Description
[0001] The invention relates to a seating device for a tilting vehicle, with at least one seat, with at least one frame structure which comprises an element of a vehicle frame of the tilting vehicle or can be or is fixed to the vehicle frame and to which the seat can be or is fixed, and with at least one holding device which comprises at least one support means which is directly or indirectly fixed to the frame structure and which comprises at least one receiving unit which can be or is arranged detachably on the support means and on which an additional body can be arranged and can be detachably fixed to the receiving unit by means of a coupling means fixed to the additional body.
[0002] Seating systems for tilting vehicles are known in various designs and variants from the prior art. On the one hand, tilting vehicles with seating systems are known in which the seating system entirely comprises a bench seat on which both a user of the tilting vehicle and an additional passenger, a so-called pillion passenger, can be arranged.
[0003] In addition, seat systems for tilting vehicles are known, where a luggage rack or holder can be permanently and securely installed on the seat. These can overlap the seat and reduce the space for an additional passenger. To ensure road safety, these luggage racks must be installed by qualified personnel, which proves to be cumbersome, time-consuming, and inflexible.
[0004] Seat devices disclosing the preamble of claim 1 are known from DE 10 2006 046005.
[0005] An object of an embodiment of the invention is to propose a seat device for a tilting vehicle to which an additional body can be arranged in a simple and traffic-safe manner.
[0006] This object is achieved in a seating device for a tilting vehicle mentioned at the outset by at least one locking element, by means of which the receiving unit can be releasably secured to the support means in a joined arrangement, wherein the locking element comprises a latching means, by means of which the receiving unit can be secured to the support means by forming a rear grip with respect to the joining direction, with at least one seat, with at least one frame structure which comprises an element of a vehicle frame of the tilting vehicle or can be or is secured to the vehicle frame and to which the seat can be or is secured, and with at least one holding device which comprises at least one support means which is directly or indirectly secured to the frame structure and which comprises at least one receiving unit which can be or is arranged releasably on the support means,on which an additional body can be arranged and releasably secured to the receiving unit by means of a coupling means fixed to the additional body.
[0007] Because the seat assembly comprises a support element that is directly or indirectly attached to the frame structure, an element of the retaining device can be permanently mounted on the seat assembly in a roadworthy manner. Because the receiving unit can be removably attached to the support element and an additional body can be attached to the receiving unit, the receiving unit and the additional body can be flexibly secured as needed by a user of the tilting vehicle without additional professional assistance.
[0008] The receiving unit can, in principle, be attached to the support structure in any desired manner. Embodiments of the seat device are conceivable in which the receiving unit can be arranged on a side of the support means facing away from the seat. In this case, the additional body is arranged below the seat. Furthermore, embodiments of the seat device are conceivable in which the receiving unit can be attached adjacent to the seat, in particular projecting beyond one end of the seat. In this case, the additional body is arranged adjacent to the seat and continues the seat against the direction of travel.
[0009] Embodiments of the seat device are preferred in which the receiving unit can be arranged or is arranged in the joined arrangement on the side of the support means facing the seat bench and / or in which the receiving unit overlaps the seat bench on a side facing away from the frame structure, at least in sections or entirely, and / or comprises a section of the seat bench that continues the seat bench.
[0010] If the receiving unit can be arranged in the assembled arrangement on the side of the support element facing the seat, this allows for a flexible design of the seat. In this case, the additional body can, for example, comprise a section of the seat that can be secured to the receiving unit. In this case, the seat surface of the seat can be extended. Furthermore, the additional body, designed as an additional section of the seat, can comprise a backrest or the like.
[0011] If the receiving unit is arranged in the assembled arrangement on the side of the support means facing the seat and at least partially overlaps the seat on a side facing away from the frame structure, a portion of the seat surface can be used, at least temporarily, to transport an additional object, which may include, for example, a bag, a helmet compartment, a transport container (top case), a luggage roll, or the like. The receiving unit can then form a luggage bridge.
