Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Anti-theft system for backpack
[0001] The invention relates to a backpack closure system for protecting objects in a backpack against theft, characterized in that it comprises at least one zipper, or at least one buckle closure, or at least one quick buckle closure, or any other closure system, and that all or part of this closure system is made integral, temporarily or permanently, with one of the straps of said bag so that the wearer of the bag can tactilely or visually check the connection between the closure system and the strap without having to make a specific gesture towards any other part of the bag than the aforementioned strap. Technical field
[0002] The technical field of the invention is that of storage bags and satchels worn on the back or over a shoulder. The present invention relates to a protective bag, and in particular a storage and protection bag suitable for transporting valuable objects, in particular electronic equipment such as a laptop, a tablet or even a camera. Technological background
[0003] There are many situations in which an individual carries a bag on their back or across their shoulder, in contact with other people who may steal part of its contents. For example, during an urban journey on public transport, or in an urban crowd, or at a tourist site. It is then easy for a thief to open the bag carried on the back or across their shoulder if the bag is open or has an unsecured closure, or by cutting the soft material of the bag with a sharp object.
[0004] There is therefore a need for an individual to be able to secure their storage bag when it is worn, over the shoulder or on the back, to prevent any theft of the bag's contents. This concern about theft is even more present for bags with an unsecured closure, whether it is a buckle flap, a quick buckle or a zipper, also called an Eclair™ closure, or zip.
[0005] An option that can be observed on certain backpacks consists of making a pocket inaccessible by positioning the zipper of this pocket between the back and the straps, in order to keep the closure unreachable by pressing it between the back and the bag. However, this solution makes access to the bag complex not only for the potential thief but also and above all for the daily user of the bag, both to empty and fill it when the bag is placed down, but also to access it by keeping it on the shoulder when the need arises.
[0006] Other solutions exist, including the roll-up closure or the padlock integrated into the bag, or the padlock securing two pulls arranged on the same zipper. The roll-up closure can potentially provide weak protection against theft due to the fact that the thief must be particularly skillful to open the bag without the wearer feeling it, but this type of protection is weak in an environment such as public transport or a tourist site, and where the movements of the vehicle or physical contact are regular and for the most part harmless. The padlock integrated into the bag requires remembering a code, or having a physical key. In both cases it is therefore possible to forget one's key, physical or virtual. In addition, easy handling of such a device also requires putting the bag down, and no simple visual check is possible. Summary of the invention
[0007] The invention offers a solution to the problems mentioned above, by allowing an individual to be able to carry his bag on his back while tactilely or visually checking that the bag is properly closed without any movement on the part of the wearer.
[0008] A first aspect of the invention relates to a protective and storage bag comprising a main opening configured to be closed by a zipper, said main opening defining an opening perimeter, said protective and storage bag being characterized in that it comprises: a. A zipper longer than the main opening it closes, and the additional part of which is made integral, partially or in its entirety, with part of at least one strap of the bag, either solely by the pull or by the panels, b. A system for attaching all or part of the zipper or zipper pull to at least one strap, which makes it possible to check tactilely or visually that the zipper is in the closed position because the pull is in closed contact with the strap.
[0009] Thanks to the invention, the main opening of the bag is closed by the zipper, then the remaining part of the zipper is closed completely up to a front part of the strap, the slide being integral with the strap in this position, and passing between the side and the arm of the wearer of the bag, thus preventing a thief from manipulating this closure while allowing easy manipulation and control by the wearer of the bag.
[0010] In addition to the characteristics which have just been mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the protective and storage bag according to a first aspect of the invention may have one or more additional characteristics among the following, considered individually or in all technically possible combinations.
[0011] Advantageously, the fastening of the zipper on the bag can be extended beyond the opening, over a part of the rest of the bag, by sewing each of the two sides, gluing or welding.
[0012] Advantageously, the zipper can be fixed to the strap along the entire length of the zipper, thus making its two sides entirely integral with the strap, by sewing each of the two sides, gluing or welding.
[0013] Advantageously, the zipper pull alone can be temporarily secured to the strap by any suitable fastening means: hook, loop, press stud, flap fixed to the strap and folding over the slide behind the pull.
[0014] Advantageously, this zipper attachment on a strap can be used on all or part of the openings of the backpack, with a zipper attachment, on one strap alone or both.
[0015] Advantageously, this fastening system can be used on both straps for a single zipper comprising two pulls.
[0016] Advantageously, the zipper can pass over the bottom of the strap, between the attachment of the strap to the bottom of the bag and the front of the strap, between the side and the arm of the wearer when the bag is worn on the back.
[0017] Advantageously, the zipper can pass over the top of the strap, between the attachment of the strap to the top of the bag and the front of the strap, over the wearer's shoulder when the bag is carried on the back.
[0018] Advantageously, this system for securing the closure and one of the two straps can be implemented on a flap closure, by extending the flap partially or completely over the strap, from the bottom or from the top, and by fixing the buckle or any other closure means on the strap.
[0019] Advantageously, this system for securing the closure and one of the two straps can be implemented on a lace closure, by temporarily fixing part of the lace to one of the two straps.
[0020] Advantageously, the strap on which the zipper closes is composed, partially or entirely, of only this zipper.
[0021] Advantageously, the bag comprises an envelope made from at least one water-resistant material and having cut-resistant properties.
[0022] Advantageously, the bag is configured and sized to contain a laptop computer.
[0023] Advantageously, the bag is configured and sized to contain a reflex or hybrid camera.
[0024] The invention and its various applications will be better understood upon reading the following description and examining the accompanying figures.
[0025] The figures are presented for information purposes only and in no way limit the invention.

[0029] [Fig.3] is a first embodiment of a protective and storage bag according to the invention in the closed and secure position according to the invention.
