Abstract
Description
[0001] Device for rewinding yarns
[0002] The present invention relates to a device for rewinding yarns from a supply spool onto a spool tube to form a spool, comprising a control system and a machine frame and a spool mandrel held in the machine frame in a rotationally fixed manner, with a spool mandrel axis for receiving the supply spool and with a winding device.
[0003] Yarn rewinding devices are used in various forms in the textile industry. Rewinding of feed yarn or yarns is a common process during yarn production. The yarns are wound onto spools in such a way that the spools can be used optimally in subsequent processes. For example, conical dyeing spools are produced from cylindrical feed spools. In this process, a feed yarn is rewound from the feed spool onto a spool tube. Another application of rewinding machines entails the need for special spool formats. For example, sewing machines have predetermined spool formats which, due to their specific size, cannot be used in the actual production of the yarn. Special requirements regarding the type of winding or an unusual shape of the feed yarn can also make rewinding necessary.The devices for rewinding yarns comprise a bobbin mandrel for holding the supply bobbin, a scavenging device, and usually a yarn brake. The bobbin mandrels are designed to be rotationally fixed for rewinding yarns on bobbin cores, since the supply bobbin does not rotate while the yarn is being drawn off. The yarn drawn off overhead from the stationary supply bobbin is guided to the scavenging device via a yarn brake. The yarn brake ensures the necessary tension in the yarn as it is wound onto the bobbin tube. CH 530 333 discloses such a rewinding device, in which the yarn is drawn off in conjunction with delivery mechanisms by the rotating movement of a main bobbin and / or a support roller. The support roller can serve to drive the main bobbin. The yarn is drawn off overhead during rewinding, and the supply bobbin itself does not rotate.Not all types of feed yarns are made available on feed spools with bobbin cores (or bobbin tubes) after the yarn has been produced. The yarn, for example, is formed into feed spools in the form of so-called spin cakes. The yarn is wound onto a skeleton made of wire or flat steel, which gives the feed spool the appearance of a polygon on its outer surface. The diameter of this skeleton is also larger at the outer ends of the spool than the diameter of the wound yarn. This makes it impossible to unwind the yarn from a spin cake overhead. This is the case with viscose yarns, for example. In a device designed to rewind feed spools in the form of spin cakes, the spool domes are therefore rotatably mounted. With spin cakes, the yarn is wound onto a wire frame instead of a bobbin core. This makes it impossible to unwind the yarn overhead.Spincakes are therefore mounted on a horizontally arranged spool mandrel, allowing them to rotate. Depending on the design of the spincake and the properties of the yarn being unwound, the spincake rotates either by the thread tension or by a motor.
[0004] During the unwinding or uncoiling process of a spincake, the feed yarn is drawn off in a rotating manner, causing the spincake, i.e., the actual roving bobbin, to rotate. Imbalances in the spincake create vibrations that are transferred to the yarn and cause tension spikes. These tension spikes penetrate all the way to the bobbin, resulting in a reduction in the quality of the new bobbin. Particularly with flat yarns, such as viscose, this leads to the layers formed on the bobbin beginning to slip, resulting in unsatisfactory bobbin quality or rendering the bobbin unusable for further processing.
[0005] EP1707523A1 discloses a rewinding device for rewinding yarns, which device comprises control variable recording means configured to determine a rewinding speed control variable of the yarn from a supply bobbin. A control module is provided configured to control a rewinding unit for regulating the rewinding speed depending on the rewinding speed control variable. A take-off thread tension is mentioned as a possible rewinding speed control variable, which is to be determined by means of a thread tension sensor directly downstream of the supply bobbin.
[0006] GB1490293A discloses further devices for regulating the thread tension when unwinding from a spool.
[0007] The object of the present invention is therefore to propose a device and a method for rewinding a feed yarn from a non-spool-shaped feed onto a spool tube, which enables a stable rewinding process and thus a high quality of the spool.
[0008] The problem is solved by a device and a method having the features of the independent patent claims.
