Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a drafting system of a spinning machine with a compressor, wherein the compressor is arranged between a delivery cylinder and an output pressure roller, wherein the compressor has a tapered first compressor channel oriented towards a delivery pressure roller of the drafting system.
[0002] It is currently state of the art to install compression zones for the fiber sliver downstream of the drafting systems of ring spinning machines in order to increase the strength of the yarn to be spun and to reduce its hairiness. A relatively simple compression zone is created, for example, by placing a delivery pressure roller downstream of the drafting system's output pressure roller, with both pressure rollers supported on the delivery cylinder and between the
[0003] A compressor is arranged between the output pressure roller and the delivery pressure roller, which is usually pressed against the delivery cylinder by a magnet or spring force. This compressor compresses the fiber sliver emerging from the drafting system in the desired manner. For the compressor to fulfill its task, it must be optimally positioned axially and radially between the output pressure roller and the delivery pressure roller. Ensuring this positioning is a challenge for every drafting system known in the state of the art.
[0004] EP 3 124 660 A1 discloses a compactor unit for a drafting system of a textile machine, wherein the compactor unit has at least one guide with a holder, in which the holder rests against a drafting system roller. The holder is connected to a receiving element. The compactor unit can be displaced in the axial direction with the holder or with a traversing device so that the compactor components can be precisely guided and the load on a fiber sliver on a drafting system roller can be better distributed. Here, the axial displacement occurs under a control and not automatically, as determined by the moving fiber sliver.
[0005] In WO 03 / 095723, DE 10 2007 024 234 A1 and DE 906 059 the compressor units used each have a predetermined axial position which is not adjustable.
[0006] It is an object of the invention to propose a drafting system of a spinning machine with a compressor, with which the disadvantages known from the prior art, namely the lack of possibility of axial self-adjustment, can be avoided or at least greatly reduced.
[0007] The problem is solved with a drafting system according to the enclosed patent claims.
[0008] This design and arrangement of the compressor according to the invention has many advantages. The use of the compressor according to the invention significantly improves the yarn properties, as will be apparent from the following. A drawn fiber sliver running through the second compressor channel during the operation of the drafting system is already slightly pre-compressed by this. The second compressor channel acts like a tunnel between the cage aprons of the drafting system and the nip point of the output pressure roller. This is intended to prevent as few fibers as possible from being lost along this path. The second compressor channel, which acts as a pre-compressor, guarantees that the drawn fiber sliver enters the compressor in direct alignment, since the fiber sliver determines the position of the compressor, which has axial play, through its initial contact with the second compressor channel, and not the other way around, as in the prior art, where the axially fixed compressor forces the fiber sliver. The fiber sliver entering the compressor can influence the horizontal position of the compressor, which rests freely on the lower cylinder or is advantageously held solely by magnets and the output pressure roller and delivery pressure roller. Because both the second and first compressor channels belong to one and the same compressor and are aligned with one another, the first compressor may also be moved along with the second compressor. The drawn fiber sliver is therefore advantageously always guided directly to and into the first compressor channel by the orientation provided by the second compressor channel. This is where the actual compaction process takes place—i.e., the gathering of the fibers and the elimination of the spinning triangle. The compactor is usually located on the cover of the delivery roller, which ensures a minimum possible distance from the compactor outlet, which corresponds to the rear end of the first compactor channel in the direction of travel, to the clamping point of the delivery roller, so that the compaction cannot dissolve again or only very slightly and thus the desired yarn values (especially hairiness and strength) remain constant and yarn breakages can be minimized.
[0009] The invention is particularly important for processing long staple fibers, e.g., wool. Wool fibers are stiffer than cotton. Therefore, in prior art devices, they tend to bypass the first compressor channel rather than pass through it. This circumstance is counteracted by the floating arrangement of the compressor according to the invention and the connection of the second compressor channel to the first compressor channel. The comparatively very long long staple fiber usually forms a relatively wide roving. The spinning triangle is therefore correspondingly pronounced. The design of the compressor according to the invention ensures that as many fibers as possible enter the compressor, as described above.
[0010] The compressor according to the invention can be designed symmetrically or asymmetrically.
[0011] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the compressor is characterized in that the second compressor channel has a larger cross-section than the first compressor channel. This has the advantage that the drawn fiber sliver, which is still somewhat bulkier upon entering the second compressor channel, is initially only slightly pre-compressed, which can positively influence the horizontal position of the compressor according to the invention and thus of the first compressor channel, as described above.
