In the former case, numerous techniques exist for renovating old staircases, the diversity of solutions stemming primarily from the choice of materials used: the most commonly used are tiles, natural stone, solid wood, CPL and HPL laminates, wood composite panels, and composite materials based on plastic, glass, etc.Renovations based on concrete plaster, stair carpets, or requiring the application of paints, fine sandblasting, or the installation of various types of coverings such as linoleum, cork, or resins, for example, giving the steps the appearance of tumbled marble, are also quite common.
