Abstract
Description
[0001] Gearbox with shaft and centrifugal disc
[0002] Description:
[0003] The invention relates to a transmission with a shaft and a centrifugal disc.
[0004] It is well known that a gearbox has a rotatably mounted shaft and generates heat loss.
[0005] The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a transmission in which cooling is to be improved.
[0006] According to the invention, the object is achieved in the transmission according to the features specified in claim 1.
[0007] Important features of the invention in the transmission with shaft and centrifugal disc are that the shaft is rotatably mounted by means of at least one bearing, wherein a centrifugal disc is connected to the shaft in a rotationally fixed manner, wherein the centrifugal disc has a conical region, in particular on its radially outer edge.
[0008] An advantage here is that the oil thrown off by the centrifugal disc is also at an angle of less than 90° to the shaft's rotational axis. This allows for an inclined, particularly upward, throw-off of the oil. This allows the centrifugal disc to also apply oil to a higher inner surface area of the housing part, thus enabling the oil to be cooled through the housing part to the environment.
[0009] In an advantageous embodiment, the bearing, in particular an outer ring of the bearing, is accommodated in a bearing flange,
[0010] ISI \ EIDOPAT 30.05.2023 wherein the bearing flange is connected to a housing part of the gearbox, in particular by means of screws. It is advantageous that the bearing flange is arranged above the housing part and / or axially adjacent to the housing part. This allows the oil lubricating the bearing to reach the centrifugal disc and be centrifuged from there. The heat of the oil can then be transferred to the housing part.
[0011] In an advantageous embodiment, slots, in particular radial slots, are arranged in the conical region. The advantage here is that oil can be centrifuged off at different angles. This is because the conical region enables oil to be centrifuged off at the radial outer edge of the conical region depending on the cone angle. The slots enable centrifugation at the edge of the slot, in particular perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the shaft. In particular, oil is centrifuged off from the radially inner edge of the slot. The centrifugation speed is lower here than when centrifuging from the edge of the conical region. In this way, a wider area on the inside of the housing part can be exposed to oil.
[0012] In an advantageous embodiment, the slots are spaced apart from one another in the circumferential direction, in particular evenly spaced from one another. This is advantageous in that a regular and / or uniform distribution of oil can be achieved.
[0013] In an advantageous embodiment, a shoulder is formed on the inside, particularly the inner surface, of the housing part. This is advantageous in that the housing part can be designed to taper towards the bearing flange, thus creating sufficient space for gearing components in the widened interior area facing away from the bearing flange. Furthermore, the housing part can be formed with cooling fins on its outside in the area covered by the widened area in the axial direction. Thus, a large outer circumference of the housing part is provided with cooling fins and can therefore be easily cooled.
[0014] In an advantageous embodiment, a first inner surface region of the housing part has a smaller radial distance from the axis of rotation of the shaft than a second inner surface region of the housing part, wherein one or the shoulder is arranged in the axial direction between the first and the second inner surface region, in particular wherein the first inner surface region adjoins the shoulder and the second inner surface region adjoins the side of the shoulder axially facing away from the first inner surface region. It is advantageous in this case that the housing part is designed to be narrowed toward the bearing flange.
[0015] In an advantageous embodiment, the area covered by the conical region in the axial direction, in particular in the direction of the shaft's rotational axis, is encompassed by or overlaps with the area covered by the second inner surface region in the axial direction. Advantageously, the oil thrown off by the conical region can be thrown upwards, thus impinging on the first inner surface region with oil.
[0016] In an advantageous embodiment, the oil thrown off the conical region at the shaft's rated speed sprays the area covered in the axial direction by the first inner surface area. This is advantageous because the first inner surface area can be exposed to oil even though the centrifugal disc is positioned lower, in particular in the area covered in the axial direction by the second inner surface area.
[0017] In an advantageous embodiment, the oil thrown off the slots, in particular from the respective slot edges, at the rated speed of the shaft, sprays, in particular at least partially, the area covered in the axial direction by the second inner surface area. This is advantageous because not only the inner surface area located higher than the centrifugal disc is exposed to oil, but also the lower inner surface area.
