Description

[0001] The invention relates to a guide rail system for a guide system of a sliding element system, wherein the sliding element system comprises at least one sliding element, e.g. in the form of a glass element or a wall element, as well as the guide system in which the at least one sliding element is mounted so as to be linearly displaceable in a horizontal displacement direction or counter to the displacement direction, wherein the guide system comprises an upper guide device and the guide rail system arranged in a lower region, in particular on a floor, wherein the at least one sliding element is mounted with an upper region in the upper guide device so as to be displaceable in or against the direction of displacement and is supported against lateral movement, transversely to the direction of displacement, preferably with play, and wherein the guide rail system comprises at least one guide rail in which the at least one sliding element can be moved in or against the direction of displacement by means of one or more rollers which are fastened in a lower region or on an underside of the sliding element.

[0002] Sliding element systems are frequently used in apartments and houses, but also in gardens. Sliding elements can be designed as large-scale sliding elements, for example, flush with the floor or ceiling, such as glass sliding walls, glass elements, or wall elements, to create openable transitions from inside to outside, e.g., from a living room to a terrace, to separate living spaces, or outdoors to separate terrace areas or garden areas.

[0003] The sliding elements typically have a frame that is slidably mounted in its upper and lower sections, for example, in a guide rail system. Such sliding element systems are generally manufactured directly by the manufacturer after taking measurements in the desired shape, i.e., height, width, number of sliding elements, etc. This has the advantage that the sliding element systems are precisely tailored to the desired situation. However, on the one hand, customers often have to accept long delivery times, as measurements can only be taken in the original size once the installation space is available, and the subsequent production up to installation usually takes several weeks.

[0004] It is an object of the invention to provide the customer with a sliding element system with which he can independently and flexibly realize his sliding element system according to his own ideas.

[0005] This object is achieved with a guide rail system mentioned at the outset in that, according to the invention, the guide rail system comprises one, two or more profile elements, wherein the profile element(s) is / are designed as follows: ▪ the profile element has a guide rail on an upper side, which extends along a longitudinal extent of the profile element from a first end face to an opposite second end face of the profile element, and ▪ the profile element has a lower side, which is designed as a flat surface, ▪ the profile element has on its lower side on both sides of a longitudinal center plane, preferably on both sides of the guide rail, at least one recess, and wherein the guide rail system further comprises ▪ side end elements, which have on a side end element upper side at least one side end element elevation corresponding to the at least one recess of the profile elements, wherein, when a side end element is mounted on a long side of a profile element, the side end element elevation engages positively in a recess of the profile element and the underside of the profile element and a side end element underside, which is designed as a flat surface, form a continuous flat surface, and / or ▪ comprises connecting elements which have two connecting element elevations on a connecting element upper side which are spaced apart from one another and which correspond to recesses in the profile elements, wherein, when a connecting element is mounted on the undersides of two adjacently arranged profile elements, each connecting element elevation engages positively in a recess of one of the profile elements and the undersides of the two profile elements and a connecting element underside, which is designed as a flat surface, form a continuous flat surface.

[0006] Preferably, if two or more profile elements are provided, the profile elements are of identical design.

[0007] With the guide rail system according to the invention, the user can configure the lower guide rail system to any desired width and length. For example, they can use just one profile element, which they can then cut to the desired length if necessary, and provide one (or more) side end elements on both sides. Several profile elements can be arranged in a row, creating a longer sliding element system in which sliding elements can also be moved past each other (at least partially or completely).

[0008] In a guide rail, which consists of one or more guide rails of profile elements arranged in a row, one or more sliding elements can be arranged and moved. However, sliding elements obviously cannot slide past each other in a guide rail.

[0009] Accordingly, it can be advantageous to arrange profile elements next to each other, whereby two or more rows of one or more profile elements can be arranged next to each other. The adjacent profile elements can be easily connected with the connecting elements without the need for tools, so that the profile elements arranged side by side are fixed in their relative positions.

[0010] The underside of the guide rail system forms a flat surface, preferably a continuous flat surface, so that the guide rail system can be arranged particularly easily on a suitably designed or prepared floor.

[0011] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.

