Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a lighting device for emitting light with different emission characteristics.
[0002] Previous lighting systems use different light sources and emitting surfaces to emit light at a certain half-beam angle.
[0003] Lighting devices have light sources to achieve a lighting effect.
[0004] A light source has a specific radiation pattern. A light source can be narrow-beam or narrow-beam, or it can be wide-beam. Furthermore, a distinction can be made between a compact light source with a relatively small radiation area and an extended light source with a relatively large radiation area.
[0005] The lighting effect that can be achieved by a light source results from its radiation characteristics, i.e. the radiation angle and the size of the light source that appears at the exit opening (aperture).
[0006] The lighting effect created by a light source is described as "soft" when an illuminated object is located at a relatively short distance from the light source and the light source in question is relatively large. The illuminated object can be, so to speak, surrounded by the light emitted by the light wave.
[0007] The lighting effect created by a light source is described as "hard" when the illuminated object is located relatively far away from the light source and the light source in question is relatively small. In the extreme case, this is a point light source.
[0008] Conventional light sources are known that have a large aperture but contain a large number of light sources, particularly LED clusters, which in turn have a small half-beam angle, i.e., a narrow beam. Such light sources are used as spotlights at medium to long distances. Such light sources produce a small spot of light, but even at shorter distances, the light flows around an illuminated object, so to speak, and thus also creates multiple shadows.
[0009] The beam angle indicates the angle at which a luminous flux emerges from a spotlight. Depending on the distance of the light source from the illuminated surface, this creates a light cone with a corresponding diameter. The half-beam angle is also known as the beam angle, half-power angle, or aperture angle. It is the most commonly used beam angle in lighting technology and is therefore often specified by manufacturers. The half-beam angle describes the metrologically relevant range of the radiation and thus defines an abstract boundary that is imperceptible to the human eye. It is the angle between two points at which the luminous intensity drops to 50 percent of its maximum value. The half-beam angle is also used to specify the diameter of a light cone.
[0010] LED panel lights are known for providing soft light, with the emitted light having a relatively large half-beam angle of, for example, 120 degrees. These conventional LED panel lights have a spatially distributed arrangement of light-emitting diodes that emit light through a diffuse cover plate, thus creating a soft, homogeneous light. To change the radiation characteristics of the light source, it is possible to provide prism plates or the like in order to achieve a smaller half-beam angle of, for example, 60 degrees. The relatively wide beam angle of conventional LED panel lights can be reduced using a combination of prism plates to achieve a hard lighting effect. For example, the original relatively wide half-beam angle of approximately 120 degrees can be reduced to approximately 80 degrees, achieving a luminous intensity approximately 1.5 times that of the original lighting device. However, this significantly reduces the energy efficiency (lumens per supplied electrical energy) of the lighting device.
[0011] Conventional area lights are also known which have spatially distributed LED groups with optical lenses which focus the light generated by each LED group. The light generated by the LED groups is mixed in the far field. The light emitted by the area light is relatively tightly focused and has, for example, a half-beam angle of 20 degrees. The emitted light can be used like a conventional spotlight, i.e. a relatively high luminous intensity is provided at a greater distance. With such conventional area lights it is possible to change the radiation characteristics of the light source using accessories. For example, using a diffuser disc or a so-called softbox, the originally narrow half-beam angle of, for example, 20 degrees can be expanded to a wide half-beam angle of around 120 degrees. However, even in this case, the energy efficiency of the lighting device is significantly reduced. The efficiency is reduced by the provision of the light-absorbing diffuser discs after the originally tightly focused light is converted into light with a high scattering angle.
[0012] Furthermore, lighting devices are known that feature a compact LED light source with densely packed light-emitting diodes and a small radiating area. With the help of accessories, it is possible to increase a narrow half-beam angle of, for example, 15 degrees to achieve the desired soft lighting effect. However, even in this case, the energy efficiency is significantly reduced.