[0012] In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the compressor is characterized in that both compressor channels taper in the direction of travel of the drawn fiber sliver. Not only does the first compressor channel taper, as usual, to the optimal size up to the tip of the spinning triangle. The second compressor channel also tapers to gently pre-compact the drawn fiber sliver.
[0013] In yet another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the compactor is characterized in that it has a head adjoining a neck extending between the top roller and the delivery roller, which extends so far toward the running surface of the output pressure roller and the delivery pressure roller that its extension is wider than the gap between the output pressure roller and the delivery pressure roller. When the pressure arm of the drafting system is opened and raised, the compactor is held on the pressure arm due to the different size ratio.
[0014] In another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the compressor is characterized in that it has at least one magnet mounted therein, preferably detachably. This design advantageously contributes to a more secure and better balanced positioning of the compressor on the delivery cylinder.
[0015] In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the compressor is characterized by being made of wear-resistant, moldable plastic. This inventive design and arrangement of the compressor has many advantages. An elastic securing element is proposed, which can be made of relatively inexpensive, moldable plastic, into which magnets can be releasably snapped or glued.
[0016] In yet another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the compressor is characterized in that it has a device for attaching colored markers. These markers can be pins or plugs or the like in different colors, which are clipped into devices such as cavities of the compressor, for example, with the effect that it is already recognizable from a distance which compressor is equipped for which lower cylinder diameter and with which size of the first compressor channel, etc.
[0017] When installing the compressor between the output pressure roller and the delivery pressure roller, it is elegantly "clicked" between the two rollers in one hand movement.
[0018] To facilitate understanding of the invention and to show how it can be carried out, it is briefly explained below using exemplary embodiments with the aid of a drawing. Fig. 1ashows, in a highly schematic manner, essential parts of an exemplary drafting system with an embodiment of a first compressor according to the invention in situ in a partial sectional view as well as a sectional view II - II of the compressor. Fig. 1b shows, in a highly schematic manner, essential parts of an exemplary drafting system with an embodiment of a second compressor according to the invention in situ in a partial sectional view. Fig. 2a shows schematically a perspective view of an embodiment of a compressor according to the invention, arranged between the output pressure roller and the delivery pressure roller as well as the delivery cylinder of an exemplary drafting system. Fig. 2b shows schematically the arrangement of the compressor according to Fig. 2a in the direction of arrow P. Fig. 3a to 3i schematically show nine different views of an embodiment of a compressor according to the invention. Fig. 4a to 4cshow schematically three views of a further embodiment of a compressor according to the invention from below, from the side and from above.
[0019] Note: In the following description, identical or analogous parts of different compressors are given the same reference symbols.
[0020] Fig. 1ashows essential parts of an exemplary drafting system S for a ring spinning machine with a compression zone 6 formed between an output pressure roller 1 of the drafting system S and a delivery pressure roller 2 arranged downstream of the latter. Both pressure rollers 1 and 2 are supported on a delivery cylinder 3 and accommodate a compressor 4 between them, which is pressed against the delivery cylinder 3 and held there, for example by means of a magnet 18 (not shown). The compressor 4 has the task of compressing the fiber sliver F emerging from the drafting system in a manner known to those skilled in the art. In order to perform its task as effectively as possible, the compressor 4 must be optimally positioned axially and radially between the pressure rollers 1 and 2. The completely drawn and compressed fiber sliver VF is delivered to the spinning process between the delivery pressure roller 2 and the delivery cylinder 3.The compressor 4, which will be described in more detail later, rests with its underside 7 flat on the delivery cylinder 3 and leans against the delivery pressure roller 2 with support surfaces 9 arranged on its front side.
[0021] In the lower part of the Fig. 1a is a representation of the compressor 4 along the section line II - II of the upper illustration in Fig. 1a Here, the compressor channels, first compressor channel 8 and second compressor channel 10, which are arranged symmetrically in this embodiment and taper in the conveying direction of the fiber sliver F, can be seen.
[0022] Fig. 1b shows one of the Fig. 1a similar configuration in which the essential parts have the same reference numerals as in Fig. 1a .
[0023] The following further description concerns the Fig. 1a and 1b equally.
