bearing cap 70, which can be pressurized with oil to lubricate the first and second bearings. This oil penetrates into the space through a bore through the lower part 60 from the oil sump of the gearbox arranged in the lower part 60. The radial distance range covered by the bearing cap 70, which in turn is related to the axis of rotation of the shaft 1, comprises the radial distance range covered by the base ring plate 30 and also the radial distance range covered by the first and second bearings.
[0076] The bearing cap 70 is tightly connected to the lower part, i.e., it is provided with an intermediate seal. The seal is also arranged between the bearing cap 70 and the upper part 110.
[0077] Second shims 80 are arranged between the base ring plate 30 and the lower part 60. Thus, the axial position of the entire pre-assembled unit can be adjusted by adjusting the wall thickness of the selected second shims 80. This wall thickness is determined depending on the contact pattern of the meshing gear pair, which consists of the bevel pinion and gear 3.
[0078] Preferably, the meshing area of the teeth of one of the two gearing partners, i.e., the bevel pinion or gear 3, is colored, and then the pinion is rotated with the set spacing so that a contact pattern can be determined. By changing the spacing as precisely as possible, the desired contact pattern can be achieved, thus determining the required wall thickness of the second shims 80.
[0079] The change can be achieved either by successively inserting second shims 80 of different thicknesses or by using adjusting screws that are screwed into the base ring plate 30 and supported on the lower part 60. Through additional holes drilled through the base ring plate 30, the distance between the base ring plate 30 and the lower part 60 can be determined using a feeler gauge, thus determining the required wall thickness.
[0080] The base ring plate 30 is pressed toward the lower part by screw heads that are screwed into axially directed threaded holes in the lower part, i.e., pressed onto the lower part 60 via the second shims 80. The axial direction, the radial distance, and the circumferential direction or the circumferential angle always refer to the rotational axis of shaft 1.
[0081] In further embodiments of the invention, a means for fixing the distance is used instead of shims. For the sake of simplicity, these are referred to here as shims. List of reference symbols
