[0002] The invention relates to the field of pond covers, in particular swimming pool covers. More particularly, the invention relates to a kit for forming a pond cover, to a cover mounted with this kit and to an accessory for a pond cover.

[0003] Swimming pools, especially private ones, are equipped with protective devices that prevent people from accidentally falling into the pool when the pool is not in use, or at least reduce the risk of dramatic consequences if such a fall were to occur. These devices also aim to prohibit unaccompanied access to the pool by children. These protective devices may be made mandatory, particularly by laws. They may be subject to standards.
