Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Product packaging and dispensing assembly comprising a product application member provided with continuously variable section orifices
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of packaging and distribution assemblies for a product, in particular a cosmetic product.
[0002] By “cosmetic product” is meant a product as defined in Regulation (EC) No 1223 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 relating to cosmetic products.
[0003] More particularly, the invention relates to a packaging and dispensing assembly for a pasty or viscous product such as, for example, a lip care or makeup product.
[0004] Conventionally, a device for packaging and applying a lipstick comprises a receptacle, a cup supporting a stick or grape of lipstick and a mechanism for moving said cup. The application surface of the grape of lipstick is generally inclined relative to the axis of the device, in order to facilitate application. However, the application surface is damaged as said grape is used.
[0005] In order to increase the lifetime of the application surface of a device for packaging and applying a viscous or pasty product, devices are known comprising a reservoir delimiting an internal volume containing a product and an application tip comprising a plurality of outlet orifices opening onto the application surface. Reference may be made in this regard to document FR 2 727 608 - AL. However, in such a device, there is a risk that the product is brought in excess onto the application surface or at least onto certain areas thereof.
[0006] Document FR 2 810 859 - B1 discloses a device for packaging and applying a product comprising a reservoir delimiting an internal volume containing a product and an application tip comprising a circular annular groove for the product outlet opening onto an application surface and in fluid communication with the internal volume of the reservoir. The annular groove is only partially filled with the product when the latter is evacuated from the reservoir towards the product application surface, so that the excess product on the application surface is evacuated towards the areas of the annular groove devoid of product.
[0007] Thus, there is a need to improve the distribution of the product on the application surface of the product packaging and distribution assemblies, particularly pasty or viscous products.
[0008] The present invention therefore aims to overcome the above drawbacks and to enable control of the dosage of the quantity of product to be distributed on the application surface, while maintaining an aesthetic appearance of said application surface.
[0009] The subject of the invention is a packaging and distribution assembly for a product, in particular a cosmetic product, comprising: - a reservoir extending along a longitudinal axis and delimiting an internal volume intended to contain the product and comprising, for example, an access opening to said internal volume; - a product application member mounted on the reservoir, in particular its opening, and comprising a hollow body delimiting an internal cavity in fluid communication with the internal volume of the reservoir and a membrane defining a product application surface.
[0010] The membrane comprises at least two separate product distribution orifices or conduits opening onto the product application surface, each of the distribution orifices being provided with an inlet section located on an internal surface of the membrane which is oriented towards the internal cavity and an outlet section located on the application surface of the membrane.
[0011] The assembly for packaging and dispensing a product further comprises an actuating mechanism or member for dispensing or pushing the product through said dispensing orifices along a product dispensing axis and secured to the reservoir.
[0012] The section of at least one of the dispensing orifices varies progressively from the inlet section to the outlet section of the orifice in question in a single direction along the product dispensing axis.
[0013] In other words, either the section of the distribution orifice considered decreases continuously from its inlet section to its outlet section, or the section of the distribution orifice considered increases continuously from its inlet section to its outlet section.
[0014] Each dispensing orifice extends along an extension axis between the internal surface of the membrane oriented towards the internal cavity of the hollow body of the product application member and the application surface of the membrane.
[0015] By "section of the dispensing orifice", we mean the section of passage of the product through the dispensing orifice considered, expressed for example in mm2 and measured in a plane perpendicular to the axis of extension of the dispensing orifice considered.
[0016] Thus, the “inlet section” of a dispensing orifice designates the passage section of the product at the level of the inlet of the dispensing orifice considered located on the internal surface of the membrane oriented towards the internal cavity of the body. hollow of the product application member, and the “outlet section” of a dispensing orifice designates the passage section of the product at the outlet of the dispensing orifice in question located on the application surface of the membrane.
[0017] The progressive and continuous variation of the section of the distribution orifices makes it possible to slow down or accelerate the flow of product passing through such or such orifice of the membrane and emerging on the application surface, and thus to standardize the distribution of the product on the application surface or to favor the distribution of product on certain zones of the application surface.
[0018] It could be provided that one or more dispensing orifices have a constant section from the inlet section to the outlet section. For example, the constant section dispensing orifices could be located near or in the thrust axis of the product.
[0019] Control of the dosage of the distribution of product on the application surface is made possible by the particular shape of the distribution orifices and by the continuous evolution of their section between the inlet section and the outlet section.
[0020] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the section of at least one of the dispensing orifices increases progressively from the inlet section to the outlet section of the orifice in question in a single direction along the dispensing axis of the product.
[0021] In other words, the section of the distribution orifice considered increases continuously from its inlet section to its outlet section.