[0009] A device for rewinding feed yarns onto a bobbin tube to form a bobbin is proposed. The device comprises a control system and a machine frame, wherein the machine frame contains a rotationally fixed bobbin mandrel with a bobbin mandrel axis for receiving the feed yarn, a first dancer arm, a first thread tension sensor for measuring a yarn tension, a delivery mechanism, and a winding device. The first dancer arm and the first thread tension sensor are arranged between the bobbin mandrel and the delivery mechanism. Furthermore, a take-off thread guide is arranged at a radial distance from the bobbin mandrel axis, wherein the take-off thread guide is provided with a drive for rotating the take-off thread guide about the bobbin mandrel axis.A feed yarn placed on the rotationally fixed bobbin mandrel is not drawn off overhead by the flushing device, i.e. in the direction of the bobbin mandrel axis, but is guided away from the bobbin mandrel radially towards the bobbin mandrel axis by the rotating take-off yarn guide. The radial distance of the take-off yarn guide from the bobbin mandrel axis depends on the diameter of the feed yarn deposit. It has been shown that for most applications a radial distance of 0.6 to 0.8 times the diameter of the feed bobbin or spin cake is sufficient. The take-off yarn guide rotates around the bobbin mandrel at a speed determined by the control system, so that the feed yarn is always guided away from the bobbin mandrel in a radial direction. The feed yarn is thus guided away from the bobbin mandrel in the opposite way to how it was wound up or prepared during its manufacture.After the take-off yarn guide, the feed yarn is guided to the first dancer arm and then via the first yarn tension sensor to the delivery system. The take-off yarn guide, which rotates around the bobbin mandrel axis, has the advantage that the winding type of the feed yarn or spin cake has no influence on the behavior of the yarn during unwinding. Only negligible vibrations arise because, due to the lack of movement of the roving bobbin, any existing imbalance in the roving bobbin does not affect the movements of the taken-off feed yarn. Especially with flat yarns such as viscose, the device enables the production of high-quality bobbins. Furthermore, energy is saved compared to conventional methods because, unlike the familiar rotation of the feed bobbin, the weight of the feed yarn has no influence on the drive of the take-off yarn guide.This new device also enables trouble-free, complete unwinding of the template yarn.
[0010] According to a preferred embodiment, the device has a control system which is configured to regulate a rotational speed of the take-off thread guide about the bobbin mandrel axis based on a yarn tension measured by the first thread tension sensor, as will be explained in more detail below.
[0011] Particularly reliable control of the yarn tension can be achieved if the first dancer arm is arranged between the bobbin dome and the yarn tension sensor. This results in only dampened fluctuations in the yarn tension in the (downstream) yarn tension sensor, enabling reliable measurement of the yarn tension, as explained in more detail below. The dancer arm is a well-known device used to compensate for short-term fluctuations in the delivery quantity of the feed yarn. The dancer arm consists of a yarn guide, a lever, and a spring. The lever is pivotally mounted in a housing, with a first lever arm on one side of the pivot point and a second lever arm on the other side of the pivot point. The yarn guide, which changes the direction of the feed yarn, is held on the first lever arm.The spring is attached with its first end to the housing and with its second end to the second lever arm. When the feed yarn changes direction around the yarn guide, the lever pivots around the pivot point in a pulling direction of the feed yarn, with the spring counteracting this pivoting movement with an opposite pulling direction. If a change in yarn tension briefly results in the feed yarn pulling less on the yarn guide, the spring prevails and pivots the lever in its pulling direction, increasing the distance traveled by the feed yarn and thus maintaining tension in the feed yarn. The use of the first dancer arm results in only dampened fluctuations in the yarn tension in the downstream yarn tension sensor, thus achieving reliable measurement of the yarn tension. Yarn tension sensors are available in various designs from the state of the art; bending beam sensors are suitable, for example.
