Description
TECHNICAL AREA
[0001] The present invention relates to a mounting device for fastening at least one sanitary article. STATE OF THE ART
[0002] Mounting devices for securing sanitary articles are known from the prior art. Such mounting devices are permanently installed behind a wall and serve to store sanitary articles such as cisterns, toilet bowls, urinals, fittings, washbasins, control elements, electrical components, etc. For example, EP 2 662 502 discloses such a mounting device.
[0003] Although very good results are achieved with state-of-the-art mounting devices when installing in a building, it is desirable for manufacturers to create a mounting device that is more flexible in its application.
[0004] From the publications EP 3 670 772 and DE 203 04 749 U1, assembly devices are known which have a crossbeam element with an upper web, a lower web and a front web. Further assembly devices have become known from DE 34 10 499, EP 2 366 838 and DE 10 2013 203941. PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0005] Based on this prior art, the invention is based on the objective of providing a mounting device for attaching at least one sanitary article, which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, it is an objective of the present invention to provide a mounting device for attaching at least one sanitary article which is more flexible in its application.
[0006] This problem is solved by the subject matter of claim 1. Accordingly, a mounting device for fastening at least one sanitary article comprises two spaced-apart supports, each extending along a central axis, and a crossbar element arranged between the supports and connecting the two supports, with at least one fastening element. The crossbar element has a lower web, a front web, and an upper web, wherein the lower web projects at an angle α from a lower edge of the front web, and wherein the upper web projects at an angle β from an upper edge of the front web. The at least one fastening element is accessible through at least one opening in the front web. At least one of the webs is connected at each end to the supports by a welded connection. This means that at least one of the webs selected from the group consisting of lower web, front web, and upper web is connected at its end to the supports via a welded connection. Particularly preferably, the lower web and the upper web are each connected at their end to the supports via a welded connection. In another preferred embodiment, the lower web, the front web, and the upper web are each connected at their end to the supports via a welded connection.
[0007] This design of the crossbeam allows for a low-profile front panel, freeing up space above the crossbeam (when installed) for the installation of additional components related to the sanitary fixture. These components include, for example, further sanitary fixtures, electrical boxes, control units, odor extraction fans, etc. This design thus enables more flexible use.
[0008] The front panel has a front surface which, when installed, faces the sanitary fixture. The sanitary fixture rests against this front surface via a partition wall. The partition wall can be designed in various ways. When installed, the crossbar element is open at the rear and closed at the front by the front surface.
[0009] A C-profile can be created by arranging the lower and upper webs so that they protrude from the front web.
[0010] The welded joint between the truss element and the two supports can extend along the full length of the lower web, the front web, or the upper web. However, the welded joint can also extend only over a portion of this length.
[0011] The at least one fastening element can be designed in various ways. For example, as a threaded opening directly in the crossbeam element, as openings in the crossbeam element, as nuts behind an opening in the crossbeam element, or as a separate fastening component behind an opening in the crossbeam element. Preferably, a threaded rod can be connected to the at least one fastening element. This means that the at least one fastening element is, for example, a receptacle for a threaded rod. Preferably, said fastening component is firmly connected to the crossbeam element and is preferably located behind the front web.
[0012] Preferably, an upper free end of the upper web, which is opposite the upper edge of the front web, is located at a vertical distance of 40 to 90 millimeters from the lower web.
[0013] The vertical distance is the distance in a direction parallel to the front surface of the front web. In the installed position, the vertical distance extends vertically.
[0014] Choosing this vertical spacing in this area has the advantage that the crossbeam, viewed above the fastening elements, expands only minimally. This creates space for the installation of the aforementioned additional elements.
[0015] Preferably, a reference plane extends perpendicular to the central axes of the two supports and through the center of the at least one fastening element. An upper free end of the upper web, which lies opposite the upper edge of the front web, is located at a vertical distance of 35 to 60 millimeters from the reference plane.
[0016] Preferably, the angle β between the front web and the upper web is in the range of 100° to 150°. The angular inclination between the front web and the upper web increases the stability of the truss element.