[0012] Advantageously, it can be provided that at least two of the profile elements are arranged one behind the other in a row with regard to their longitudinal extent, wherein the end faces of adjacent profile elements in a row contact one another and the profile elements lie with their undersides in a common plane, wherein the profile elements are aligned and arranged with regard to their longitudinal extent in the displacement direction in such a way that the guide rails of adjacent profile elements merge flush into one another.

[0013] In this way, longer guide rails can be formed by arranging profile elements next to each other.

[0014] Furthermore, it can be provided that at least two profile elements or at least two rows of profile elements are arranged laterally next to one another, wherein adjacent profile elements are each connected to one another by one or more connecting elements.

[0015] In this way, guide rails can be arranged next to each other so that sliding elements in one guide rail can be moved independently of rail elements in other guide rails.

[0016] Advantageously, it can be provided that at least one or more end elements are attached to the free longitudinal side of the profile elements located on the outside.

[0017] Such end elements are preferably arranged over the entire length and continuously along a profile element or a row of two or more profile elements, so that the entire "open" longitudinal side of a profile element or a row of profile elements is closed.

[0018] If only one profile element or only one row of profile elements is present, preferably over the entire length of the row or profile element, a corresponding number of end elements are provided, preferably on both long sides.

[0019] Furthermore, it is advantageous if the recesses extend over the entire length of the profile element and / or side end element elevations extend over the entire length of the side end element and / or connecting element elevations extend over the entire length of the connecting element.

[0020] When profile elements are lined up side by side, the recesses merge into one another to form a continuous recess. The side end elements and / or connecting pieces are inserted with their corresponding elevations, which can also extend across the entire length of the respective element, and are then reliably connected to the profile elements or reliably connect profile elements to one another.

[0021] The connecting elements and / or end elements can also be installed offset so that they are connected to two profile elements, which can increase the stability of the connection.

[0022] It can be provided that the recesses and / or side end element elevations and / or connecting element elevations are rectangular or square in cross section.

[0023] The cross-section under consideration is formed by a cutting surface orthogonal to the longitudinal extension of the profile element.

[0024] This design of the recesses and corresponding elevations allows for simple production on the one hand, and simple assembly on the other, and provides a stable connection.

[0025] It is particularly advantageous if the profile elements and / or the connecting elements are mirror-symmetrical with respect to their respective longitudinal center plane.

[0026] As already mentioned, all profile elements of the guide rail system are identical. All connecting elements are also advantageously identical to one another, especially in terms of their shape, and the same applies to the end elements. This already simplifies assembly.

[0027] If the profile elements and the connecting elements are also mirror-symmetrical as described above, all that needs to be taken into account during assembly is that the top side of the profile element is facing upwards; which end face of the profile element is then "front" or "back" is irrelevant.

[0028] Advantageously, it can also be provided that the underside of the profile elements comprises a further surface, preferably a further flat surface, laterally outwards, adjacent to a recess, wherein the further flat surface is located closer to the upper side of the profile element than the first surface.

[0029] This stepped design of the underside of the profile element makes it easy to create a continuously flat surface when attaching a connecting element or end element.

[0030] It is preferably provided that the side end elements run outwards and are bevelled downwards.

[0031] For example, the side end elements have a sloped surface that slopes outward and downward. This allows for comfortable crossing of the guide rail system on foot, especially without tripping or even with rolling objects, since this design does not create a step on the floor. Instead, the guide rail system—unless it is flush with the floor—is tapered into the floor.

[0032] Finally, it can advantageously be provided that the guide rail of a profile element is designed in the form of a grooved rail, in particular a T-grooved rail in the profile element.

[0033] This shape facilitates the running of rollers of the sliding elements and prevents them from jumping out of the guide rail. It also prevents the guide rails from becoming dirty.

[0034] Furthermore, the invention relates to a guide system for a sliding element system, wherein the sliding element system comprises at least one sliding element, e.g. in the form of a glass element or a wall element, and the guide system in which the at least one sliding element is mounted so as to be linearly displaceable in a horizontal displacement direction or counter to the displacement direction, wherein the guide system comprises an upper guide device and a guide rail system arranged in a lower region, wherein the guide rail system is a guide rail system as described above.

[0035] It is preferably provided that the upper guide device comprises a number of upper guide elements, e.g. guide profiles, corresponding to the number of rows of profile elements, which each run parallel to a row of profile elements and substantially over the entire length of the respective row of profile elements.