[0012] Suitable delivery systems are known from the prior art; for example, the delivery system consists of a driven roller and a guide roller arranged interlaced with the driven roller. The guide roller can be rotatable or non-rotatably mounted. The feed yarn wraps around the driven roller and the guide roller several times, for example, seven times. This multiple wrap creates a sufficiently high coefficient of friction between a roller surface and the feed yarn, allowing the feed yarn to be conveyed through the delivery system.
[0013] The flushing device is designed in a manner known from the prior art. It comprises at least one bobbin bearing mounted on a pivoting arm for rotatably supporting the bobbin tube, a support roller for supporting the bobbin, and a traversing mechanism for moving the yarn along a bobbin axis. The flushing device or the bobbin tube can be driven directly via the bobbin tube holder or, alternatively, by a drive of the support roller. The support roller can be designed as a smooth roller or, alternatively, as a grooved drum. The grooved drum represents a combination of a support roller and a traversing mechanism. Alternative traversing mechanisms to a grooved drum include, for example, a wing traversing mechanism or a belt traversing mechanism.
[0014] Advantageously, the drive of the take-off thread guide is connected to the take-off thread guide via a gear and a wing, wherein the gear is mounted below the bobbin dome and a wing provides for concentric rotation of the take-off thread guide around the bobbin dome axis. The take-off thread guide is attached to an arm arranged in the direction of the bobbin dome axis and parallel to the bobbin dome axis. The arm is held in the machine frame below the feed yarn in an element, for example a lever or a disc, which is mounted so as to be rotatable about the bobbin dome axis. The element is connected to a drive such as an electric motor via a gear, for example a belt drive. By arranging the gear in the machine frame below the bobbin dome, the gear is protected from contamination and a simple design of the take-off thread guide is possible.
[0015] According to an embodiment of the invention that is advantageous for certain applications, the bobbin mandrel is mounted on a first end face in the machine frame, and the take-off thread guide is connected to the drive of the take-off thread guide via a wing that is arranged at a distance from the bobbin mandrel axis and can rotate about the bobbin mandrel axis, wherein the wing is connected to the machine frame in the region of a second end face of the bobbin mandrel facing away from the machine frame. Such embodiments make it easier to adjust the radial distance between the bobbin mandrel and the take-off thread guide, even after a feed bobbin has been placed on the bobbin mandrel. A guide bobbin for receiving the feed yarn is preferably provided on the bobbin mandrel. The guide bobbin serves to arrange, for example, a feed yarn that is in the form of a loop-like structure without an inner core around the bobbin mandrel.Such structures of feed yarns are known, for example, from the production of viscose yarns. In the production of viscose yarns, no bobbins are formed; instead, the yarn is laid down on a flat surface in simple circular movements. These coreless bobbin structures can then be placed around a guide bobbin and formed into a bobbin using the proposed device.
[0016] Advantageously, a first thread guide is arranged in front of the first dancer arm. The rotating movement of the take-off thread guide results in a constantly changing direction from which the feed yarn reaches the first dancer arm. This situation is remedied by the first thread guide, which standardizes and thus stabilizes the yarn path to the first dancer arm.
[0017] It is also advantageous to provide a second dancer arm and a second thread tension sensor between the delivery mechanism and the winding device. Depending on the design of the winding device and the package shapes produced by the winding device, fluctuations in the yarn speed running onto the package can occur. For example, with a simple traverse of the yarn, the yarn running onto the package briefly stops at the reversal points at each end of the package. This becomes more noticeable when producing conical packages. By using the second dancer arm, these fluctuations do not affect the yarn tension and therefore the quality of the package being produced.
[0018] Preferably, a second thread guide is arranged in front of the second dancer arm. The arrangement of a second thread guide allows for an increase in the wrap angle of the thread guide of the second dancer arm, regardless of the arrangement of the delivery mechanism. The higher the wrap angle of the thread guide of the second dancer arm, the more efficiently short-term changes in the yarn path are compensated for by the movements of the dancer arm.
