Abstract

According to an example aspect, there is provided an aquaculture system (100) comprising: a farming tank (110) elongated in an elongation dimension along a longitudinal axis and having a first tank end (111) and an opposite second tank end (112) in the elongation dimension; and a first water treatment unit (120) and a second water treatment unit (130) connected to the farming tank (110) and extending in the elongation dimension, which water treatment units (120, 130) comprise first ends (121, 131) facing the first tank end (111) and opposite second ends (122, 132) facing the second tank end (112), which ends (121, 122, 131, 132) comprise one or more than one treated water end outlet (140) configured to insert treated water flow into the farming tank (110) and / or one or more than one water end inlet (150) configured to remove water from the farming tank (110).
