Description
[0001] The invention relates to a firewood cleaning device, consisting of a table-like frame which receives a grid sieve via a support, a hopper which can be connected to the grid sieve and is arranged above the grid sieve, and a mulching hopper located below the grid sieve and consisting of several guide devices according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] A firewood cleaning device is previously known from EP 3 056 327. The firewood cleaning device therein is part of a device for firewood processing, which comprises a saw, a splitting chute, and a splitting wedge.
[0003] A vibrating screen is designed to separate impurities such as bark, sawdust and / or debris from pieces of split wood to produce clean firewood.
[0004] Furthermore, according to the prior art, means are provided to set the vibrating screen into oscillating movements.
[0005] The known firewood cleaning device has the disadvantage that it is part of a complex wood processing system and therefore cannot be used separately. Furthermore, the known device requires that the bulk material, in the form of logs, already have defined dimensions, otherwise the cleaning process would be blocked.
[0006] Furthermore, in the known device, the loose wood is distributed irregularly and in such a way that the cleaning process of the loose material is inadequate.
[0007] DE 20 2018 103 750 U1 discloses a generic firewood cleaning device using a screening device. The device is designed to clean logs and remove impurities, particularly loose wood or bark. For this purpose, a tilted screening frame with a top surface for heaping up a pile of logs is provided. A sliding plate, for example, for bark—the components to be separated from the logs—is located below the screening frame via a swivel joint. A baffle strip located above the screening frame features anti-slip protection and a corresponding slot.
[0008] Based on the above, it is therefore an object of the invention to provide an advanced firewood cleaning device consisting of a table-like frame that holds a grid screen via a support, wherein the grid screen is connected to a vibration-generating device and furthermore has a hopper that can be connected to the grid screen and is arranged above the grid screen. The firewood cleaning device to be created should enable the bulk material or logs to be gradually distributed over the grid screen or grate, resulting in a good cleaning effect. Furthermore, it should be ensured that the separated components, for example bark or mulch, can be collected almost completely and put to appropriate use. Furthermore, the cleaning device should be easily adaptable to bulk materials with different properties.
[0009] The object of the invention is achieved by a firewood cleaning device according to the combination of features according to claim 1, wherein the subclaims comprise expedient embodiments and further developments.
[0010] It is therefore assumed that there is a firewood cleaning device which consists of a table-like frame which holds a grid sieve or grid grate via a support.
[0011] The grid screen or grid is connected to a vibration generating device and is thus set into vibrating movements.
[0012] A hopper can be connected to the grid screen and is arranged above the grid screen.
[0013] Below the grid sieve there are several guide devices that form a mulching funnel.
[0014] The grid screen is pivotally mounted around a rotation axis to specify different grid inclination or angle of repose, with means for vibration decoupling or vibration damping being formed between the grid screen and the table-like frame both in the area of the rotation axis and in the area of the support.
[0015] Starting from the hopper, a curtain of material is formed that extends across the grid screen.
[0016] This curtain prevents the bulk material, especially logs, from spreading too quickly across the entire screen. This ensures the desired minimum dwell time of the bulk material on the grate, which significantly improves cleaning results.
[0017] According to the invention, the grid screen consists of a plurality of spaced, parallel bars or tubes oriented in the direction of pouring, which additionally comprise cams or blocks for controlling the movement of picked-up pieces of wood, i.e. the bulk material.
[0018] In a further development of the invention, a telescopic height adjustment is provided on the support opposite the rotation axis. This height adjustment and the pivotable mounting of the grid screen allow for a wide range of adjustments of the grid inclination angle or the angle of repose.
[0019] As a vibration generating device, a vibration motor, in particular an electric vibration motor, is arranged below the grid screen and connected to it.
[0020] The table-like frame consists of a four-legged frame, with the aforementioned pivot axis located between two front frame legs and the two rear frame legs designed as a height-adjustable telescope. The frame is constructed as a profile structure and is designed to accommodate a forklift for transport.
[0021] In a further development of the invention, the hopper together with the hopper curtain is designed to be foldable away from the grid sieve.
[0022] The table-like frame has a free space below the mesh screen to accommodate one or more mulch collection containers.
[0023] At the end of the hopper opposite the hopper, a preferably angle-adjustable discharge plate is provided.
[0024] This angle-adjustable discharge plate, which essentially extends the mesh screen, supports the distribution of the logs. After passing through the mesh screen and the discharge plate, the cleaned bulk material can fall into a trailer or similar device positioned below and be transported away.
[0025] In a further development of the invention, the hopper exceeds the clear width of the grid screen in its width dimensions and has corresponding typical, funnel-like inclined surfaces in order to safely collect the bulk material and guide it onto the grid screen.