[0024] There is a narrow gap or space Z between the output pressure roller 1 and the top 11 of the compressor 4. The Fig. 1a and 1b in the middle of its compressor channels and shown in section, has a first compressor channel 8 in the area of the compression zone 6 and a second compressor channel 10 in its rear wall 12 (e.g. Fig. 3d ). The fiber band F runs in Fig. 1a from top right to bottom left (in Fig. 1bfrom right to left) through the drafting system (not described in detail) and is guided between aprons 5 to the gusset between the output pressure roller 1 and the delivery cylinder 3. Before the gusset, the sliver passes the rear wall 12 of the compressor 4 and enters the second compressor channel 10. As it passes through the second compressor channel 10, the sliver F can, according to the invention, laterally displace the compressor 4, which rests "floating" on the delivery cylinder 3, or orient it according to its path of movement. The sliver F then passes the clamp between the output pressure roller 1 and the delivery cylinder 3, and then enters the first compressor channel 8, which is oriented towards the nip line between the delivery cylinder 3 and the delivery pressure roller 2, where it is finally compressed and, through the nip line, is fed to the spinning process as a compressed sliver VF.
[0025] Fig. 2ashows an arrangement of a compressor 4 according to the invention, arranged between the output pressure roller 1, the delivery pressure roller 2 and the delivery cylinder 3 of an exemplary drafting system S. The person skilled in the art will easily recognize the position and arrangement of the compressor 4.
[0026] Fig. 2b shows the arrangement of the compressor according to Fig. 2a in the direction of arrow P. It is clearly visible that the output pressure roller 1 slightly "immerses" into the interior 15 of the compressor 4. It penetrates the interior 15 of the compressor 4.
[0027] Finally, the Fig. 3a to 3i schematically nine different views of an embodiment of a compressor according to the invention.
[0028] Fig. 3ashows an embodiment of the compressor 4 according to the invention from below, i.e. - in the installed position - viewed from the delivery cylinder 3. The front wall 13, the right 19 and left 17 side walls, as well as the rear wall 12 enclose an interior space 15, which, as previously explained, is penetrated by the output pressure roller 1, which is in contact with the delivery cylinder 3. In the embodiment shown here, the rear wall 12 is perforated by the second compressor channel 10. However, the perforation could just as easily be bridged via a portal (not shown here) - this would still result in a second compressor channel - so that the rear wall 12 would not be interrupted. The two compressor channels 8 and 10, which taper in the conveying direction of the fiber sliver F, are clearly visible here. Fig. 3a , towards the left side of the drawing, extends a head 16 of the compressor 4, which sits on a neck 14.
[0029] In Fig. 3bThe compressor 4 is shown in the view from the top left rear. Fig. 3c shows him from the front. In Fig. 3d The compressor is shown diagonally from the rear left below. The rounded bottom surface 7, with which the compressor 4 rests on the delivery cylinder 3 during use, is clearly visible. Fig. 3e the compressor 4 from above. As shown, the head 16 is advantageously suitable for applying a designation typical for the respective compressor. Fig. 3f shows the compressor 4 diagonally from the front left bottom. Clearly visible here is a left outwardly curved reinforcement rib 21. In Fig. 3g Compressor 4 can be seen from behind. The two aligned compressor channels 8 and 10 are clearly visible. Fig. 3h shows compressor 4 from the top left front view. Finally, Fig. 3ithe compressor 4 from the left, wherein an approximately triangular fastening device 20 is provided in the head 16, to which, for example, colored markings 22 can be applied, by means of which a typification of the compressor 4 such as lower cylinder diameter and / or size of the first compressor channel, etc., can be indicated.
[0030] Fig. 4a shows another embodiment of a compressor 4 according to the invention from below. All previously described elements bear the same reference numerals. Of particular note here are the rounded portions 24 at the corners of the rear wall 12, which can facilitate the attachment of the compressor 4 during assembly. In this embodiment, the head 16 is also designed differently than in the previously described versions. Fig. 4b shows compressor 4 of Fig. 4afrom the left. Colored markers designed as round plugs, caps, or pins, for example, are inserted into the round head 16, the purpose of which has already been discussed. From the illustration according to Fig. 4c , which shows a view of the compressor 4 from above, the arrangement of the two compressor channels 8 and 10 can be seen. Based on the representation of the compressor 4 according to Fig. 4b (combined with Fig. 1 , Fig. 3i and Fig. 2a ) and its head 16, which sits on the slender neck 14, it is easy to understand that the compressor 4, when installed, is lifted when the pressure arm of the drafting system is lifted and cannot get lost.