[0022] Advantageously, the outlet section is identical for all the dispensing orifices and the section of at least one of the dispensing orifices, and in particular of all the dispensing orifices, increases progressively from the inlet section to the outlet section of the orifice in question in a single direction along the product dispensing axis.
[0023] Furthermore, the application surface retains its initial shape regardless of the state of use of the product, in particular when using the assembly as a lipstick or lipstick.
[0024] By way of non-limiting example, the product may be pasty or viscous, such as for example a cosmetic product, such as for example a lip care or makeup product or a skin care or makeup product for a user. Alternatively, the product could be any other pasty product, such as for example a food product or even paint, glue, etc.
[0025] Advantageously, the dispensing orifices have different product inlet sections.
[0026] For example, the application surface is inclined at an angle of between 5° and 90°, for example equal to 45°, relative to the product distribution axis, otherwise said the axis of the thrust of the product by the actuating member, which advantageously corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the tank.
[0027] Alternatively, a dispensing axis inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the reservoir could be provided, in particular for example when the application member has a bent shape.
[0028] The inlet section of the dispensing orifices may, for example, vary progressively, that is to say continuously, along the application surface of the application member, for example as a function of the altitude on the slope of said application surface, so as to obtain a uniform distribution of product on the application surface by allowing the slowing down of the output of product at the dispensing orifices of the first series, supplied first due to the inclination of the application surface.
[0029] In particular, the inlet section of the dispensing orifices increases progressively between the dispensing orifices located at the bottom of the slope of the application surface and the dispensing orifices located at the top of the slope of the application surface, the outlet sections of the dispensing orifices preferably being identical to each other.
[0030] The combination of the variation in section between the inlet and the outlet of the dispensing orifices and the variation in the inlet sections of the dispensing orifices as a function of their altitude on the slope of the application surface makes it possible to compensate for the inclination of the application surface relative to the product dispensing axis, so as to obtain a uniform distribution of product on the application surface.
[0031] According to one embodiment, the membrane is made of a flexible, elastically deformable material, such as, for example, an elastomer, for example a thermoplastic elastomer. The membrane has, for example, a hardness of between 10 and 80 Shore A, and preferably less than or equal to 50 Shore A, for example equal to 20 Shore A.
[0032] By "elastically deformable" is meant any member, by the material used and / or its dimensions, capable of deforming under the action of a stress exerted by the product, for example by actuation of the member for actuating the movement of the product, and configured to return to its initial position after the stress has stopped.
[0033] Thus, under the effect of the thrust of the product by the actuating member, the membrane is caused to bulge outwards and form a flexible application dome. In other words, the accumulation of the product under pressure in the internal cavity of the application member presses axially on the internal surface of the membrane.
[0034] Such a flexible membrane provides a comfort function during application and allows for gradual restitution of the product by pressing the user against the epidermis of the curved application surface under the effect of the pressure exerted by the product, the product not being able to flow back inside the reservoir due to the blocking of the dispensing actuating member.
[0035] Alternatively, it could be provided that the membrane is rigid. It could also be provided that the membrane is made of the same material as the body of the product application member.
[0036] The surface condition of the application surface of the membrane is advantageously adapted to the cosmetic product to be applied and / or depending on the objective of the application of the cosmetic product, and in particular of the makeup product applied by means of this application surface. Thus, the application surface of the membrane may, depending on the need, be smooth, include patterns or reliefs, defining localized cavities or a network of cavities making it possible in particular to “trap” the cosmetic product to be applied and to constitute reserves of product on the application surface.
[0037] Alternatively or additionally, the product application surface of the membrane may be flocked, in other words provided with flocking or even have spikes, advantageously made of the same material as the membrane, and allowing for example combing keratin fibers to which the cosmetic product is applied or even ensuring during application a massage effect of a keratin surface to which the cosmetic product is applied.
[0038] For example, the outlet sections of the dispensing orifices are of identical shape and size. This ensures an application surface with a satisfactory uniform aesthetic appearance.
[0039] Advantageously, the membrane comprises a plurality of product distribution orifices comprising at least two series of at least one distribution orifice, the orifices of the same series being identical to each other, the number of distribution orifices with variable section being between 51% and 100% of the total number of distribution orifices, each series of distribution orifices having different product inlet sections.
[0040] Generally speaking, the distribution orifices are mostly of continuously variable section.
[0041] In a particular embodiment, the orifices of the same series are aligned.
[0042] Alternatively, it could be provided to arrange the orifices of the same series in another way, for example by grouping.
[0043] According to one embodiment, the plurality of orifices comprises seven series of distribution orifices, namely: - a first series comprising a first orifice having a first inlet section, - a second series comprising two second orifices each having a second inlet section larger than the first inlet section, - a third series comprising three third orifices each having a third inlet section larger than the second inlet section, - a fourth series comprising two fourth orifices each having a fourth inlet section larger than the third inlet section, - a fifth series comprising three fifth orifices each having a fifth inlet section larger than the fourth inlet section, - a sixth series comprising two sixth orifices each having a sixth inlet section larger than the fifth inlet section, and - a seventh series comprising a seventh orifice having a seventh inlet section larger than the sixth inlet section.
