Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a recessed luminaire for mounting in a wall or ceiling according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] A recessed luminaire of this type is known, for example, from EP 2 372 231 A1 and comprises a mounting bracket for attaching the recessed luminaire to the wall or ceiling, which bracket extends in a ring around a longitudinal central axis. Furthermore, such a recessed luminaire comprises a lamp holder to which an electrical lighting device for emitting light is attached.
[0003] For certain applications or lighting situations, it may be necessary for the main light propagation direction, in which the light generated by the lighting device is emitted when the recessed luminaire is in operation, to be inclined relative to a normal direction that is perpendicular to the wall or ceiling, for example in order to reduce glare or to specifically illuminate an object.
[0004] The present invention addresses the problem of providing an improved or at least a different embodiment for a recessed luminaire of the type described above, which is characterized by an easily manageable adjustment option for the main propagation direction of the light.
[0005] This problem is solved according to the invention by the subject matter of the independent claim. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
[0006] The invention is based on the general idea of coupling an adjusting ring that is rotatable relative to the mounting support to a driver ring attached to the lamp support via an inclined contact plane, such that the spatial position of the lamp support relative to the mounting support can be changed by rotating the adjusting ring. This eliminates the need to directly operate or grip the lamp support manually or with the aid of a tool in order to pivot or change the spatial position of the lamp support relative to the dismantling support. Instead, the adjusting ring can be rotated manually or using a suitable tool relative to the mounting support, whereby the desired change in the spatial position of the lamp support relative to the mounting support can be brought about by coupling with the driver ring. Thus, in the recessed luminaire according to the invention, the lamp holder is operated indirectly, namely via the adjusting ring and the driving ring. This is advantageous in several respects. Firstly, the adjusting ring is much easier to operate because it is located on the mounting support and is easily accessible. Furthermore, the risk of damage to any existing reflector or the lighting device is reduced if no tools have to be used inside the recessed luminaire. Furthermore, it is possible to attach the adjusting ring to the mounting support in such a way that it is always flush with the mounting support regardless of its rotational position. This means that the area of the recessed luminaire visible to the viewer (male / female / diverse), namely part of the mounting support and part of the adjusting ring, always create the same overall visual impression regardless of the spatial position of the lamp holder.Overall, this results in a high-quality appearance for the installed recessed luminaire.
[0007] In detail, the invention proposes that the recessed luminaire be equipped with an adjusting ring which is held on the mounting support so that it can rotate about the longitudinal central axis and is axially fixed and which has an axially front-face annular adjusting contour on an axial side facing the lamp support. Furthermore, the recessed luminaire is equipped with a driving ring which is held on the lamp support so that it can rotate about the longitudinal central axis and is axially fixed, which is supported on the mounting support so that it can rotate about the longitudinal central axis and which has an axially front-face annular driving contour on an axial side facing the mounting support. The adjusting ring and driving ring are now coordinated with one another such that the driving contour rests rotatably on the adjusting contour in a contact plane. It is essential to the invention that the contact plane is inclined at an angle to the longitudinal central axis that is less than 90°.In this way, the adjusting ring and the drive ring are coupled to each other via an inclined plane, namely the contact plane. Rotating the adjusting ring around the longitudinal center axis causes a change in the spatial position of the lamp carrier relative to the mounting support via the inclined contact plane.
[0008] A preferred embodiment is one in which the lighting device is configured such that the light emitted during operation has a main light propagation direction directed away from the lamp support. Furthermore, the recessed luminaire is now configured such that the inclination of the main light propagation direction relative to the longitudinal central axis can be adjusted by rotating the adjusting ring relative to the mounting support. When the recessed luminaire is mounted, its longitudinal central axis typically extends parallel to a normal direction of the respective wall or ceiling into which the recessed luminaire is installed. Thus, the main propagation direction of the light emitted by the lighting device can be changed or specifically adjusted by rotating the adjusting ring.
