Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of false walls, and more particularly backlit false walls.
[0002] The invention relates more particularly to a frame profile for producing a backlit false wall, having a tubular-shaped profile body comprising a peripheral wall, a first longitudinal cavity having an opening on the peripheral wall and comprising means for attaching at least one canvas, a second longitudinal cavity having an opening on the peripheral wall and housing light means.
[0003] The frame profile is intended in particular but not exclusively for the creation of a backlit three-dimensional structure in stretched canvas(es). STATE OF THE ART
[0004] As is known, wall eaves, particularly false ceilings, comprise one or more frames, generally made of metal, on which one or two flexible canvases with a certain elasticity are hung tautly. To achieve this, the canvases in question are provided with hanging means which can be attached to appropriate areas provided for this purpose on the frame profiles.
[0005] There are many configurations of frame profiles for the production of false walls incorporating lighting means. Among these, those described in patent applications RU 189 435 U1, RU 188 291 U1, RU 170 715 U1 are known. Also known is that of patent application EP2993280, disclosing the characteristics of the preamble of claim 1, which comprises two contiguous recesses separated by a tongue and intended to receive the means for hanging two stretched canvases and at least one notch for receiving a light source. The advantage of such a frame profile is that it allows the production of backlit three-dimensional structures of circular and / or curved shapes.
[0006] However, although this provides satisfactory backlighting, the frame profile of the above-mentioned application, like all frame profiles of the prior art, creates peripheral shadow areas.
[0007] The invention aims to remedy this problem by proposing a frame profile for the creation of a backlit false wall, optimally limiting the peripheral shadow created by any profile when the latter is used in a backlit context.
[0008] The invention also aims to propose a frame profile making it possible to produce backlit three-dimensional structures of circular and / or curved shapes. SUBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0009] To this end, and according to a first aspect, the invention proposes a frame profile for producing a backlit false wall according to claim 1, this profile having a tubular-shaped profile body comprising a peripheral wall, a first and a second longitudinal cavity respectively having an opening on the peripheral wall, said first cavity comprising means for attaching at least one canvas, said second cavity housing light means, the frame profile being remarkable in that said second cavity comprises a bottom wall bordered by two diverging cavity walls delimiting the opening of the second cavity.
[0010] Advantageously, each cavity wall is inclined relative to the bottom wall at an angle of inclination of between 110 degrees and 130 degrees.
[0011] Advantageously, the ratio between the height of the bottom wall and the height of the opening of the second cavity is between 0.4 and 0.5.
[0012] Advantageously, the ratio between the depth of the bottom wall and the height of the opening of the second cavity is between 0.3 and 0.4.
[0013] Advantageously, said second cavity has a trapezoidal shape.
[0014] Advantageously, the first and second cavities open onto the peripheral wall in a direction opposite to each other.
[0015] Advantageously, the peripheral wall defines a junction edge with the cavity walls.
[0016] According to the invention, the peripheral wall has two lateral faces, a flat upper face and a flat lower face, the opening of the second cavity (4) opening onto one of the lateral faces and being delimited by said upper and lower faces. This arrangement has the advantage of eliminating the residual shadow areas created by the profile when it is used in a backlit context. Advantageously, the other lateral face onto which the opening of the first cavity opens has a rounded shape.
[0017] The invention also relates to a backlit false wall comprising a frame comprising an arrangement of butted frame profiles and at least one flexible canvas attached to the frame by means of attachment means provided at the edge of said canvas, characterized in that each frame profile is as described previously and in that at least one frame profile comprises light means housed in the second longitudinal cavity.
[0018] Advantageously, the lighting means are mounted on the bottom wall of the second cavity.
[0019] Advantageously, the flexible canvas is translucent or transparent.
[0020] The advantage of a frame profile arranged in this way is that it provides optimal light diffusion while limiting peripheral shadows created by the profile when used in a backlit context. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
[0021] Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the detailed description of the invention which follows with reference to the appended figure and in which: There figure 1 represents a frame profile according to the invention for the production of a backlit false wall. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0022] In relation to the single figure, an example of a frame profile 1 is described, intended to constitute, with similar frame profiles, a frame on which one or two stretched flexible canvases can be fixed for the creation of a backlit false wall.
[0023] For ease of description, the frame profile 1 will be described with respect to its position shown in the figure.
[0024] The frame profile 1 comprises a tubular profile body having a peripheral wall 2 defining a first and a second lateral faces 20, 21 connected to each other by an upper face 22 and a lower face 23. In the embodiment shown, the upper and lower faces 22, 23 are substantially planar while the lateral face 20 is rounded. In the example illustrated, the radius of curvature of the lateral face 20 is identical to the width of the profile body itself identical to the height of the profile body.
[0025] The profile body comprises a first cavity 3 extending over the entire length of said body and having an opening on the first lateral face 20. Said first cavity 3, advantageously of parallelepipedal section, forms a cavity for hanging stretched canvas.
[0026] In the illustrated embodiment, it is arranged to allow the hanging of two stretched canvases. To do this, it comprises an internal wing 5 extending from the bottom of the first cavity 3 towards the opening of said cavity, so as to define within the first cavity 3 two symmetrical housings 30, 31 allowing the respective hanging of a canvas. The hanging of the canvases on the frame profile 1 is carried out by means of shoulders 6, 7, 8 advantageously arranged on each face of the internal wing 5 as well as on the internal faces of the upper and lower walls of the profile body. These shoulders 6, 7, 8 are arranged to allow the hanging of hooking means, of the harpoon type, arranged at the edge of the canvas.
[0027] The profile body comprises a second cavity 4 extending over the entire length of said body and having an opening 40 on the second lateral face 21. The first and second cavities 3, 4 thus open in an opposite direction to each other.
[0028] The second cavity 4 forms a cavity for receiving light means 9. It has a bottom wall 41 bordered by two diverging cavity walls 42, 43. The two cavity walls 42, 43 delimit, with the upper and lower faces 22, 23, the opening 40. The cavity walls 42, 43 thus define with the upper and lower faces 22, 23 two peripheral wings, of triangular section. In the illustrated embodiment, the second cavity 4 has a trapezoidal shape, advantageously isosceles. Advantageously, the cavity walls 42, 43 inclined relative to the bottom wall 41 at an angle of inclination αbetween 110 degrees and 130 degrees. Such an arrangement of the frame profile makes it possible to limit as much as possible the residual peripheral shadows created by the profile when used in a backlit context.
[0029] According to an advantageous configuration, the bottom wall 41 is located at a distance from the opening less than or equal to half the distance separating the ends of the upper and lower faces 22, 23 which delimit the opening 40. More generally, the second cavity 4 will be arranged to have a ratio between the height ( h 1 ) of the back wall 41 and the height ( h 2 ) of the opening 40 of the second cavity 4 between 0.4 and 0.5 ( h 2 corresponding to the distance separating the ends of the upper and lower faces 22, 23). Similarly, it will be advantageous to arrange the second cavity 4 so that the latter has a ratio between the depth ( p) of the back wall 41 and the height ( h 2 ) of the opening of the second cavity between 0.3 and 0.4. Such an arrangement of the frame profile thus makes it possible to obtain optimal diffusion of light while limiting the residual peripheral shadows created by the profile when used in a backlit context.
[0030] The invention is described in the foregoing by way of example. It is understood that those skilled in the art are able to carry out different variant embodiments of the invention without departing from the scope of the invention.
