The invention further comprises the following subject matter: a computer-readable storage medium on which the computer program product according to the last preceding claim is stored. Technical background

[0002] When driverless trains are parked overnight in a depot, for example, this is a good opportunity to carry out maintenance or cleaning on the trains. However, since trains are not normally parked at platforms in the depot, there is no door release there. The trains are often not switched off or are simply put into energy-saving mode. This means that door monitoring is active in these cases, and any attempt to open the door is interpreted as a safety risk and prevented by a door release device provided on the vehicle. The maintenance staff or cleaning staff are therefore faced with the problem of opening the doors. This requires both a door release and a door opening command.

[0003] According to the state of the art, it is known to define a criterion that the door release can only be triggered in a station when the vehicle is at a platform. It would, of course, be possible to use this criterion as an alternative to trigger a door release in the depot as well. However, different operating conditions exist in a depot, and the door opening is also triggered for a different purpose, namely maintenance and cleaning, and not for transporting passengers. Summary of the invention

[0004] The object of the invention is to resolve the described problems in the prior art. In particular, it is the object that a rail-guided vehicle, especially in driverless mode, can generate a door release signal even for maintenance and cleaning work, in order to be able to open the doors for personnel access. Furthermore, the object of the invention is to provide a device for requesting said door opening, with which a door can also be opened for the purpose of maintenance and servicing. Finally, the object of the invention is to provide a method, a computer program, and a device for providing the same, with which said door release signal can be generated.

[0005] According to a first aspect of the invention, a track-guided vehicle is described with a device for releasing doors, wherein the device for releasing doors is designed to be able to release doors for opening in normal operation with the aid of a computer only when the vehicle is at a platform.

[0006] The door release device is a computing instance that can, on the one hand, process data (vehicle standstill, location in a station, correct position on the platform, etc.) that can be evaluated as a criterion for granting door release, and, on the other hand, generate data that can be sent as a door release message. Once the door release has been granted, the door can be opened in a conventional manner. For this purpose, a door opening command is generated. This command is received by a door opening control device (e.g., by the door release device) or generated (e.g., by the control device) and causes an actuator to open the door.

[0007] Regular operation of the vehicle is understood to mean its intended use for the purpose of transporting passengers. In other words, during regular operation, the vehicle arrives at platforms, where, after a door release, the doors are opened so that passengers can board and disembark.

[0008] However, the vehicle is not only in operation during regular service. Outside of operating hours and / or for the purpose of vehicle maintenance and cleaning, the operator organizes a background operation (also known as service operation). Background operation includes, among other things, bringing vehicles onto and off the track for regular service as needed. The vehicles are also parked in depots where cleaning and maintenance work can be carried out.

[0009] According to the invention, the door release device is operable in a first mode and in a second mode depending on a first criterion and a second criterion, wherein a) in the first mode, the door release device is set up to only release the doors for opening if the vehicle is at a platform according to a first criterion (which represents a condition and can be defined as a parameter of a message such that a computer-assisted evaluation can be carried out by a computing instance of the vehicle which receives the message), and b) in the second mode, the door release device is set up to also release the doors for opening if the vehicle is not at a platform according to the first criterion and, in addition, a second criterion of a required door release is met.

[0010] In other words, according to the invention, in addition to the known criterion for door opening on a platform during normal operation, a second criterion is introduced with which door release can be granted in a second mode for background operation, for example in a depot. It is important that the second criterion is dependent on the first criterion. In other words, the second criterion may only enable door release by the door release device if the first criterion is not currently met. This means that the second criterion cannot have any effect if the vehicle is currently stationary in a station (i.e., normal operation is taking place). This is essential for reasons of operational safety, since the doors on the platform are intended to open in a station, but here only the first criterion may be decisive.

[0011] Of course, opening a door on an open track according to the second criterion is also not permitted. However, this does not pose the problem that the first and second criteria could conflict. Both criteria must be secured in such a way that opening a door on an open track is not possible during normal operation or in background operation. Exceptions to this only apply in emergencies, which, however, are organized differently than those taking the first and second criteria into account.