[0017] Preferably the angle α between the front web and the lower web is in the range of 80° to 100°, preferably at 90°.
[0018] Preferably, the upper web and / or the lower web has a termination section projecting parallel to the front web. This termination section provides the aforementioned free end of the upper web. The projecting termination section further increases the stability of the crossbeam element.
[0019] Preferably, the front surfaces of the supports define a front plane, and the rear surfaces of the supports define a back plane. Preferably, the crossbeam element is positioned such that the front surface of the front web lies in said front plane. Furthermore, the upper web extends from the front plane to the back plane. If the optional connecting section is present, its rear side lies in said back plane. The lower web extends from the front plane to at least the back plane.
[0020] Preferably, the mounting device further comprises a wall element designed separately from the mounting device, which, viewed in the installed position, can be arranged above the crossbeam element, the wall element preferably being in contact with the crossbeam element. The wall element can be used selectively depending on the installation situation.
[0021] Preferably, the wall element is made of plastic or metal. The wall element can be mounted in various ways. Preferably, the wall element is mounted in a detachable manner, for example, via a snap-fit and / or click-fit connection. For example, the wall element can be attached to the upper web. Particularly preferably, the wall element is in contact with the end section of the upper web.
[0022] Preferably, the upper web is designed in such a way that it serves to support the wall element.
[0023] The wall element is preferably attached to the aforementioned connection section.
[0024] Preferably, the wall element has a back wall and an upper wall. In its installed position, the back wall preferably runs parallel to the two central axes, and the upper wall extends at an angle δ to the back wall, such that a space is created between the upper web, the end section, the back wall, and the upper wall.
[0025] Preferably, the back wall forms the continuation of the closing section.
[0026] The installation space accommodates connection elements such as sanitary fittings, electrical boxes, etc. When installed, the space is accessible from the front. The wall element shields the space from the rear, which is a significant advantage when insulating a pre-wall structure in which the mounting device is installed.
[0027] When installed, the installation space is accessible from the front. In other words, the installation space is designed so that it is open at the front, which simplifies the installation of the aforementioned components.
[0028] Preferably, the rear wall of the wall element has a back surface that lies in a rear plane defined by the rear surfaces of the supports. Preferably, the upper wall of the wall element extends to a front plane defined by the front surfaces of the supports.
[0029] Preferably, the crossbeam element has a break through the front web and the upper web. The break serves to allow for the routing of connecting cables.
[0030] Preferably, the wall element has an opening which is arranged in such a way that the opening in the traverse element continues upwards.
[0031] Furthermore, the traverse element is provided by a front support part with a support wall, against which a sanitary article can be supported, and by a rear support part with a back wall, wherein the front web and the upper web are formed on the front support part and the lower web on the rear support part.
[0032] The front support element and / or the rear support element preferably have at least one connecting tab which projects at an angle, in particular at a right angle, from the support wall and / or the rear wall. The two support elements can be firmly connected to each other via this at least one connecting tab, such that, in the connected state, the support wall is spaced apart from the rear wall.
[0033] The arrangement of connecting tabs on the two support elements offers the advantage of very simple manufacturing of the truss element. In particular, complex alignment work is eliminated, since the connecting tabs allow the two support elements to be positioned relative to each other and then connected via these tabs.
[0034] The term "permanently bondable" refers to a connection that is mechanically strong. Such a connection can be achieved through material bonding, form-fitting, and / or force-fitting. A welded connection is particularly preferred.
[0035] The distance between the supporting wall and the back wall offers the advantage that the traverse element can be provided as a hollow body, thus creating high mechanical stability.
[0036] Preferably, the at least one connecting tab of the front support part comes into full-surface contact with the at least one connecting tab of the rear support part. In the connected state, the connecting tabs of the front and rear support parts are in full-surface contact with each other.
[0037] The advantage of precise positioning of the two support elements relative to each other arises from the surface contact between the two connecting tabs. Furthermore, this surface contact provides a supporting effect between the two support elements. Additionally, the aforementioned rigid connection can be positioned within the area of surface contact.