[0009] In the present context, a "configuration" is synonymous with a "design", so that the phrase "configured so that" is synonymous with the phrase "designed so that".
[0010] According to an advantageous development, the adjusting ring and the driver ring can be configured such that a neutral position can be set for the recessed luminaire, in which the main light propagation direction runs coaxially with the longitudinal central axis, and that by rotating the adjusting ring relative to the mounting support, starting from the neutral position, the inclination of the main light propagation direction increases. In other words, in the neutral position, the main light propagation direction has no inclination relative to the longitudinal central axis, but runs parallel and, in particular, coaxially with the longitudinal central axis. The inclination between the main light propagation direction and the longitudinal central axis only arises by rotating the adjusting ring relative to the mounting support.
[0011] A particularly advantageous development is one in which the adjusting ring and the driver ring are configured such that by rotating the adjusting ring relative to the mounting support in a first direction of rotation, starting from the neutral position, the inclination of the main light propagation direction increases in a first direction, while by rotating the adjusting ring relative to the mounting support in a second direction of rotation opposite to the first direction of rotation, starting from the neutral position, the inclination of the main light propagation direction increases in a second direction opposite to the first direction. In this case, the neutral position forms a kind of central position from which the inclination can be increased in two different or opposite directions.
[0012] A suitable embodiment is one in which two end stops are formed between the adjusting ring and the disassembly support, limiting the rotation of the adjusting ring relative to the assembly support to a predetermined angle of rotation. The predetermined angle of rotation can be greater than 90° or, preferably, greater than 120° and can, for example, be approximately 180°. It is clear that a range of rotation greater than 180° is also possible. Typically, the maximum angle of rotation will be 360°. However, for space reasons, a range of rotation less than 360° is preferred.
[0013] The neutral position can be conveniently assigned to a center of the rotation angle range, so that the inclination of the main light propagation direction in both directions of rotation or the two directions of inclination have maximum values of equal magnitude.
[0014] Alternatively, the neutral position can also be assigned to one of the two end stops of the rotation angle range, so that the inclination of the main light propagation direction can be increased starting from the neutral position in one direction of rotation up to a maximum value assigned to the other end stop, while the inclination can be reduced again starting from the maximum value in the other direction of rotation up to the neutral position.
[0015] In another advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that a step-web guide is formed between the adjusting ring and the mounting bracket, which has a radially open, annular step and at least two radially projecting webs that engage in the step, such that the webs are adjustable and axially held in the step in a circumferential direction running around the longitudinal center axis, wherein one of the adjusting ring and mounting bracket has the step, while the other of the adjusting ring and mounting bracket has the webs. A configuration in which the step is located on the mounting bracket and the webs are formed on the adjusting ring is preferred. For stable guidance between the adjusting ring and mounting bracket, three or more webs can also be provided. While a tongue and groove guide has a groove and a tongue engaging with it and acts axially on both sides, a step and web guide has a step and a web engaging with it and acts axially at least on one side.
[0016] A practical configuration is one in which the end stops are formed in the step and interact with the webs to limit the angle of rotation. For angles of rotation greater than 180°, it may also be expedient to provide the end stops separately from the step-web guide. It is also conceivable to coordinate the end stops and at least one of the webs in such a way that the web can be guided past the respective end stop within the step. In contrast, a further web can then be dimensioned accordingly larger so that it interacts with the respective end stop to limit the angle of rotation.
[0017] In another embodiment, the adjusting ring and the drive ring can form a parabolic reflector on their inner sides. The reflector concentrates the light emitted by the lighting device during operation of the recessed luminaire with respect to the main light emission direction.
[0018] According to an advantageous development, the reflector can extend from an annular end of the adjusting ring, which faces away from the driver ring, to an annular end of the driver ring, which faces away from the adjusting ring. In particular, the annular end of the adjusting ring can be located at the axial height of the mounting support with respect to the longitudinal center axis, while the annular end of the driver ring adjoins the lamp support. This results in a particularly large reflector surface for the reflector.
