Abstract

The present invention provides a chiral additive based on chiral compounds derived from spirobifluorene with high thermal and chemical stability for use in electrochemical reactions for the production and reduction of oxygen. The present invention also relates to the use of the chiral additive for the manufacture of electrodes for electrochemical and galvanic cells.