[0044] According to one embodiment, the plurality of orifices comprises six series of distribution orifices, namely: - a first series comprising a first orifice having a first inlet section, - a second series comprising two second orifices each having a second inlet section larger than the first inlet section, - a third series comprising two third orifices each having a third inlet section larger than the second inlet section, - a fourth series comprising six fourth orifices each having a fourth inlet section larger than the third inlet section, - a fifth series comprising two fifth orifices each having a fifth inlet section smaller than the fourth inlet section and larger than the third inlet section, and - a sixth series comprising a sixth orifice having a sixth inlet section larger than the fourth inlet section.
[0045] For example, at least two orifices, for example four, of the fourth series are grouped close to the product distribution axis.
[0046] According to one embodiment, the plurality of orifices comprises four series of distribution orifices, namely: - a first series comprising three first orifices each having a first inlet section, - a second series comprising five second orifices each having a second inlet section larger than the first inlet section, - a third series comprising three third orifices each having a third inlet section larger than the second inlet section, and - a fourth series comprising three fourth orifices each having a fourth inlet section larger than the third inlet section.
[0047] For example, the orifices of the first series are grouped on two parallel lines, the orifices of the second series are grouped on two parallel lines, the orifices of the third series are aligned and the orifices of the fourth series are grouped on two parallel lines.
[0048] The orifices may each have a section of constant shape between the inlet section and the outlet section, such as a polygonal shape, and in particular a hexagonal shape. In other words, the inlet section and the outlet section are of identical shape.
[0049] Alternatively, other shapes could be provided for the cross-section of the orifices, for example circular, oblong or other. In the same way, it could be provided that one or more orifices have an inlet cross-section of a different shape from the outlet cross-section. For example, it could be provided that the inlet cross-section of at least one or all of the orifices has a circular shape and that the outlet cross-section of this at least one or all of the orifices has a polygonal shape.
[0050] By "sectional shape" of an orifice considered, we mean here the shape of the outline of the orifice seen in a plane perpendicular to the axis of extension of the distribution orifice considered.
[0051] According to one embodiment, the plurality of orifices comprises two series of distribution orifices, namely: - a first series comprising two first orifices each having a first inlet section and a first outlet section continuously variable relative to the first inlet section, and - a second series comprising a second orifice having a second inlet section and a second outlet section continuously variable relative to the second inlet section, the first outlet section being different, for example smaller, from the second outlet section, each of the orifices having an oblong or rectilinear slot-shaped section extending along the application surface.
[0052] Advantageously, the inlet section of the distribution orifices of the same series varies progressively along the application surface, that is to say as a function of the altitude on the slope of said application surface.
[0053] Such a shape of the orifices is particularly advantageous when the application surface is inclined relative to the product distribution axis.
[0054] The inlet section of each distribution orifice is smaller in the lower part of said orifice than the inlet section of said orifice located in the upper part of said orifice. Thus, when dispensing the product onto the application surface, the flow of the product is slowed down at the lower parts of the inlet sections of the orifices so as to obtain a uniform distribution of product onto the application surface.
[0055] The second orifice is advantageously centered on the product distribution axis.
[0056] The product application member is, for example, separate from the reservoir. Alternatively, it could be envisaged that the product application member and the reservoir form a monolithic assembly molded from the same material.
[0057] The product dispensing actuating member comprises a drive wheel mounted for rotation on the lower end of the reservoir, a threaded rod rotating in a bore in the body of the reservoir and being driven in rotation by means of the drive wheel and a piston mounted by meshing on the rod and mounted in the body of the reservoir without the possibility of relative rotation with respect to the latter.
[0058] The rotation of the wheel causes an axial movement along the distribution axis of the piston and makes it possible to expel a dose of product onto the application surface of the application member.
[0059] Alternatively, any other mechanism could be provided allowing the product to be pushed from the internal volume of the reservoir to the product application surface. For example, a click system could be provided, or a reservoir made of flexible material could be provided capable of deforming under the action of a force exerted by the user and of returning to its initial shape when said force is stopped. Thus, when the user presses on the body of the reservoir, the internal volume is compressed and allows the ejection of a dose of product onto the product application surface.
[0060] The product packaging and dispensing assembly may comprise a mounting member secured to the reservoir and to which the application member is fixed.
[0061] The mounting member can be screwed or clipped onto the neck of the tank.
[0062] For example, the mounting member comprises a substantially cylindrical mounting skirt comprising a thread cooperating with the thread of the tank and a sealing skirt mounted radially in the neck of the tank and in radial contact with the internal surface of said neck. The mounting skirt radially surrounds the sealing skirt.