[0026] An anti-tilt device, particularly in the form of a plate-shaped anti-tilt support, can be formed on each of the lower frame feet.
[0027] The means for vibration damping between the grid screen and the frame is preferably implemented as an elastic hollow buffer, in particular a rubber hollow buffer.
[0028] In a further development of the invention, a cylindrical or hollow cylindrical block is provided as a means for vibration decoupling, which is mounted in the region of the axis of rotation in a complementary recess of a tab-like extension on the grid screen.
[0029] The invention will be explained in more detail below using an embodiment and with the aid of figures.
[0030] Here we show: Fig. 1a side view of an inlet width, complete firewood cleaning device; Fig. 2a front view of the cleaning device according to Fig. 1; Fig. 3 a part of the frame with a front frame foot, which has a tilt support, and a rear frame foot with a telescopic extension and recognizable hollow rubber buffers as preferred means for vibration decoupling; Fig. 4 a detail of a side view of the firewood cleaning device with two different grid screen inclination angles or angles of repose, realized by the pivotable mounting of the grid screen about a rotation axis in conjunction with the telescopic adjustment on the respective rear frame foot; Fig. 5 a top view of the grid screen with hopper and curtain (detail view without table-like frame); and Fig. 6 a bottom view of the representation according to Fig. 5with the tab-like extension on the grid screen together with a recess for receiving a cylindrical or hollow cylindrical block as a vibration decoupling means together with the vibration motor arranged on the underside of the grid screen as a vibration generating device.
[0031] Both Figures 1 and 2 the table-like frame 1 can be seen in side and front view, whereby the table-like frame 1 accommodates a grid sieve or pouring sieve 2.
[0032] In the embodiment shown here, the grid screen consists of a plurality of spaced, parallel bars or tubes 11 oriented in the pouring direction, which additionally (as in the Fig. 5 visible) have cams or blocks which are used to control the movement of loose wood not shown in the figures.
[0033] A vibration motor is arranged on the underside of the grid screen 2 as a vibration generating device 3.
[0034] The hopper 4 is dimensioned so that it can hold a defined amount of bulk material, whereby the bulk material curtain 10 prevents the added bulk material from being distributed immediately and too quickly over the entire grid screen 2.
[0035] The bulk material curtain 10 is movable in such a way that advancing bulk material located in the hopper 4 allows already existing bulk material quantities to pass through, namely into the area of the grid screen 2 with the aforementioned cams or blocks 12.
[0036] The grid sieve 2 has, as shown in the illustration Figure 1 As can be seen, at its lowest point, i.e. at its front edge, it has a preferably angle-adjustable drain plate which is able to allow the cleaned logs to slide into a container or hanger located underneath (not shown).
[0037] Several guide devices 5 form a mulching funnel which is able to guide falling wood, bark and the like penetrating through the grid sieve 2 into the mulch collection container 16.
[0038] The telescopic height adjustment 9 provided on the rear frame feet 15, in conjunction with the rotation axis 6, enables easy adjustment of the grid inclination or angle of repose at any time, depending on the type of bulk material fed in and the desired residence time of the bulk material on the grid screen 2.
[0039] The Figure 3 shows a part of the frame with front frame foot 14 and rear frame foot 15.
[0040] The rear frame leg 15 features the aforementioned height-adjustable telescope. A complementary profile is slidably mounted in a corresponding hollow profile of the rear frame leg. The corresponding height adjustment can be secured by a locking pin 21, which engages in corresponding recesses 22.
[0041] For vibration decoupling, means for vibration decoupling 8, in particular designed as a cylindrical or hollow cylindrical block, are provided on both the front frame foot 14 and the rear frame foot 15 at the upper end.
[0042] Referring to the Figures 5 and 6 The hollow cylindrical block, as a means for vibration decoupling 8 of the front frame foot 14, is inserted into the recess 20 of a bottle-like extension 19 on the frame of the grid screen 2. This forms the axis of rotation on the one hand and ensures the necessary vibration decoupling on the other.
[0043] The rear support 7 on the rear frame foot 15 is a loose bearing. The frame of the screen 2 rests here only to avoid obstructing the adjustment of the screen inclination or angle of repose.
[0044] The front frame foot 14, the rear frame foot 15 and the related connections, in particular as shown in Figure 3 form the frame 13.
[0045] In the example shown, the front frame foot 14 is Figure 3 a tipping protection device in the form of a tipping support 18.
[0046] Where necessary, the guide devices for the mulching funnel 5 are pivotably mounted to ensure that mulch is diverted into the mulch collection container 16 at any position of the angle of repose. List of reference symbols