[0013] Furthermore, lighting fixtures are used to illuminate a film setup in a wide variety of environments. The lighting fixtures are exposed to various environmental influences. These environmental influences include humidity or water, on the one hand, and dust, on the other. Furthermore, the lighting fixture may be exposed to fluctuating temperatures. Especially during outdoor shoots, these environmental influences can impair the functionality of the lighting fixture.
[0014] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a lighting device which allows light to be emitted with different radiation characteristics without reducing the efficiency and which is robust against environmental influences.
[0015] This object is achieved according to the invention by a lighting device having the features specified in claim 1.
[0016] The invention therefore provides a lighting device with an LED light generating device having spatially distributed groups of LEDs on an emitting surface for generating light, wherein the generated light is emitted from the emitting surface of the LED light generating device through a transparent and resistant protective screen of the LED light generating device, and with an exchangeable light shaping device which is mounted in front of the transparent protective screen of the LED light generating device for shaping the light emitted from the emitting surface of the LED light generating device.

[0061] Possible embodiments of the lighting device according to the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the attached figures.
[0062] They show: Fig. 1 shows a schematic block diagram of a possible embodiment of the illumination device according to the invention; Fig. 2 shows a possible embodiment of an illumination device according to the invention; Fig. 3 shows a possible embodiment of a multi-lens system provided within a spot optics device; Figures 4A, 4B show an embodiment of a soft optics device with an associated light distribution curve; Figures 5A, 5B show an embodiment of a spot optics device with an associated light distribution curve.
[0063] Fig. 1 schematically shows an embodiment of a lighting device 1 according to the invention. The lighting device 1 has an LED light generating device 2 and an exchangeable light-shaping device 3. The LED light generating device 2 has spatially distributed groups of LEDs or comparable lighting elements for generating light on a radiation surface. The generated light is emitted from the radiation surface of the LED light generating device 2 through a transparent and resistant protective screen of the LED light generating device 2. The transparent and resistant protective screen for protecting the LED light generating device 2 from environmental influences is preferably provided directly in front of the radiation surface of the LED light generating device 2.The transparent and resistant protective screen serves to protect the LED light generating device 2 from environmental influences, in particular from moisture and / or dust and / or temperature fluctuations. A sealed housing of the LED light generating device 2 provided with the transparent protective screen offers protection of protection class (ingress protection) IP65 or higher. The LED light generating device 2 is thus both water and dust resistant. As protection against environmental influences and as an optical interface, the protective screen is preferably located directly in front of the light-emitting diodes of the LED light generating device 2. The LED light generating device 2 has mechanical connecting elements that allow various light-shaping devices 3 to be interchangeably mounted in front of the protective screen of the LED light generating device 2.These mechanical connecting elements include, for example, guide pins and bushings as well as quick-release fasteners or the like.
[0064] The Fig. 1 In one possible embodiment, the replaceable light-shaping device 3 shown comprises a replaceable soft optics device that shapes the light emitted by the emitting surface of the LED light-generating device 2 to generate light with a large half-scattering angle of more than 90 degrees. For example, the replaceable light-shaping device 3, as a soft optics device, can shape light with a large half-scattering angle of more than 120 degrees to achieve a soft lighting effect.
[0065] Furthermore, in one possible embodiment, the replaceable light-shaping device 3 can comprise a replaceable spot optics device that shapes the light emitted by the emitting surface of the LED light-generating device 2 to generate light with a small half-beam angle of less than 45 degrees. For example, the replaceable spot optics device can shape light with a small half-beam angle of less than 30 degrees to achieve a hard lighting effect.
[0066] Furthermore, it is possible for the replaceable light-shaping device 3 to have a replaceable light dome. The replaceable light dome transforms the light emitted by the emitting surface of the LED light-generating device 2 to generate light that radiates radially in different directions, thus achieving a soft lighting effect.
[0067] In another possible embodiment, the replaceable light-shaping device 3 has a replaceable light trough that shapes the light emitted by the emitting surface of the LED light-generating device 2 to produce a light with a soft light effect. The replaceable light trough is also referred to as a softbox.