[0030] [Fig.4] is a second embodiment of a protective and storage bag according to the invention in the closed and secure position according to the invention.
[0031] [Fig.5] is a third embodiment of a protective and storage bag according to the invention in the closed and secure position according to the invention. Detailed description
[0032] A first aspect of the invention relates to a protective and storage backpack having a single-pull zipper closure mode on the main opening and two carrying straps. A protective bag is understood to mean a secure bag whose contents are protected against theft.
[0033] A bag having a zipper closure method is understood to mean a bag having a main opening and being made of at least one flexible material to allow the zipper to completely close the main opening when the zipper pull is in abutment at one end of the zipper, and the main opening to be completely open when the pull is in abutment at the other end of the zipper.
[0034] A backpack with two carrying straps is understood to mean a bag generally worn on the back, with each of the wearer's arms passing through each of the two straps of the bag. Each of the straps is deemed to be attached to the top and bottom of said bag, so that when the arms are each passed through a strap, the bag is pressed against the wearer's back.
[0035] The term "main opening" means the opening allowing access to the compartment of the bag with the largest capacity, as opposed to an additional or secondary opening, such as for example an opening of an interior pocket, a secondary compartment or even an exterior pocket, the openings of which are generally smaller than the main opening.
[0036] The bag 100 according to the invention, shown in [Fig. 2], has a main opening 101. The main opening 101 closes by moving the pull tab on the zipper, as shown in Figures 2, 3, 4 or 5. Conventionally, as shown in [Fig. 1] for a backpack known from the prior art, the closing action consists of pulling the pull tab from the open position (104) to the closed position (105), thus folding the two parts of the flexible material constituting the bag 100 at the main opening 101 by joining the two parts of the slide of the zipper. Generally, such a bag 100 is considered closed when the user has pulled the pull tab to the closing stop (105).According to the invention, the bag is considered closed and secured when the pull tab has passed the closing position (105) and reached the safety position at the end of the zipper (111) secured to the strap at least at the end point of the closure on the strap (107) temporarily or permanently.
[0037] According to the first embodiment shown in [Fig. 2], the zipper 102 is made both integral with the body of the bag 100 and integral with the strap 103. In this first embodiment, the solidarity of the zipper 102 with the body of the bag 100 and the strap 103 is established over the entire length of the zipper. In this first embodiment, the solidarity of the zipper 102 with the body of the bag 100 and the strap 103 can be established by different means, in particular, for example, but without being limiting, by sewing, welding, gluing or any other means. For example, the two sides of the zipper may be attached to the two lips of the main opening from the end 104 to the second end 105 of the main opening, then attached by sewing, welding, gluing or any other ad hoc means to the strap 103 from the lower attachment of the strap to the bag 106 to a length of strap allowing the presence of the pull tab to be visualized or tactilely verified when the bag is worn, at the end 111 of the zipper, for example beyond the first lower third of the strap 103 to the end of the zipper located at point 107 on the strap. Although the first embodiment shows a strap 103 positioned on the right of the bag, it is understood that the zipper 102 could also be configured and oriented such that it extends onto the strap positioned on the left of the bag.Furthermore, the end of the closure may vary depending on the geometry of the bag and / or the morphology of the bag user.
[0038] According to the first embodiment shown in [Fig. 3], when the main opening is closed and the bag is carried on the back of the wearer, said wearer having passed his arms through the two straps, the zipper in the closed position located between the lower attachment of the strap to the bag 106 and the end of the zipper 111 made integral with the point 107 of the strap passes between the arm of the wearer of the bag and its side, thus preventing access to it by a third party from the wearer's back. The wearer of the bag also has the possibility of visually or tactilely checking the presence of the pull tab at the stop of the zipper in the closed position at point 107.
[0039] According to an alternative embodiment shown in [Fig. 4], all or part of the second part 109 of the zipper between the end 105 of the main opening 101 and the end of the zipper 111 may not be entirely secured to the strap 103. In this example, the fastening of the zipper to the strap only takes place, for example, by fastening the pull tab alone on the strap at point 107 when the pull tab is at the stop of the zipper 111, for example on a hook on which the ring of the pull tab is hooked when the zipper is in the closed position, or any other ad hoc temporary fastening means, since the zipper completely covers the main opening 101 when it is in the closed position when the pull tab has reached the stop 111.
[0040] According to another alternative embodiment shown in [Fig.5], all or part of the zipper can be attached to the strap 103 starting from the upper attachment of the strap to the bag 110, and following the strap downwards to the attachment point 107.
[0041] According to another alternative embodiment not shown, the closure of the main opening can be carried out by means of a flap comprising a buckle closure made integral with one of the two straps of the bag, either by passing the buckle or the strap of the buckle above the upper attachment of the strap to the bag 110 and by fixing the buckle on the strap at point 107, or by passing the buckle or the strap of the buckle below the lower attachment of the strap to the bag 106 and by fixing the loop on the strap at point 107.
[0042] According to another alternative embodiment not shown, the zipper of the main opening may comprise two pull tabs, each being made integral with each of the two straps to obtain the same anti-theft effect.
[0043] According to an alternative embodiment not shown, the zipper of the main opening may comprise two pull tabs and two fixing means, one per strap, in order to secure each pull tab with a strap to obtain the desired anti-theft effect.
[0044] According to an alternative embodiment, the bag comprises an envelope made from at least one water-resistant material.
[0045] According to another variant embodiment, the bag comprises an envelope made from at least one material which has cut-resistant properties.
[0046] According to another variant embodiment, the bag comprises a single carrying strap.
[0047] According to another variant embodiment, the carrying strap is partially made up of the zipper which serves both as a closing member and as a carrying element.