[0012] The criteria within the meaning of the invention are relevant aspects of the technical process, which consists of determining and issuing a door release and subsequent door opening. Technically speaking, these criteria are transmitted as the content of messages using interfaces that are exchanged between the individual process components (e.g., a vehicle control computer that also controls the door release, a computer responsible for coordinating the door opening, or a processor that controls the actuator for the door opening).

[0013] Advantageously, the invention thus provides the possibility of performing door release in background operation for the purpose of maintenance (e.g., repairs) and servicing (including cleaning) of the vehicle with the aid of the second criterion. In this case, it is not necessary to provide the vehicle with the first criterion to open the door, and thus with at least partially incorrect information about the ambient conditions.

[0014] According to a further aspect of the invention, a device for requesting a door opening command is described, comprising a third interface via which a message for requesting the door opening command can be transmitted to a device for opening the door in a computer-assisted manner.

[0015] The third interface is thus provided so that the request device can transmit the need for a door to be opened for maintenance or repair purposes to a door opening device. Alternatively, the request can also be sent to the door release device, which then forwards the request to the door opening device via the first interface.

[0016] This aspect of the invention is determined in that the device for requesting is configured to send, with the message containing the request, status information that access to the vehicle is to be granted for the purpose of maintenance and / or repair.

[0017] The status information that access to the vehicle is to be granted for the purpose of maintenance and / or repair (hereinafter referred to as the service notification) is thus sent as part of the request, making it possible to evaluate this status information in the receiving unit (door release device or door opening device). It should be noted that the request does not need to be a secure (in the sense of functional safety) message, as this alone cannot trigger the door opening. However, the door release device and the door opening device are operated safely (in accordance with the applicable safety requirements for door opening).

[0018] The service notification increases security because it prevents people who are not supposed to enter the vehicle for service purposes and who do not have the ability to send the service notification from gaining access to the vehicle. Furthermore, the service notification allows the door release request to be evaluated in the context of an upcoming service (maintenance or repair). This increases security, preventing a door release from being accidentally triggered by a request during normal operation. Because the recipient of the service notification is informed of the purpose of the door release request, it can be denied if the vehicle is in normal operation and not in background mode.

[0019] According to a further aspect of the invention, a method for computer-assisted door release in a track-guided vehicle is described, wherein the doors are only released for opening during regular operation when the vehicle is at a platform. According to this aspect, it is provided that a device for door release is operated in a first mode and in a second mode, wherein c) in the first mode, the door release device releases the doors for opening only when the vehicle is at a platform according to a first criterion, and d) in the second mode, the door release device releases the doors for opening even when the vehicle is not at a platform according to the first criterion and, in addition, a second criterion of a required door release is met.

[0020] This method is directly suitable for implementation in the vehicle or request device described above. Therefore, the principles described above, in conjunction with the achieved advantages, apply accordingly to the method according to the invention.

[0021] According to a further aspect of the invention, a computer program is described, comprising program instructions which, when the program is executed by a computer, cause the computer to carry out the method according to one of claims 7 and 8.

[0022] According to the invention, a computer program containing program modules is thus described with program instructions, wherein the method according to the invention and / or its embodiments can be carried out by means of the computer program and the described advantages are achieved with the execution.

[0023] According to a further aspect of the invention, a computer-readable storage medium is described on which the computer program product according to the last preceding claim is stored.

[0024] Furthermore, according to a further aspect of the invention, a provision device for storing and / or providing the computer program in the form of a computer-readable storage medium is described. The provision device is, for example, a storage unit that stores and / or provides the computer program. Alternatively or additionally, the provision device is a network service, a computer system, a server system, in particular a distributed, for example, cloud-based computer system or virtual computer system, which stores the computer program on a computer-readable storage medium and preferably provides it in the form of a data stream.

[0025] The provision takes place in the form of program data sets as a file, in particular as a download file, or as a data stream, in particular as a download data stream, of the computer program. The computer program is transferred, for example, using the provision device into a computing environment, so that the method according to the invention can be executed in a computing instance of this computing environment.

[0026] A device is computer-aided or computer-implemented if it has at least one computer or processor, or a method if at least one computer or processor carries out at least one method step of the method.