[0019] According to another advantageous development, the reflector can extend continuously and preferably seamlessly from the end of the adjusting ring, i.e., from the annular end of the adjusting ring, across the contact plane to the end of the driver ring, i.e., to the annular end of the driver ring. The continuously variable design of the reflector results in particularly high-quality light emission.
[0020] According to an advantageous embodiment, a heat sink can be formed or arranged on the lamp carrier on a side facing away from the drive ring, which heat sink is coupled to the lighting device in a heat-transfer manner. The lighting device can have at least one light-emitting diode (LED). The heat sink can have at least one cooling fin on a side facing away from the lighting device.
[0021] An actuating contour can be formed on the adjusting ring, particularly at the end of the adjusting ring, which can be easily gripped manually and / or with the aid of a suitable tool to rotate the adjusting ring relative to the mounting bracket. This actuating contour can, for example, be an axial recess at the end of the adjusting ring or a projection protruding axially from the end of the adjusting ring.
[0022] According to an advantageous embodiment, the recessed luminaire can be configured for installation in an opening in a wall or ceiling bordering a room, said opening being enclosed by an opening edge. The mounting bracket can have an annular, circumferential flange which is supported on an outer side of the opening edge facing the room when the recessed luminaire is installed in the opening. Furthermore, the mounting bracket can have a plurality of fastening elements with which the mounting bracket is supported on an inner side of the opening edge facing away from the room when the recessed luminaire is installed in the opening. Using the fastening elements, the recessed luminaire can be particularly easily fastened in the opening or on the opening edge. The flange enables a clean transition between the recessed luminaire and the wall or ceiling. The flange and the fastening elements can be matched to one another in such a way that the mounting bracket can be rotated around the longitudinal central axis relative to the opening edge when installed or at least when the recessed luminaire is installed.
[0023] According to another advantageous embodiment, the drive ring can have a guide element on an outer side facing away from the lighting device, wherein the mounting support has a counter-guide element complementary to the guide element. The guide element and the counter-guide element are expediently coordinated with one another such that the guide element is supported on the counter-guide element in a rotationally fixed manner about the longitudinal center axis and is axially adjustable on the counter-guide element. In this way, a rotationally fixed support for the drive ring on the mounting support is realized, which allows a change in the inclination of the drive ring in the region of the contact plane.
[0024] According to another advantageous embodiment, an annular, circumferential step-web connection can be formed in the region of the contact plane, in which a circumferential, outwardly projecting annular web engages with a circumferential, inwardly open annular step and is held therein so as to be rotatable and axially fixed in the circumferential direction. One of the annular web and annular step can expediently have or form the adjusting contour, while the other of the annular web and annular step has or forms the driver contour. Using the step-web connection, the adjusting ring and the driver ring can be positioned or mounted against one another so as to be rotatable relative to one another along the contact plane. This enables guided adjustment movements, which permits high-quality and precise alignment of the lamp carrier. While a tongue and groove connection has a groove and a tongue engaging therewith and acts axially on both sides, a step and web connection has a step and a web engaging therewith and acts axially on at least one side.
[0025] Further important features and advantages of the invention emerge from the subclaims, from the drawings and from the associated description of the figures based on the drawings.
[0026] It is understood that the features mentioned above and those to be explained below can be used not only in the respective combination specified, but also in other combinations or on their own, without departing from the scope of the invention defined by the claims. Components mentioned above and to be mentioned below of a higher-level unit, such as a device, apparatus, or arrangement, which are designated separately, may form separate parts or components of this unit or be integral areas or sections of this unit, even if this is shown differently in the drawings.
[0027] Preferred embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and are explained in more detail in the following description, wherein the same reference numerals refer to the same or similar or functionally identical components.