[0063] The sealing skirt delimits a product circulation channel opening into the internal volume of the tank.
[0064] The mounting member may comprise a fixing collar extending radially outwards from an upper end of the sealing skirt and delimiting a groove intended to cooperate with a retaining member of the product application member.
[0065] For example, the body of the application member extends axially from an open lower end comprising the retaining member on the mounting member to an upper end comprising the membrane.
[0066] For example, the assembly comprises a protective cover mounted, for example by clipping or screwing onto the product application member and a case so as to cover the assembly formed by the reservoir, the application member, the mounting member and the protective cover.
[0067] The outer diameter of the protective cover is greater than the outer diameter of the body of the product application member and advantageously less than or equal to the outer diameter of the body of the reservoir.
[0068] According to a second aspect, the invention relates to a product application member for a product packaging and dispensing assembly, said member comprising a hollow body extending along a longitudinal axis and delimiting an internal cavity and a membrane defining a product application surface, the membrane comprising at least two separate product distribution orifices or conduits and opening onto the product application surface. Each of the distribution orifices is provided with an inlet section located on an internal surface of the membrane which is oriented towards the internal cavity and an outlet section located on the application surface of the membrane.
[0069] The section of at least one of the distribution orifices varies progressively, that is to say continuously, from the inlet section to the outlet section of the orifice in question in a single direction along the longitudinal axis.
[0070] The present invention will be better understood upon studying the detailed description of embodiments, taken as non-limiting examples and illustrated by the appended drawings, in which:
[0071] [Fig-1] is an axial sectional view of a packaging assembly and distribution of a product according to an embodiment of the invention;
[0072] [Fig.2] is a perspective view of a product application member of the assembly of [Fig.l];
[0073] [Fig.3] is a top view of the product application member of [Fig.l];
[0074] [Fig.4] is a top view of a product application member according to a second embodiment;
[0075] [Fig.5] is a top view of a product application member according to a third embodiment; and
[0076] [Fig.6] is a top view of a product application member according to a fourth embodiment.
[0077] In the remainder of the description, we consider an orthonormal basis X, Y, Z, with Z corresponding to an elevation axis representing the vertical direction. The expressions "upper" and "lower" refer to the upper and lower parts of the figures.
[0078] In [Fig. 1] is shown a unit 1 for packaging and distributing a product, in particular a cosmetic product.
[0079] By “product” is meant a pasty or viscous product, such as for example a cosmetic product, such as for example a care or makeup product, in particular lip makeup, or a care or makeup product for the epidermis of a user. Alternatively, the product could be any other pasty product, such as for example a food product or even paint, glue, etc.
[0080] The viscosity of the product is, for example, between 2 Pa.s and 55 Pa.s. This viscosity is measured at 25°C, using a RHEOMAT RM200 viscometer, the measurement being carried out after 10 minutes of rotation of spindle No. 3 within the cosmetic product, at a shear rate of 200 revolutions per minute.
[0081] The cosmetic product may be relatively fluid and have a viscosity of between 2 Pa.s and 5 Pa.s, and preferably between 2.5 Pa.s and 3.5 Pa.s. A cosmetic product having such a viscosity may, for example, be a skin care product.
[0082] The cosmetic product may, conversely, be relatively viscous, relatively thick, and have a viscosity of between 25 Pa.s and 55 Pa.s, and preferably of between 35 Pa.s and 45 Pa.s. A cosmetic product having such a viscosity may, for example, be a makeup product, and in particular a lip makeup product.
[0083] The product packaging and dispensing assembly 1 comprises a reservoir or container 10 containing a product, an application member 20 for the product and a mounting member 30 secured to the reservoir 10 and to which the application member 20 is fixed.
[0084] Alternatively, it could be provided that the application member 20 is directly fixed to the reservoir 10.
[0085] The reservoir 10 comprises a hollow body 12 delimiting an internal volume 14 containing the product. The reservoir 10 extends axially along an axis Z-Z' assumed to be vertical in the figures, from an upper end 16 forming a neck provided with an opening 16a allowing access to the internal volume 14 to a lower end 18, opposite the upper end 16.
[0086] The body of the reservoir 10 may be made, for example, of rigid synthetic material.
[0087] The neck 16 may, by way of non-limiting example, have an outside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the body 12 of the reservoir 10.
[0088] As illustrated, the neck 16 comprises, on its outer surface, a thread 16b onto which the mounting member 30 is screwed. It would also be possible to provide for fixing the mounting member 30 to the reservoir 10 by other means, such as for example by clipping.
[0089] The assembly 1 further comprises a mechanism or member 40 for actuating the dispensing or pushing of the product to cause the dispensing of a dose of product onto an application surface 21 of the application member 20.