[0027] A computing environment is an IT infrastructure consisting of components such as processors, memory units, programs, and the data to be processed by the programs, which are used to execute at least one application that has to perform a specific task. The IT infrastructure can also consist of a network of these components.

[0028] Computing instances (or instances for short) form functional units within a computing environment that can be assigned to applications (given, for example, by a number of program modules) and can execute them. These functional units form self-contained systems, physically (e.g., a computer, processor) and / or virtually (e.g., a program module), when the application is executed.

[0029] Computers are electronic devices with data processing capabilities. Computers can be clients, servers, handheld computers, communication devices, and other electronic data processing devices that may contain processors and memory units and may also be connected to a network via interfaces.

[0030] Processors can be, for example, converters, sensors for generating measurement signals, or electronic circuits. A processor can be a central processing unit (CPU), a microprocessor, a microcontroller, or a digital signal processor, possibly combined with a memory unit for storing program instructions and data. A processor can also be a virtualized processor or a soft CPU.

[0031] Storage units can be implemented as computer-readable memory in the form of random-access memory (RAM) or data storage (hard disk or data carrier).

[0032] Program modules are individual software functional units that enable a program sequence of method steps according to the invention. These software functional units can be implemented in a single computer program or in several communicating computer programs. The interfaces implemented in this way can be implemented in software within a single processor or in hardware if multiple processors are used.

[0033] Interfaces can be implemented in hardware, for example wired or as a radio connection, or in software, for example as interaction between individual program modules of one or more computer programs. General embodiments of the invention

[0034] Variants describing further developments of the invention are explained below without limiting the basic idea of the invention.

[0035] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined by the vehicle being designed to be operated driverless.

[0036] Driverless operation of the track-guided vehicle is thus possible both in regular operation and in background operation, whereby the door release and door opening can also take place in background operation without the involvement of a driver.

[0037] Driverless operation particularly benefits from the fact that door release and opening can be carried out automatically, preferably initiated from outside, since these steps in a driverless vehicle cannot be triggered by a human driver on board. Therefore, door release and opening must be particularly secure not only during regular operation but also in background operation. The vehicle according to the invention provides the framework for this.

[0038] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined in that a device for opening the door has a first interface for the device for releasing the door, via which at least one message containing the door release can be transmitted.

[0039] The door release device can send a message via the first interface containing the door release and, if applicable, additional information. The additional information can, for example, indicate that only certain doors, preferably only the doors on one side of the vehicle, are to be released. Furthermore, the information that the door release is running as part of background operation can be transmitted.

[0040] To successfully transmit the message, the door release device and the door opening device must be configured to interpret the message content. This requires an extension of the configuration if the message is to contain content that is not transmitted during normal operation when the door is released.

[0041] However, it is also possible that the door release device does not receive any information about whether the door is being released during regular operation or background operation. This takes into account the fact that the door release device does not necessarily need this information. However, if this information is not transmitted, the door release device is solely responsible for checking the conditions for door release both during regular operation and background operation. As already mentioned, the safety requirements must be taken into account here.

[0042] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined in that the device for opening the door has a second interface via which a message with a door opening command can be transmitted.

[0043] The door opening device can receive the message containing the door opening command via the second interface and then initiate the door opening. For this purpose, the door opening device can transmit a door opening command, forward the received door opening command, or directly control the doors for the purpose of opening the doors. This ultimately depends on the vehicle's infrastructure, which includes an actuator for opening the doors, optionally a dedicated control unit for this actuator, and the door opening device, which can also directly control the actuator.

[0044] The advantage of transmitting a message with a door opening command is that the decision as to whether to open the door can be made outside the door opening device. In particular, this decision can be made at a lower security level than the security level required for the door opening device.

[0045] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined by the fact that the request device is installed in a trackside device or a mobile terminal.

[0046] The trackside device or the mobile device, which can be carried by maintenance and repair personnel, for example, establishes a connection, preferably via an interface, to the vehicle whose doors are to be opened for the purpose of transmitting the request. After the request has been transmitted, the door can be released if the specified requirements are met. This is verified by the door release device.