[0028] They show, schematically, Figure 1 an isometric view of a recessed luminaire from below, Figure 2 an isometric view of the recessed luminaire from Figure 1 , but from above, Figure 3 an axial view of the recessed luminaire from above, Figure 4 a longitudinal section of the recessed luminaire according to section lines IV in Figure 3 in a neutral position, Figure 5 a sectional view of the recessed luminaire as in Figure 4 , but in a different position, Figure 6 a sectional view of the recessed luminaire as in the Figures 4 and 5 , but in a further position, Figure 7 a sectional view of the recessed luminaire as in the Figures 5 and 6 , but in a different embodiment and in a different position, Figure 8 a sectional view of the recessed luminaire as in Figure 7 , but in a wider position.
[0029] According to the Figures 1 to 8A recessed luminaire 1 comprises a mounting support 2 and a lamp support 3, to which an electrical lighting device 4 is attached for emitting light. The recessed luminaire 1 is designed for mounting in a wall 5 or ceiling 6, which can only be Figure 4 is indicated by a broken line. The mounting support 2 serves to fasten the recessed luminaire 1 to the wall 5 or to the ceiling 6 and extends in a ring-shaped, preferably circular, shape. The ring-shaped mounting support 2 defines a longitudinal central axis 7, around which it rotates in a circumferential direction 22, which only Figure 3 indicated by a double arrow. This longitudinal central axis 7 defines an unspecified axial direction of the recessed luminaire 1, wherein the axial direction runs parallel to the longitudinal central axis 7.
[0030] The recessed luminaire 1 further comprises an adjusting ring 8, which is held on the mounting support 2 so as to be rotatable about the longitudinal central axis 7 and axially fixed with respect to the longitudinal central axis 7. The adjusting ring 8 has an annular, preferably circular, adjusting contour 9 on an axial side facing the lamp support 3. The recessed luminaire 1 further comprises a driving ring 10, which is held on the lamp support 3 so as to be rotationally fixed with respect to the longitudinal central axis 7 and axially fixed with respect to the longitudinal central axis 7. The driving ring 10 is supported on the mounting support 2 so as to be rotationally fixed with respect to the longitudinal central axis 7 and has an annular, in particular circular, driving contour 11 on an axial side facing the mounting support 2. The driving contour 11 and the adjusting contour 9 are shaped to match one another in such a way that they abut one another so as to be rotatable in a contact plane 12. This contact plane 12 is, according to the sectional views of the Figures 4 to 8inclined relative to the axial direction or to the longitudinal center axis 7 at an inclination different from 90°. In the Figure 4 In the neutral position of the recessed luminaire 1 shown and explained in more detail below, an angle of inclination 13 between the contact plane 12 and the longitudinal center axis 7 is entered that is less than 90°. In the example shown, the angle of inclination is approximately 80°, resulting in a difference of approximately 10° compared to a perpendicular orientation of the contact plane 12 relative to the axial direction.
[0031] The lighting device 4 is configured such that, during operation of the recessed luminaire 1, it emits light with a main light propagation direction 14 directed away from the lamp carrier 3 and toward the mounting support. The main light propagation direction 14 is indicated by an arrow in the figures.
[0032] The light emitted by the lighting device 4 is emitted through a light exit area 15 enclosed by the ring-shaped mounting support 2. As explained above, the adjusting ring 8 is rotatable relative to the mounting support 2 about the longitudinal central axis 7. The recessed luminaire 1 is now configured such that by rotating the adjusting ring 8 relative to the mounting support 2, the inclination of the main light propagation direction 14 relative to the axial direction or the longitudinal central axis 7 can be adjusted. Figures 5 to 8 Different inclinations between the main light propagation direction 14 and the longitudinal central axis 7 are represented by different radiation angles 16 which are formed between the main light propagation direction 14 and the longitudinal central axis 7.