[0038] Preferably, in one variant, the at least one connecting tab of one support part is shorter than the at least one connecting tab of the other support part. At least one weld point is provided at the end face of the shorter connecting tab and the surface of the longer connecting tab. The shorter length of one connecting tab creates space for a weld point. In particular, the weld point is located in the area of the surface of the longer connecting tab, which has the advantage that the weld point is located in a location well suited for a weld.
[0039] Preferably, in another embodiment, the at least one connecting tab of one support part is the same length as the at least one connecting tab of the other support part. At least one weld point is provided at the end face of one connecting tab and the surface of the other connecting tab. If the connecting tabs are of the same length, the weld joint also extends to the surface of the other connecting tab.
[0040] Preferably, the support wall, the back wall, the connecting tabs, and the supports define a hollow body with a cavity, wherein the weld point is located outside the cavity. This provides good accessibility for producing the weld. In particular, the shorter connecting tab is located outside the cavity when connected.
[0041] Preferably, the at least one connecting tab of the front support part abuts the inner surface of the rear support part facing the front support part, thereby defining the distance between the front and rear support parts. Alternatively or similarly, the at least one connecting tab of the rear support part abuts the inner surface of the front support part facing the rear support part, thereby defining the distance between the front and rear support parts.
[0042] By attaching the connecting tabs to the corresponding inner surface, the advantage is that no additional elements are required to define the distance between the two support parts. This greatly simplifies the manufacturing and assembly of the truss element.
[0043] Preferably, the front support element, the support wall, and the at least one connecting tab are formed integrally. Likewise, the rear support element, the back wall, and the connecting tab are formed integrally.
[0044] Preferably, the two support parts are manufactured from a single sheet of metal, with the connecting tabs being bent from the support wall or back wall. Before the bending process, the sheet metal is cut or punched to the required shape and dimensions.
[0045] Preferably, the traverse element comprises a recess which provides a free space through the traverse element through which a drain pipe can be passed, wherein the recess in the support parts is formed by a cutout in the support wall and the back wall.
[0046] Preferably, the recess extends into the crossbeam element from below and is open at the bottom. The recess can have various shapes. A rectangular recess is particularly preferred. Other shapes, such as V-shaped or trapezoidal, are also conceivable. The recess is particularly preferred to have straight side edges, so that a connecting tab can be bent away from the supporting wall or the back wall.
[0047] Preferably, connecting tabs extend along the side edges opposite the cutout, and further connecting tabs extend along the side edges that extend from the cutout to the support.
[0048] Preferably, the connecting tabs extend over the entire length of the respective side edge from which they protrude.
[0049] Preferably, the retaining wall and the back wall are connected to the respective support via their side edges facing the support, with the connecting tabs running along free side edges that are not connected to the support.
[0050] Preferably, the connecting tabs are joined to each other via a weld. Preferably, the crossbeam element is made of metal and is materially bonded, in particular via a weld, and / or positively or frictionally connected to the support. Alternatively, the crossbeam element is made of plastic and is positively and / or frictionally connected to the supports.
[0051] Preferably, the support section extends substantially downwards with respect to the at least one fastening element in the installed position.
[0052] Preferably, the maximum extent of the traverse element in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the supports is in the range of 150 mm to 500 mm, particularly in the range of 200 mm to 400 mm, and especially preferably the extent is between 275 mm and 350 mm.
[0053] Preferably at least one, in particular each, of the supports is connected to a footrest, on the footrest of which the mounting device stands on a floor, wherein the footrest is preferably designed to be displaceable relative to the support and lockable to the support.
[0054] An arrangement comprises a mounting device as described above and a sanitary article mounted on the mounting device with a support surface, wherein the support surface of the sanitary article overlaps parts of the support wall of the front support part.
[0055] Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EXECUTION FORMS
[0057] In the Figures 1 to 10 A mounting device 1 according to one embodiment is shown and described in the Figures 11 to 14A mounting device 1 according to a further embodiment is shown. Identical parts are provided with the same reference numerals. The mounting device 1 according to both embodiments serves for the fastening of at least one sanitary article.