[0019] The flushing device advantageously has a support roller for supporting the winding tube with a support roller axis, wherein the support roller is provided in two parts in the direction of the support roller axis. Particularly when producing conical precision cross-wound bobbins on known flushing devices, so-called "debris" repeatedly occur at the bobbin end with the larger diameter, i.e., threads that are pushed off the relevant bobbin edge. Likewise, a very poor bobbin build with an irregular, bead-like winding pattern often results. This is due to the fact that the support roller, which extends over the entire length of the bobbin and rests against the bobbin shell, follows a significantly lower peripheral speed of the bobbin shell part with the smaller diameter.Thus, the support roller, which runs too slowly compared to the peripheral speed of the bobbin in the area of its larger diameter, inevitably rubs and grinds against the bobbin surface in the area of the larger bobbin diameter, which pushes the yarn running up over the bobbin edge or pushes the yarn further inside over one another. A two-part support roller, as already proposed in CH 530 333, provides a remedy for this. Preferably, the two parts of the support roller are connected by a spring, so that the two parts are pressed against each other in the direction of the support roller axis. The two parts of the support roller can be easily pushed apart manually if necessary, for example, for cleaning purposes.
[0020] Preferably, the guide bobbin is formed from a fabric-wrapped empty bobbin, onto which the feed yarn is loosely placed. The fabric support on the guide bobbin prevents the entire feed yarn structure from rotating around the bobbin dome due to the tension caused by the take-off yarn guide. A higher coefficient of friction results between the fabric support and the feed yarn than between the individual thread of the feed yarn and the feed yarn structure. Using a fabric-wrapped empty bobbin as a guide bobbin improves the take-off behavior, particularly with feed yarns with a smooth surface.
[0021] Preferably, an oiler is provided upstream of the delivery unit. If oiling of the feed yarn is required before winding due to the subsequent processing steps of the wound yarn, it is preferable to install an oiler upstream of the delivery unit, as this is the point at which the feed yarn moves most evenly during the rewinding process. Various state-of-the-art designs are possible for the oiler, for example, applying the oil via a drum rotating in an oil bath or via an oil-supplied brush.Furthermore, a method for rewinding a feed yarn onto a bobbin tube to form a bobbin is proposed, comprising a device having a control system and a machine frame, wherein the machine frame contains a rotationally fixed bobbin mandrel with a bobbin mandrel axis for receiving the feed yarn, a first dancer arm, a first thread tension sensor for measuring yarn tension, a delivery mechanism, and a rinsing device. A take-off thread guide is arranged at a radial distance from the bobbin mandrel axis and is driven to rotate about the bobbin mandrel axis. The control system regulates the rotational speed of the take-off thread guide about the bobbin mandrel axis based on the yarn tension measured by the first thread tension sensor.The rotational speed of the take-off yarn guide around the bobbin dome axis determines, via the radial distance of the take-off yarn guide from the bobbin dome axis, the circumferential speed of the take-off yarn guide, which corresponds to the take-off speed of the feed yarn. By controlling this take-off speed, a constant yarn tension can be maintained in front of the delivery system, even if the feed yarn is wound irregularly.
[0022] Advantageously, a second yarn tension sensor is provided between the delivery mechanism and the rinsing device, and the rotational speed of the delivery mechanism is regulated by the control system based on the yarn tension measured by the second yarn tension sensor. This control prevents or corrects fluctuations in the yarn tension upstream of the rinsing device. A uniform and constant yarn tension when the yarn enters the rinsing device is a necessary prerequisite for forming a package with uniform density and high quality.
[0023] Preferably, the control system maintains a constant winding speed of the winding device. A constant winding speed facilitates easier control of the yarn tension between the delivery mechanism and the winding device, and thus also between the take-off thread guide and the delivery mechanism. A change in the winding speed complicates the control of the yarn tension, as a further control variable is introduced into the system in addition to the yarn tension itself. Advantageously, in threading mode or in a stop state, the control system causes the take-off thread guide to rotate around the bobbin mandrel axis as soon as a yarn tension is measured at the first thread tension sensor.
