Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a connecting profile for components adjacent to plaster, in particular for window or door frames, comprising a two-part base leg, the inner leg of which has component-side fastening means and is connected to an outer leg aligned parallel to the inner leg, wherein the outer leg has a plastering leg projecting substantially perpendicularly thereto, as well as a plastering bead with a plastering edge. An elastic sealing strip is arranged between the inner leg and the outer leg, which is suitable for at least partially compensating for component movements between the plaster and the component, wherein the inner leg, which is fixed to the component with an adhesive layer or an adhesive tape, has a sealing lip resting against the component.
[0002] In this context, EP 2 093 368 B1 discloses a connection profile for components adjacent to plaster. This connection profile has a sealing leg that is attached to the component with an adhesive layer and an intermediate sealing tape. The sealing tape and adhesive can be designed, for example, as double-sided adhesive tape. The sealing leg further has a plaster bead extending from the sealing leg and projecting diagonally towards the component. This bead, together with a plastering web projecting essentially perpendicularly from the sealing leg, forms a plaster receiving space. A detachable protective tab, to which a protective film can be attached, is formed on the front edge of the plaster bead over a material constriction. When the connecting profile is installed, the sealing leg and the sealing strip form a rectangular, enclosed receiving space in which an expanding foam element is arranged in its compressed form. The sealing strip is attached to the sealing leg with an adhesive whose holding force is adjusted relative to that of the component-side adhesive in such a way that, in the event of a tensile or shearing movement, the sealing strip detaches from the sealing leg, releasing the expanding, elastic foam element.
[0003] EP 2 116 682 A2 describes a connection profile comprising a sealing leg that is attached directly to the component (e.g., a window frame) with an elastic sealing strip. Furthermore, a plastering leg is provided that forms an angle of approximately 90° with the sealing leg. This is a reveal connection profile, preferably used for connecting thermally insulated facades, which rests against the sealing leg and the plastering leg. The plastering leg has a plastering bead that is slightly inclined toward the component and at least partially covers the front edge of the elastic sealing strip. The sealing leg has a receptacle for a folding element, closed by the elastic sealing strip. Upon a relative movement that increases the gap between the plaster and the component, the elastic sealing strip detaches from the sealing leg, the folding element unfolds, and continues to seal the gap between the plaster and the component. In a variant according to . Fig. 8 According to EP 2 116 682 A2, a sealing lip is arranged on the plastering leg of the connecting profile. When installed, this sealing lip bridges the elastic sealing strip and seals the gap to the component. To ensure reliable sealing during relative movement between the plaster and the component, the sealing lip must be equipped with increased pre-tension.
[0004] EP 1 479 848 B1 discloses a reveal connection profile whose base profile is constructed in two parts, with the leg that can be attached to the component being fastened to an outer leg by means of a flexible tab. The inner leg, which can be attached to the component by means of a flexible sealing strip, has sealing lips on both sides of the flexible sealing strip, which is intended to compensate for component movements, which cover the gap to the component. Here, too, sealing lips with increased preload must be used in order to achieve the desired sealing effect in the event of relative movements. However, the increased preload of the sealing lips can cause difficulties when installing the connection profiles, particularly if the plastering work is to be carried out some time later.
[0005] EP 3 130 722 A1 discloses a plastic strip that can be placed at the transition between a first and a second building section for sealing purposes. The plastic strip has a receiving area for an expandable sealing tape, which is initially closed by a detachable connecting area, but can be opened after a protective tab is removed to allow the sealing tape to expand. In this state, the plastic strip has a two-part base leg with an inner leg that can be attached to the component using adhesive tape, and an outer leg aligned parallel to the inner leg with a plastering leg projecting essentially perpendicular to the inner leg. Furthermore, a sealing lip that rests against the building section is provided on the inner leg.
[0006] From WO 2010 / 099933 A1, in particular its embodiment in Figs. 32 and 32a, a profile strip with a joint seal between two components is known. The profile strip has a two-part base leg, the inner leg of which can be attached to the component using a foam adhesive tape and is connected to an outer leg aligned parallel to the inner leg by means of an elastic sealing loop. The inner leg is initially glued to the outer leg, whereby the adhesive layer releases upon component movement, and the sealing of the resulting gap is ensured by the unfolding sealing loop. A further embodiment of WO 2010 / 099933 A1 (see Fig. 12) shows the arrangement of a sealing strip between the inner leg and the outer leg, which is suitable for compensating component movements between different components.