[0068] The light groups, spatially distributed from the emission surface of the LED light-generating device 2, preferably each comprise a plurality of differently colored light-emitting diodes, which are arranged closely together on the emission surface of the LED light-generating device 2. Shielding bars or similar structures are preferably provided between the LED groups 4, spatially distributed on the emission surface of the LED light-generating device 2, which completely or partially shield or block the light emitted laterally. Furthermore, these structures can also be provided to modify the light emitted laterally by the LEDs of the LED groups 4.
[0069] In one possible embodiment, the replaceable light-shaping device 3 comprises a soft optics device with a hollow chamber. The soft optics device has a hollow chamber with reflective side walls, to which a diffuser plate is permanently or replaceably attached to generate light with a soft lighting effect. For example, a so-called white box can be provided, which has a hollow chamber with white reflective walls and to which a diffuser can be attached. The hollow chamber and the diffuser are preferably coordinated in terms of their depth and their reflection and transmission properties such that the light from the LEDs is completely mixed, creating a homogeneously illuminated surface with a large beam angle. By using different diffusers, different lighting effects can be achieved or adjusted.
[0070] The light shaping device 3 of the lighting device 1 as shown in Fig. 1 , comprises, in one possible embodiment, a spot optics device. This spot optics device preferably has a two-dimensional array of adjacent, interchangeable or permanently attached optical multi-lens systems 9, each of which is arranged directly above corresponding LED groups 4 of the light generating device 2. The two-dimensional array of optical multi-lens systems 9 has a first number N of rows and a second number M of columns. The various optical multi-lens systems 9 within the two-dimensional array of the spot optics device are preferably addressed by a control device of the lighting device 1 using a row number i and a column number j.Each optical multi-lens system 9 of the spot optics device has, within the two-dimensional field of the spot optics device, a width B in an x-direction, a length L in a y-direction, and a height H in a z-direction. A surface oriented in the x- and y-direction is aligned parallel to the emission surface of the LED light-generating device 2. The optical multi-lens systems 9 within the two-dimensional field of the spot optics device have the same or different heights H. Each optical multi-lens system 9 of the spot optics device preferably has a plurality of optical lenses arranged one above the other, as also shown in FIG. Fig. 3 shown.
[0071] Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of a lighting device 1 according to the invention with an LED light generating device 2 and exchangeable light shaping devices 3A, 3B. In the Fig. 2 In the illustrated embodiment, the two interchangeable light-shaping devices 3A, 3B comprise, on the one hand, an interchangeable soft optics device 3A and, on the other hand, an interchangeable spot optics device 3B. The LED light-generating device 2 has spatially distributed LED groups or LED clusters 4 for generating light on a radiation surface. The light-emitting diodes are arranged in spatially distributed groups and can form a relatively large radiation surface overall. For example, the LED light-generating device 2 has 72 LED groups 4 on a radiation surface of, for example, 60 x 30 cm. The LED groups 4 are preferably constructed such that light-emitting diodes of different colors in a group 4 are located as close together as possible.
[0072] To protect the LED light generating device 2 from environmental influences, a transparent and resistant protective screen is preferably located directly in front of the light-emitting diode groups 4 distributed over the radiating surface. The protective screen offers protection against environmental influences, in particular against moisture, dust, or temperature fluctuations. The transparent and resistant protective screen preferably offers protection of protection class IP65 or higher. Between the LED groups 4 spatially distributed on the radiating surface of the LED light generating device 2, shielding webs are preferably provided, which completely or partially shield or otherwise modify the light emitted laterally by the light-emitting diodes of the LED groups 4. The LED light generating device 2 has a mechanical interface for attaching an exchangeable light-shaping device 3.
[0073] The light-shaping device 3, in particular the two Fig.2 The interchangeable light-shaping devices 3A, 3B shown preferably also have an ingress protection rating of IP65 or higher. This allows the luminaire and its accessories to be used outdoors without restrictions.
