[0009] It should first be noted that the terms "first", "second", "third", ... are only used to distinguish the components concerned from each other and do not imply any order or possible importance of said components.
[0010] As illustrated in the figure 1 The invention relates to a housing. Its applications include, for example, in a motor vehicle as a compressor for a refrigerant fluid in a vehicle temperature control system, such as for a vehicle passenger compartment, and / or for vehicle components, such as an electrical energy storage device, an electric motor, and / or an electronic control device for said electric motor. For this purpose, the housing accommodates an electric motor and a compression system driven by said motor.
[0011] The said housing comprises first and second parts 2 and 4, which together define a first compartment, not visible in this figure. Here, the first part 2 forms the body of the housing and the second part 4 forms a lid of said housing.
[0012] In the intended application, the housing, for example, the body, advantageously includes a second compartment 6 for housing the electric motor and / or the compression system, not shown. The body further includes inlet / outlet tubes 7 for the refrigerant intended to enter the second compartment 6 at low pressure and exit it at high pressure. The second compartment 6 is intended to be closed by another cover, not shown, of the housing.
[0013] As illustrated in the figure 2 , said first piece 2 includes an edge 20 peripherally delimiting said first housing, marked 10 and this time visible, the cover having been removed in this figure.
[0014] The said housing further includes a plate 8. Said plate 8 is disposed in said first housing 10. Said plate 8 is formed, for example, of a printed circuit board bearing various electronic components used, in particular, for controlling the drive motor located in said second housing 6. A bottom of the first housing 10 advantageously forms a partition separating the first and second housings 6, 10. Said second housing 6 is preferably configured so that the refrigerant circulating in said second housing 6 is in contact with said partition, which allows at least part of the heat released by said electronic components located in said first housing 10 to be evacuated.
[0015] The said housing further includes a sealing gasket 12, located between the said first and second parts 2, 4, to ensure a watertight closure of the said first housing 10. The said gasket 12 includes, for example, a metal core coated at least partially with an elastomeric material.
[0016] As illustrated in the figure 3 said housing includes one or more supports 14 for retaining said plate 8. The said retaining support(s) 14 are arranged in said first housing 10.
[0017] If we refer again to the figure 2 , it is noted that, according to the invention, said sealing joint 12 comprises one or more protrusions 22, here two, directed towards the interior of the first housing 10. In addition, said protrusion or protrusions 22 press on said plate 8 at the level of a contour 24 of said plate 8 to apply said plate 8 onto said retaining supports 14.
[0018] Thanks to the aforementioned protrusions 22, the retention of plate 8 is reinforced, which limits the risk of vibration of the free edges of plate 8 without requiring multiple specific plate fastening elements, such as screws or rivets. Furthermore, by pressing on the contour 24 of plate 8, the protrusions 22 present a limited surface area. Indeed, it is understood that the aforementioned support(s) 14 are located along the contour 24 of plate 8.
[0019] Advantageously, the contour 24 of the plate 8 is free over at least part of said contour 24, in particular at the level of said protrusions 22. Here, the contour 24 of the plate 8 is free over its entirety and / or fits a wall 28 of said first housing 10, with a slight play.
[0020] As illustrated in the figure 3 , the said protrusions 22 bear on said plate 8 and said plate 8 bears on the support(s) 14 in respective support areas.
[0021] Preferably, the bearing area(s) of plate 8 on the support(s) 14 and the bearing area(s) of the protrusions 22 on plate 8 are located directly above each other. Plate 8 is thus sandwiched between said protrusions 22 and the support(s) 14.
[0022] In the illustrated embodiment, the housing includes one or more mounting brackets 14' for the plate 8. The mounting bracket(s) 14' are located, in particular, along the contour 24 of the plate 8. The housing includes, for example, first fastening elements 26 for the plate 8, such as a screw, cooperating with the mounting bracket(s) 14'. The plate 8 includes first openings 30 for the passage of the first fastening elements 26.
[0023] The support(s) 14, 14' are here linked to the first part 2, notably formed from the material of said part 2. The support(s) 14, 14' include, for example, a pin 16, 16' having a vertex 18, 18' in contact with the plate 8. The vertex 18 of the pin 16 of the support(s) 14 forms the bearing area of the plate 8 against the support(s). The pin 18' of the mounting support(s) 14' includes first bores 32 cooperating with the first mounting elements 26.
