Improving Positioning Accuracy

Abstract

This document presents a solution for a locating a tag in a building complex. The solution comprises acquiring (300) by a location tracking system preliminary locations of the tag to be located, wherein a location tracking system comprises a location tracking apparatus and a set of nodes controlled by the location tracking apparatus; obtaining (302) by the location tracking system additional data from a source external to location tracking system, wherein the additional data provides information on at least one of possible surroundings of the tag and a subject using the tag and determining (304) by the location tracking system the location of the tag based on the preliminary locations and the obtained additional data.