[0033] The adjusting ring 8 and the driving ring 10 are configured in such a way that for the recessed luminaire 1 a Figure 4reproduced neutral position, in which the main light propagation direction 14 is coaxial with the longitudinal central axis 7. The beam angle 16 has the value 0 here and is therefore in Figure 4 not visible. By rotating the adjusting ring 8 relative to the mounting bracket 2, the inclination of the main light propagation direction 14 can now be changed, namely increased, starting from the neutral position, so that the beam angle 16 increases.
[0034] In principle, the adjusting ring 8 and the driving ring 10 can be configured in such a way that by rotating the adjusting ring 8 relative to the mounting support 2 in a first direction of rotation 17, which Figure 3is indicated by a clockwise oriented arrow, starting from the neutral position, the inclination or the beam angle 16 of the main light propagation direction 14 increases in a first direction, while by rotating the adjusting ring 8 relative to the mounting support 2 in a second direction of rotation 18 opposite to the first direction of rotation 17, which in Figure 3 is indicated by a counterclockwise oriented arrow, starting from the neutral position, the inclination or the beam angle 16 of the main light propagation direction 14 increases in a second direction opposite to the first direction. For example, in Figure 7 a setting is shown in which the beam angle 16 is spanned by the rotation in the first direction of rotation 17 starting from the longitudinal center axis 7 to the right. In contrast, Figure 8see how the beam angle 16 is spanned by the adjustment in the second direction of rotation 18 starting from the longitudinal center axis 7 to the left.
[0035] An embodiment may be useful in which two further down with reference to the Figures 3 to 5 End stops 23, 24, explained in more detail below, are formed, which limit the rotation of the adjusting ring 8 relative to the mounting bracket 2 to a predetermined rotation angle range. A rotation angle range of approximately 180° is preferred.
[0036] The Figure 4 The neutral position shown can, in one embodiment, be arranged in the middle of the rotation angle range, so that the main light propagation direction 14 can be inclined in the two opposite directions relative to the longitudinal central axis 7, which was described above with reference to the Figures 7 and 8The adjusting ring 8 can then be rotated relative to the mounting bracket 2, starting from the neutral position, in the first direction of rotation 17 up to the first end stop 23 and in the second direction of rotation 18 up to the second end stop 24.
[0037] In another embodiment, however, it can be provided that the neutral position according to Figure 4is assigned to one of the two end stops 23, 24 of the rotation angle range. In this case, the adjusting ring 8 and the driving ring 10 are then configured such that by rotating the adjusting ring 8 relative to the mounting bracket 2 in the first direction of rotation 17, starting from the neutral position which is assigned, for example, to the second end stop 24, the inclination of the main light propagation direction 14 can be increased up to a maximum value, wherein the maximum value is then reached at the first end stop 23. Starting from the first end stop 23, in which the maximum inclination between the main light propagation direction 14 and the longitudinal central axis 7 is present, the inclination of the main light propagation direction 14 can then be reduced again by rotating the adjusting ring 8 relative to the mounting bracket 2 in the second direction of rotation 18, down to the value 0, which is again reached in the second end stop, which then again corresponds to the neutral position.
[0038] In an example where the rotation angle range is approximately 180°, the second end stop 24 represents a rotation angle of 0°, while the first end stop 23 represents a rotation angle of 180°. The second end stop 24, i.e., 0°, represents the neutral position, which in Figure 4 In the neutral position, the main light propagation direction 14 and the longitudinal central axis 7 coincide, so that the beam angle 16 has the value 0. In the first end position, which occurs at a rotation angle of 180°, the beam angle 16 is Figure 6 shown state with a maximum beam angle of 16, which is approximately 20° here purely as an example. Figure 5 There is a medium rotational position, which results from a rotation angle of approximately 90°. The resulting radiation angle 16 is approximately 10° in the example.
[0039] The maximum adjustable beam angle 16 depends on the angle of inclination 13 of the contact plane 12, which in the example of the Figure 4 is approximately 80°. The maximum adjustable beam angle 16 is then approximately twice the difference between 90° and the inclination angle 13. The numerical values given here are purely exemplary. It is clear that, in principle, other maximum beam angles 16 can also be realized by specifying correspondingly different inclination angles 13.