[0047] If the request device is integrated into a trackside device or the mobile device, this has the advantage that the request can be sent when the request device is in close proximity to the vehicle. This reduces the process's susceptibility to errors, as a request is then always triggered in close proximity to the vehicle. Limiting the range of the signal containing the request message also advantageously reduces the probability of errors.

[0048] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined in that the criterion contains location information that the vehicle is located in a predetermined release zone for the doors.

[0049] By generating such location information, it can be ensured that the location information can be interpreted by the door release device to determine whether or not a door may be released for the purpose of maintenance and repair. This makes it possible, for example, to define a release zone in a depot within which the vehicle must be located for the door to be released. If the vehicle is not parked exactly in the release zone, for example, the door will not be released in order to avoid endangering the personnel entrusted with maintenance and repair. A hazard can arise if the conditions for maintenance and repair are not met outside the release zone, or if access to the vehicle doors is obstructed.

[0050] The evaluation of location information can therefore advantageously increase the safety of maintenance and repair personnel.

[0051] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined in that the criterion contains location information that the vehicle is located at a predetermined parking position.

[0052] Specifying a parking position helps monitor the movement of the vehicle as accurately as possible. Such a parking position does not necessarily have to correspond to the definition of a release zone, as described above. For example, the vehicle can be parked outside the release zone in a specific parking position to wait for the release zone to become available if a vehicle is already undergoing maintenance or repair work there. It is also possible for a release zone to accommodate multiple vehicles, whereby the parking position can be used to determine in which area of the release zone the vehicle in question was stopped.

[0053] The parking position thus improves the performance of the vehicle according to the invention and the method associated with its operation. Release zones can be used by multiple vehicles simultaneously, and vehicles can wait near the release zone for maintenance and repair work.

[0054] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined in that the criterion contains status information that the vehicle is in a parking mode.

[0055] The status information that the vehicle is in standby mode can be linked to various requirements. A minimum requirement is that the vehicle's traction is switched off. In other words, it must be possible to rule out the possibility of the vehicle still moving when the door is opened. This is ensured by switching off the traction. Other criteria can include shutting down potentially dangerous operating systems in the vehicle, for example, whose maintenance would otherwise not be permitted.

[0056] The advantage of considering the parking mode, in which the vehicle is parked or, in other words, held in the parked position, as status information and thus as part of the criterion, is that the door release device can process this information directly. This is particularly advantageous when safety-relevant systems that are parked when the vehicle is parked can no longer provide this information. As already mentioned, the door release device is equipped with a security level that allows this status information to be taken into account.

[0057] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined in that the criterion contains status information that maintenance and / or repair is to be carried out.

[0058] The advantage of including this status information in the criterion is that door release can be denied if no maintenance and / or repair is planned.

[0059] According to a variant, the aspects of the invention explained above are determined in that the criterion contains a condition on which side of the vehicle the door release may take place.

[0060] This can, for example, be made dependent on whether the access requirements are met on the side of the vehicle where the doors are being unlocked. This advantageously provides a security advantage. Exemplary embodiments of the drawing

[0061] Further details of the invention are described below with reference to the drawings. Identical or corresponding drawing elements are provided with the same reference numerals in the individual figures and are explained repeatedly only to the extent that differences arise between the individual figures.

[0062] The exemplary embodiments explained below are preferred embodiments of the invention. Detailed description of the drawing

[0064] In Figure 1A vehicle FZ is shown in a depot DP, which has been parked on a track GL. The vehicle FZ is located at a parking position AP, which is marked by a trackside device in the form of a beacon BL. The parking position AP is located in a release zone FRZ, in which services can be provided for the vehicle FZ. These services involve maintenance and repair measures that can be carried out by personnel, represented by a person PS for example. To enable the person PS to access the vehicle interior through the doors TR of the vehicle FZ, a service platform SP is provided, which is at the level of a station platform.

[0065] The vehicle FZ is provided with a vehicle control system FS, which also includes a door release device ETF as a component. The door release device ETF is connected to a door opening device ETO via a first interface S1. The door opening device ETO is provided to coordinate the opening of all doors TR of the vehicle FZ (only one of the doors TR is shown for the sake of clarity). For this purpose, the door opening device ETO is connected via a fourth interface S4 to a control system CR, which in turn is connected via fifth interfaces S5 to actuators AR, which are mechanically connected to the doors TR for opening them.