[0090] The member 40 for actuating the product dispensing comprises a drive wheel 41 mounted for rotation on the lower end 18 of the reservoir 10, a threaded rod 42 rotating in a bore in the body 12 of the reservoir and being driven in rotation by means of the drive wheel 41 and a piston 43 mounted by meshing on the rod 42 and mounted in the body 12 of the reservoir without the possibility of relative rotation with respect to the latter.
[0091] The rotation of the wheel 41 causes an axial displacement along the axis Z-Z' of the piston 43 and makes it possible to expel a dose of product onto the application surface 21 of the application member 20.
[0092] Alternatively, any other mechanism could be provided allowing the product to be pushed from the internal volume of the reservoir 10 to the product application surface 21. For example, a click system could be provided, or a reservoir made of flexible material could be provided capable of deforming under the action of a force exerted by the user and of returning to its initial shape when said force is stopped. Thus, when the user presses on the body of the reservoir, the internal volume 14 is compressed and allows the ejection of a dose of product onto the product application surface.
[0093] The mounting member 30 comprises a substantially cylindrical mounting skirt 31 comprising a thread 31a cooperating with the thread 16b of the reservoir 10 and a sealing skirt 32 mounted radially in the neck 16 of the reservoir and in radial contact with the internal surface of said neck.
[0094] The mounting skirt 31 radially surrounds the sealing skirt 32.
[0095] The sealing skirt 32 delimits a circulation channel 33 for the product opening into the internal volume 14 of the reservoir 10.
[0096] The mounting member 30 further comprises a fixing collar 34 extending radially outwards from an upper end 32a of the sealing skirt 32 and delimiting a groove 35 intended to cooperate with a retaining member 22 of the product application member 20.
[0097] The product application member 20 comprises for this purpose a hollow body 23 delimiting an internal cavity 25 in fluid communication with the circulation channel 33 of the mounting member 30. As a variant, the internal cavity 25 could be in fluid communication directly with the internal volume 14 of the reservoir 10. The product application member 20 extends axially along an axis Z-Z' assumed to be vertical in [Fig.l], from an open lower end 23a comprising the retaining member 22 on the mounting member 30 to an upper end 23b comprising a membrane 26 defining the application surface 21 of the product.
[0098] As illustrated, the product application member 20 is separate from the reservoir 10. Alternatively, it could be provided that the product application member 20 and the reservoir 10 form a monolithic assembly molded from the same material.
[0099] The external diameter of the body 23 of the product application member 20 is advantageously less than or equal to the external diameter of the body 12 of the reservoir 10 in order to limit the radial size of the assembly 1.
[0100] The membrane 26 comprises a plurality 27 of product distribution orifices or conduits distinct from one another and opening onto the product application surface 21.
[0101] As illustrated in the embodiment of [Fig. 3], the plurality 27 of orifices comprises seven series Si of distribution orifices, with i the number of series of orifices. Alternatively, a different number of series of orifices could be provided, for example greater than or equal to two, for example equal to four, for example equal to six or for example greater than or equal to eight.
[0102] Each series of orifices Si comprises one or more distribution orifices Oi, with i the number of series of orifices. The orifices Oi of the same series Si are identical.
[0103] The orifices Oi of the same series Si are aligned. Alternatively, it could be provided to arrange the orifices of the same series in another way, for example by grouping.
[0104] The orifices Oi each have a section of constant shape between the inlet section and the outlet section, such as a polygonal shape, and in particular hexagonal. Alternatively, other shapes could be provided for the inlet and / or outlet section of the orifices, for example circular, oblong or other.
[0105] Each of the distribution orifices Oi is delimited by an inlet section located on the internal surface 26a of the membrane 26 and an outlet section located on the external surface or application surface 21 of the membrane 26.
[0106] As illustrated in [Fig.l], the section of each of the dispensing orifices Oi varies continuously from the inlet section to the outlet section in a single direction along the thrust or dispensing axis of the product. In other words, either the section of the dispensing orifice considered decreases continuously from its inlet section to its outlet section, or the section of the dispensing orifice considered increases continuously from its inlet section to its outlet section.
[0107] The variation of the section of the distribution orifices Oi makes it possible to slow down or accelerate the flow of product passing through such or such orifice of the membrane and opening onto the application surface 21, so as to be able for example to standardize the distribution of the product on the application surface 21 or on the contrary to favor the distribution of the product at the level of specific zones of the application surface 21.
[0108] Alternatively, provision could be made for one or more distribution orifices Oi to have a constant section from the inlet section to the outlet section. For example, the distribution orifices with a constant section could be located near or in the thrust axis of the product. The number of distribution orifices with a variable section may be greater than or equal to 51% of the total number of orifices, for example greater than or equal to 75%.
