[0018] Fig. 1 is a sectional view of an air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention.DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0019] Embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below, and examples of the embodiments are shown in the accompanying drawings. The embodiments described below with reference to the accompanying drawings are illustrative and are intended to explain the present invention, but should not be understood as limitations of the present invention.
[0020] Air conditioners with lower air intake and upper air discharge are favored by users because of their advantages of providing uniform temperature distribution and improving the comfort of the overall environment. A water collection pan in the air conditioner is located below an evaporator and above an air intake hole, and an air intake grille is usually mounted in the air intake hole to ensure the structural strength of a middle frame at the air intake hole. In order to ensure that the air intake hole has a large enough air intake area, the air intake grille usually has a grille hole with a large area, but this arrangement has the defect that fingers may easily pass through the grille hole and touch electrical devices, which does not meet the requirements of safety regulations.
[0021] In order to address the above problem, embodiments of the present invention provide an air intake assembly and an air conditioner.
[0022] In the following, an air intake assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 1.
[0023] The air intake assembly of the embodiments of the present invention includes an indoor unit body and a grille compartment. The indoor unit body has an air supply channel 2 and an air intake hole 121 in communication with each other, the air intake hole 121 is located below the air supply channel 2, and the air supply channel 2 is configured to arrange an evaporator 6 and an electric device therein. The grille compartment is mounted in the air intake hole 121, and has a plurality of grille holes 32 arranged at intervals along a width direction (a front-rear direction in Fig. 1) of the indoor unit body. A width of the grille hole 32 below a region where the electrical device is located in the air supply channel 2 is smaller than widths of rest grille holes 32.
[0024] According to the air intake assembly of the embodiments of the present invention, by reducing the width of the grille hole 32 located below the region where the electrical device is located in the air supply channel 2, fingers of a user may be prevented from extending into the air supply channel 2 from the grille hole 32 and touching the electrical device in the air supply channel 2, thereby effectively reducing the risk of electric shock of the user and effectively improving the use safety of the air conditioner. Moreover, the widths of the grille holes 32 below the rest region of the air supply channel 2 is larger than the width of the above grille hole 32 where the electrical device is located, thereby effectively increasing the air intake area at the air intake hole 121 and effectively improving the air supply efficiency of the air conditioner.
[0025] It should be noted that the grille hole 32 is generally a rectangular hole, and a width direction of the grille hole 32 is a front-rear direction of the air conditioner. The electrical device includes a stepping motor and a display panel mounted on the front panel 11.
[0026] In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 1, the air supply channel 2 includes a first channel 21 and a second channel 22, and the first channel 21 and the second channel 22 are arranged on two opposite sides of the evaporator 6 in the width direction of the indoor unit body, respectively. The first channel 21 is configured to arrange an electrical device connected with the indoor unit body, and the width of the grille hole 32 located below the first channel 21 is smaller than the width of the grille hole 32 located below the second channel 22.
[0027] A distance between the electrical device located in the first channel 21 and the grille hole 32 in an up-down direction is relatively short. By reducing the width of the grille hole 32 located below the first channel 21, fingers of a worker may be prevented from passing through the grille hole 32 located below the first channel 21. Under the barrier of the evaporator 6, even if the fingers of the worker may pass through the grille hole 32 located below the second channel 22, they will not touch the electrical device located in the first channel 21 by mistake, thus ensuring the air intake area at the air intake hole 121 and further improving the use safety of the air conditioner. Specifically, the electrical device may also be mounted in the second channel 22, and the electrical device in the second channel 22 is higher than the electrical device in the first channel 22.
[0028] In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 1, the width of the grille hole 32 opposite to the first channel 21 in a height direction (the up-down direction in Fig. 1) of the indoor unit body is denoted a, and 6mm≤a≤12mm.
[0029] By setting the width of the grille hole 32 located below the first channel 21 to be greater than or equal to 6mm, it is effectively avoided that a too large area of the air intake hole 121 is occupied by a dense arrangement of ribs constituting the grille compartment, and the air intake area at the air intake hole 121 is effectively ensured. By setting the width of the grille hole 32 below the first channel 21 to be less than or equal to 12mm, the fingers may be effectively prevented from passing through the grille hole 32, or it may be effectively avoided that a length of a part of the finger passing through the grille hole 32 is over large to touch the electrical device, thus further ensuring the use safety of the air conditioner.
[0030] Specifically, the width of the grille hole 32 located below the first channel 21 may be 6mm, 9mm and 12mm.
[0031] In some embodiments, the grille assembly includes a finger guard grille 3, the finger guard grille 3 includes a plurality of first ribs 31 arranged at intervals along the width direction of the indoor unit body, and a distance between any two adjacent first ribs 31 is denoted as a.
[0032] The grille holes 32 of the grille compartment located below the first channel 21 are formed by the plurality of first ribs 31 of the finger guard grille 3. In this case, the whole finger guard grille 3 is arranged in a staggered manner with the second channel 22 in the front-rear direction, thereby avoiding the influence of the finger guard grille 3 on the air intake area of the air intake hole 121 due to the distribution of the finger guard grille 3 below the second channel 22.
[0033] Specifically, the plurality of first ribs 31 are arranged at equal intervals in the front-rear direction. The finger guard grille 3 further includes a transverse rib extending in a left-right direction of the air conditioner, and the transverse rib connects two adjacent first ribs 31, thus further effectively improving the structural strength of the finger guard grille 3.
[0034] In some embodiments, a maximum width of the first rib 31 is denoted as b, and 2mm≤b≤5mm.
