Machine state determining system and method

Abstract

The invention relates to a machine state determining system comprising at least one sensor on a civil engineering machine configured to measure (11) a state value of at least one measuring target for determining a state of the at least one measuring target, a display device associated with the civil engineering machine and being configured to display a diagnostic view of the civil engineering machine as an isometric image, a computing device in communication with the at least one sensor and the display device, wherein the computing device is configured to receive (12) measured state value data from the at least one sensor, determine (13) a state of the at least one measuring target based on the received state value data, and display (14) a first diagnostic view comprising a position of the at least one measuring target and the determined state of the at least one measuring target overlaid on the body of the civil engineering machine. The invention further relates to a machine state determining method (10) and a civil engineering machine.