[0074] This replaceable light shaping device 3 can be, for example, a soft optics device 3A or a spot optics device 3B, as shown in Fig. 2 The replaceable soft optics device 3A reshapes the light emitted from the emitting surface of the LED light generating device 2 to generate light with a large half-beam angle of at least 90 degrees, so that a soft lighting effect can be achieved. The replaceable spot optics device 3B reshapes the light emitted from the emitting surface of the LED light generating device 2 to generate light with a small half-beam angle of less than 45 degrees, so that a hard lighting effect can be achieved.
[0075] In addition to the Fig. 2 In addition to the soft optics device 3A and spot optics device 3B shown, other interchangeable light-shaping devices 3 can also be attached to the light-generating device 2. These interchangeable light-shaping devices 3 are, for example, interchangeable light domes or interchangeable light troughs (softboxes).
[0076] Figuren 4A, 4B show an embodiment of a soft optics device 3A with an associated light distribution curve LVK. The soft optics device 3A offers a homogeneous luminous surface that generates soft light with a large half-beam angle.
[0077] The Figuren 5A, 5B show an embodiment of a spot optics device 3B with an associated light distribution curve LVK. The soft optics device 3B provides a tightly focused radiation of the light with a relatively small half-scatter angle.
[0078] The lighting device 1 according to the invention allows, by replacing the light shaping device 3, the radiation characteristic to be changed without reducing the energy efficiency or the light quality, so that it corresponds to the light distribution curve LVK according to Fig. 4B or according to 5B. Furthermore, it is possible to provide different soft optics devices 3A with different light distribution curves for generating light with different wide half-scattering angles. For example, a first soft optics device 3A generates light with a wide half-scattering angle of more than 80 degrees, and another interchangeable soft optics device 3A generates light with a large half-scattering angle of more than 100 degrees to achieve a soft lighting effect. For example, different soft optics devices 3B can also be provided which generate light with a small half-scattering angle. For example, a first spot optics device 3B can generate light with a small half-scattering angle of less than 45 degrees, and another spot optics device 3B can even generate light with an even smaller half-scattering angle of less than 15 degrees, so that a hard lighting effect can be achieved.
[0079] In one possible embodiment, the various light-shaping devices 3 can be manually and replaceably mounted in front of the protective screen of the LED light-generating device 2 using mechanical connecting elements. For example, the interchangeable light-shaping devices 3A, 3B each have frame elements 5 that have mechanical connecting elements 6, which allow the respective light-shaping device 3 to be attached to the LED light-generating device 2.
[0080] In the Fig. 2 In the illustrated embodiment, the soft optics device 3A has a hollow chamber with reflective side walls 7, to which a diffuser plate 8 is permanently or replaceably attached to generate a light with a soft light effect. Mechanical connecting elements 6 of the soft optics device 3A allow the soft optics device to be placed on the front of the LED light generating device 2 and to be mechanically attached using mechanical connecting elements 6, for example, clip elements.
[0081] Also the Fig. 2 The spot optics device 3B shown can be mounted on the front side of the LED light generating device 2 using corresponding mechanical connecting elements 6 and can be mechanically attached there. As shown in Fig. 2 As shown, the spot optics device 3B has a two-dimensional field of adjacent optical multi-lens systems 9, each arranged over corresponding LED groups 4 of the LED light generating device 2. The two-dimensional field of optical multi-lens systems 9 has a first number N=6 rows and M=12 columns. Furthermore, the two-dimensional field of optical multi-lens systems 9 of the spot optics device 3B can contain groups of three times three optical multi-lens systems 9, which can be controlled independently of one another. In one possible implementation, the optical multi-lens systems 9 can be provided interchangeably in the spot optics device 3B. Alternatively, the spot optics device 3B comprises permanently attached optical multi-lens systems 9, for example, six times twelve multi-lens systems 9.In one possible embodiment, the various optical multi-lens systems 9 within the two-dimensional field of the spot optics device 3B can be addressed and controlled by a control device of the illumination device 1 based on their row number i and their column number j. In one possible implementation, all multi-lens systems 9 of the spot optics device 3B can be adjusted or controlled independently of one another. Each optical multi-lens system 9 within the two-dimensional field of the spot optics device 3B, as shown in FIG. Fig. 2 has a width B in an x-direction, a length L in a y-direction and a height H in the z-direction.