[0007] Finally, EP 2 273 037 A2 shows a connecting profile strip whose profile body is enclosed on the component side by a section made of a soft plastic material with a U-shaped cross-section. The U-shaped section consists of two side legs and a cross leg connecting them, with the profile body of the profile strip being inserted into the U-shaped section. The cross leg of the U-shaped section has a flexible element that rests against the profile body and, on the component side, a foam adhesive tape with an adhesive layer for securing it to the component. At least one edge section, in which the cross leg and the side leg of the U-shaped section, which is on the outside in the assembled position, converge, forms an edge that lies in or beyond the plane of the adhesive layer located below the cross leg.
[0008] The object of the invention is to improve a connecting profile for components adjacent to plaster and their manufacture in such a way that both the manufacture and the assembly are simplified, whereby a permanent, tight seal between the plaster and the built-in component is to be ensured even when relative movements occur.
[0009] According to the invention, this is achieved in a connection profile as described above by arranging a sealing flange on the inner leg, protruding from the component, the end region of which slides and seals against parts of the outer leg, the plastering leg, and / or the plastering bead. Furthermore, the sealing lip and the sealing flange are manufactured as a single-piece extrudate and are attached to the inner leg by co-extrusion. The inner leg, which is fixed to the component by a thin layer of adhesive or by double-sided adhesive tape, does not move relative to the component, so that the sealing lip can be manufactured with only a slight overhang beyond the component-side adhesive tape and exhibits virtually no disruptive prestress during assembly. This has the advantage that the connection strip can be easily glued to the built-in component even a few days before the plastering work, without there being a risk that the connection profile will be detached from the component on one side or over its entire surface due to the pre-tensioning force of the sealing lip.
[0010] In order to better seal a gap that develops in the event of larger relative movements between the component and the plaster, the sealing flange protruding from the component is arranged on the inner leg, the free end area of which slides and seals against parts of the outer leg, the plastering leg and / or the plastering strip.
[0011] An advantageous embodiment provides that a substantially U-shaped receptacle is formed in the plastering leg or in the plastering strip, running in the longitudinal direction of the profile, in which the end region of the sealing flange is slidably guided.
[0012] The invention is explained in more detail below using exemplary embodiments. They show: Fig. 1a shows a connecting profile according to the invention for components adjacent to plaster in a sectional view normal to the profile longitudinal axis in the installation situation after completed plastering work; Fig. 1b shows the connecting profile according to Fig. 1a after a component movement between the plaster and the adjacent component; Fig. 1c the connection profile according to Fig. 1a in a three-dimensional view; Fig. 2a a variant of the connection profile according to the invention in a sectional view according to Fig. 1a ; Fig. 2b the connection profile according to Fig. 2a in a three-dimensional view; Fig. 3 to Fig. 10 further embodiments of the connection profile according to the invention each in a sectional view according to Fig. 1a ; and Fig. 11a, Fig. 11b show further advantageous aspects of the connecting profile according to the invention.
[0013] The Fig. 1a bis Fig. 1c The connecting profile 10 shown for components 30 adjacent to plaster 31 has a two-part base or sealing leg, namely an inner leg 11 fixed in position to the component 30 by means of a thin adhesive tape 17 and an outer leg 12 aligned parallel to it. Between the inner leg 11 and the outer leg 12 there is arranged an elastic sealing strip 16 which is thicker than the adhesive tape 17 and can at least partially compensate for component movements between the plaster 31 and the component 30. The outer leg 12 has a plastering leg 13 projecting essentially perpendicularly therefrom, as well as a plastering bead 14 with a front plastering edge 15. In the example shown, the plaster 31 consists of a base layer of plaster or a filler compound which can be pulled off at a projection 33 on the plastering bead 14.The inner leg 11, which is fixed to the component 30 by means of adhesive tape 17, has a relatively short sealing lip 20, which can rest against the component 30 without significant prestress, since in this area no relative movements between the plaster layer 31 and the component 30, for example a door or window frame, need to be compensated.
[0014] If, over the years, major component movements occur that can no longer be compensated for by the elastic sealing tape 16, the adhesive connection between the sealing tape 16 and the outer leg 12 opens (see Fig. 1b ). Of particular advantage is then a sealing flange 22 arranged in the front area of the inner leg 11, the free end area 23 of which lies slidingly and sealingly against parts of the outer leg 12, the plastering leg 13 and / or the plastering strip 14 and continues to cover the opening gap between the inner leg 11 and the outer leg 12.
[0015] In the present embodiment, the sealing flange 22, or at least its end region 23, is guided in a sliding and sealing manner in a substantially U-shaped receptacle 18 in the plastering strip 14, which is inclined obliquely towards the component 30. The U-shaped receptacle 18 can also be formed in a stepped section of the plastering leg 13 and be aligned perpendicularly to the component 30 (see, for example, Fig. 3 und Fig. 4 ).