[0109] As illustrated in [Fig.2], the outlet sections of the dispensing orifices Oi are of identical shape and dimension. This makes it possible to guarantee an application surface 21 having a satisfactory uniform aesthetic appearance.
[0110] Each series Si of dispensing orifices has different product inlet sections.
[0111] As can be seen in Figures 2 and 3, and by way of non-limiting example, the plurality of orifices 27 comprises:
[0112] - a first series SI comprising a first orifice 01 having a first entrance section,
[0113] - a second series S2 comprising two second orifices 02 each having a second input section larger than the first input section,
[0114] - a third series S3 comprising three third orifices 03 each having a third input section larger than the second input section,
[0115] - a fourth series S4 comprising two fourth orifices 04 each having a fourth entrance section larger than the third entrance section,
[0116] - a fifth series S5 comprising three fifth orifices 05 each having a fifth entrance section larger than the fourth entrance section,
[0117] - a sixth series S6 comprising two sixth orifices 06 each having a sixth entrance section larger than the fifth entrance section, and
[0118] - a seventh series S7 comprising a seventh orifice 07 having a seventh input section larger than the sixth input section.
[0119] Generally, the inlet section of the distribution orifices varies continuously over the application surface 21.
[0120] In this embodiment of [Fig.3], the distribution orifices Oi all have the same outlet section.
[0121] As a non-limiting example, in this embodiment of [Fig.3]:
[0122] - the outlet section of each of the distribution orifices Oi is close to 2.55 mm2 ;
[0123] - the first inlet section of the first series SI of orifice 01 is close to 0.55 mm2 ;
[0124] - the second inlet section of the second series S2 of orifice 02 is close to 0.65 mm2;
[0125] - the third inlet section of the third series S3 of orifice 03 is close to 0.81 mm2;
[0126] - the fourth inlet section of the fourth series S4 of orifice 04 is close to 1 mm2 ;
[0127] - the fifth inlet section of the fifth series S5 of orifice 05 is close to 1.5 mm2;
[0128] - the sixth inlet section of the sixth series S6 of orifice 06 is close to 1.92 mm2 ;
[0129] - the seventh inlet section of the seventh series S7 of orifice 07 is close to 2.39 mm2.
[0130] Such values of inlet and outlet sections of the dispensing orifices Oi are particularly suitable for dispensing a product of relatively high viscosity, such as a makeup product, in particular lip makeup, for example a product having a viscosity of between 25 Pa.s and 55 Pa.s, and preferably of between 35 Pa.s and 45 Pa.s. This viscosity is measured at 25°C, using a RHEOMAT RM200 viscometer, the measurement being carried out after 10 minutes of rotation of the spindle No. 3 within the cosmetic product, at a shear rate of 200 revolutions per minute.
[0131] The application surface 21 is here inclined at an angle [3 close to 45° relative to the axis of distribution or pushing of the product by the actuating member 40.
[0132] Alternatively, the application surface 21 could be inclined at an angle [3 of between 5° and 60° relative to the product dispensing axis, in other words the axis of the thrust of the product by the actuating member, which advantageously corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the reservoir.
[0133] The inlet section of the dispensing orifices varies continuously on the application surface 21 as a function of the altitude on the slope of said application surface 21, so as to obtain a uniform distribution of product on the application surface by allowing the slowing down of the output of product at the dispensing orifices of the first series, supplied first due to the inclination of the application surface 21.
[0134] Control of the dosage of the distribution of product on the application surface 21 is made possible by the particular shape of the distribution orifices 27.
[0135] Indeed, the combination of the variation in section between the inlet section and the outlet section of the dispensing orifices Oi and the variation in the inlet sections of the dispensing orifices as a function of their altitude on the slope of the application surface 21 makes it possible to compensate for the inclination of said application surface relative to the product dispensing axis, so as to obtain a uniform distribution of product on the application surface.
[0136] The membrane 26 is, for example, made of a flexible, elastically deformable material, such as, for example, an elastomer, for example a thermoplastic elastomer. The membrane 26 has, for example, a hardness of between 10 and 80 Shore A, and preferably less than or equal to 50 Shore A, for example equal to 20 Shore A.
[0137] By "elastically deformable" is meant any member, by the material used and / or its dimensions, capable of deforming under the action of a stress exerted by the product, for example by actuation of the member 40 for actuating the movement of the product, and configured to return to its initial position after the stress has stopped.
[0138] Thus, under the effect of the thrust of the product by the actuating member 40, the membrane 26 bulges outwards and forms a flexible application dome. In other words, the accumulation of the product under pressure in the internal cavity 25 of the application member 20 bears axially on the internal surface of the membrane 26.
[0139] Such a flexible membrane provides a comfort function during application and allows for gradual restitution of the product by pressing the user against the epidermis of the curved application surface 21 under the effect of the pressure exerted by the product, the product not being able to flow back inside the reservoir 10 due to the blocking of the dispensing actuating member 40.