[0012] Furthermore, it proves to be advantageous if the support means comprises an element of the frame structure or is permanently fixed to the frame structure or if the support means can be fixed or is fixed detachably to the frame structure.
[0013] If the support means comprises an element of the frame structure, the support means and frame structure can form a common component, in particular the support means can be formed by a section of the frame structure. This allows the seating device to be designed with fewer components.
[0014] If the support element is permanently attached to the frame structure, this can be done, for example, by gluing, welding or the like.
[0015] If the support means can be releasably attached or fixed to the frame structure, the seating device can be easily retrofitted.
[0016] Furthermore, in embodiments of the seating device, the support means and the receiving unit can comprise separate or separable components.
[0017] If the support means and the receiving unit comprise separate or separable components, the receiving unit can always be removed if the arrangement of an additional body is not desired or not necessary.
[0018] It is advantageous if the receiving unit can be arranged on the support element along a joining direction running parallel, transversely, or obliquely to the longitudinal axis of the tilting vehicle. The receiving unit can be pushed onto the support element along the joining direction or can be plugged onto the support element.
[0019] The locking element can be secured by positive locking, force locking, or friction locking. In a further development of the latter embodiment, it proves advantageous if the locking element comprises a clamping device by which the receiving unit can be subjected to a clamping force and can be clamped or tightened toward the support element, particularly if the clamping device comprises a spring element, a clamping lever, and / or a clamping or expanding plate.
[0020] In such a case, a positive, force-locking or frictional connection between the receiving unit and the support means can be further improved.
[0021] The clamping means can, for example, comprise a clamping lever that can be moved from an open position to a closed position by manual actuation, wherein moving the clamping lever from the open position to a closed position increases a prevailing clamping force. Furthermore, a clamping means designed as a clamping lever can additionally form a rear grip of the receiving unit with the support means if the receiving unit comprises, for example, a pincer-shaped section that is applied to a corresponding section of the receiving unit, and the rear grip is created by moving the clamping lever.
[0022] If the clamping device comprises, for example, a spring element, the receiving unit can engage in corresponding recesses in the support means with locking lugs pre-tensioned by the spring elements.
[0023] If the clamping device comprises a clamping or spreading plate, a clamping force created between the receiving unit and the support means can also be increased.
[0024] In order to fix the additional body to the receiving unit in a simple manner, it proves to be advantageous if the coupling means on the additional body comprises a projection by means of which the additional body can be or is releasably fixed to the receiving unit and / or to the support means and / or if the coupling means comprises an automatically or manually operable unlocking means by means of which the coupling means can be released from the receiving unit and / or the support means.
[0025] By providing a coupling means on the additional body in the form of a projection and by providing a release means, the additional body can be easily attached to the receiving unit and released again.
[0026] The functionality of the seating device can be improved if the seating device comprises at least one handle unit for a user of the tilting vehicle, which handle unit can be or is fixed directly to the frame structure and / or which is formed by at least one section of the support means and / or the receiving unit.
[0027] If the handle unit is formed by the frame structure or the support means, the handle unit is fixed to the vehicle. If the frame structure forms the handle unit, the frame structure and handle unit can comprise a common, one-piece component. In this case, the seating device can be designed with reduced components. If the support means comprises the handle unit, a handle unit can be easily retrofitted by arranging the support means on the frame structure. This allows an additional user of the tilting vehicle, in particular a pillion passenger, to hold on to the tilting vehicle.
[0028] If the handle unit is formed on the receiving unit, the handle unit is designed to be fixed to the luggage bridge.
[0029] In a further development of the latter embodiments, the handles of the handle unit can be fixed relative to the tilting vehicle or can be moved from a storage position to a working position in which the handles of the handle unit are accessible to a user of the tilting vehicle. In this case, the handles can be designed to be telescopic or pivotable.
[0030] Further features, details and advantages of the invention emerge from the appended patent claims, from the drawings and the following description of preferred embodiments of the seating device.