[0082] Fig. 3 shows a possible embodiment of an optical multi-lens system 9 within the Fig. 2 The optical multi-lens system 9 of the spot-optical device 3B has a plurality of optical components 9B, 9C, 9D arranged one above the other. These optical components are, for example, optical lenses. These optical components are preferably separated from adjacent optical multi-lens systems of the spot-optical device 3B by an associated stray light limiter 9A of the respective optical multi-lens system 9. The optical multi-lens system 9, as shown in Fig. 3 is shown, has a first optical component 9B, which is formed, for example, by a collimating lens 9B. The first optical component 9B collects the light emitted by the corresponding LED cluster 4 of the light generating device 2 and directs it onto a subsequent second optical component 9C. The first optical component 9B captures as large a proportion of the light from the associated LED cluster 4 and collects or focuses this light. The optical multi-lens system 9 further has a second optical component 9C arranged above the first optical component 9B, which is designed, for example, as a collimating lens 9B and is designed, for example, as a condenser lens 9C. The second optical component 9C, in particular the condenser lens 9C, mixes the light emitted by the various light-emitting diodes of the LED group 4 and collected or focused by the second optical component 9B, in particular the collimating lens 9B.The second optical component 9C is, for example, a fly-eye honeycomb condenser that mixes the light from the various LEDs using facets. The optical multi-lens system 9 of the spot optics device 3B further preferably has a third optical component 9D arranged above the second optical component 9C. In one possible embodiment, this third optical component 9D is formed by a Fresnel lens 9D. A Fresnel lens 9D can have a specific scattering structure on its rear side, which, in conjunction with the condenser, ensures good color mixing and uniform spatial light distribution. The third optical component 9D emits the color-mixed light by the second optical component 9C with a predetermined luminous intensity distribution as light with a small half-scattering angle to achieve a hard lighting effect. For example, the third optical component 9D emits the color-mixed light into the far field with a defined luminous intensity distribution and a narrow half-scattering angle of, for example, approximately 10 degrees. The third optical component 9D can also be implemented by an optical component other than a Fresnel lens. For example, the third optical component 9D can be formed by a converging lens, a diverging lens, a diffuser disc, or a prism disc.
[0083] The various optical components 9B, 9C, 9D of the optical multi-lens system 9 are preferably delimited by stray light limiters 9A, which prevent the light of the multi-lens optics 9 from radiating into an adjacent multi-lens optics 9 of the spot optics device 3B and thus undesirably widening the radiation angle. In one possible implementation, the optical multi-lens system 9 of the spot optics device 3B has an entrance side facing the associated LED cluster 4, ie in Fig. 3 below, and / or on an exit side, ie in Fig. 3above, its own additional protective screen to protect the respective optical multi-lens system 9 from environmental influences. The two protective screens attached at the top and bottom, as well as the changing stray light limiter 9A, preferably form a closed housing of a multi-lens system module 9. In one possible implementation, this multi-lens system module 9 can be attached interchangeably to the spot optics device 3B. For example, the spot optics device 3B with the six rows and twelve columns 72 has independently interchangeable multi-lens optics modules 9. In one possible implementation, the multi-lens optics modules 9 have a width B in the x-direction, a length L in the y-direction, and a height H in the z-direction. This allows the various optical multi-lens systems 9 to have different heights H in order to achieve specific lighting effects. The provision of interchangeable multi-lens modules 9 allows a user to design a spot optics device 3B individually for the respective application.