[0024] Alternatively, and not shown, the said mounting bracket(s) 14' comprise a pin and a nut, bearing against said pin. Said nut is in contact with said plate. In other words, said plate bears against said nut. Said nut cooperates with said plate fastening elements 8.
[0025] Preferably, the said support bracket(s) 14 and the said fixing bracket(s) 14' are located at a distance from each other.
[0026] It is understood that the first and second pieces 2, 4 are fixed to each other by sandwiching said joint 12 but, except locally, not said plate 8 whose contour 24, as already said, remains preferentially free.
[0027] As this is more visible to the figure 4 , the said protrusions 22 include one or more bosses 34 for contact with said plate 8. Said bosses 34 facilitate the support of said plate 8 against the retaining support(s) 14.
[0028] The joint 12 has an annular portion 36, intended to be sandwiched between the first and second parts 2 and 4. The protrusions 34 are located substantially in the same plane P as the annular portion 36, referred to as the joint plane. The bosses 34 extend outward, notably perpendicularly, from the joint plane and have a summit intended to bear against the plate 8. The summit of the bosses 34 forms the bearing surface of the joint 12 against the plate 8.
[0029] This is illustrated in the figure 3 where it is observed that the plate 8 is located in a plane P' parallel to the plane of the joint, called the plane of the plate. Said plane P of the joint and said plane P' of the plate are slightly offset from each other in the direction perpendicular to said planes, by a distance corresponding to a height of said bosses 34.
[0030] The said plate 8 here comprises two large faces 52, 52' opposed to each other. The said joint 12, in particular the said bosses 34, are supported against the said plate 8 by a first 52 of the said large faces and the other 52', said second, of the said large faces is supported against the said retaining support 14 and / or fixing support 14, 14'.
[0031] Advantageously, said housing further includes one or more lugs 40 for positioning said seal 12 and / or said plate 8. Said seal 12 and / or said plate 8 include openings 42, 44 for the passage of the lug(s) 40.
[0032] Even more advantageously, the passage lights 42 for the seal 12 and the passage lights 44 for the plate 8 are aligned in pairs so that the same lugs 40 allow positioning of the seal 12 and the plate 8. During assembly, it is therefore possible to position both the plate 8 and the seal 12 using the same lug(s) 40.
[0033] The passage opening(s) 42 of said seal 12 are preferably located at the level of the or at least one of said protrusions 22, referred to as the mounting protrusion. In other words, the said lug(s) pass through said seal 12 at the level of said protrusion(s) 12. The said lug(s) 40 are positioned in specific bores 46 formed in the retaining support(s) 14.
[0034] According to the illustrated embodiment, said cover includes a peripheral skirt 60 intended to form a compression foot of the seal 12 and / or a point thickness of material 62, to accommodate said lug 40 at an end of said lug 40 opposite to that cooperating with the corresponding retaining support 14.
[0035] If we refer again to the figure 4 It can be seen that the illustrated protrusion 22 is one of the aforementioned mounting protrusions. Indeed, it presents one of the openings 42 of the joint 12. The said mounting protrusion has a free edge 48 with a peak 50. The opening 42 of the joint 12, present at the level of the said mounting protrusion, is located near the peak 50. The two bosses 34 are located along the free edge 48 on either side of the corresponding opening 42 of the joint 12, at the level of the said mounting protrusion.
[0036] Furthermore, here, the said housing includes secondary fastening elements, not shown, for the said cover on the said body. The said body includes secondary bores cooperating with said secondary fastening elements. The said cover includes secondary passageways for said secondary fastening elements.
[0037] As illustrated in the figure 2, Said joint 12 includes third orifices 70 for the passage of said second fixing members.
[0038] Some or at least some of the said second and third passage orifices, or even all of them, are aligned in pairs with one of the said second bores so as to leave a passage for one of the said second fixing members.
[0039] From this figure, we can see that the said protrusions 22 are two in number, arranged oppositely on either side of the said plate 8. The said fixing members 26 are also two in number, respectively located near one of the said protrusions 22.