[0024] This creates a threading aid that prevents thread breaks during threading the yarn. It has been shown that thread breaks during threading can be largely avoided if, in threading mode, the take-off thread guide rotates around the bobbin mandrel axis at a speed of 1 to 200 revolutions per minute. The feed yarn can be manually removed from the feed bobbin during the threading process and threaded into the various elements without first manually unwinding the required amount of feed yarn from the feed bobbin or manually rotating the take-off thread guide around the feed bobbin.
[0025] In a further development of the process, in the event of a yarn break, the winding device and the take-off thread guide are stopped and an alarm is issued by the control system. The first dancer arm is equipped with a yarn break sensor. The yarn break sensor detects a missing yarn, which can be used to determine whether a yarn break has occurred. The yarn break sensor is designed, for example, as a light barrier. Alternatively, measuring the movement of the dancer arm is also conceivable, because a lack of yarn tension causes the lever of the dancer arm to be moved by the spring into an end position, which can be detected by an electrical contact or an inductive sensor. By shutting down the rinsing and yarn take-off, damage to the components caused by flung yarn ends as well as damage to the yarn on the bobbin and the feed yarn on the bobbin mandrel is avoided.
[0026] The present invention is not limited to devices with vertically arranged spool mandrels or spool mandrel axes, but can also be used for devices for rewinding spool mandrels or spool mandrel axes arranged horizontally, for example. Furthermore, a dishwasher with a device according to the above description is proposed.
[0027] Further advantages of the invention are described in the following exemplary embodiment. They show:
[0028] Figure 1 is a schematic view of a prior art dishwasher;
[0029] Figure 2 is a schematic view of a first embodiment of a device according to the invention;
[0030] Figure 3 is a schematic view of a second embodiment of a device according to the invention and
[0031] Figure 4 is a schematic view of a third embodiment of a device according to the invention.
[0032] Figure 1 shows a schematic view of a prior art rinsing machine. It shows a winding station used to rewind yarn 3 from a supply spool 17 onto a spool 2. A rinsing machine can comprise several such winding stations. A machine frame 22 is mounted on a foundation 21. Held in the machine frame 22 is a rinsing device 1 for winding yarn 3 and forming a spool 2. The yarn 3 is taken as supply yarn 18 from a supply spool 17 and fed in a yarn running direction 4 to the winding device 1. The supply spool 17 is designed as a spincake, with the supply yarn 8 being wound on a wire frame arranged centrally around an axis. In this case, the wire frame represents the supply spool 17, or together with the pre-winding yarn, the spincake, which is held on a spool mandrel 19. The winding device 1 comprises a spool axis 8 in which a spool sleeve 5 is rotatably held.The bobbin tube 5 is rotated in a direction of rotation 6 by a drive (not shown), whereby the yarn 3 is wound onto the bobbin tube 5 and the bobbin 2 is formed. The bobbin axis 8 is held in a pivot arm 7. The pivot arm 7 is held in the machine frame 22 so that it can rotate about a pivot axis 9 via a support 11, so that the pivot arm 7 can perform a pivoting movement 10 about the pivot axis 9. During a rinsing process, the bobbin 2, or at the beginning of bobbin formation, the bobbin tube 5, rests on a support roller 12. The support roller 12 is held in a support 14 with a support roller axis 13, likewise rotatable, in the machine frame 22. The support roller 12 is set in rotation in a direction of rotation (indicated by an arrow) by the bobbin 2 rotating in the direction of rotation 6 and resting on the support roller 12.During a rinsing process, a diameter of the coil 2 increases continuously and a distance between the coil axis 8 and the support roller 12 is compensated accordingly by the pivoting movement 10 via the pivoting arm 7.