[0036] Finally, the invention also relates to a sliding element system comprising at least one sliding element, e.g. in the form of a glass element or a wall element, and a guide system in which the at least one sliding element is mounted so as to be linearly displaceable in a horizontal displacement direction or counter to the displacement direction, wherein the guide system is a guide system as described above.

[0037] In such a sliding element system, it can be provided that on the underside of the sliding elements, in particular on a frame of the sliding elements, rollers are provided, which are preferably mounted on the sliding element so as to be rotatable about a horizontal axis transverse to the direction of displacement, which rollers are inserted in a guide rail of the guide rail system.

[0038] Furthermore, it can be provided that on an upper side or in an upper region of the sliding element, in particular on a frame of the sliding element, guide elements, in particular guide rollers, which are each rotatably mounted on the sliding element about a vertical axis, and wherein the guide elements are arranged in the upper guide device, in particular in a guide profile of the guide device.

[0039] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, which shows Fig. 1a perspective view of a sliding element system according to the invention, Fig. 1a the sliding element system Fig. 1 with a partially pushed-on sliding element, Fig. 1b a detailed view of an area Figure 1a , Fig. 2 a perspective view of a profile element, Fig. 3 a cross-section of the profile element Figure 2 , Fig. 4 a cross-section of a connecting element, Fig. 5 a cross-section of a side closure element, Fig. 6 the storage of a sliding element in an upper area in a guide profile, Fig. 7 an upper guide device with two guide profiles, Fig. 8 an upper guide device with two guide profiles, Fig. 9 a guide rail system with a profile element with one side end element on each side, Fig. 10the mounting of a sliding element in a lower area in a guide rail of a guide rail system made of Figure 9 , Fig. 11 a guide rail system with two profile elements connected by a connecting element and with one side end element on each side, and Fig. 12 a guide rail system with three profile elements that are connected with connecting elements and with one side end element on each side.

[0040] Figure 1 shows an example of a sliding element system 1 according to the invention, which in the embodiment shown comprises three sliding elements 2, e.g. in the form of a glass element or a wall element, as well as a guide system 10, in which the sliding elements 2 are mounted so as to be linearly displaceable in a horizontal displacement direction R or opposite to the displacement direction R. This displacement is in Figure 1aindicated and shows one of the sliding elements 2 in a shifted position, while in Figure 1 the sliding elements 2 are in a closed position.

[0041] The guide system 10 comprises an upper guide device 100 and a guide rail system 200 arranged in a lower area, which Figure 1b can be seen even more clearly.

[0042] The guide rail system 200 is mounted in a known manner, for example on a floor, the upper guide device e.g. on a ceiling of a building, a wall recess, etc.

[0043] The sliding elements 2 are each mounted with an upper region 21 in the upper guide device 100 so as to be displaceable in or against the direction of displacement R and are supported against lateral movement, transverse to the direction of displacement R, preferably with play, as is shown by way of example in Figure 6 is shown.

[0044] Figure 6shows an upper guide device 100 with a guide profile 300 in which a sliding element 2 is guided. For this purpose, the sliding element 2 has one or more guide elements 30, in particular one or more guide rollers, in its upper region 21 or on its upper side, e.g., on a frame 2' of the sliding element 2, which are each mounted on the sliding element 2 so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis, e.g., about a vertical axis. The guide element(s) 30 are arranged on the guide profile 300 and laterally support the sliding element 2.

[0045] The guide rail system 200 located in a lower area or below comprises at least one guide rail 210. In the example shown, three guide rails 210 arranged next to one another are provided, as shown in Figure 1bcan be seen, wherein a sliding element 2 is arranged in each guide rail 201 and can be moved in or against the sliding direction R with one or more rollers 3, which is / are fastened in a lower region 22 of the sliding element 2.

[0046] Figure 10 shows, by way of example, a sliding element 2 with a roller 3 (several such rollers can also be provided along the sliding element), which is mounted in the lower region 22 of the sliding element 2, in particular on an underside, e.g., on a frame 2' of the sliding element 2, rotatable, in particular about a horizontal axis which runs transversely, in particular perpendicular to the sliding direction R. This roller 3 is inserted into the guide rail 210 of the guide rail system 200.

[0047] The guide rail system 200 according to the invention comprises one or preferably two or more profile elements 220, wherein such a profile element 220 in the Figures 2 and3 is described in more detail. The profile elements 220 are identically designed.