[0058] In the illustrated embodiments, the mounting device 1 comprises two spaced-apart supports 2, each extending along a central axis M, and a crossbar element 3 arranged between the supports 2 and connecting them, with at least one fastening element 4. The sanitary fitting is attached to the crossbar element 3 by the fastening element 4. In the illustrated embodiment, several fastening elements 4 are arranged side by side. In the installed position, the two supports 2 typically run vertically V, i.e., in the plumb direction. The two supports 2 are connected at their upper ends by a crossbar 28.
[0059] In both embodiments, the crossbeam element 3 has a lower web 34, a front web 35, and an upper web 36. The crossbeam element 3 is designed differently in the two embodiments. In the first embodiment, an arrangement is shown in which the crossbeam element 3 is provided by a front support part 5 and a rear support part 7. In the further embodiment, an arrangement is shown in which the crossbeam element 3 is designed as a profile element.
[0060] The front web 35 has a front surface which, in its installed position, is oriented vertically. The front web extends from one support 2 to the other support 2, completely across the space between the two supports 2.
[0061] The lower web 34 is inclined at an angle α to a lower edge 37 of the front web 35. The angle α lies between 80° and 100°, particularly at 90°.
[0062] The upper web 36 is inclined at an angle β to an upper edge 38 of the front web 35. The angle β is preferably in the range of 100° to 150°.
[0063] With regard to the at least one fastening element 4, the front web 35 and the upper web 36 are designed such that the cross member element 3 extends upwards only to a comparatively small extent. This creates an installation space accessible from the front in the installed position. This installation space is designated by reference numeral 45.
[0064] Preferably, an upper free end 40 of the upper web 36 is located opposite the upper edge 38 of the front web 35 at a vertical distance A1 of 50 to 90 millimeters to the lower web 34. The vertical distance A1 is the distance viewed perpendicular to the surface of the lower web 34.
[0065] A vertical distance A2 from a reference plane RE to the upper free end 40 of the upper web 36 is preferably in a range of 35 to 60 millimeters. The reference plane RE extends perpendicular to the central axes M of the two supports 2 and centrally through the at least one fastening element 4.
[0066] The at least one fastening element 4 is accessible through at least one opening 39 in the front web 35. In the illustrated embodiment, several fastening elements 4 are arranged, which typically serve to receive threaded rods. The fastening elements 4 can be integrally formed on the crossbeam element 3 or connected to the crossbeam element 3 as an additional element.
[0067] In both embodiments, the lower web 34 and / or the front web 35 and / or the upper web 36 are each connected at their ends to the supports 2 by a welded joint. The welded joint preferably extends over the full length of the edge of the lower web 34, the front web 35, and the upper web 36 that is associated with the support 2. However, the welded joint may also be interrupted in sections.
[0068] In the illustrated embodiments, the upper web 36 further comprises a termination section 41. The upper web 36 is oriented parallel to the front web and forms the free end of the upper web 36.
[0069] The front surface 32 of the supports 2 defines a front plane F, and the rear surface 33 of the supports 2 defines a rear plane R. In both embodiments, the front web 35 lies with its front surface in the front plane F. The upper web 36 extends from the front plane F to the rear plane R. The end section 41 lies with its rear side in the rear plane R. The lower web 34 preferably also extends between the front plane F and the rear plane R. The lower web 34 can also extend rearward through the rear plane R.
[0070] According to both embodiments, the mounting device 1 further comprises an optional wall element 42. The wall element 42 is designed separately from the mounting device 1 and can be connected to it. The wall element 42 essentially serves to shield the installation space above the crossbeam element 3 from the rear. This ensures that no dirt, insulation flakes, mortar, etc., can enter the installation space above the crossbeam element 3 from behind during the installation process.
[0071] The wall element 42 is preferably attached to the crossbeam element 3. The upper web 36 is particularly preferably designed to serve as a support for the wall element 42. That is, the wall element 42 can be connected to the upper web 36.