[0140] Alternatively, it could be provided that the membrane 26 is rigid. It could also be provided that the membrane 26 is made of the same material as the body 23 of the product application member 20.
[0141] As illustrated in [Fig.l], the assembly 1 comprises a protective cover 50 mounted, for example by clipping or screwing onto the product application member 20 and a case 60 so as to cover the assembly formed by the reservoir 10, the application member 20, the mounting member 30 and the protective cover 50.
[0142] The outside diameter of the protective cover 50 is greater than the outside diameter of the body 23 of the product application member 20 and advantageously less than or equal to the outside diameter of the body 12 of the reservoir 10.
[0143] The embodiment illustrated in [Fig.4], in which identical elements bear the same references, differs from the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 3 only by the number of series Si of orifices and their arrangement.
[0144] As illustrated, the plurality 27 of orifices comprises six series Si of distribution orifices, with i the number of series of orifices. Alternatively, a different number of series of orifices could be provided, for example greater than or equal to two.
[0145] Each series of orifices Si comprises one or more distribution orifices Oi, with i the number of series of orifices. The orifices Oi of the same series are identical between.
[0146] The orifices Oi each have a section of constant shape between the inlet section and the outlet section, such as a polygonal shape, and in particular hexagonal. Alternatively, other shapes could be provided for the section of the orifices, for example circular, oblong or other.
[0147] Each of the distribution orifices Oi is delimited by an inlet section located on the internal surface 26a of the membrane 26 and an outlet section located on the external surface or application surface 21 of the membrane 26.
[0148] As illustrated in [Fig.4], the outlet sections of the distribution orifices Oi are of identical shape and dimension.
[0149] Each series Si of dispensing orifices has different product inlet sections.
[0150] As can be seen in [Fig.4], and by way of non-limiting example, the plurality of orifices 27 comprises:
[0151] - a first series SI comprising a first orifice 01 having a first entrance section,
[0152] - a second series S2 comprising two second orifices 02 each having a second input section larger than the first input section,
[0153] - a third series S3 comprising two third orifices 03 each having a third input section larger than the second input section,
[0154] - a fourth series S4 comprising six fourth orifices 04 each having a fourth entrance section larger than the third entrance section,
[0155] - a fifth series S5 comprising two fifth orifices 05 each having a fifth input section smaller than the fourth input section and larger than the third input section, and
[0156] - a sixth series S6 comprising a sixth orifice 06 having a sixth input section larger than the fourth input section.
[0157] Four orifices 04 of the fourth series S4 are grouped near the product distribution axis.
[0158] The inlet section of the dispensing orifices varies on the application surface 21 as a function of the altitude on the slope of said application surface 21, so as to obtain a preferred distribution of product in the center of the application surface and substantially uniform over a peripheral zone of the application surface.
[0159] In this embodiment of [Fig.4], the distribution orifices Oi all have the same outlet section.
[0160] As a non-limiting example, in this embodiment of [Fig.4]:
[0161] - the outlet section of each of the distribution orifices Oi is close to 2.55 mm2 ;
[0162] - the first inlet section of the first series SI of orifice 01 is close to 0.55 mm2 ;
[0163] - the second inlet section of the second series S2 of orifice 02 is close to 0.65 mm2;
[0164] - the third inlet section of the third series S3 of orifice 03 is close to 0.81 mm2;
[0165] - the fourth inlet section of the fourth series S4 of orifice 04 is close to 1.92 mm2;
[0166] - the fifth inlet section of the fifth series S5 of orifice 05 is close to 1.5 mm2;
[0167] - the sixth inlet section of the sixth series S6 of orifice 06 is close to 2.39 mm2.
[0168] Such values of inlet and outlet sections of the dispensing orifices Oi are particularly suitable for dispensing a product of relatively high viscosity, such as a makeup product, in particular lip makeup, for example a product having a viscosity of between 25 Pa.s and 55 Pa.s, and preferably of between 35 Pa.s and 45 Pa.s. This viscosity is measured at 25°C, using a RHEOMAT RM200 viscometer, the measurement being carried out after 10 minutes of rotation of the spindle No. 3 within the cosmetic product, at a shear rate of 200 revolutions per minute.
[0169] The embodiment illustrated in [Fig.5], in which identical elements bear the same references, differs from the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 3 only by the number of series Si of orifices and their arrangement.
[0170] As illustrated, the plurality 27 of orifices comprises four series Si of distribution orifices, with i the number of series of orifices. Alternatively, a different number of series of orifices could be provided, for example greater than or equal to two.
[0171] Each series of orifices Si comprises one or more distribution orifices Oi, with i the number of series of orifices. The orifices Oi of the same series are identical between.