[0048] The profile elements 220 are designed as described below: The profile element 220 has a guide rail 210 on an upper side 221, which extends along a longitudinal extent L of the profile element 220 from a first end face 222 to an opposite second end face 223 of the profile element 220. The profile element 220 has a lower side 224, which comprises a flat surface 224'. The flat surface 224' can have recesses 224a, for example, to save material and make the profile element 220 lighter. However, the flat surface 224' can also be continuous, without a recess.

[0049] Furthermore, the profile element 220 has at least one recess 301, 302 on its underside 224 on both sides of its longitudinal center plane LE 220, preferably on both sides of the guide rail 210.

[0050] The guide rail 210 of a profile element 220 is designed, for example, in the form of a grooved rail, in particular a T-grooved rail in the profile element 220. This shape facilitates the running of rollers of the sliding elements and prevents them from jumping out of the guide rail. Furthermore, soiling of the guide rails can be prevented.

[0051] Furthermore, the guide rail system 200 includes side end elements 400, as shown in the example in Figure 4shown. Such a side end element 400 has, on a side end element upper side 401, at least one side end element elevation 410 corresponding to the at least one recess 301, 302 on the underside 224 of the profile elements 220. When a side end element 400 is mounted on a long side 225, 226 of a profile element 220, the side end element elevation 410 engages in a form-fitting manner in a recess 301, 302 of the profile element 220, and the underside 224 of the profile element 220 and a side end element underside 402, which is designed as a flat surface, form a continuous flat surface.

[0052] Figure 9 shows a guide rail system 200 with a profile element 220, which is connected on both long sides 225, 226 to an end element 400 as described above.

[0053] The guide system 100 comprises a number of upper guide elements 300 corresponding to the number of rows of profile elements 220, which each run parallel to a row of profile elements 220 and substantially over the entire length of the respective row of profile elements 220. A guide rail system 200 as in Figure 9 and 10 For example, an upper guide device 100 with a guide profile 300 as in Figure 6 shown assigned.

[0054] In addition, the guide rail system 200 may comprise connecting elements 500, as shown for example in Figure 5shown. Such a connecting element 500 has on its connecting element upper side 501 two connecting element elevations 510, 511 which are spaced apart from one another and correspond to depressions 301, 302 of the profile elements 220. When a connecting element 500 is mounted on the undersides 224 of two adjacently arranged profile elements 220, each connecting element elevation 510, 511 engages in a form-fitting manner in a depression 301, 302 of one of the profile elements 220, and the undersides 224 of the two profile elements 220 and a connecting element underside 502, which is designed as a flat surface, form a continuous flat surface.

[0055] Figure 11shows a guide rail system 200 in which two profile elements 220 arranged laterally next to one another are connected to one another by a connecting element 500 as described above. A terminal element 400 is also arranged on the respective "free" longitudinal side of the profile elements 220. An associated upper guide device 100 with two guide profiles 300 is shown by way of example in Figure 7 shown.

[0056] Figure 12 Finally, FIG. 1 shows a guide rail system 200 in which three profile elements 220 are arranged laterally next to one another, wherein the adjacent profile elements 220 are each connected to one another as described above with a connecting element 500. Furthermore, a respective end element 400 is arranged on the respective "free" longitudinal side of the profile elements 220. An associated upper guide device 100 with three guide profiles 300 is shown by way of example in FIG. Figure 8 shown.

[0057] End elements 400 are preferably arranged over the entire length and continuously along a profile element 220 or a row of two or more profile elements arranged one behind the other and adjacent to one another, so that the entire "open" longitudinal side of a profile element or the row of profile elements is closed off.

[0058] If only one profile element or only one row of profile elements is present, a corresponding number of end elements is preferably provided on both long sides, preferably over the entire length of the row or the profile element.

[0059] With the guide rail system according to the invention, the user can configure the lower guide rail system 200 as desired in terms of width and length. For example, they can use only one profile element 200, which they can then cut to the desired length if necessary, and they can provide one (or more) side end elements 400 on both sides. Several profile elements can be arranged in a row, resulting in a longer sliding element system in which sliding elements can also be moved past each other (at least partially or completely).