[0084] In one possible embodiment of the lighting device 1 according to the invention, a distance between the third optical component 9D and the second optical component 9C of an optical multi-lens system 9 of the spot optics device 3B can be adjusted automatically or manually to change the respective half-scattering angle of the respective optical multi-lens system 9. In a preferred embodiment, the distance between the third optical component 9D and the second optical component 9C of an optical multi-lens system 9 is adjusted by means of an associated controllable actuator. This actuator is, for example, a servo motor, a piezo drive, or a hydraulic drive element. In one possible embodiment, the actuator is integrated into the optical multi-lens system module 9 and is controlled via a local interface of the multi-lens system module 9.
[0085] The controllable actuator is preferably addressable within the two-dimensional field of the spot optics device 3B by a control device, for example, by means of an address comprising the row number and column number within the two-dimensional field. Furthermore, setting values for adjusting the distance between the third optical component 9D and the second optical component 9C of the multi-lens optical system 9 can be set by the control device to control the respective actuator.
[0086] The actuators of the various optical multi-lens systems 9 of the spot optics device 3B are preferably controlled independently of one another by a control device for adjusting the half-scattering angle of the light emitted by the respective optical multi-lens system 9 of the spot optics device 3B. This control device can be integrated into the spot optics device 3B. Furthermore, an emission angle of a light beam bundle emitted by the optical multi-lens system 9 of the spot optics device 3B can be adjusted by a further control device. This control device can also be integrated into the housing of the spot optics device 3B. With the aid of the actuator, it is possible to provide a zoom optics system with a variable emission angle for each optical multi-lens system 9 within the spot optics device 3B.The spot optics device 3B is designed to contain largely identical components across a wide range of beam angles, for example, 10 to 30 degrees. For example, the collimation lens 9B, the second optical component 9C, and the third optical component 9D can be used with a 10-degree optic or a 20-degree optic. A larger beam angle results from a smaller distance between the third optical component 9D, for example, a Fresnel lens 9D, and the other components.
[0087] To generate specific lighting effects, it is possible to provide individual LED clusters or LED groups 4 of the light generating device 2 with different spot optics and / or with spot optics for which different half-scattering angles can be set. With electronically adjustable brightness and color of the LED groups 4 of the light generating device 2, a wide variety of options arise for generating special light and color effects using a type of matrix light in which individual areas of the light field can be faded in or out. Furthermore, in one possible embodiment, it is possible to use optical components that allow the radiation direction to be changed within a certain angular range, such as adjustable prism plates, piezo-moved micro-optics or the like. This makes it possible to use the lighting device 1 for illuminating various and, if necessary, also be used for moving objects. In one possible embodiment, the radiation direction of a light emitted by a multi-lens optical system 9 of the spot optics device 3B can be adjusted by a control device. This control device can be integrated into the spot optics device 3B.
[0088] In one possible embodiment of the lighting device 1 according to the invention, the various control devices can communicate with each other via a control and data bus. For this purpose, in addition to the mechanical interface, a control and data interface is provided between the LED light generating device 2 and the light shaping device 3. For example, the LED light generating device 2 has, as a basic element, a control unit with a microprocessor or controller, which controls various controllable elements within the light shaping device 3 via the data and control interface. For example, the control unit can control the actuators of the multi-lens systems 9 of the spot optics device 3B on the light generating device 2 via the control and data interface. In one possible implementation, the various controllable optical multi-lens systems 9 are addressable by their column and row numbers within the two-dimensional field of the spot optics device 3B and can receive corresponding control signals or setting values from the control unit of the lighting device 1. Furthermore, in one possible implementation, the control unit of the lighting device 1 can control the various LED groups 4 of the LED light-generating device 2. For example, a specific LED group 4 or a specific LED cluster is switched on so that it strongly emits light through an associated individual optics or optical multi-lens system 9 arranged above it. The control unit of the lighting device 1 can simultaneously control an actuator of the associated optical multi-lens systems 9, for example, to adjust the beam angle.
