Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a sports racket, as well as to a set for practicing a racket sport comprising such a racket.
[0002] It is known that a sports racket comprises a frame, a handle and a string formed by a string stretched between the frame when stringing the sports racket. To ensure the stringing of the sports racket, openings and a groove are provided in the frame so that the string can pass through the frame and be housed in the groove.
[0003] However, the presence of the openings and the groove form irregularities in the outer wall of the frame. These irregularities promote the formation of turbulence in the airflow around the racket as it moves. This turbulence can contribute to slowing the racket as it moves.
[0004] It is known from GB201108441A to use caps that are clipped into eyelet assemblies, mounted on the frame, to improve the aerodynamics of the racket. However, removing the caps installed on the eyelet assemblies requires unstringing the racket. Thus, installing the caps on the racket prevents string adjustment. [0006] The aim of the invention is then to propose a finishing rod making it possible to improve the aerodynamics of the sports racket, without increasing the size of the racket, and making it possible to easily adjust the stringing, while avoiding having multiple types of finishing parts.
[0007] To this end, the invention relates to a racket comprising: a handle a racket element comprising: ∘ a frame whose cross-section defines an envelope; ∘ a set of string guide eyelets resting against an outer wall of the frame; a set of strings defining a screen, the strings locally passing through the frame while being guided by the set of guide eyelets; at least one finishing rod, mounted on the racket element opposite the set of eyelets and comprising an external surface which is flush with an external surface of an outer wall of the racket element to form an external surface of the sports racket, continuous and inscribed in the external envelope of the cross-section of the frame, at any point along the finishing rod. Thanks to the invention, in particular thanks to the finishing rod, the sports racket has an outer wall with a convex and continuous external surface, improving the aerodynamics of the racket. The continuity of the external surface ensures better penetration of the racket in the air and therefore better movement of the racket in the air. In addition, the convex external surface makes it possible to limit the generation of turbulence around the racket during its movement in the air. Thus the speed of movement of the head of the racket is increased, which makes it possible to give more rotation and / or speed to the ball.

The sports racket 2 comprises at least one finishing stick 4. Claims
1. Sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) comprising: - a handle (3) - a racket element (5; 105) comprising: ∘ a frame (7) having a cross-section defining an outer casing (E7), the frame (7) comprising an inner wall (17), defining an outer surface (S17), an outer wall (19), defining an outer surface (S19), the frame (7) comprising a groove (23) formed in the outer wall (19), the outer casing (E7) merging with the outer surfaces (S17) and (S19) of the inner wall (17) and the outer wall (19) and extending, at the junction between the outer surface (S19) and the groove (23), towards a main plane (P) following a tangent from the outer surface (S19) to the junction point between the outer surface (S19) and the groove (23); and ∘ a set of eyelets (9; 109; 209; 309) for guiding the rope (43) bearing against the groove (23) of the outer wall (19) of the frame (7);- a set of ropes (43) defining a screen, the ropes (43) locally passing through the frame (7) while being guided by the set of guide eyelets (9; 109; 209; 309); ; characterized in that the sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) comprises at least one finishing rod (4; 204; 304), mounted on the racket element (5) opposite the set of eyelets (9; 109; 209; 309) and comprising an external surface (S47, S247) which is flush with an external surface (S19, S106) of an outer wall (6; 106) of the racket element (5; 105) to form an external surface (S61; S161) of the sports racket (2; 102; 202, 302), continuously derivable and inscribed in the external envelope (E7) of the cross-section of the frame, at any point along the finishing rod.

Sports racket (2; 102) according to the preceding claim in which the finishing rod (4) comprises two tabs (49; 149) configured to be inserted into a groove (23; 171) of the sports racket (2; 102), so as to slide the finishing rod (4) into the groove (23; 171), the set of eyelets (9; 109) being in place in the groove (23).
3. Sports racket (2) according to the preceding claim in which - the finishing strip (4) completely covers the set of guide eyelets (9); - the frame (7) forms the groove (23) in which the finishing strip (4) is slidably mounted; - the set of eyelets (9) forms a stop against the movement of the finishing strip (4) in a radial direction (R); and - the external surface (S47) of the finishing strip (4) is flush with the external surface (S19) of the outer wall (19) of the frame (7).
4. Sports racket (102) according to claim 2 wherein: - the set of guide eyelets (109) comprises an outer wall (173) of which an outer surface (S173) is flush with the outer surface (S19) of the outer wall (19) of the frame (7) so as to form an outer surface (S106) of an outer wall (106) of the racket element (105); - the set of guide eyelets (109) forms the groove (171) in which the finishing rod (4) is slidably mounted; and - the outer surface (S47) of the finishing rod (4) is flush with the outer surface (S173) of the outer wall (173) of the set of guide eyelets (109).

Sports racket (202; 302) according to claim 1 wherein: - the finishing rod (204; 304) comprises protrusions (280; 390), - the set of eyelets (209; 309) comprises housings (282; 392) configured to respectively receive a protrusion (280; 390) of the finishing rod (204; 304), and - the finishing rod (204; 304) is configured to be mounted on the set of eyelets (209; 309) by clipping the protrusions (280; 390) into the housings (282; 392).
6. Sports racket (202) according to claim 5 wherein: - the protrusions (280) are distributed along the finishing strip (204) and extend perpendicular to an outer wall (47) of the finishing strip (204) in a direction opposite to the outer surface (S247), and - the housings (282) pass through the set of eyelets (209) parallel to eyelets (31) of the set of eyelets (209).
7. Sports racket (302) according to claim 5 wherein: - the finishing rod (304) comprises tabs (349) forming two rows and delimiting a volume (51), each of the tabs (349) comprising a protuberance (390) which extends into the volume (51) perpendicular to the associated tab (349), and - the housings (392) extend projecting from the set of eyelets (309) perpendicular to eyelets (31) of the set of eyelets (309).
8. Sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) according to any one of the preceding claims comprising a further set of string guide eyelets (63) mounted on the frame (7) and covering a portion of the outer wall (19) of the frame (7) and in that the sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) comprises a further finishing strip (70) of which an outer surface (S70) is flush with the outer surface (S65A, S65B) of an outer wall (65) of the other set of eyelets (63) and which is slidably mounted in a groove (67) of the other set of guide eyelets (63).
9. Sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) according to the preceding claim in which one end (69) of the other finishing rod (70) is configured to be slidably mounted in the groove (67) of the other set of guide eyelets (63), the other set of eyelets (63) being in place in the groove (23).
10. Sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) according to the preceding claim in which - a width of the groove (23) of the frame (7) is greater than the width of the groove (67) of the other set of guide eyelets (63), - a width of the finishing rod (4; 204; 304) is narrowed at the end (69) of the finishing rod (4).
11. Sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) according to any one of the preceding claims in which the set of guide eyelets (9; 109; 209; 309) is a part independent of the frame (7), attached to the groove (23; 171) of the frame (7).
12. Sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) according to any one of the preceding claims in which the frame (7) and the set of guide eyelets (9; 109; 209; 309) are in one piece.
13. Set (1) for practicing a racket sport comprising a sports racket (2; 102; 202; 302) according to any one of the preceding claims in which the finishing rod (4; 204; 304) is selected from several finishing rods (4, 4', 4") of different properties, which also belong to the set (1) for practicing racket sport.