[0060] In a guide rail, which consists of one or more guide rails 210 of profile elements arranged in a row, one or more sliding elements can be arranged and moved. However, sliding elements cannot be pushed past one another in a guide rail.

[0061] Accordingly, it can be advantageous to arrange profile elements next to each other, whereby two or more rows of one or more profile elements can be arranged next to each other. The adjacent profile elements can be easily connected with the connecting elements without the need for tools, so that the profile elements arranged side by side are fixed in their relative positions.

[0062] As described above and shown in the figures, the underside of the guide rail system 200 forms a flat surface, preferably a continuous flat surface, so that the guide rail system 200 can be particularly easily arranged on a suitably designed or prepared floor. The guide rail system can be screwed and / or glued to the floor, for example.

[0063] The elements 220, 400, 500 of the guide rail system 200 are preferably made of aluminum.

[0064] When two or more profile elements are arranged in a row one behind the other, it is advantageous with regard to the connection if connecting elements 500 and / or end elements 400 are arranged offset, in particular in such a way that they are fastened in an area where two profile elements abut one another, so that they are in contact with both profile elements.

[0065] Coming back to the Figures 2 and 3 , which show a profile element 220 in detail, it can be seen that the recesses 301, 302 advantageously extend over the entire length of the profile element 220.

[0066] Side end element elevations 410 of the end elements 400 preferably also extend over the entire length of the side end element 400, the same preferably also applies to the connecting element elevations 510, 511, which preferably each extend over the entire length of their connecting element 500.

[0067] When profile elements are lined up side by side, the recesses merge into one another to form a continuous recess. The side end elements and / or connecting pieces are inserted with their corresponding elevations, which can also extend across the entire length of the respective element, and are then reliably connected to the profile elements or reliably connect profile elements to one another.

[0068] The connecting elements and / or end elements can also be installed offset so that they are connected to two profile elements, which can increase the stability of the connection.

[0069] Preferably, the recesses 301, 302, the side end element elevations 410, and the connecting element elevations 510, 511 are all rectangular or square in cross-section, and their cross-sections correspond to one another or are essentially congruent with one another. The cross-sections preferably remain unchanged over the longitudinal extent of the respective element.

[0070] The cross-section under consideration is formed by a cut surface orthogonal to the longitudinal extension of the profile element, as shown, for example, in the Figures 3, 4 and 5 is shown.

[0071] This design of the recesses and corresponding elevations allows for simple production on the one hand, and simple assembly on the other, and provides a stable connection.

[0072] It is particularly advantageous if, as shown ( Figure 3, Figure 4 ) the profile elements 220 and the connecting elements 500 are mirror-symmetrical with respect to their respective longitudinal center plane LE 220 , LE 500 .

[0073] As already mentioned, all profile elements of the guide rail system are identical. All connecting elements are also advantageously identical to one another, especially in terms of their shape, and the same applies to the end elements. This simplifies assembly.

[0074] If the profile elements 220 and the connecting elements 500 are furthermore mirror-symmetrical as described above, then during assembly it is only necessary to ensure that the upper side of the profile element is directed upwards; which end face of the profile element is then "front" or "back" is irrelevant.

[0075] Out of Figure 2 and 3 Finally, it can be seen that in the profile element 220, laterally outwardly, adjacent to the recesses 301, 302, the underside 224 of the profile elements each comprises a further surface 224", preferably a further flat surface, wherein the further flat surface 224' is located closer to the upper side 221 of the profile element 220 than the first surface 224'. Preferably, the "first" surface 224' and the second surface 224" run parallel to one another.

[0076] The recesses 301, 302 are thus enclosed by the first surface 224' and the second surface 224" respectively, and the resulting shape in a type of step leads to the formation of a hook, so that the elevations 410, 510 of the elements 400, 500 inserted into the recesses 301, 302 of the profile elements 220 are stably secured therein against its lateral movement out transversely to the longitudinal extent.

[0077] Returning to the end elements 400 as in Figure 5As shown, it is advantageously provided that the side end elements 400 extend laterally outwards, i.e., are beveled downwards, directed away from the profile element 220. For example, the side end elements 400 have a plane 403 sloping downwards towards the outside. This allows for comfortable crossing of the guide rail system on foot, in particular without tripping or even with rolling objects, since this design does not form a step on the floor, but rather the guide rail system - unless it is recessed flush with the floor - runs flat into the floor.