[0016] For easy production in an extrusion line of the connecting profile, the sealing lip 20 and the sealing flange 22 can be produced as a one-piece extrudate 21 and fastened to the inner leg 11, for example by means of co-extrusion. The extrudate 21 is preferably fastened in such a way that a foot web 24 is extruded onto the inner leg 11, from which the sealing lip 20 protrudes in the direction of the component 30 on the one hand and the sealing flange 22 protrudes away from the component 30 on the other hand. The foot web 24 can preferably be attached to the front, plaster-side end of the inner leg 11 or to its front narrow side (see, for example, Fig. 3, Fig. 4 or Fig. 7 ) extruded.
[0017] In order to ensure better sealing even with larger component movements, the variant according to Fig. 2a, Fig. 2b In the entrance area of the essentially U-shaped receptacle 18 for the sealing flange 22, an elastic support element 19 is arranged, which slides against the sealing flange 22 (see also Fig. 4 ).
[0018] The design variant according to Fig. 3 is characterized by additional measures with which an opening gap between component 30 and plaster can be sealed. The sealing lip 20, which projects toward component 30, has, on its side facing away from the component, a groove-shaped receptacle 26 extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile, which slidably accommodates a sealing web 27 protruding from the plaster bead 14.
[0019] At the Fig. 5 In the embodiment variant according to the invention shown, the extrudate 21 consisting of the sealing lip 20 and the sealing flange 22 is extruded via a first foot web 24 on the inclined narrow side of the inner leg 11 and via a second foot web 24' on the upper side of the inner leg 11.
[0020] In Fig. 7 a variant is shown in which the extrudate 21 consisting of sealing lip 20 and sealing flange 21 has a support web 34 sealingly adjacent to the inlet of the U-shaped receptacle 18.
[0021] With the Fig. 8 In the illustrated embodiment, even a larger relative movement between the component and the plaster can be compensated, since the sealing flange 22 has a flexible tab or a flexible area 25 with which the end area 23 of the sealing flange 22 is attached to the base web 24. In the illustrated installation situation, the flexible area 25 is folded and can unfold accordingly in the event of component movement.
[0022] In the version according to Fig. 9 The two sealing elements—sealing lip 20 and sealing flange 22—are attached as separate extrudates to the inner leg 11. A further sealing element is an expandable sealing loop 35, which is attached to the component-side end of the plaster strip 14, starting from the rear of the sealing lip 20.
[0023] Fig. 10 shows a simple, compact design variant of the connecting profile 10, in which the extrudate 21 consisting of the sealing lip 20 and the sealing flange 22 is attached to the front (plaster-side) narrow side of the inner leg 11. The sealing flange 22 slides against the inside of the plaster bead 14 and the underside of the outer leg 12 and is pressed sealingly against the plaster bead 14 by an elastic support element 36, which is arranged on the underside of the outer leg 12. A further sealing element is an expandable sealing loop 35, which is attached to the inner leg 11 starting from the underside of the outer leg 12.
[0024] In all variants, a detachable protective leg 28 for accommodating a cover film (not shown) can be attached to the plastering edge 15 of the plastering bead 14. Furthermore, a reinforcing mesh 32 can be attached to the plastering leg 13, preferably using a co-extruded retaining strip 29.
[0025] A further advantage of the connection profile 10 according to the invention is in the Fig. 11a und Fig. 11b Using a variant already described earlier (see Fig. 2a, Fig. 2b ), these advantages, which lead to an improved embedding of the plastering leg 13 in the filler compound of the plaster layer 31, are explained.
[0026] In the Fig. 11a und Fig. 11b1 shows a connecting profile 10 for a component 30 (e.g. window or door frame) adjacent to an insulation element 32 including plaster 31, said connecting profile comprising a base leg 11, 12 which has a fastening means 17 on the component side. The base leg 11, 12 (a one-piece base leg without sealing tape would also be possible) has a plastering leg 13 which projects essentially perpendicularly thereto and has wall openings 37. In its installed position, the plastering leg 13 is spaced from the insulation element 32, at least in the region of its wall openings 37, in such a way that a clearance area 38 is formed between the plastering leg 13 and the insulation element 32. The clearance area 38 is delimited at the top by a support web 39 of the plastering leg 13 which is directed towards the insulation board 32. As a result, a hollow chamber is formed behind the plastering leg 13 and the undercoat orthe filler compound can penetrate through the wall openings 37 of the plastering leg 13 into the hollow chamber formed by the clearance 38 and enclose the plastering leg 13 on both sides.
[0027] A further advantage is that the rear side of the base leg or the two legs 11 and 12 and the free end of the support web 39 lie in a common plane ε, which is perpendicular to the sealing plane (surface of component 30). During installation, the connecting profile 10 can advantageously be aligned directly with the insulation element 40 without having to make any cutouts or adjustments to the insulation element.
