[0003] The invention relates to a tubular body as a carrier for grilled food for rotisserie grills.
[0004] A dish commonly known as doner kebab, gyro, or schwarma contains grilled meat as its main ingredient, which is cooked on a usually vertically arranged rotisserie. For this purpose, large numbers of individual raw pieces of meat are skewered onto a tubular body until a roughly cylindrical or often truncated cone-shaped layer with a diameter of up to 50-60 cm is formed. This layer is then attached to a motor-driven rotisserie of the grill via the tubular body and rotated relative to a heating surface located a few centimeters from the layer. This creates a cooked layer of meat a few millimeters thick, which is then cut off the layer in portions using a cutting device and used for further processing.

Patent claims 1. Tubular body (10, 10'; 14, 14') as a carrier for grilled food for rotisserie grilling devices, characterized in that the tubular body (10, 10'; 14, 14') is made of a material based on a cereal flour or semolina.
2. Tubular body (10, 10'; 14, 14') according to claim 1 , characterized in that the material contains cereal flour or grits and water as well as less than 10 wt.% egg, eggshell and / or gum arabic.
3. Tube body (10, 10'; 14, 14') according to claim 2, characterized in that the material contains 55 - 65 wt.% cereal flour or grits and 35 - 45 wt.% water.
4. Tubular body (10, 10'; 14, 14') according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the grain is durum wheat.
5. Tube body (10, 10'; 14, 14') according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the tube body (10, 10'; 14, 14') is designed as a round tube or as a polygonal tube, in particular as a square tube.