[0072] Preferably, the wall element 42 extends from one support 2 to the other support 2.
[0073] Preferably, the wall element 42 has a back wall 43 and an upper wall 44. The back wall 43 runs parallel to the central axis M, and the upper wall 44 extends at an angle δ to the back wall 43. The back wall 43 and the upper wall 44 extend in such a way that a space 45 is created between the upper web 36, the end section 41, the back wall 43, and the upper wall 44.
[0074] The rear wall 43 has a back surface that lies in a rear plane R spanned by the rear surfaces 33 of the supports 2. The upper wall 44 extends to a front plane F spanned by the front surfaces 32 of the supports 2.
[0075] In both embodiments, the crossbeam element 3 has a cutout 24 and the wall element 42 has an opening 46. The cutout 24 and the opening 46 are each arranged such that the cutout 24 continues into the opening 46. The cutout 24 and the opening 46 serve, for example, to allow the passage of a flushing pipe, an electrical cable, or another element.
[0076] In both embodiments, the crossbeam element 3 is preferably made of a sheet steel. This is achieved in particular by a punching operation followed by a forming operation. The crossbeam element 3 is connected to the supports 2 via a welded connection, wherein the side edges 27 facing the supports 2 are welded to the supports 2 accordingly.
[0077] In both embodiments, the mounting device 1 further comprises two foot supports 31, which are telescopically mounted in the support 2. The foot supports 31 can be moved relative to the support 2 and locked in place at the set height.
[0078] In the illustrated embodiments, the supports 2 are designed as hollow profiles. These hollow profiles have a rectangular, in particular a square, cross-section.
[0079] The following section details the embodiment according to the Figures 1 to 10 described.
[0080] As explained above, the crossbeam element according to this embodiment is formed by a front support part 5 and a rear support part 7. The front web 35 and the upper web 36 are formed on the front support part 5. The lower web 34 is formed on the rear support part 7. When the two support parts 5 and 7 are assembled, the lower web 34 comes into contact with the front web 35. A support wall 6 adjoins the front web 35 downwards. The front web 35 and the support wall 6 lie in the same plane and are formed integrally with each other.
[0081] The Figure 1 and 2 The mounting device is shown in perspective from the front and back. Figure 3A front view is shown. In the illustrated embodiment, the crossbeam element 3 has a recess 18 through which, for example, a drain pipe can be passed. The width of the recess 18, viewed transversely to the central axis M of the supports 2, corresponds in the illustrated example to approximately one-third of the total width of the crossbeam element 3. To the left and right of the recess 18, the crossbeam element 3, or rather the front support section 5 and the rear support section 7, extend. In other words, the recess 18 extends from an area located below and opposite the at least one fastening element 4 into the crossbeam element 3. Viewed in the installed position, the recess 18 extends into the crossbeam element 3 from below and is open at the bottom.
[0082] The Figure 4Figure 1 shows an exploded view of the assembly device 1. The crossbar element 3 is shown here before its actual assembly and connection to the support 2. The crossbar element 3 is provided by the front support part 5 with a support wall 6 and by the rear support part 7 with a back wall 8. The sanitary fitting can be supported against the support wall 6. In the embodiment shown, the at least one fastening element 4 is located above the support wall 6 when viewed in the installed position. This means that the at least one fastening element 4 is subjected to tensile stress when the sanitary fitting is installed, and that the support wall 6, or the crossbar element 3, is subjected to compressive stress.
[0083] In the illustrated embodiment, the front support part 5 and the rear support part 7 each have at least one connecting tab 9, 10. The connecting tabs 9, 10 extend at right angles from the support wall 6 and the rear wall 8, respectively. Other angles are also possible. The two support parts 5, 7 are formed in one piece. That is, the connecting tabs 9, 10 are integrally arranged on the support wall 6 and the rear wall 8, respectively.