[0066] Various devices can communicate with the vehicle FZ to request a door opening. This can be done by a control center LZ, which forms a sixth interface S6 via a first antenna A1 with a third antenna A3 of the vehicle control system FS. Furthermore, the person PS can use a device for requesting a door opening EAT, which forms a second interface S2 with a fourth antenna A4 of the door opening device ETO via a second antenna A2 and forms a third interface S3 via the second antenna A2 with the third antenna A3. Finally, there is a switch SLT on the outside of the vehicle FZ, which is directly connected to the door opening device ETO via a seventh interface S7.

[0067] To trigger a door opening, a door release must first be present. This is generated by the door release device (ETF). This requires a door release request from the control center (LZ), the person (PS) with their portable door release request device (EAT), the switch (SLT), or, under certain conditions, the trackside device (BL). At the same time, these devices can also be used to confirm the parking position (AP) within the release zone (FRZ), which is incorporated as status information into the second criterion (K2), which must be met as a prerequisite for door release. Figure 1This is the case because the vehicle FZ is located in the release zone FRZ and can therefore generate a door release for the person PS. The first criterion K1, that the vehicle FZ is not at a platform in regular RB operation, but background operation HB is possible for the purpose of service work, is also met.

[0068] In Figure 2 An example of the process is shown using a flowchart. This is explained in more detail below.

[0069] The process is started according to step 1 (abbreviated: START). In step 2, the presence of the first criterion K1 is checked (abbreviated: CHK_K1). In a subsequent query step 3, a check is made as to whether the first criterion K1 is met (abbreviated: K1?). If the first criterion K1 is met, this means that the vehicle FZ, which usually consists of a train, is on the route or is at a station, but is not parked in a depot DP. In step 4, a query is made as to whether the vehicle FZ is currently at a station (abbreviated: CHK_ST). In a subsequent query step 5, a check is made as to whether this query has shown that the vehicle FZ is at the platform of a station. If this is not the case, step 2 is repeated as part of a recursion and the process continues from there as described above.

[0070] If query step 5 reveals that the vehicle FZ is at a platform, a door release (TF for short) is issued in a known manner in step 6, provided that all prerequisites are met. The door release is performed, as already mentioned, by the door release device ETF in the vehicle control system FS. Subsequently, a door opening command is generated and transmitted in step 7 (TO for short). This door opening command is generated in the door opening device ETO, as already explained, and passed on to the control system CR, which controls the actuators AR to open the door (in Figure 2not shown). Before the vehicle FZ continues to drive, the door opening device ETO initiates the closing of the door TR (TS for short) in a step 8 by generating a door closing command and sending it to the control unit CR via the fourth interface S4 in the same way as for the door opening (see Figure 1 ), which in turn controls the actuators to close the doors TR. To ensure continued safe operation of the vehicle FZ, the process runs through a recursion and continues by repeating step 2 and the subsequent steps.

[0071] If query step 3 results in the first criterion K1 not being met, the second criterion K2 is queried in step 9 (abbreviated to CHK_K2). In a subsequent query step 10, it is checked whether the second criterion K2 is met. If this is not the case, the vehicle FZ is parked in the depot DP and no service measures are required. The process is terminated in step 15 (abbreviated to END).

[0072] If query step 10 reveals that the second criterion K2 is present, service measures are required. The second criterion K2 also includes the conditions that the vehicle FZ is located in a release zone FRZ and, preferably, that the parking position AP of the vehicle FZ has been confirmed. As soon as the presence of a request has been registered in step 11 (abbreviated to CHK_AN), access to the vehicle FZ is permitted, whereby this proceeds analogously to the case described above in which the vehicle FZ is parked at a platform. In step 12, a door release is issued (abbreviated to TF). In step 13, the door is opened by generating a door opening command (abbreviated to TO). After service work has been completed, the door TR is closed in step 14. Although in Figure 2not shown, can be triggered by a request to close the door TR. This request can be triggered by the personnel PS, whereby the device for requesting the door opening EAT can preferably also be used to transmit the request to close the door TR.