[0035] On the one hand, this design avoids the poor strength and protection performance of the first rib 31 caused by the too small maximum width of the first rib 31, and on the other hand, it avoids the influence of the too large maximum width of the first rib 31 on the air intake area of the air intake hole 121 (that is, the too large maximum width of the first rib 31 blocks a too large area of the air intake hole 121), so that the air supply efficiency of the air conditioner is higher.
[0036] Specifically, as shown in Fig. 1, the maximum width of the first rib 31 may be 2mm, 4mm and 5mm.
[0037] In some embodiments, the width of the first rib 31 gradually increases from bottom to top.
[0038] With the maximum width of the first rib 31 is constant, on the one hand, this configuration further reduces a projection area of the first rib 31 on a projection plane perpendicular to the up-down direction, and the air intake area at the air intake hole 121 is ensured; on the other hand, when the air flow passes through the finger guard grille 3, the wind resistance to the air flow passing through the first rib 31 may be greatly reduced, so that the efficiency of the air flow forming vortices at the first rib 31 is lower, and the air supply efficiency of the air conditioner is higher.
[0039] Specifically, a bottom surface of the first rib 31 is an arc surface protruding downwards, and a projection of the first rib 31 on a projection plane perpendicular to the left-right direction of the air conditioner is a wedge with a wide top and a narrow bottom.
[0040] In some embodiments, a height of the first rib 31 is denoted as c, and 2mm≤c≤8mm.
[0041] By setting the height of the first rib 31 to be greater than or equal to 2mm, it may ensure the sufficient structural strength and the protection reliability of the first rib 31. By setting the height of the first rib 31 to be less than or equal to 8mm, it may effectively avoid that an upper surface of the first rib 31 is too close to a lowest point of a water collection pan 5, which otherwise will lead to the air flow being directly guided to a bottom surface of the water collection pan 5 by the finger guard grille 3 and increase the air intake resistance.
[0042] Specifically, the height of the first rib 31 may be 2mm, 5mm and 8mm.
[0043] In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 1, the first ribs 31 are located below the first channel 21, and the grille compartment further includes an air intake grille 4, the air intake grille 4 is detachably arranged in the air intake hole 121, and the air intake grille 4 includes a plurality of second ribs 41 arranged at intervals along the width direction of the indoor unit body. The number of the second ribs 41 is greater than the number of the first ribs 31, and the second ribs 41 are located below the first ribs 31.
[0044] That is, a part of a plurality of grille holes 32 formed by the air intake grille 4 are located below the first channel 21 and another part of the plurality of grille holes 32 formed by the air intake grille 4 are located below the second channel 22. In this case, on the one hand, the air intake grille 4 improves the structural strength of the indoor unit body at the air intake hole 121, on the other hand, the air intake grille 4 protects the evaporator 6, the water collection pan 5 and the electrical devices in the air supply channel 2, and also on the other hand, the air intake grille 4 improves the aesthetic appearance of the air intake assembly at the air intake hole 121. Since the air intake grille 4 is detachably connected with the indoor unit body, the manufacturing cost of the air intake grille 4 is effectively reduced, and it is also convenient to detach the air intake grille 4 to clean the air intake grille 4 and the finger guard grille 3 at an inner side.
[0045] Specifically, the air intake grille 4 is engaged in in the air intake hole 121, or the air intake grille 4 is fastened in the air intake hole 121 by a threaded member, and the plurality of second ribs 41 are arranged at equal intervals in the front-rear direction. Among the plurality of grille holes 32 formed by the air intake grille 4, the width of the grille hole 32 located below the first channel 21 is greater than or equal to the width of the grille hole 32 formed by the finger guard grille 3, and the width of the grille hole 32 located below the second channel 22 is greater than the width of the grille hole 32 formed by the finger guard grille 3.
[0046] The air intake assembly further includes a filter screen detachably arranged in the air intake hole 121, and the filter screen is located below the grille compartment. The filter screen is used to prevent external dust from entering the air supply channel 2, thus effectively ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all components in the air supply channel 2, and greatly prolonging the cleaning cycle of the air conditioner.
[0047] In some embodiments, as shown in Fig. 1, the indoor unit body includes a middle frame 1, the middle frame 1 includes a front panel 11 and a bottom plate 12 connected with each other. An inner wall surface of the front panel 11 has a mounting position, and the air intake hole 121 is arranged in the bottom plate 12. The front panel 11, the bottom plate 12 and the first ribs 31 are integrally formed.
[0048] Since the middle frame 1 and the finger guard grille 3 (i.e., the first ribs 31) are integrally formed, the number of parts of the air conditioner is effectively reduced, the assembling efficiency of the air conditioner is improved, and the connection strength between the bottom plate 12 and the finger guard grille 3 is also effectively improved.
[0049] In some embodiments, the air intake assembly further includes a water collection pan 5 arranged in the air supply channel 2, and a distance between a lowest point of an outer wall surface of the water collection pan 5 and an upper surface of the first rib 31 in a height direction of the indoor unit body is denoted as d, and d≥8mm.
[0050] This arrangement prevents the water collection pan 5 from being too close to the finger guard grille 3 in the up-down direction to block the air intake hole 121. After the air flow passes through the air intake hole 121 and then the finger guard grille 3, there may be more space for the air flow to flow around the water collection pan 5, so that the wind resistance of the water collection pan 5 to the air flow when the air flow passes by the water collection pan 5 is smaller, and thus the air supply efficiency of the air conditioner is higher.
[0051] Specifically, the distance between the lowest point of the outer wall surface of the water collection pan 5 and the upper surface of the first rib 31 in the height direction of the indoor unit body may be 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.
[0052] The air conditioner according to the embodiments of the present invention includes the air intake assembly as described in any of the above embodiments.
[0053] The technical advantages of the air conditioner according to the embodiments of the present invention are the same as those of the air intake assembly of the above embodiments, and thus will not be repeated here.