[0018] In an advantageous embodiment, the centrifugal disc is designed in the shape of a perforated disc radially within the conical region of the centrifugal disc, wherein the region covered by the perforated disc-shaped region in the axial direction, in particular in the direction of the rotational axis of the shaft, is encompassed by or overlaps with the region covered by the second inner surface region in the axial direction. It is advantageous in this case that the centrifugal disc is designed as a rotating body, wherein the generating surface of the rotating body is a rectangle or a surface composed of two or more rectangles.
[0019] In an advantageous embodiment, the housing part has cooling fins on its exterior. This allows for improved heat dissipation in the expanded area.
[0020] In an advantageous embodiment, the area covered by the cooling fins in the axial direction is spaced apart from the area covered by the first inner surface area in the axial direction and overlaps with the area covered by the second inner surface area in the axial direction. It is advantageous that cooling fins are arranged on the outside of the inner surface area sprayed by the slots of the centrifugal disc, thus enabling efficient heat dissipation.
[0021] In an advantageous embodiment, the rated speed is between 2000 and 3100 revolutions per minute. This is advantageous because the oil drop height is essentially negligible, especially because the horizontal flight distance or the distance between the shaft and the housing part is much greater than the drop height.
[0022] In an advantageous embodiment, the centrifugal disc has a wall thickness measured in the axial direction in the radial distance region covered by the conical region, which increases with increasing radial distance. This is advantageous in that the conical region can be machined from a solid piece. In particular, the centrifugal disc is finely machined, allowing the conical region to be manufactured precisely. Alternatively, the centrifugal disc, in particular at least the part of the centrifugal disc comprising the conical region of the centrifugal disc, has the conical region as an unmachined and therefore rough cast surface. This allows for a wider distribution of the sprayed oil droplets.
[0023] In an advantageous embodiment, the radial distance is relative to the shaft's rotational axis, with the axial direction being aligned parallel to the shaft's rotational axis, and the circumferential direction also relative to the shaft's rotational axis. Advantageously, the centrifugal disc is designed as a rotating body relative to the shaft's rotational axis, and only the slots, in particular radial slots, need to be introduced into the rotating body.
[0024] In an advantageous embodiment, the shaft, particularly the shaft's rotational axis, is vertically aligned. This is advantageous because the oil coming from the bearing flows down to the centrifugal disc and is then thrown off.
[0025] In an advantageous embodiment, the bearing is arranged above the centrifugal disc. This has the advantage that the oil that lubricates the bearing and is thus heated reaches the centrifugal disc and is thrown off by it.
[0026] In an advantageous embodiment, the centrifugal disc is designed as a rotating body, with the exception of the slots. This is advantageous because it allows for simple manufacturing and / or machining, particularly through rotary machining.
[0027] Further advantages emerge from the dependent claims. The invention is not limited to the combination of features in the claims. Further possible combinations of claims and / or individual claim features and / or features of the description and / or the figures will become apparent to those skilled in the art, particularly from the problem and / or the problem posed by comparison with the prior art.
[0028] The invention will now be explained in more detail using schematic illustrations:
[0029] Figure 1 shows a section of a transmission according to the invention, wherein a shaft 1 is connected to a centrifugal disk 3.
[0030] In Figure 2, the centrifugal disc 3 is shown in an oblique view in a first viewing direction.
[0031] In Figure 3, the centrifugal disc 3 is shown in an oblique view in a second viewing direction.
[0032] In Figure 4, the centrifugal disc 3 is shown as a further embodiment in a divided form and in an oblique view.
[0033] In Figure 5, the centrifugal disc 3 of the design according to Figure 4 is exploded and shown in an oblique view.
[0034] As shown in the figures, the transmission comprises a shaft 1, which is rotatably mounted by means of a bearing 2, in particular a rolling bearing. The bearing 2 is accommodated in a bearing flange 7, which is connected to a housing part 5, in particular by means of screws.
[0035] The inner ring of bearing 2 is placed on shaft 1 and positioned against a step of the shaft. The outer ring of bearing 2 is accommodated in a bore through bearing flange 7, in particular into which the outer ring is inserted.