[0084] The two support parts 5, 6 can be firmly connected to each other via at least one connecting tab 9, 10. The connection is such that, in the connected state, the support wall 6 is spaced apart from the rear wall 8. The connection is made starting from the Figure 3The two support parts 5, 7 are shown in such a way that they are moved towards each other until they are positioned accordingly and can be connected via the at least one connecting tab 9, 10. The connection between the two connecting tabs 9, 10 is preferably a welded connection.
[0085] The Figures 5 and 6 The following are exploded views of the truss element 2 without the supports 2. The front support part 5 and the rear support part 7 are shown separately. Figure 7 shows a sectional view along section line VI of the Figure 2 Based on the Figures 5 to 7 Further features of the two support parts will now be explained.
[0086] The front support section 5 has a cutout 19 in the support wall 6 to provide the aforementioned recess 18. The cutout 19 is formed by two opposing side edges 20. A connecting tab 9 projects from each of the side edges 20 at a right angle to the support wall 6. A connecting tab 9 is also arranged on each of the lower side edges 21, which extend from the end of the side edge 20 at the lower end of the front support section 5 to the support 2, and which projects at a right angle to the support wall 6. In the installed position, the lower side edge 21 extends essentially horizontally. The connecting tabs 9 have a length perpendicular to the support wall 6. The length of the connecting tabs 9 projecting from the side edge 20 is greater than the length of the connecting tabs 9 projecting from the side edge 21.
[0087] On its upper side, the front support part 4 has the front web 35 and the upper web 36, as well as at least one fastening element 4. In the installed position, the upper web extends rearward from the fastening elements 4. In the illustrated embodiment, the front support part 5 has a tab section 30 in the area of the fastening elements 4, above the cutout 19 and below the break 24, which projects into the cutout 19. The tab section 30 further increases the stability of the front support part 5.
[0088] The rear support section 7 has a cutout 19 in the rear wall 8 to provide the aforementioned recess 18. The cutout 19 is formed by two opposing side edges 20. A connecting tab 10 projects from each of the side edges 20 at a right angle to the support wall 6. A connecting tab 10 is arranged on each of the lower side edges 21, which extend from the end of the side edge 20 at the lower end of the rear support section 7 to the support 2, and which projects at a right angle to the rear wall 6. In the installed position, the lower side edge 21 extends essentially horizontally. The connecting tabs 10 have a length normal to the support wall 6. The length of the connecting tabs 10 projecting from the side edge 20 is equal to the length of the connecting tabs 10 projecting from the side edge 21.
[0089] The upper surface of the rear support section 7 encompasses the lower web 34. The lower web 34 extends from an upper side edge 26 at a substantially right angle. In the installed position, the side edge 26 extends from one support 2 to the other support 2. The lower web 34 reinforces the rear support section 7 and has further openings 29 for attaching sanitary fittings, pipes, or other elements. The lower web 34 is welded to the supports 2 laterally.
[0090] The lower web 34 of the rear support part 7 is located at a distance from the upper web 36 of the front support part 5. This distance creates a construction space 25.
[0091] In both support parts 5, 7, the connecting tabs 9, 10 extend essentially over the entire length of the side edges 20, 21.
[0092] In the connected state, the connecting tabs 10 of the rear support part 7 strike the inner surface 17 of the front support part 5 facing the rear support part 7, thus defining the distance between the front support part 5 and the rear support part 7.
[0093] In the illustrated embodiment, the connecting tabs 9 of the front support part 5 are shorter in the area of the lower side edge 21 than the corresponding connecting tabs 10 of the rear support part 7. This is due to the Figure 7 evident. This shortened design offers the advantage that a weld point, in particular a weld seam, can be formed at the end face 12 of the connecting tab 9 and the surface 13 of the connecting tab 10. The weld point is located in the Figure 7as shown by reference numeral 11. The other connecting tabs 9, 10, which are located to the left and right of the cutout 19, are of the same length on both support parts.
[0094] In their connected state, the support wall 6, the back wall 8, the connecting tabs 9, 10, and the supports 2 define a hollow body 14 with a cavity 15. In other words, the crossbeam element 3 has a cavity 15. The weld point 11 is preferably located outside the cavity 15.