[0040] Between the adjusting ring 8 and the mounting support 2, a step-web guide 19 can be formed, which has a radially open, annular step 20 and several radially projecting webs 21, of which only one is shown purely as an example in Figure 5is indicated. The webs 21 engage radially in the step 20 in such a way that the webs 21 in the step 20 are adjustable in the circumferential direction 22 running around the longitudinal center axis 7 and are also axially limited therein. In the example shown here, the step 20 is formed on the mounting bracket 2, while the webs 21 are formed on the adjusting ring 8. It is clear that a reverse design is also possible. In the example, an annular, circumferential upper ring web 48 is formed integrally on the mounting bracket 2 and axially limits the step 20. A further annular, circumferential lower ring web 49 is formed integrally on the adjusting ring 8 and bears axially against a further, unspecified ring step that is integrally formed on the mounting bracket 2. The end stops 23, 24 can expediently be arranged in the step 20 and formed on the mounting bracket 2 and interact with the webs 21 to limit the angle of rotation range.
[0041] The two end stops 23, 24 can be formed on a radially projecting projection 25, which in the example shown here is formed on the mounting support 2 and which has two flanks spaced apart from one another in the circumferential direction 22, each forming one of the end stops 23, 24. In the sectional views of the Figures 4 to 8the cutting plane runs in the circumferential direction 22 between the two end stops 23, 24, i.e. through the projection 25, so that the end stops 23, 24 themselves are not visible. In the example shown here, the projection 25 projects into the step 20, whereby the end stops 23, 24 are formed in the step 20 and interact with the webs 21. The first end stop can interact with a first such web 21 to limit the rotational adjustment of the adjusting ring 8 in the first direction of rotation 17, while the second end stop 24 interacts with a second such web 21 to limit the rotational adjustment of the adjusting ring 8 in the second direction of rotation 18.
[0042] In the sectional view of the Figure 4the cutting plane does not run exactly perpendicular to the contact plane 12, since an annular, in particular circular, contact zone 26, in which the adjusting contour 9 rotatably rests against the driver contour 11, is slightly curved, i.e. is not straight.
[0043] According to the Figures 1 and 4 until 8 The adjusting ring 8 and the driving ring 10 form a parabolic reflector 27 on their inner side facing the light. This reflector 27 can expediently extend from an annular end 28 of the adjusting ring 8, which faces away from the driving ring 10, to an annular end 29 of the driving ring 10, which faces away from the adjusting ring 8. A configuration in which the reflector 27 extends from the adjusting ring end 28 across the contact plane 12 or across the contact zone 26, continuously and without gaps, to the driving ring end 29 is particularly expedient.
[0044] In the example of the recessed luminaire 1 shown here, a heat sink 30 is formed or attached to the lamp carrier 3 on a side facing away from the drive ring 10, which is coupled to the lighting device 4 in a heat-transferring manner. The heat sink 30 can be Figures 1 to 3 several cooling fins 31. The heat sink 30 can be provided with a Figures 1 and 2 recognizable further snap-in or clip connection 50 can be attached to the lamp holder 3.
[0045] According to Figure 4The recessed luminaire 1 can be configured for installation in an opening 33 in the wall 5 or ceiling 6, said opening being enclosed by an opening edge 32, wherein the wall 5 or ceiling 6 delimits a space 34 facing away from the opening. The mounting support 2 can now have an annular circumferential flange 35, which is supported on an outer side 36 of the opening edge 32 facing the space 34 when the recessed luminaire 1 is installed in the opening 33. In addition, the mounting support 2 can have a plurality of fastening elements 37, with which the mounting support 2 is supported on an inner side 38 of the opening edge 32 facing away from the space 34 when the recessed luminaire 1 is installed in the opening 33. In the embodiment shown here, the mounting support 2 has, purely as an example, three fastening elements 37 evenly distributed in the circumferential direction 22. The fastening elements 37 can, for example,be formed by radially spring-elastic wings, which can be elastically deformed to such an extent that they can be moved past the opening edge 32 for inserting the mounting support 2 into the opening 33. As soon as the mounting support 2 is inserted sufficiently deep into the opening 33, the fastening elements 37 are moved past the opening edge 32 so that they can elastically expand again and engage behind the opening edge 32 in a form-fitting manner.