[0172] The orifices Oi each have a section of constant shape between the inlet section and the outlet section, such as a polygonal shape, and in particular hexagonal. Alternatively, other shapes could be provided for the section of the orifices, for example circular, oblong.
[0173] Each of the distribution orifices Oi is delimited by an inlet section located on the internal surface 26a of the membrane 26 and an outlet section located on the external surface or application surface 21 of the membrane 26.
[0174] As illustrated in [Fig.5], the outlet sections of the distribution orifices Oi are of identical shape and dimension.
[0175] Each series Si of dispensing orifices has different product inlet sections.
[0176] As can be seen in [Fig.5], and by way of non-limiting example, the plurality of orifices 27 comprises:
[0177] - a first series SI comprising three first orifices 01 each having a first entry section,
[0178] - a second series S2 comprising five second orifices 02 each having a second input section larger than the first input section,
[0179] - a third series S3 comprising three third orifices 03 each having a third input section larger than the second input section, and
[0180] - a fourth series S4 comprising three fourth orifices 04 each having a fourth entrance section larger than the third entrance section.
[0181] As illustrated, the orifices 01 of the first series S1 are grouped on two parallel lines, the orifices 02 of the second series S2 are grouped on two parallel lines, the orifices 03 of the third series S3 are aligned and the orifices 04 of the fourth series S4 are grouped on two parallel lines.
[0182] The inlet section of the dispensing orifices varies continuously on the application surface 21 as a function of the altitude on the slope of said application surface 21, so as to obtain a uniform distribution of product on the application surface.
[0183] In this embodiment of [Fig.5], the distribution orifices Oi all have the same outlet section.
[0184] As a non-limiting example, in this embodiment of [Fig.5]:
[0185] - the outlet section of each of the distribution orifices Oi is close to 2.55 mm2 ;
[0186] - the first inlet section of the first series SI of orifice 01 is close to 0.55 mm2 ;
[0187] - the second inlet section of the second series S2 of orifice 02 is close to 0.65 mm2;
[0188] - the third inlet section of the third series S3 of orifice 03 is close to 0.81 mm2;
[0189] - the fourth inlet section of the fourth series S4 of orifice 04 is close to 1 mm2.
[0190] Such values of inlet and outlet sections of the dispensing orifices Oi are particularly suitable for dispensing a product of relatively low viscosity, such as an epidermal care product, for example a product having a viscosity of between 2 Pa.s and 5 Pa.s, and preferably of between 2.5 Pa.s and 3.5 Pa.s. This viscosity is measured at 25°C, using a RHEOMAT RM200 viscometer, the measurement being carried out after 10 minutes of rotation of the spindle No. 3 within the cosmetic product, at a shear of 200 revolutions per minute.
[0191] The embodiment illustrated in [Fig.6], in which identical elements bear the same references, differs from the embodiment illustrated in Figures 1 to 3 by the shape of the orifices and the number of series of orifices.
[0192] As illustrated, the plurality 27 of orifices comprises two series Si of distribution orifices, with i the number of series of orifices.
[0193] Each series of orifices Si comprises one or more distribution orifices Oi, with i the number of series of orifices. The orifices Oi of the same series are identical between.
[0194] The orifices Oi each have a section of oblong shape or rectilinear slot extending along the application surface 21.
[0195] Each of the distribution orifices Oi is delimited by an inlet section located on the internal surface 26a of the membrane 26 and an outlet section located on the external surface or application surface 21 of the membrane 26.
[0196] As illustrated in [Fig.6], each series Si of dispensing orifices has different product inlet and outlet sections.
[0197] As can be seen in [Fig.6], and by way of non-limiting example, the plurality of orifices 27 comprises:
[0198] - a first series SI comprising two first orifices 01 each having a first input section and a first output section progressively variable relative to the first input section, and
[0199] - a second series S2 comprising a second orifice 02 having a second input section and a second output section continuously variable relative to the second input section.
[0200] The first output section is smaller than the second output section.
[0201] The second orifice 02 is centered on the product distribution axis.
[0202] The sections of the dispensing orifices vary progressively along the dispensing axis Z-Z', but also along the application surface 21, that is to say as a function of the altitude on the slope of said application surface 21.
[0203] Such a shape of the orifices is particularly advantageous when the application surface 21 is inclined relative to the distribution axis Z-Z' of the product.
[0204] The inlet section of each distribution orifice is smaller in the lower part of said orifice than the inlet section of said orifice located in the upper part of said orifice. Thus, when distributing the product on the application surface, the flow of the product is slowed down at the lower parts of the inlet sections of the orifices so as to obtain a uniform distribution of product on the application surface 21.
[0205] Thanks to the particular shape of the orifices of the application member, the supply of product to the application surface is controlled when the product distribution actuating member is actuated.