[0033] The feed yarn 18 coming from the feed bobbin 17 or the spin cake is guided, as seen in the yarn running direction 4, after the feed bobbin 17 over a yarn brake 16 and then through a traversing mechanism 15 before it reaches the support roller 12 and is wound onto the bobbin tube 5. The traversing mechanism 15 serves to move the yarn 3 back and forth parallel to a surface of the bobbin 2 in the direction of the bobbin axis 8 in order to achieve uniform winding or a predetermined winding characteristic. The feed bobbin 17 is held on a bobbin mandrel 19, wherein the bobbin mandrel 19 is fastened in the machine frame 26. The bobbin mandrel 19 or the feed bobbin 17 is rotatably mounted in the form shown, so that rotation (indicated by the arrow) about the bobbin mandrel axis 20 is possible.
[0034] Figure 2 shows a schematic view of a first embodiment of a device according to the invention. The illustration shows a machine frame 22 mounted on a foundation 21. Two winding stations are shown by way of example in the machine frame 22. Each winding station has a flushing device 1 and the elements necessary for guiding a feed yarn 18 to the flushing device 1, which are correspondingly held in the machine frame 22. A yarn 3 is conveyed through the winding device in a yarn running direction 4. A feed yarn 18 prepared for flushing is shown on a bobbin mandrel 19 held in the machine frame 22. The feed yarn 18 is arranged in the form of a winding around a bobbin mandrel axis 20. The feed yarn 18 is taken off the bobbin mandrel 19 by a take-off yarn guide 28 and subsequently guided via a first dancer arm 24 and a downstream first yarn tension sensor 25 to a delivery mechanism 27.The delivery mechanism 27 is provided with a drive (not shown) and draws the feed yarn 18 from the bobbin mandrel 19 over the first dancer arm 24 and the first thread tension sensor 25. The take-off thread guide 28 is held on a wing 30. The wing 30, which is arranged at a radial distance 29 from the bobbin mandrel axis 20, is connected to a gear 32. Via the gear 32, the wing 30 and thus the take-off thread guide 28 are set into rotation about the bobbin mandrel axis 20 by a drive 31. In order to achieve a uniform thread tension on the delivery mechanism, the thread tension measured by the first thread tension sensor 25 is used as a controlled variable 37 for controlling the drive 31 of the take-off thread guide 28 and thus its peripheral speed around the bobbin mandrel axis 20.
[0035] Figure 3 shows a schematic view of a second embodiment of a device according to the invention. A description of the device parts identical to the first embodiment will be omitted below. In addition to the first embodiment according to Figure 2, a guide bobbin 39 is provided for arranging the feed yarn 18 on the bobbin mandrel 19, which results in an improvement in preventing loops from forming when the feed yarn 18 is drawn off. Furthermore, a second dancer arm 34 and a second thread tension sensor 35 are provided between the feed mechanism 27 and the winding device 1. These serve to compensate for a brief change in the winding speed occurring at the ends of the bobbin due to the reversal of the traversing. For this purpose, the thread tension measured by the second thread tension sensor is used as the controlled variable 38 for the drive 36 of the feed mechanism.Also, in contrast to the first embodiment, a first thread guide 23 is provided between the take-off thread guide 28 and the first dancer arm 24. The first thread guide 23 achieves increased deflection of the feed yarn around the first dancer arm 24, which subsequently contributes to an improved compensation of fluctuations in the thread tension.
[0036] Figure 4 shows a schematic view of a third embodiment of a device according to the invention. A description of the device parts identical to the first and second embodiments will be omitted below. In addition to the second embodiment according to Figure 3, a vulture 26 is provided between the first yarn tension sensor 25 and the feed mechanism 27. The vulture 26 applies an oil film to the moving roving 18. Likewise, in contrast to the second embodiment, a second yarn guide 33 is provided between the feed mechanism 27 and the second dancer arm 34. The second yarn guide 33 achieves increased deflection of the feed yarn around the second dancer arm 34, which subsequently contributes to improved compensation of fluctuations in the yarn tension.
[0037] The present invention is not limited to the illustrated and described embodiments. Modifications within the scope of the patent claims are possible, as are combinations of features, even if they are illustrated and described in different embodiments.
