The invention relates to a facial recognition anti-theft device provided with a removable shifter and a steering wheel that can also be removed and retracted for storage. The present invention relates to an anti-theft device consisting of a shifter (1) and a steering wheel (6), both of which can be removed by means of the ball pins (4) and (10) thereof and both of which are provided with an electronic chip (3) and (9) connected to an identifcation unit (8). This unit is provided with a secure facial recognition system for the user. The driver enters the vehicle with the removable electronic unit (8), the steering wheel (6) and the shifter (1). The driver clips the shifter (1) into place before the steering wheel (6) and then proceeds to clip the electronic unit (8) onto the steering wheel (6). The connections present on the electronic unit (8) and on the base (7) enable the electronic unit (8) to be supplied with power, which thereby alerts the wireless link to identify the chip (3) of the gear lever (1) and the chip (9) of the steering wheel (6). Once the elements (1) and (6) have been identified, the driver then has to be identified by means of facial recognition. [0015] As shown in the figures, the device comprises a gear selector (1) which is removable by its ball locking pin type attachment (4) and paired by its electronic chip (3) in wireless connection to the electronic box (8) present on the steering wheel (6) which is similar in size to a current mobile phone. For safety reasons, the gear selector (1) is equipped with a small sliding flap system (2) to prevent accidental pressing on the unlocking pin (4) during use of the vehicle. This small sliding flap (2) also prevents the introduction of impurities which could prevent the lever from being dismantled.

Claims

Claims 1. Anti-theft device for a motor vehicle comprising a gear selector (1) and a steering wheel (6) which are both removable, characterized in that it comprises a removable gear selector (1) by its coupling and uncoupling system (4) from its gear control box (5), a removable steering wheel (6) by the attachment and uncoupling (10) of the steering column (17), its electronic box (8) integrating facial recognition which is clipped onto its support (7) allowing the wireless connection of the gear lever (1) and the steering wheel (6) thanks to their electronic chips (3) and (9), when it is desired to authorize or prevent the use of said device.

2. Anti-theft device for a motor vehicle according to claim 1 characterized in that said elements (1) and (6) are removable by virtue of their coupling and uncoupling systems (4) and (10), as well as the electronic box (8) which is itself removable from its support (7) integrated into the removable steering wheel (6).

Anti-theft device for a motor vehicle according to claim 1 and 2 characterized in that said elements (4) and (10) allow their correct locking in the shoulders present on the gear control box and the steering column (17) belonging to the vehicle, authorizing the correct connection of the gear selector (1) and the steering wheel (6), the latter allowing the connection of the rotating collector type connector (11) and (14) which transmits the power supply to the electronic box (8).

4. Anti-theft device for a motor vehicle according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said removable elements (1) and (6) are each equipped with an electronic chip (3) and (9) connected by wireless technology for pairing to the electronic box (8).

5. Anti-theft device for a motor vehicle according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said removable gear selector (1) engages on the gear control box (5). The removable steering wheel (6) is inserted into the steering column (17), for its engagement there are male (12) and female (15) splines as well as its slotted magnet (13) and (16) for positioning security which contributes to the contact of the electronic connector (11) and (14) which allows the power supply and the exchange of information between the vehicle's computer and the electronic box (8). This electronic box (8) is equipped with a facial recognition system which occurs after the pairing of the gear selector (1) and the steering wheel (6).

6. Anti-theft device for a motor vehicle composed of a steering wheel (6) with its electronic box (8) and a gear selector (1) for managing the gear change according to any one of the preceding claims makes it possible to secure a vehicle against theft by allowing the complete removal of its gear selector (1) by means of a pressure on the ball pin (4) linked to its control box (5) and its steering wheel (6) connected to its steering column (17) which is released thanks to the actuation of the pin (10) to which one has access after having unclipped the electronic box (8) from its support (7).

7. Motor vehicle characterized in that it comprises the device claimed according to one of claims 1 to 6.