[0089] This can be done independently for a variety of different optical multi-lens systems 9 and the associated LED clusters 4 arranged underneath. This allows a very large number of different lighting effects to be achieved.
[0090] In another possible embodiment, the soft optics device 3A can also have a control unit that can be connected to the control and data bus of the light-generating device 2 via a control and data interface. Further embodiments of the lighting device 1 according to the invention are possible. In one possible embodiment, several interchangeable light-shaping devices 3 can be stacked one above the other in front of the transparent and resistant protective screen of the LED light-generating device 2 to shape the light emitted by the lighting device 1.
[0091] In a further possible embodiment of the lighting device 1 according to the invention, the control of the lighting device 1 for controlling the controllable components of the light-generating device 2 and for controlling the controllable components of the light-shaping device 3 is connected via a device interface to a bus of a central control of a lighting arrangement. For example, the control integrated in the lighting device 1 has a DMX interface for connection to a central console of a lighting system. This allows the control of the lighting device 1 to communicate with a central control of the lighting system according to a communication protocol. For example, the various optical multi-lens systems 9 can be set as independently controllable elements of the spot optics device 3B via different DMX channels.
[0092] Further embodiments of the lighting device 1 according to the invention are possible. In one possible implementation, the control of the lighting device 1 detects the type of light-shaping device 3 mounted in front of the protective screen. For example, a control unit integrated locally in the light-shaping device 3 can communicate with the control of the lighting device 1 integrated in the LED light-generating device 2 and transmit certain parameters. For example, the control of the lighting device 1 can detect whether the mounted replaceable light-shaping device 3 is a soft optics device 3A or a spot optics device 3B.
[0093] In another possible embodiment of the lighting device according to the invention, the LED light generating device 2 has a user interface for entering specific parameters or values. For example, a user can use the user interface to inform the controller of the lighting device 1 whether the light-shaping device 3 manually attached to the front is a soft optics device 3A or a spot optics device 3B. Furthermore, a type of soft optics device 3A and a type of spot optics device 3B can be entered via the user interface. For example, a user enters via the user interface of the LED light generating device 2 that the mounted light-shaping device 3 is a spot optics device 3B comprising six times twelve multi-lens systems 9. In this case, the controller of the LED light generating device 2 can, for example, activate all 72 corresponding LED clusters 4 to generate light. However, if the attached spot optics device 3B has a small number of optical multi-lens systems 9, the control of the light generation device 2 can, for example, activate a correspondingly smaller number of LED clusters 4. This further increases energy efficiency.
[0094] Further embodiments of the lighting device 1 according to the invention are possible. For example, the replaceable light-shaping device 3 can be folded in front of the protective screen of the LED light-generating device 2 using a folding mechanism and fixed there. For example, in one possible implementation, a foldable soft optics device 3A is located on one side of the LED light-generating device 2 and a foldable spot optics device 3B is located on another opposite side of the LED light-generating device 2. Alternatively, it is possible to mechanically detach the soft optics device 3A and / or the spot optics device 3B from the LED light-generating device 2 and replace it with another light-shaping device 3.
[0095] There are further possible embodiments of the lighting device 1 according to the invention. For example, in one possible implementation, the lighting device 1 can have a graphical user interface GUI that displays, for example, the current light distribution curve LVK provided by the currently mounted replaceable light-shaping device 3. The light distribution curve LVK of a light-shaping device 3 can be stored in a local memory of the light-shaping device 3 and, after the light-shaping device 3 has been attached and mounted, is transmitted via a data interface and a local data bus of the LED light-generating device 2 to the graphical user interface GUI of the lighting device 1 and displayed there to a user.
[0096] The lighting device 1 according to the invention is characterized by high flexibility for achieving a wide variety of lighting effects, while at the same time maintaining the same energy efficiency. Furthermore, the lighting device 1 according to the invention is extremely resistant to environmental influences.