[0036] The housing part 5 has cooling fins 8 on its outside.
[0037] The housing part 5 is narrowed towards the bearing flange 7.
[0038] Thus, the radial spacing area covered by the cooling fins 8 is arranged radially outside the contact surface of the housing part 5 with the bearing flange 7. For this purpose, the housing part 5 has a shoulder on its inner side. In particular, the inner surface of the housing part 5 in the area covered by the centrifugal disc 3 in the axial direction is arranged radially outside the inner surface of the housing part 5 adjacent to this area and arranged closer to the bearing flange 7.
[0039] Around the shoulder, the inner surface of the housing part 5 therefore has a monotonically decreasing radial distance.
[0040] The radial distance, the axial direction and the circumferential direction are always related to the axis of rotation of shaft 1.
[0041] Preferably, the rotational axis of shaft 1 is vertically aligned. Thus, the oil lubricating the bearing 2 flows from the bearing 2 down the shaft 1 to the centrifugal disc 3, which is mounted on the shaft 1 and connected to the shaft 1 in a rotationally fixed manner.
[0042] The oil is then thrown off from the outer edge of the centrifugal disc 3.
[0043] Since the narrowed area of the inner surface of the housing part 5 is located axially closer to the bearing flange 7, i.e., at a higher level, the flinger disc has a conical section. This allows the oil to be thrown off at the conical angle, i.e., obliquely upwards.
[0044] The conical region is interrupted several times by circumferentially spaced slots, in particular radial slots, of the centrifugal disc 3. These thus also enable centrifugation in a horizontal direction, so that the widened inner surface area is hit, in particular the area of the inner surface below the shoulder.
[0045] By means of the conical area, the area of the inner surface above the heel can be supplied with oil.
[0046] Overall, the oil is distributed as widely as possible across the housing section 5, allowing for the most even cooling of the oil. This is because the oil that hits the surface above the shoulder, in particular, drips down the edge of the shoulder into the transmission's oil sump and is thus not further cooled.
[0047] By means of the slots 6, the area of the housing part 5 below the shoulder is also supplied with oil and thus used to cool the oil.
[0048] Preferably, the centrifugal disc 3 is thickened in the conical region, i.e. with an increasing, in particular strictly monotonically increasing, wall thickness measured with increasing radial distance in the axial direction.
[0049] Radially within the conical area of the centrifugal disc 3, the centrifugal disc is designed in the shape of a perforated disc, in particular without a conical angle.
[0050] Preferably, the conical region is formed on the side of the centrifugal disc 3 facing the bearing flange 7.
[0051] The centrifugal disc 3 is connected to the shaft 1 in a rotationally fixed manner, in particular by force and / or form-fitting.
[0052] The slots 6 pass through the conical area and end at the perforated disc-shaped area of the centrifugal disc 3.
[0053] The slots 6 are in particular evenly spaced from one another in the circumferential direction.
[0054] Preferably, the centrifugal disc is designed in one piece, in particular in one part.
[0055] Preferably, the centrifugal disc 3 is connected to the shaft 1 by adhesive bonding, welding, pinning, screwing and / or keying.
[0056] Increased safety can be achieved, in particular, by combining a material-to-material connection with a positive connection. This is because, if the material-to-material connection fails, the positive connection is still activated. As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the centrifugal disc 3 is split in another embodiment. The two parts 40 of the centrifugal disc 3 are connected to each other by tangentially directed screws 41 that pass through both parts. Each of the parts 40 is shaped like a half-ring.
[0057] The screws 41 press the two parts together.
[0058] Preferably, the dividing plane of the centrifugal disc 3 contains the rotational axis of the shaft 1. In further embodiments according to the invention, the centrifugal disc 3 is designed in two or more pieces. The dividing plane is preferably aligned such that the normal to the dividing plane is parallel to the rotational axis of the shaft 1. Thus, two pieces of the centrifugal disc can be displaced relative to each other in the axial direction, and the centrifugal disc can be clamped to the shaft, i.e., connected in a force-locking manner. A first of the pieces is formed as a ring, and the second of the pieces as a slotted bushing.