[0046] According to the Figures 4 to 6the driver ring 10 has a guide element 39 on an outer side facing away from the lighting device 4, while the mounting bracket 2 has a counter-guide element 40 complementary to the guide element 39. The guide element 39 and the counter-guide element 40 are expediently coordinated with one another such that the guide element 39 is supported on the counter-guide element 40 in a rotationally fixed manner about the longitudinal central axis 7, while it is axially adjustable relative to the counter-guide element 40 with respect to the longitudinal central axis 7. In particular, the guide element 39 can be guided axially adjustably on the counter-guide element 40. In the example shown here, the guide element 39 is web-shaped, so that it has a projection protruding radially outwards from the driver ring 10. In the example, the counter-guide element 40 forms an axially aligned groove-shaped channel into which the web-shaped guide element 39 engages radially and is guided and axially adjustable therein.
[0047] According to the Figures 1 to 8 In the area of the contact plane 12 or the contact zone 36, an annular, circumferential step-web connection 41 can be formed, in which a circumferential, outwardly projecting annular web 42 engages with a circumferential, inwardly open annular step 43 and is rotatably held therein in the circumferential direction 22 and fixedly held in the axial direction. In the example, the annular web 42 is formed on the outside of the adjusting ring 8, while the annular step 43 is formed on the driving ring 10. Furthermore, it is provided here that the annular web 42 forms or has the adjusting contour 9, while the annular step 43 forms or has the driving contour 11. In order that the adjusting ring 8 and the driving ring 10 are held axially to one another on both sides via the step-web connection 41, the adjusting ring 8 and the driving ring 10 can be held to one another in the area of the step-web connection 41 by means of several locking elements 51 distributed in the circumferential direction 22, one of which is in Figure 1is recognizable.
[0048] The adjusting ring 8 can have an actuating contour 44, which here is designed as an axially projecting projection. Alternatively, the actuating contour 44 can also be designed as an axial notch or recess. Other designs are also possible. The actuating contour 44 is configured such that a force or torque can be introduced into the adjusting ring 8 via the actuating contour 44, either manually or using a suitable tool, in order to rotate it relative to the mounting bracket 2.
[0049] The adjusting ring 8 is a separate component with respect to the mounting support 2, which is attached to the mounting support 2 in a suitable manner such that the adjusting ring 8 is rotatable relative to the mounting support 2 about the longitudinal center axis 7 and is fixed in the axial direction to the mounting support 2. For this purpose, for example, several locking devices 45 distributed in the circumferential direction 22 can be used, which are configured such that, on the one hand, they fix the adjusting ring 8 in the axial direction to the mounting support 2, while, on the other hand, they allow the rotational adjustment of the adjusting ring 8 relative to the mounting support 2 about the longitudinal center axis 7. For example, according to the Figures 7 and 8A locking arm 46 of the locking device 45 is fixedly arranged on the mounting bracket 2 and, with a locking lug or locking edge not further specified, axially engages behind an externally circumferential annular collar 47 fixedly formed on the adjusting ring 8. The annular collar 47 can form the lower axial annular step 49, via which the adjusting ring 8 is supported on the mounting bracket 2. The locking devices 45 ensure that the adjusting ring 8 is held axially on both sides of the mounting bracket 2 via the step-web guide 19.
[0050] The driver ring 10 can be formed integrally on the lamp carrier 3 or can be a separate component attached thereto.
