[0001] Drive component, comprising a base part, a converter, a handheld control unit
[0002] Description:
[0003] The invention relates to a drive component comprising a base part, a converter, and a handheld control device.
[0004] It is generally known that a drive has an electric motor fed by an inverter, so that the electric motor acts as a drive component and the inverter also acts as a drive component.
[0005] From DE 19847 789 A1, a series of converters is known as the closest state of the art.
[0006] The invention is based on the object of developing a drive component, wherein a drive component can be used in the field, i.e. unprotected by a control cabinet in an industrial plant.
[0007] According to the invention, the object is achieved in the drive component according to the features specified in claim 1.
[0008] Important features of the invention in the drive component, in particular the converter arrangement, are that the drive component has a base part, a converter and a handheld control unit, wherein a frame part is fastened to the base part, in particular by means of screws, wherein a cover is arranged on the frame part so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis, wherein in a first pivoting angular position of the cover, the handheld control unit is surrounded, in particular housed, by the cover, the frame part and the base part to form a housing. The advantage here is that the handheld control unit can be protected from environmental influences by closing the cover, i.e. by pivoting the cover into the first pivoting angular position, and yet the display means of the handheld control unit is still visible. This means that, for example, a speed or other parameters can be displayed.
[0009] In an advantageous embodiment, the cover is made of a light-transparent material or has a light-transparent section. This is advantageous because the display of the handheld control unit is visible, allowing the parameter values to be read even when the cover is closed.
[0010] In an advantageous embodiment, the handheld control unit is accessible from the vicinity of the drive component in a second swivel angle position, different from the first. This is advantageous because when the cover is open, i.e., when the cover is swiveled into the second swivel angle position, the input devices of the handheld control unit are accessible from the vicinity, thus enabling the input of updated parameter values, which are then transferred to the memory of the converter's signal electronics and stored.
[0011] In an advantageous embodiment, a seal, in particular a flat seal, is arranged between the frame part and the cover in the first pivot position, in particular with the seal being attached to the frame part, in particular by means of a material bond. This is advantageous in that a high degree of protection can be achieved.
[0012] In an advantageous embodiment, a circuit board is arranged in the base part, which is equipped with a mating connector part into which a connector part of the handheld control unit is plugged. This has the advantage that a quick and easy connection is possible. In addition, the handheld control unit can be supplied with electrical power via the plug connection and the data transmitted through the base part via the communication interface between the handheld control unit and the converter can be easily transferred. The handheld control unit can be easily replaced with another handheld control unit. In an advantageous embodiment, a further mating connector part is arranged in the base part, into which another connector part of the converter is plugged. This has the advantage that the converter can be easily and quickly replaced, in particular with an converter with different functionality and / or rated power.
[0013] In an advantageous embodiment, the handheld control device has a display, in particular for displaying parameter values. It is advantageous that the display is easy to read.
[0014] In an advantageous embodiment, the handheld terminal has an input device, in particular for entering parameter values. This is advantageous because the inverter parameters can be changed using the handheld terminal.
[0015] In an advantageous embodiment, the lid or the area is made of plastic. This allows for simple and cost-effective production.
[0016] In an advantageous embodiment, the base unit provides the converter with a three-phase voltage supply that can be interrupted by a rotary switch, particularly an emergency stop switch. This has the advantage of increasing safety.
[0017] In an advantageous embodiment, the converter has a rectifier that can be supplied from the three-phase voltage supply, the DC-side connection of which feeds an inverter of the converter. The inverter comprises a parallel circuit of three series circuits, each of which has two controllable power semiconductor switches, in particular IGBTs or MOSFETs, connected in series. The control signals of the controllable power semiconductor switches are generated by signal electronics of the converter, in particular depending on parameters stored in a memory of the signal electronics. It is advantageous that the speed of the electric motor, which is designed as a three-phase motor, can be increased.
[0018] In an advantageous embodiment, the handheld terminal is electrically connected to the signal electronics of the converter, whereby the parameter values can be visually displayed using a display on the handheld terminal and changed using the input devices on the handheld terminal. This allows for simple, ergonomic operation of the converter.
[0019] In an advantageous embodiment, the frame part has a first eyelet to form the pivot axis, and the cover has a second eyelet. A bolt extends through the first eyelet and the second eyelet to form the pivot axis. The advantage here is that the pivot axis can be manufactured easily and cost-effectively.
[0020] In an advantageous embodiment, the frame part is rectangular, in particular as a rectangular frame. This is advantageous because the handheld control unit can be designed in a cuboid shape, thus allowing for optimal integration into the frame part.
[0021] In an advantageous embodiment, the handheld control unit is plugged into the base unit, and the converter is plugged into the base unit. This provides a quick and easy connection and allows for easy interchangeability of the devices.
[0022] In an advantageous embodiment, the handheld control unit is arranged inside the frame part, and the converter is arranged outside the frame part. The advantage here is that the frame part surrounds the handheld control unit in a protective manner.
[0023] The invention is not limited to the combination of features in the claims. Further possible combinations of claims and / or individual claim features and / or features of the description and / or the figures will become apparent to those skilled in the art, particularly from the problem and / or the problem posed by comparison with the prior art. The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to schematic illustrations:
[0024] Figure 1 shows a partial area of a drive component according to the invention in an oblique view with the cover 2 opened.
[0025] In Figure 2, the partial area is shown in an oblique view with the cover 2 closed.
[0026] Figure 3 shows the drive component in an oblique view.
[0027] Figure 4 shows a cross-section through the drive component.
[0028] Figure 5 shows an enlarged view of a portion of Figure 4.
[0029] As shown in the figures, the drive component comprises a base part 30, onto which a converter 31 is mounted, and a frame part 1, to which a handheld control unit 4 is attached. In particular, the drive component is a converter assembly.
[0030] The hand-held control unit 4 is clip-connected to the frame part 1.
[0031] For this purpose, a pressure part 40, in particular a push button, is arranged on the handheld control device 4 for linear movement. The pressure part 40 is preferably rail-guided.
[0032] A spring element 41 supported on a housing part of the hand-held control device 4 presses the pressure part 40 against a limit formed on the housing part.
[0033] The pressure part 40 has a nose pointing outwards, in particular a nose pointing away from the housing part.
[0034] The nose has a chamfered insertion so that when the handheld control unit 4 is plugged onto a corresponding mating connector part 42, the nose engages, particularly on an inwardly directed projection of the frame part 1. During this plugging, the connector part 44 is inserted into the mating connector part 42, and electrical contacts are connected. This plug connection enables easy replacement of the handheld control unit 4 with a handheld control unit with different functionality. The plug-in direction is perpendicular to the direction of the spring force generated by the spring element 41.
[0035] The handheld terminal 4 has a display, in particular a screen, and input means. The plug connection enables parameterization of the converter 31 using the handheld terminal 4.
[0036] This converter 31 is mounted on the base part 30, which is arranged in the system, in particular outside a control cabinet. The converter 31 provides a three-phase voltage to a three-phase motor. For this purpose, a three-phase voltage is supplied to the converter 31, which feeds a rectifier of the converter 31. The DC-side connection of the rectifier feeds an inverter of the converter 31. For this purpose, the DC-side connection of the rectifier is connected to the DC-side connection of the inverter, with the DC-side connection of the inverter supplying a parallel circuit of series circuits, each of which has two series-connected, controllable power semiconductor switches, in particular IGBTs or MOSFETs.
[0037] The control signals of the power semiconductor switches are generated by signal electronics, which includes a control device that operates depending on parameters that can be stored in a memory of the signal electronics.
[0038] The handheld control unit 4 is connected via the plug connection and electrical lines routed in the base part 30 to a further mating connector, which is connected to a connector of the converter, in particular when the converter 31 is plugged onto the base part 30.
[0039] Depending on the control information entered into the input devices of the handheld terminal, the parameters are read from the memory and displayed on a display device, in particular a screen, of the handheld terminal 4. Furthermore, a new value for each parameter can be stored in the memory by entering the relevant information. The handheld terminal 4 thus allows, for example, the speed of the electric motor supplied by the converter 31 to be specified.
[0040] Since the converter 31 is plug-connected to the base part 30, a quick and easy replacement is possible.
[0041] In particular, a rotary switch or emergency stop switch for disconnecting the three-phase voltage supply for the converter 31 is arranged in the base module 30.
[0042] A cover 2 is arranged on the frame part 1 so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis 5.
[0043] The cover 2 is optically transparent or has at least one optically transparent section. Thus, by folding the cover 2, the handheld control unit 4 is enclosed by the frame part 1 and the cover 2 together with the base part 30. A seal 3, in particular a flat seal, is arranged on the frame part 1, so that this seal 3 is arranged between the frame part 1 and the cover 2, thus ensuring a high degree of tightness.
[0044] The drive component containing the converter 31 therefore does not have to be arranged in the control cabinet, but can also be arranged openly in an industrial plant, i.e. without further protection.
[0045] When the cover 2 is open, the handheld control unit 4 can be removed or plugged into the connector.
[0046] After closing the cover 2, the display means of the handheld control unit can still be observed through the cover 2.
[0047] For linear guidance of the pressure part 40, this pressure part 40 has an annular groove into which an annular elevation of the housing part of the handheld control device 4 projects. Furthermore, a dome part is formed coaxially to the annular elevation on the pressure part 40, wherein the spring element 41, preferably designed as an annular spring, is attached and thus guided. The pressure part 40 is thus linearly displaceable parallel to the annular axis of the annular groove and also to the coaxial annular axis of the annular elevation, in particular, wherein the spring force of the spring element 41 must be overcome accordingly.
[0048] In further embodiments according to the invention, the transparent area in the cover 2 is designed as a plastic window.
